Category: Resident Evil/Biohazard Canon
Name: Albert Wesker (Though Wesker isn't his REAL last name...)
Alias: Captain Wesker, Wesker, Sir, Captain, Albert
Age: 50
Ranking: Villain (However in a messed up way he can even be considered an Anti-Hero or even Neutral...Villain just best suits his methods, really.)
Physical Appearance: Due to obvious chemical imbalance in his body, even as a fully grown adult he grew just a little bit taller and proportionately a little more weight. He's very well toned like someone who goes over to the gym on a regular basis. So pretty much he has muscle and very little body fat on him. Even his new choice of attire tends to compliment that. What DOES his new attire look like? Well, it's not too far off from the old outfits (Which he'll use every now and then) in terms of color since they're both black and have a higher neck (Similar to a turtle neck shirt, but not as thick) which stop midway. Save for the fact that his older outfits while working with umbrella didn't have a gold zipper down his chest.
The pants is also a bit more form fitting than before and unlike his H.C.F outfit, there's no buckles upon his boots. Sometimes he'll wear normal dress shoes to match his attire that isn't so `ready to kick ass if need be`like when he was working for Umbrella. There's two things he always wears that seems static for all of his outfits and that's use gloves that end about an inch above the wrist and sunglasses. The only difference would be the fabric in terms of the gloves. Now, the newer outfit's fabric seems to be compiled of many squares...and it seems to hold up well against bullets. As for his skin tone, it's pale with, if any at all, a very light tint of tan as to not make him look pink or sickly...rather healthy looking fellow. With normal, short, slicked back blonde locks that seem to have gotten dark highlights here and there rather than the pure golden yellow they were in the past.
Instead of having blue, green, gray, or even brown eyes like a normal person should, he's got red eyes with tints of amber here and there with a slit pupil similar to that of a dinosaur/reptile...or cat. Ah...and the shirt beneath his trench coat are pretty much short sleeves. It's kinda rare for him to wear a long sleeved shirt under a jacket. In fact, he prefers to wear short sleeves and an optional jacket or trench coat. (In the police force, they can choose between short sleeves or long sleeves, however he chose short sleeves while working with S.T.A.R.S as with any `uniform` he opts to use.)
Personality: One could sum him up in two easy words: intelligent and cunning. But there's much more to him than those mere words. Now, he absolutely loathes the old unit he worked with, S.T.A.R.S, especially Chris Redfield...so much so that he has his S.T.A.R.S issue Samurai Edge SPECIAL to kill him off with it. Which brings me to mention he's very tactful and uses his intelligence and cunning wisely. This is shown when he was working with S.T.A.R.S's most elite, how he practically hand picked them for their skill in combat and all of the training they received. In his own words, `From the two STARS teams, I first pitched in Bravo Team. As expected, top elite of STARS gave all they had and became useful sample data. Then following, I geared up the Alpha Team to search and rescue the lost Bravo Team. Members of the Alpha Team also proved their worth and as expected, many died.` CLEARLY indicating it was all according to plan.
Then how he used Barry was both quite intelligent and cunning seeing how of all the five remaining members he was the easiest to manipulate and thus, used him to play the role of Judas to lead Jill & Chris over toward the Tyrant. Now yes, he was certain it would kill them off, but when it didn't he wasn't exactly happy with the miscalculations thus exposing that revenge and eliminating those who get in his way was his way of handling scenarios such as these. So yeah, he definitely doesn't just get back up to dust himself off...he formulates a plan to destroy what got him on the ground in the first place. With the power he obtained, he enjoyed it oh so very much and had made it a point to be the one pulling strings making whoever...or whatever organization he worked for into his puppet. Being oh so very intelligent, Wesker not only formulates strategies and plans...but flaws in various things and can give himself far more options than the average person. Fix, destroy, or use it...varying on the situation sometimes those options are limited, however he isn't one to look at things from a narrow view point. A formidable opponent in not only combat due to how much knowledge he's capable of memorizing, but also intellectually as well.
Normally he's very calm, cool, and collected generally giving him the edge in terms of focus to think things through. However, he has RARE moments where he loses his cool and actually show more than a bit of `smart assed` antics with a smirk. It takes a lot to get him to expose his anger, though...or y'know if you're Chris and maiming his plans. Anyway, he's got a driven, determined personality which truly aids in following through with his goals proving to be most useful. A severely low tolerance for delays to the point where even if someone is his pawn, it's a HORRIBLE idea to hold him back seeing how that usually results in death. After all, death has proven to be a stepping stone in quite a few scenarios...not much of a hindrance. Even when someone important to his plans passes on to the icy grip of death, he salvages the situation in whatever way possible.
A prime example of this would be Birkin's death: as ideal as it would have been for him to survive, he DID manage to get a sample of the G-Virus out of it after H.U.N.K got Sherry's pendant. Salvaging a situation is more than likely his version of twisted optimism. When he does something that's considerably "stupid", chances are there's far more to it than what meets the eye. Now, there are also times where he'll temporarily alliance himself with someone to assure HIS plans go accordingly and is VERY rarely permanent. One example of this would be Ada Wong, he saw use in her due to their similar goals and how using her would further them thus why he even bothered rescuing her after Leon dropped her. Using something until they've `expired` is a method he's been known for using. As for his mental state, many may consider him as insane and should be locked up or killed, but in all actuality he's very logical and maybe even so sane that he's insane.
The viewpoint he takes on the world is odd to say the least. Such as how he's not a murderer, merely doing crowd control on the population. Then there's the fact that he lost his humanity but doesn't really care since the loss of his humanity only meant having much more power than he could have hoped for. Ah yes...trying to taunt him with psychological methods tends to just get shrugged off a vast majority of the time since it's generally taken as a bunch of bitching. It's not often he takes someone's words to heart. Aside from that, Wesker has been shown to have more than just a single mind set with how he handles something. There are even times where he will handle a situation much like a soldier rather than a scientist and lightly mesh the view point of a researcher to gain optimal results.
Did I mention he can be pretty damn manipulative...? Well he can be! It's also shown that he does in fact have a pretty strong degree of intuition and damn good instincts to complement them to such a degree that he'll follow them due to how logical those tend to be.By the way if you can't tell, Wesker is bad ass.
Powers/Abilities: Well let's dissect the talents and power of good ol' Albert Wesker!
`I was reborn into something much greater` - Thanks to the virus from William Birkin, he can probably FALCOOOOOOOON PAWNCH the Flash in the face and send em' flying into a wall! Oh...you want more details on that, huh? FIIIIIIIIINE!
On schedule...most of the time - Majority of the time, he's got his schedule moving along nice and smooth. Time management is very beneficial for someone such as himself, don'cha know!
Qualifications of a special forces unit captain - WELL DUH! He's damn good at combat strategies and DID lead S.T.A.R.S....even if he lead them to their doom. Still, that was totally intentional and their doom, for the most part, was inevitable thanks to his planning. Anyway, Wesker has also been known to be superb at placing the right soldiers/pawns in the right spot.Checkmate, bitches. Yes, this also means when it comes to combat with or without weapons, he's VERY formidable and it's best to watch your back against him. So pretty much he's a skilled tactician & strategist who can hold his own in combat and survival situations. Wise with provisions too.
Damn good marksman - When he misses, 99.9% of the time it's intentionally, the .1 percent it's missing by accident due to his opponent's own skill & personal error. So when he busts out the guns, he's quite literally sick of wasting his time and needs to meet a deadline. Hur hur...get it?!
`Your death just makes me one step closer to my goal...` - Quite frankly, he doesn't care at ALL about the lives of others who get in his way in any shape and/or form. There's no such thing as guilt or regret when he's responsible for taking a life. Call him a monster, go ahead he doesn't give a rat's ass cause y'know what? Sometimes sacrifices need to be made to complete the bigger picture. Yeah, he'd probably plant a bullet in some kid's skull if he saw them as getting in the way somehow then be all "...so?" if someone called him a monster.
Surprisingly Reliable - If you prove useful to Wesker in terms of alliance, you can actually count on him to help you out of a bind somehow if he's aware of it. He may be an evil bastard but hey, look at what he did for Ada Wong? Wesker dislikes that bitch a lot but he saved her because she was still useful in furthering his plans.
Detective skills - In case you haven't figured out from his intelligence, he's good at gathering information and solving things.
Oh so very determined and strong willed - Don't count on him to give up and say die anytime soon, when he sets his mind to something he'll do his best to follow through. Plus, he's not easy to kick around psychologically due to how he really isn't one to have regrets or things of that nature. Yeah, sorry Psycho Mantis...you'll struggle A LOT with trying to make him your puppet.
Blah blah blah...that's all that was crawling out of your mouth. - SUH-PRISE! He has a high tolerance before getting all RAGE or even irritated to the point were it'll affect his mental clarity. So keep running your mouth kiddies cause quite frankly he has more important things to worry about than petty insults or things of that nature.
Friggin' Psychological Mindf-4KIDS-ck BASTARD! - Ah yes, one of his best known talents. If he can find psychological vulnerability that can be twisted and contorted, expect it to be messed with so things go according to plan.
Above and beyond the average level of intelligence - That's right, he's not some goddamn moron you can trick with ease. It's going to take effort to outwit someone like him.
Connections connections... - There's a reason why he has so much power...aside from from the virus...connections up the friggin wazoo thus adding on to his information sources and the amount of intel he can receive...as well as funding and things of that nature. Gotta love it!
Behind the scenes and pulling the strings...most of the time - It's true, he has a knack for remaining out of the public eye and letting it all lead up to either no one or someone who isn't him. What? It's gotta count as an ability since not everyone can pull that off like him!
Sharp Intuition and Instinct - Maybe it's enhanced from the virus or just a natural thing he's got going for him. Buuut it's been proven he has and follows his intuition and instinct, then finds it's absolutely right. Whether or not it's from so much experience that it's become its own sixth sense, maybe even having a high level of intelligence that it's like intuition...hell could be a mix of all of the above. One thing is sure though, Wesker himself has pointed out that he's got intuition and instinct theeen it's confirmed. Like with Ada Wong, his intuition and instincts hinted off she was buying into her emotions toward Leon. LOW AND BEHOLD! THERE BE ROMANCE AND ISSUES FOR THE MISSION! Thank you Ada Wong for being such a useful screw up!
Without leaving his fingerprints - Damn straight he's hella good at covering his tracks and making it a complete and total pain in the ass for detective types to track him down. Let alone others, just because you got a camera or something watching him doesn't mean you'll succeed when he goes out. He's not an idiot and plans things to a ...T...remember? No? Well now you got a refresher.
Equipment: Considering he's not one to waste his time beating the crap out of something with JUST his fists, he'll have some weaponry as well...let's not forget B.O.Ws and things of the like.
Viral Army - Oh yes...with all the data he has and the occasional test subject gathering he has PLENTY of variety and some things that even Umbrella doesn't have. This time they don't turn against their master. However, he's still looking to improve various things and expand said variety. Well...aside from the dummies using old viral data...their infection is pretty much a mirror image and can easily be traced to the original producer who made it BEFORE he took it.
Disposable Lackeys - Lots and lots of those, and they're all skilled at what tasks they have at hand. All of them go through an extremely difficult screening process to assure lower the risk of screw ups. Yeah this includes researchers, yo.
Multiple Facilities - Lots and lots of dummies, even some were once owned by Umbrella. Quite suitable for distracting others trying to track him AND as traps to secure the death of those who wish to stop him.
OODLES OF DATA AND SAMPLES - Hard earned virus data is in his grasp and he'll use them all to further his goals.
---> Regular weapon load out.
KA FRICKEN BOOM! - Wesker does in fact have bombs that he'll use to rig a place for some painful, or even deadly explosions. Most of the time he leans toward motion detection and pressure sensitive methods to make it more difficult on bomb disposal experts like Jill Valentine. Then there's also the fact that he uses various grenades as well.
Smith & Wesson Model 500...a.k.a The Handcanon
Desert Eagle...a.k.a L. Hawk (Lightning Hawk)
Hydra
S.T.A.R.S issue Beretta 92F Custom a.k.a Samurai Edge - This amazing handgun is what Wesker has been saving to shoot Chris in the face...well...KILL him with it...that's going to be liberating!
S.T.A.R.S issue Knife - Simply a combat knife with the S.T.A.R.S insignia on top. Just something he'll plant to mess with Chris....and use if need be
Combat Knife - Yep....he's got a back-up combat knife as well! Great for stabbing and slicing stuff open!
Psychological Flaws: Oh...? You don't think he has any? Really now...? Wrong as can be....
Trust issues! - There's only one person he's remotely close to trusting, Birkin...who died and left back a clone. Anyone else? It's just business as usual and quite frankly it can be a problem.
`White Rabbit` - As good as it is to keep track of time, it's like his life tends to revolve around a schedule. This could mean his foes will get spared and get to live another day at the very least.
REVEEEEEENGE! - When it comes to revenge, this guy is HELLBENT on it. That's probably not very healthy now is it? Especially when it comes to CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS D< since he's gone a bit out of his way to deal with him so there's no doubt anyone else who he considers being in his way will serve as a distraction to a degree.
...Friends?! DON'T MAKE HIM LAUGH! ...oh wait....er...wtf.... - In terms of human beings, let's face it...he hasn't had ANY confirmed friends. The only LIVING thing close to being remotely close to a friend was Willaim Birkin who the world can thank for his conquest in the `STRONGEST VIRUS SEARCH` department. Now that he has William Birkin's clone to deal with and has proven to be valuable enough to give a damn.....and Wesker WILL kill you yaoi fangirls if you take it the wrong way.
BETTER THAN YOU! - This can, and has proven to cause him some issues. You see, with all the power he's gotten, it's kinda gotten to his head and thus causing him to underestimate a foe once in a while. He underestimated Jill & Chris, look at where THAT lead him? Them being alive since he figured the Tyrant was strong enough to dispose of weak humans. As intelligent as he is, still, he has his `oopsie` moments due to that oh so wonderful high and mighty attitude.
Outwitted...wut? - It's EXTREMELY difficult considering the experience he's gained from trial and error over the years, however it's still possible to outwit him with the proper strategy. This is actually the best bet for dealing with him rather than hand to hand combat all on its own. It ain't a cake walk but it's possible...CHRIS AND JILL CAN DO EET FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
IKSJDKE CHRIS I WANT YOU TO DIE ALREADY! - Yeah, he's pretty pissed off that every attempt to kill this guy doesn't seem to work out. So this can set him in "subtle" RAAAAAAAGE mode. It's highly recommended to stay out of his way when it comes to the showdown with Chris again...it'll be extremely bad for your health. Oh right, how is this a weakness? He might deviate from a plan or whatever he's doing at the time for a while just to spare a bit of time to try and kill off the previous S.T.A.R.S member.
Physical Flaws: Just because he can get shot up doesn't mean there's no such thing as a physical flaw or two...
Endurance isn't perfect - Feeling pain can be a bit of a hindrance since he's not exactly a masochist LIKE SOME PEOPLE and will pause for a moment in recovery when the damage is significant and/or profound enough. Normally he can dust off things like gunshot wounds and stab wounds with ease and kinda snickers at physical attack attempts for the most part. BUT! There are times where he'll actually have a moment of pause to kinda be like `Wtf?`. Mostly when he's fatigued and his body is recovering...as rare as that is...
Fatigue...holy SHIT it exists?! - Seriously...he's not the flash and yeah he can recover hecka fast but REALLY? You think he can run at high speeds for an eternity and a friggin' half? He WISHES but anyway, getting to the point, he's not flawless and has to have his rest as well like most people. Otherwise we'll have our faux god flopping over from over exertion...as much as he'd like to...race around the world tirelessly LIKE SOME PEOPLE muthafuckinflash C: the world should be happy he can't otherwise he'd have his way already ^u^
EEEEEEE FREAKY EYES ARE FREAKY! - Wesker's eyes seem to be the only real obvious mutation in terms of his physical appearance. They're similar to a reptile or cat's eyes...primarily red with amber accents. They're usually blocked from sight with his sunglasses...which he always wears. This is only a weakness only because it can cause and raise suspicion which can become a hurdle to deal with for his plans to go through. In other words this can induce people to become nuisances and flip out.
WHY are you wearing sunglasses indoors, sir? - It may not count for much but some may find it JUUUUUST a bit odd that he's wearing sunglasses in a totally dark room.
FFFFFF! TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON, MOFO! - OH HO HO! Isn't this a surprise? He CAN have issues in dark rooms after all! Wesker will become more along the lines of near sighted rather than far sighted. Fifteen feet away, you look like part of a Picasso painting in the dark w/o fatigue. SO! What about when he's fatigued? Then it's like if you're in a dark room with him and about five feet away he'll be all "THERE YOU ARE >D" meaning his eyesight is just that much worse in the dark w/fatigue.
PG67A/W - Ah yes...he started to become a bit unstable and required timely doses. As good as he is about maintaining the schedule regarding his "medicine", if he receives and overdose it'll act as a poison and weaken him quite a bit as well as mess with his senses a bit. For example his eyesight isn't as sharp and will occasionally blur due to sudden spells of dizziness. Without the PG67A/W shot, he becomes a tad bit weaker. Whether or not dear ol' Birkin can help solve this problem is something only time can tell.
Other Flaws: Yes...yes these do exist...
Long time no see. So. How IS that knife in your back? - Normally when Wesker betrays someone, they won't live to tell the tale because they're dead as a doornail or heavily experimented on to become his unwilling lackey to do his bidding. As beautiful of a process as that is and can be working VERY well with him rather than against him, sometimes things don't go according to plan due to the power of friendship or...somehow surviving. Though he can easily hold his own and handle various situations with little difficulty to no difficulty, being hunted down and having people try to get in his way or stop him are such a hindrance and further postpone his plans. Thus causing him to stray from his main goal(s).
Sherry...wait...what the hell? REALLY?! - Believe it or not, he may have actually felt a little bad if this girl died since there was something about her...maybe because it was William Birkin's child. With William Birkin's fail safe of a clone, he found it to be beneficial in terms of keeping her alive after all. So he actually retrieved her for such an occasion. If someone DARED to hurt her, they'd have to deal with a very unhappy Wesker since that means potential interference to his plans. The 22 year old may be a little surprised to see her dad's clone though giving him something to deal with.
William Birkin 2.0...errrr...his clone - Proven to be useful to his work and is the reason why he's even going in the virus development direction, he would rather not have something happen to him again. Let alone let Umbrella get their mitts on him, hence why he was certain to whisk him up as soon as he rediscovered him. Primarily, this is his only true comrade...though there's still some issues to hammer out due to how clones aren't always like the original. At least he's still useful...possibly so much so that he's not in a big rush to retrieve the excessive note taking android.
Mia?! - When he found out about this creation, he fetched her himself then got A LOT of his plans ready to hop off the ground and much more. However now she's gone and the person who let her exit the facility is...well...no longer human or too alive. This could be another reason why he leaves his usual place from the shadows: an attempt to retrieve her due to the possibilities and doors she can open up for him...especially if partnered with good ol' Birkin. As unlikely as it is that he'll actually require fetching her, it's still a possibility all the same.
Brief History: (Thanks to Resident Evil Wikia for majority of the info!)
Albert Wesker was born of parents with superior intellectual genes. He and dozens of other children of his caliber were collected and raised as components of the Wesker children project by the Umbrella Corporation and given the surname "Wesker". He showed particular promise over the other children, which pleased Umbrella's founder, Ozwell E. Spencer. Spencer saw in Wesker the makings of what his children needed. Obviously not coincidentally, Albert would eventually go into the service of the same company that molded him and become a close employee under the watchful eyes of his 'creator', Spencer, all the while unaware of the pharmaceutical president's true intentions and his origins.
Wesker joined the international pharmaceutical enterprise Umbrella at the age of 17 and began working as one of its researchers. In 1977, Wesker was assigned to the Umbrella Management Training Facility under Doctor James Marcus. Wesker became friends with, and a rival of fellow trainee William Birkin, becoming colleagues and accomplices for years to come. Both Wesker and Birkin were regarded by Marcus as his best apprentices and the only people he trusted. When the Training Facility was closed down on July 29, 1978, the two were personally transferred to the Arklay Research Facility (underneath the Spencer Estate) to continue their own tyrant virus research (while Marcus continued to work on his own), becoming the facility's chief researchers.
Wesker's and Birkin's research of the t-virus lasted over 13 years and three different stages. In 1988, when the research reached its third stage (the creation of the Tyrant Bio-weapon), Wesker and Birkin were then ordered by Spencer to assassinate their former mentor, Marcus and steal all of his research. Shortly after, Birkin's research yielded the discovery of the G-virus in the body of Lisa Trevor, a long time test subject of Wesker and Birkin's while at the Arklay facility. When Spencer approved his project in 1991, Wesker began having doubts about Spencer's intentions and requested a transfer to Umbrella's Intelligence Bureau that same year.
In 1996, Wesker joined the newly-founded S.T.A.R.S. division of the Raccoon Police Department, where he worked as a double agent for Umbrella, giving them information on any police investigations. Two years after the formation of S.T.A.R.S., a series of cannibal homicides were reported near the Arklay region. While the public feared these deaths were the work of a local cult, only Umbrella knew the truth. In an effort to control the public outcry, S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team was dispatched to the region to investigate the situation. Wesker used the time they were gone as an opportunity to gather battle data by pitting the members of S.T.A.R.S. against Umbrella's B.O.W.s.
At the same time, Wesker and Birkin were ordered to reclaim the Umbrella Training Facility. Unfortunately, the resurrected Marcus destroyed any chance of reclaiming it. Forced to destroy the facility, Wesker realized this to be the perfect opportunity to leave Umbrella to pursue his own personal interests. After destroying the escaped failed experiment: The T-001, Wesker encountered the head of Umbrella's paramilitary organizations: Sergei Vladimir, who was Spencer's trusted colonel. He asked where Wesker was going, and Wesker simply said his next mission. Sergei reminded him that the reclamation of the training facility was his mission.
Wesker pointed out that the t-virus had escaped, infecting a great deal of the area. He told Sergei that his intent was to destroy the facility and dispose of it, as it was of no further use. Sergei reminded Wesker that he was not in charge of Umbrella and could not just do as he pleased without his superiors' consent, unaware of Wesker's intentions to leave Umbrella, anyway. He then unleashed his bodyguard, an Ivan against him in order to punish Wesker for his failure and as a reminder of who was in control. Wesker saw the fight as a chance for some entertainment and battled the B.O.W..
Just as the Ivan was about to attack again, an explosion occurred in the training facility, above. Wesker gave a soft smile as the facility's charges detonated, and the blast caught Sergei and his Ivan off guard so they could shield themselves. This gave Wesker enough time to slip away and escape the defunct facility, prompting Sergei to say "I guess he didn't like his lesson." Wesker then prepared to dispatch the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team to the region.
By the following day, all contact with Bravo team was lost and Wesker's Alpha team was dispatched to the site. Upon arrival, Alpha team was attacked by a loose Cerberus pack and then, abandoned by their pilot, Brad Vickers. After the loss of member Joseph Frost to the dogs, Wesker and the remaining members of Alpha team sought refuge in the nearby mansion, where Wesker had previously worked. Initially ordering everyone to split up, Wesker disappeared and left the remaining members of Alpha team (Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Barry Burton) to fend for themselves.
Of the nine S.T.A.R.S. operatives who entered the mansion (including Wesker himself), only four members of Alpha team, along with Bravo team's Enrico Marini and Rebecca Chambers, managed to survive against the various creatures and bio-organic weapons that infested the facility. In order to ensure the downfall of the other members, Wesker used extortion in order to convince Barry to do his bidding (luring the others to traps) by threatening his family. When Enrico uncovered evidence that implicated Wesker and Umbrella, Wesker murdered Enrico. However, Chris and Jill learned the truth about Wesker and then proceeded to foil his plot by destroying the T-002 Tyrant, along with the facility itself.
During the ensuing chaos, Wesker injected himself with an experimental virus given to him by his partner, William Birkin. After allowing the Tyrant to "kill" him, the virus reanimated his body after the room became empty. This gave him superhuman strength, agility and regeneration, but at the severe cost of the loss of his humanity. The resulting mutation also gave him gold-red cat-like eyes (but these were not immediately noticeable, due to the sunglasses he always wore). Wesker was revived, while the remaining S.T.A.R.S. operatives were convinced that the Tyrant killed him. After reviving, Wesker realized the S.T.A.R.S. had destroyed the Tyrant and escaped with their lives. He then tried to steal the data from the laboratory and escape.
Wesker found that Sergei had downloaded the data to the U.M.F-013 and the Red Queen had locked him from the mainframe system. He swore revenge against the remaining S.T.A.R.S. members, Sergei, and the Red Queen. His plans foiled, Wesker resolved to escape the mansion before the self-destruct timer ended. He was forced into a battle with the remaining B.O.W.s on his way to the exit, and praised his new immense powers when his enemies were swept away with little effort. Wesker mused that he hoped Chris and Jill would live long enough for the three of them to have their "tear-filled reunion", laughing evilly at the thought of seeing them again. He also had to deal with Lisa Trevor, who first approached Wesker outside an elevator leading to the surface from the lab.
Wesker was not expecting Lisa's arrival, believing that S.T.A.R.S. had disposed of her in Jessica's tomb. He managed to incapacitate the creature, saying "Nobody's perfect, not even you, Lisa." He then went up in the elevator, heading back up to the mansion. However, after he left, Lisa rose up from the ground, still not dead. With what little of her mind was left, Lisa had no other goal but to take revenge on the man who experimented on and deformed her. She pursued Wesker up to the mansion, and approached him again in the main hall. Wesker noted that he needed to pick up his pace, as the 'hour glass' was running low. He resolved to find another route, not wishing to waste time with the stubborn Lisa, who he knew would pursue him tirelessly.
Fending off the remaining B.O.W.s, Wesker had several confrontations with Lisa, who continued to note as stubborn and at one point humorously saying "She must like me." He saw why she had been called immortal after all the weaponry he emptied into her and she still got up. Eventually, Lisa unexpectedly turned away from Wesker and walked away, and it seemed she had given up. However, when returning to the main hall, Wesker again saw her, this time hiding behind columns in a corner. She approached him one final time, and Wesker, tired of her stalking, said he would grant her wish for eternal rest. Using his new abilities, Wesker matched the persistence of Lisa, jumping high into the air to avoid her more damaging attacks.
Wesker shot the chandelier above them loose, and lured Lisa under it. She was crushed when it fell, and as Wesker walked out of the main hall, he said "Be a good girl and stay dead this time." He then quickly sprinted through the forest, trying to put as much distance as possible between himself and the mansion before it exploded. When it finally did, taking Lisa with it, Wesker looked back at the burning rubble triumphantly. The scenario served as a metaphorical representation of Wesker's proclaiming of being reborn "like a phoenix emerging from the flame." He saw a new horizon stretch out before him, and thought of how he had risen beyond the human race and "cheated death itself", leaving nothing to oppose him in his quest for power.
With the combat data and bio-weapon research data he acquired from the the mansion, Wesker was able to secure a high-ranking employment position within one of Umbrella's mysterious rivals known only under pseudonyms like "The Organization" and "The Agency".
Still holding the illusion of his death, Wesker avoided showing himself and instead took to being the contact between spies and the Organization. When Raccoon City suffered a t-virus outbreak, Wesker sent an agent by the name of Ada Wong to retrieve the G-virus sample in the (unknowing) possession of William's only daughter Sherry Birkin, hidden within her pendant. Ada managed to retrieve the sample, much to Wesker and the Organization's pleasure.
After months of hiding in the shadows, Wesker and the H.C.F. -a heavily armed assault force- attacked the Umbrella facility on Rockfort Island, intent on retrieving a sample of the T-Veronica virus by one of Umbrella's chief researchers Alexia Ashford. The t-virus was released in the process when armed conflict with Umbrella's guards took place.
The attack succeeded, especially when the t-virus samples and captive B.O.W's in the laboratory section of the facility broke containment and contaminated the Island. However, Wesker and his men failed to find the missing Alexia. Wesker then went to the Antarctic Research Facility, which had also suffered a t-virus outbreak from infected Rockfort employees fleeing to the facility.
It was here Wesker encountered his former subordinate Chris Redfield (who had arrived seeking his missing sister Claire). Wesker failed to gain a sample of the virus from Alexia, especially when he tried to use his own abilities to force her to surrender one, only to be driven back by Alexia's own abilities. Wesker then left Chris to fight Alexia, and secured a sample of the virus from the retrieved corpse of Steve Burnside. The base started its self-destruct sequence, but Wesker engaged Chris in combat, eager to settle the score. Wesker quickly used his immense strength and speed to gain dominance, with Chris refusing to allow Wesker an easy kill. Wesker was poised to deliver the finishing blow, only for an explosion, caused by the priming self-destruct, to knock a flaming pillar in between the two. Wesker, vowing Chris was lucky and next time they met he couldn't count on luck again, escaped the base as it began to crumble and explode around them. Wesker reached an Organization Submarine and sailed away. While the flaming pillar had badly burned Wesker's face, his burns healed sometime later due to his superhuman regenerative capabilities. It would be eight years later following this incident in which Wesker and Chris would meet each other for a confrontation once again.
Four years later, in the year 2002 Wesker was later contacted by the leader of the South American drug cartel "Sacred Snakes", Javier Hidalgo. Apparently, a former researcher of Umbrella supplied Javier with the t-virus in an attempt to save his wife, Hilda Hidalgo, with disastrous results. As his daughter, Manuela Hidalgo, had also contracted the same illness as her mother, he requested Wesker's help. Wesker supplied him with the Veronica virus in exchange for a large sum of money as well as a share in his dealings. He also gave him specific instructions to utilize the T-Veronica virus, mirroring the samples created by Alexia Ashford. He later saw the rest of the mutated carcass of Javier Hildago from afar with his binoculars.
One year later, in February 2003, Wesker infiltrated the Russian Umbrella Facility around the same time that Chris and Jill, his former S.T.A.R.S. subordinates, arrived for the purpose of destroy T-A.L.O.S., Umbrella's final B.O.W., and bring Umbrella to justice. Wesker made his way through the bowels of the facility teaming with all of its B.O.W.s, until reaching the sub-levels and encountering Sergei Vladimir once again, who claims that all the problems Umbrella went through over the years only made him stronger. Wesker told Sergei to step aside, and in response, Sergei sends his two Ivan bodyguards to dispatch Wesker. Using his superhuman abilities, Wesker defeated the two Ivans effortlessly, and continued deeper into the facility, where he met and confronted Sergei in the control room at the same time Chris and Jill fought T-A.L.O.S.. While they managed to eliminate Umbrella's final B.O.W., Wesker himself managed to defeat and kill Sergei Vladimir, who had mutated into a monster as a result of infecting himself with the t-virus. Wesker then took Umbrella data from the Red Queen, before deleting the computers memory, shutting down the facility. Shortly thereafter, finally having strong evidence against Umbrella, he brought his findings to the court. With information from Wesker (who operated under the pretense of being a personal friend of the CEO), Umbrella was found guilty and officially shut-down, its top officials suffering legal troubles and an international manhunt began for Ozwell E. Spencer. With the accumulated Umbrella Archives in hand, Wesker had what he needed to create a new Umbrella of his own. Wesker then took the archives and uploaded them to the system within his operations center, having accessibility to all of Umbrella's history and files at his fingertips. He vowed to one day meet Spencer again and succeed him as the one destined to usher in the new future of the world, which Spencer's vision, whatever it had been, failed to accomplish.
Soon after the raid on the Caucasus Facility, Wesker contacted Tricell; another pharmaceutical corporation, and with the wealth of information and resources collected from Umbrella, allowed Tricell to establish a secret bioweapons division, for which Wesker was greatly compensated. He decided to secretly work with them, as they were another valuable asset, and began further independent activities kept secret from his Organization superiors. A particular interest of Wesker was Excella Gionne, an employee of Tricell and descendant of its founders. Her intellect and ambitious nature, matching Wesker's own, caught his eye. He decided that she would serve as a high-level asset, and with his resources provided, he helped her climb through the ranks of Tricell. Excella found Wesker intriguing as well, to the point of romantic attraction. Due to his callous personality, Wesker did not return this affection, seeing Excella as a mere tool. However, he did not outright let her know this, playing along with her to an extent.
Following the fall of Umbrella, Wesker soon proved to be a problem for his Organization superiors. Wesker had always cherished a desire for power, prominence and domination over others, and, seeing Umbrella as power incarnate, used it to hide behind while he made plans of his own. He established a secret organization of his own, using Umbrella's infrastructure retrieved from the Umbrella Caucasus Research Facility, and began recruiting agents such as Jack Krauser into it. When Umbrella folded, and the sanctuary and protection it provided ruined by the surviving Umbrella leaders' constant power struggles, Wesker decided that bringing his new Umbrella to complete fruition was his most necessary goal. He would need to amass much wealth and resources. In order to achieve this, Wesker planned to go down the list of Umbrella's other top rival corporations, sell them samples of Umbrella's viruses they desired, and finance his personal empire. He would keep this agenda secret from his Organization superiors, though they were suspicious.
Wesker began his plot with TriCell (disguised with the name "S"), who had been interested in acquiring a sample of the newly discovered Las Plagas parasitic organism, preferably an advanced Control Plaga developed by Los Illuminados cult leader, Osmund Saddler. Wesker contacted Tricell and struck the deal. He commissioned Ada Wong, his old partner, to once again aid the field portion of the operation, while Wesker himself remained at his hideout and kept in touch with her via digital video feed. All the while, he contacted her for reports and updates in the objective. Wesker was apparently on a deadline to retrieve the sample, and made it his and Ada's most important goal. He also sent Krauser in to help Ada, though they were at conflict. Krauser thought that Ada would betray Wesker and said that neither of them trusted her, and Ada noted in her report that she wondered if Wesker had sent her to keep an eye on Krauser. Nothing suggests which of the two Wesker trusted more, though he considered them both expendable pawns.
Wesker gave Ada assignments to deal with people in the area, including Luis Sera and Leon S. Kennedy. Luis was a contact of theirs, and he was making attempts from inside the cult to steal the Control Plaga sample. Wesker made it important for Ada to watch over Luis, but he was soon killed by Saddler, and the retrieved sample was lost. Wesker was not concerned, simply saying "There will be another time...", and didn't pity Luis. Wesker also saw Leon as an extra obstacle and ordered Ada to kill him, though she insisted he was of no trouble. She was quite reluctant to carry out Wesker's order, as she had formed a bond with Leon in Raccoon City. When Wesker later asked if she had gotten a chance to kill him, she lied and said the opportunity had not come. Wesker decided to let Leon live for the time being and allowed him to serve as further distraction for Saddler's followers. He later informed Ada of the Illuminados' panic due to Leon's actions, and decided to have Krauser kill Leon instead. Ada saved him, not playing by Wesker's rules.
Ada falsely reported Krauser was dead to Wesker, who found it interesting how easily Leon could avoid death. This implies that Wesker was suspicious of Ada and quite aware that she had let Leon live, and that Krauser was alive as well. He decided to let Leon take care of Saddler himself, and told Ada to eliminate either one still standing when the fight ended. He reminded Ada that he was running the show, and required her to put a halt to whoever could stall their plans, including Leon. Krauser himself was later killed for real by Ada, who said that she didn't want to fill out a large amount of paper work should Krauser return alive. Ada later helped Leon destroy Saddler and stole the sample without killing him, though Wesker may have been aware of this. It was revealed that Ada was not at all loyal to Wesker, but still to the Organization, whom Wesker had gone against. She sent him a false Control Plaga sample on their orders (actually a Modified Subordinate Plaga), and brought them the real sample.
This, however, only stalled Wesker's plans temporarily. Tricell still compensated Wesker greatly for the different sample he provided, as they managed to put it to use. Wesker left the Organization shortly afterward, apparently no longer needing them. Ever since his faked death, Wesker managed to hide himself in the shadows flawlessly, and it was no trouble for him to avoid his vengeful superiors.
Of course...what Tricell doesn't know is Wesker has other plans and a facility different from their own and they're merely a big pawn.
(I MAY BE DOING ADDITIONAL EDITS IN THE NEAR FUTURE...this seemed like a good stopping point C:)
Reason for being on AM: Locate Spencer, rip his heart out, shanghai his right to be a god because he's a feeble, incompetent old man....shoot Chris with a camera rolling and watch Jill cry like a widow before turning her blonde and make her do some evil stuff, MAYBE get his note taking tree assassin back, create a new genesis as its creator or settle for replacing the world's current leaders, create new monstrosities to plague the world...so on so forth...get rid of all obstacles in his path.....not in that specific order but you know...mostly things that will make any heroic type want to rip their own hair out once in a while....

It's also shown that he does in fact have a pretty strong degree of intuition and damn good instincts to complement them to such a degree that he'll follow them due to how logical those tend to be.
- Super Speed - EXTREMELY fast, let's just say it'll appear as though he's teleporting in short distances. Let's just say he's fast enough to cut off the Flash or any other speedsters.
- Super Strength - He's about as strong as he is smart, and that's pretty damn strong. Punching steel doors, breaking bones, stopping missiles in mid air, and ramming his hand through a person's chest have never been so easy! THANKS BIRKIN!
- Extremely Agile - What a deadly combo this is with his strength AND speed, but hey! This guy has great agility and can best utilize both his strength and speed well enough to be deadly to most super hero types.
- Viral Compatibility - It's been proven that he's not one who will have to worry about an infection taking over his mental stability, thus always being in control.
- Excellent Eyesight - Who the hell needs eye glasses to correct his vision?! HE DOESN'T! Thanks to the virus from Birkin, he's capable of enhancing his eyesight and can see MUCH better than most. Plus it's hella nifty for seeing bullets and avoiding them...yeah his sight is THAT good to catch such fast movement. They seem to glow every now and then...seems to be when he's being a devious bastard...
- Regeneration and Resurrection - Lucky him, his tissue can mend and repair itself plus revive him even from things that SHOULD kill a normal human being...or most mortal creatures for that matter. The Tyrant showed this off perfectly by ramming its claw into his chest! Comes in handy for faking his own death, by the way. Don't expect him to get sick any time soon either...THAT'S RIGHT JOKER AND SCARECROW! YOU AIN'T GOT SHIT ON WESKER! HAHAHAHAHAAAAA >3
- Advanced endurance & stamina - Not only is Wesker able to handle physical attacks MUCH better than most, but he can also push himself beyond a normal human being. You know stress tests where you gotta run some laps and then quickly shoot a target to the best of your ability? Yeah, that's easier for him now. He could pass those before due to how he's in shape, buuuuuut now it's simple as hell. Let's just say in terms of fighting, people should be happy he's hellbent on keeping a schedule.
Anyway, Wesker has also been known to be superb at placing the right soldiers/pawns in the right spot.
---> Regular weapon load out.
Weaknesses
Now that he has William Birkin's clone to deal with and has proven to be valuable enough to give a damn.
Reason for being on AM: Locate Spencer, rip his heart out, shanghai his right to be a god
Sample RP: (LET'S HOPE I DON'T FAIL HELLA HARDCORE, GAIZ!)
Holding the L. Hawk magnum as though he was back in his S.T.A.R.S daysor SECRET. AAAAAAAAAGENT MAN! SECRET! AAAAAGENT MAN!...it seemed some of his men were struggling against some big bad threat regardless of their training. It was pathetic, maybe even a little tragic....considering they were quite useful prior to their expiration. However, this man taking methodical steps down the hallway splattered with blood and chunks of flesh here and there like a morbid kindergartner's prized macaroni finger paint art decided it was best not to rush into things. Sure, he had a lot of power and could even rise back to life, but he was careful and cautious to a degree by nature like a trained soldier...why be a fool and walk into a trap when it can be prevented? Traps only caused delays and he'd have none of that at all. Oh what was this...? One of his soldiers with his entrails clawed out like a pair of large jaws bit into the abdominal area for a quick bite was rudely interrupted thus leaving it look quite sloppy...hm...wasn't that the general he appointed?
What a shame...well no matter he could be replaced in due time. With that static serious look of his that made him he couldn't help but let out a soft tsk before muttering out in a tone which hinted off a little annoyance and a dash of `saw this a mile away`, "Looks like the experiment got out of hand after all...no matter...nothing a god such as myself can't handle..." Smirking for a short moment after those words as though to rub it into the faces of all those trying to combat against bioterrorism...namely Chris Redfield and the rest of those idiots in the B.S.A.A. That's right, he actually found more uses for the T-Virus which most certainly wasn't good news for the world. Ah yes...all those fallen soldiers...they'd all do nicely in the undead faction of his army...perhaps he'd even use some of the good stuff on them rather than what he was using to make it look like Umbrella was back in action. Continuing on his little adventure and occasionally stepping over some mangled bodies, but once he reached the corner he put his back against the wall and turned his head juuust a bit all to see a creature that had gotten out of it's cage. This lovely little monstrosity had large claws with muscle tissue and even some torn up intestine resting on it's large hands.
The room itself was pretty big since it was one of the few research facilities. For some reason their quarantine system was on the fritz which he was trying to fix but apparently this thing was chewing on the repair guy...great. That explained everything...oh well, he'd get things running to his liking again after disposing of this beautiful monstrosity. It was heavily based on the Tyrant series, however the infected in question was a curious specimen indeed. For you see there was a reason why its claws looked similar to a mole's and looked more like a fleshy version of the creature...his men captured a `weremole` which he almost found laughable considering how silly the concept was. However it was no laughing matter when he saw how ferocious this werecreature was and just couldn't help but experiment on it to make it even more horrendous to the eyes of mankind. Shame that he'd have to play euthanasia with this poor, magnificent creature.
Quickly, he turned the corner and trained his gun on the creature's head and squeezed the trigger. Shot one...it screamed in pain and it chomped the screaming repairman right in half with blood trickling down it's sharp teeth. Seeing it turn toward him, his own eyes emitted a subtle red glow as though it were taking a sharper look...and wouldn't you know it a pounding heart was visible through some protruding ribs. There we go...that was probably where he had to hit...seemed like it was based on the Tyrant that was a little brittle in his opinion. Another shame, it would have been better if they infected it with something else and far more advanced...oh well. The thing's claws seemed to extend and quickly the ex-captain repositioned his gun and narrowed his eyes slightly fixating the position quickly on the heart and pulled the trigger once again. Five more bullets left...and now it crouched down screeching in a way that could make nails on a chalk board seem polite.
Now was his chance... Holstering the gun and rushing off into a sprint that was so quick that it only took him a second to get him past the lovely creation and stopped himself in a stance where he readjusted his posture and clenched his right hand into a fist. With one hell of a swift turn, he saw the creature starting to shift it's body in his direction trying to get to its full height with a pissed off growl. With the way it was slouched over, he had a nice little opening and closer to his height...excellent. Charging at it with a look on his face that seemed to scream out `seriously, I'm going to kill you now.` and brought his hand back angling his body ever so slightly. Just as it was about to swing a claw at who should be its master, the blonde sporting sunglasses slammed his knuckles right into its heart breaking the pair of ribs in the way causing blood to spray. Aaand a twist of his fist, he opened up his hand within that portion of its chest cavity and pulled his hand right on out and only looking it over for a good couple of seconds almost as though to admire how this thing's blood glistened upon his black gloves.
Well look at that, now it had its over sized heart hanging right out of his chest...couldn't have it coming back to get him could he? Of course not, that's why he took his L. Hawk out again and aimed it at the heart string before pulling the trigger causing it to smash onto the ground. Holstering his gun once more, he couldn't help but let out a slightly disappointed but still annoyed sigh pass his lips while taking off his sunglasses. Damn blood splatter was obscuring his vision...wiping it off with his left hand, he figured that would do then slid them back over his amber and crimson optics centered by a slit pupil. Hearing a soft beep emit from the earpiece connected to his radio, he brought his bloody hand up to push the pad of his index finger upon the button while speaking in a tone much like a business man serious about his job, "Perfect timing...the experiment causing a ruckus has been dealt with. Now get this area cleaned up and get the Tyrant Weremole to the west wing's facility for further study, I will not tolerate any further delays." Moving his hand off the button to end the call, he began taking a methodical stroll back to his office. There was much more to be done than clean up disastrous messes...
