Cbox Name: MantisPsycho
Nicknames: Elle, Mantie-poo
Main Account: Nyan-Cat (yes, it seems it has turned)
Who else do you play?: Mantis, GLaDOS, Solid Snake, Nyan-Cat
How did you find us?: meep
Category: Movies (Stardust)
Name: (not revealed in the movie, so I'll just call him) Henry
Alias: Captain Shakespeare
Age: unknown, he looks like he;s in his late 40's
Ranking: Civilian
Physical Appearance:
he looks suspiciously like Robert DeNiro
Personality:
Shakespeare is a fruity all the way. (Meaning he's gay)
He loves to dress up in pretty dresses and wear make-up, and adores everything that has to do with fashion, hair and romantic novels.
In that light, he is very kind-hearted, and helps people where he can. But, as explained below, he has to keep this side of him to an absolute minimum.
However, since he's a captain with a fearsome reputation, he has to put up an act in front of people that still believe in it. He's known to be fearless, manly and someone that kills anyone just for not greeting him the right way. His crew now knows about his more 'feminine' side, and already accepted it before he came out with it.
With people he knows well, he acts like his own fairy self, but to strangers, he's the dark and grim sky-captain.
Powers/Abilities:
Captain Shakespeare is very talented when it comes to swordfighting. He learned it from his father when he was a little boy.
He's also a good at haggling to get the best prices for whatever he's selling.
Shakespeare can also play the piano, and is an expert in hairdressing.
Since Captain Shakespeare was born in Stormhold, he doesn't age as quickly as anyone on the non-magical world. He could easily be 80, but still looks like he's 40
Equipment:
Shakespear never goes out without his trusty sword
Psychological Flaws:
Shakespeare's biggest flaw is that he has to live with the constant burden of keeping his real identity from the world. It might pop up every now and again, which might reveal this side.
Physical Flaws:
He has the body of a 40 year old. Since he's still very fit for his age, it doesn't bother him, but at times it might prove a problem
Other Flaws:
Brief History:
The only son of the legendary Captain Ghostmaker, he dreamed of England, the world across the Wall, but was bound to become a notorious pirate because of his heritage. After visiting England secretly, he became a Captain, taking the name 'Shakespeare', after the legendary British wordsmith.
One day, whilst illegally using his vessel to collect lightning, Shakespeare caught Tristan Thorne and Yvaine in his nets. To keep up his reputation, Shakespeare acted as a violent interrogator, who threw Tristan out of the porthole for insolence.
However, unbeknownst to his crew, Shakespeare was acting as host to the two hitchhikers after Tristan had stated that he was from England. The Captain revealed to them that he was, in fact, a transvestite who abhorred violence. He promised to drop the two off near the wall as soon as possible.
After stopping off to sell lightning to dodgy dealer Ferdy the Fence, Shakespeare introduced Tristan (who had been hiding in his cabin) to the crew as his 'fearsome buccaneer nephew'. The Captain played the host perfectly, teaching Tristan to fence and Yvaine to waltz, during which time he revealed that he knew Yvaine was in fact, a fallen star.
At the end of the journey, Shakespeare gave Tristan a container full of lightning as well as some whispered advice, before preparing to depart.
Before the vessel managed to depart, it was set upon by Prince Septimus and his men, who had killed Ferdy the Fence and were on the trail of Yvaine, who carried (unknowningly) the royal ruby of Stormhold. The men were killed, taking a large amount of Shapkespeare's crew with them, but not before Septimus had discovered the Captain, dressed in a pink dress and feather boa, twirling around his cabin.
The crew saw off the Prince, before revealing to their distraught Captain that they 'always knew you were a whoopsie'. Shakespeare later attended the coronation wedding of Yvaine to King Tristan, who he had told that his true love was right in front of his eyes.
After the wedding, the Captain realised he had to chase his own dreams. He crossed the wall, and began a life in his beloved England. He often travels around the world to see what is beyond, loving every moment of it.
