Name: David (unknown to most people)
Alias: Solid Snake
Age: around his late 30's
Ranking: Anti-Hero
Physical Appearance:
Personality:
Snake has as strong feeling for fulfilling the missions he has been sent on. His loyalty is very strong, and even traitory can't change that.
He is honest, but can also be cruel at times, even though his heart tells him otherwise. His training has thought him to conceal his true emotions, and even in his private life he has a hard time showing them because of that.
He has no time for sitting around doing nothing while on a mission, as he is an action-driven man when it comes down to it.
However, inbetween missions, Snake loves to spend his time in solitude, giving him the rest he desperately needs at that time.
Powers/Abilities:
Snake has a large amount of stamina. He can fulfull the hardest tasks, even though it puts a huge strain on his body. He is also a tactical thinker, which makes him capable of forming his own 'one man army'
Has an IQ of 180, and speaks 6 languages fluently.
Equipment: Although he usually gets his weapon by POS (procuring on site0, he has a tranquilizer gun, as well as a silenced SOCOM
Psychological Flaws:
Due to his first real missions against Big Boss in Outer Heaven and Zanzibarland, Snake has developed PTSD, giving him flashbacks to his horrible past. The mission at Shadow Moses didn't really quite contribute to that in a good way.
Also, his private life isn't all that glamorous, since he gets screwed over more times than an average prostitute. His beloved ones are his greatest weakness as well, hence why he never lets anyone come near him.
Physical Flaws:
He's human, so he's damn mortal
Other Flaws: He smokes
Brief History:
Not much is known about the childhood of Snake. He joined the amry at a young age, and was beeing noticed by the orginazation known as Fox-Hound. They recruited him, and he received a top-class training.
He later received the rank of 'snake', explaining his codename. After killing of his former boss, who attempted to take over the world's army by using an advanced machine, known as 'Metal Gear', he retired. Several years later he had been brought back into the world of sneaking, and found out the man he killed long ago was his father.
After retiring from the FOX-HOUND special forces group, he moved to Alaska. One day he was beeing retreived, for one final mission. After meeting Liquid Snake, his brother, he was determinded to stop his plans, in which he succeeded.
Having escaped Shadow Moses Island, he then started an orginazation, known as 'Philantropy' , together with Otacon, a good friend of his. Together they fight to stop the mass production of Metal Gears everywhere.
Reason for being on AM: Family reunion
Sample RP:
With a heavy sigh Snake rolled over to his back, looking at the ceiling of some old beat up bunker. For the last couple of months this was the place he had to call home. The memories of the Big Shell incident were still fresh in his mind, and every now and then images popped up, mostly when he was asleep.
With a lot of effort, he pulled himself up, sitting at the edge of his bunk bed. For a change, he wore a beat up pair of pants, combined with a black sweater. His gear was locked in a locker not too far from him, but he didn’t seem to need it lately. For some strange reason, the rumours about any new types of Metal Gears had been quiet, and there was no news about any upcoming plans to make one. It was disturbing, as if a big threat was coming his way, showing itself when it would be too late.
At this time, Snake began to wonder where the hell Otacon went. The nerdy man was always derby, only gone for short moments of time. Snake stood up, and noticed it took much more effort than it did a couple of months ago. His muscles were unusually tenced, and Snake needed a lot more rest than he normally would. He just shrugged it off as some kind of afterburner of the Big Shell thing.
While walking around, he looked at the screens of the many supercomputers that were positioned right across his bed. They didn’t made any sense to him, but then again, nothing Otacon did was simple. Just as Snake turned on the light, that would light up the big concrete bunker, the hangar door opened, and the silhouette of Otacon stood in the doorway.
“Otacon, where the hell have you been?”
Snake asked with a gruff voice. He walked towards his comrade, and immediately noticed the nervous stance of the man.
“You’d better brought some good food with you, I’m getting tired of those noodles”
Otacon didn’t reply, and Snake raiden an eyebrow.
“What is it?”
He asked impatiently. Otacon straightened his trademark lab-coat, before looking Snake in the eyes. “Snake…I have to tell you something” From the manner of speaking, Snake knew this couldn’t be good.
“What is it?”
He repeated.
Otacon gestured for Snake to follow him, and walked outside again. It didn’t take long for Snake to see what was the reason for Otacon’s weird behaviour. The gusty wind of the Navada desert beat him in the face while leaving, making him squint his eyes. He only had taken a couple of steps, but he could see in the distance an old cargo-plane.
“Tell me you didn’t”
Snake spoke, almost yelled. Otacon nodded. “Yup, I did. She’s called the Nomad. I thought she’d come in handy for our missions to come”
“Missions to come?”
Otacon knew something Snake didn’t, but he had a susicion it wouldn’t take long before he knew what it was….
