Smiling politely toward him as though to quietly tell him `thank you` in regards to his help. If it wasn't for him being so gosh darn cooperative, things would have taken A LOT longer and been so much more difficult so she certainly appreciated it. However, when it came up to him killing the demonic creature, she shut her eyes but maintained focus on the ice she was controlling all the same. It was hard watching anything die for the young lady and forcing herself to go through a psychological trip down crappy memory creek wasn't on the menu if she could avoid it. Slowly opening her eyes up once the deed was done, she let out a heavy sigh of relief and dropped her hands to her sides as the ice began to melt. Not only from her slip of control, but also the fact that their opponent was trying to light itself on fire...for...whatever reason. Starring at the corpse as it was starting to become a pile of crispy ash, a slight frown crossed her lips.
Something deep in her memories was trying to scratch itself out of suppression as her strange translucent eyes locked onto the corpse. It was like gawking at a horrible accident, the corpses were mangled and the mess was pure tragedy...why stare at it when it causes nothing but sorrow when all you can do is look away? Why didn't she look away? Reaching up to her forehead with her left hand, she closed her eyes and held back the tears....why was that such a disturbing sight?! Something awful happened linked to murder of some kind long ago is all she was genuinely aware of and maybe whatever memory that was hidden away wanted her to come to terms with it? Accept it and move on, maybe? Whatever it was she was suppressing was the core reason this Agent was oh so careful about using her powers at full throttle.
Thankfully, before it could continue to plague her and initiate a complete mental meltdown of the ages, she snapped out of it with the sound of Castiel's voice and...he...didn't sound happy. Opening up her eyes once more, she calmly tilted her head toward him and kept her gaze locked onto him. Lowering her hand a bit so it was now resting upon her cheek, she could tell he was FAR from pleased with her asking him to destroy the dirty dishes. The metaphorical dishes being a demonic little imp, of course!
"...I...um...w-well...something terrible happened...I...can't murder anything....it's just not in my nature...even when I should by logical standards...it...it isn't my place to decide who should die anyway. Th-think about it, Mr. Castiel...wh-what position am I in to pick who or what no longer has the right to live...? Plus...I'm too stupid to make such an important choice, don't you think? ...a-and...I can't reverse it if I were to make a mistake. You...um...erm...seem to be better suited for this sort of judgement. Oh...whoops...babbling again.....umm...I'm sorry for being such a burden and leaving such dirty work to you. There...really wasn't any other way though...was there...? You know...to handle...that..uh...demon scum once and for all..." Actually seeming a bit troubled by all this and OBVIOUSLY NERVOUS, as though her chillax composure decided to hide away somewhere for the time being.
If there were other ways to handle this though, it would have been rather bothersome to say the least that someone could so much as jump to kill a living creature rather than a less DEATH INFESTED route. Even if it was a very dangerous little thing...did it really deserve to have its life cut down and obliterated? Then again, her boss and co-workers had lectured her about being a moron thinking that there was a chance to fix someone or something that was intentionally broken. Besides...this guy really seemed to be a bit more aware about how dangerous these things were and such. More so when he reminded her of the guy he rescued. Slapping both hands on her cheeks, she let out a soft gasp and mumbled out, "I do...but most will think it's a joke...and...that I don't know what I'm talking about...because most of them are in shock that I still know how to breathe....that won't stop me from trying to make an effort though..."
Dropping her hands down to her sides after blurting out those disappointed words and rummaging her pockets. Taking out a cellphone, she quickly brought it up a bit so she could see the screen with ease and began texting some of her contacts about this situation. Not long after that, she got a couple messages confirming that they'd send help soon. As for the others? An assortment of `LOL!!! U culdn't figer oot wut needz halp lyk dat.` sort of messages...and to that specific message she told them `I may not be very smart, but at least I can spell properly. I'm also not an inconsiderate asshole like yourself when an innocent person is in danger. Sorry to have bothered you though. ^^ Thank you for your time. -Agent Popsicle`
Crouching down onto the floor, she shoved the phone in her pocket and began unbuckling the little belt around her wrist to tug off the glove. Giving her phone glove and buckle company, Agent Popsicle then moved her hand on over the man's forehead. Not touching it, but having it hover about a centimeter or two above his skin. This way she could use herself as an instant ice pack. Sure, she couldn't heal him up and hadn't a clue what was going on with him on the inside to know whether or not this was gonna actually HELP. But hey, that was no reason not to at least try! "I've got someone on their way here, Mr. Castiel...however...it would be for the best if I wait for a moment until they get here. If you want to go ahead without me...um...I understand and I'll catch up with you. I just...feel like it's irresponsible to abandon this innocent person...more so knowing he could be hurt physically and psychologically..." Saying those words calmly as though to give off an undertone of `everything is going to be alright` despite the content of her words, she even donated a slight smile to the moment of mellow optimism box for her new found ally.

Her response was not one that Castiel exactly expected. He listened intently all the same, though, watching her seriously as she spoke. It seemed that Agent Popsicle wasn't physically incapable of killing anyone, that wasn't the problem - but mentally and emotionally, she'd put up some sort of block against it because of...something that had happened to her. He quirked his head slightly to one side, wondering what that something could be...but even Cas realized that this was a very personal thing to ask of someone you'd only just met, and so this time he held his tongue. On some level, it was actually shockingly insightful...how she told him that it wasn't her place to decide who lived and who died. Though demonic creatures were hardly deserving of any mercy from her in Castiel's own opinion, the fact that she could not bring herself to harm others so horribly, while taking him aback a bit, also stirred some level of respect from him. It was an inconvenience, yes. But...it said a lot about her character.
"Killing a living creature, whether it deserves it or not, can be a difficult thing to do - and it is your own choice to make. I did not mean to challenge that. Next time, I will keep what you have told me in mind." Castiel told her with a small nod after a moment of thought, hoping his words would at least do something to reassure her. More puzzling to him was her seeming complete lack of confidence in herself. Popsicle kept referring to herself as stupid and incompetent, when he himself hadn't really noticed her to be either. Cas...wasn't quite sure how to respond to this, so he tried to think of what the Winchesters - much better versed in social situations than he - would do in his place. Dean would probably just...say something insensitive, then maybe offer to buy her some form of alcohol. Sam...Sam wouldn't allow this moment to pass without offering up a few kind words. And that seemed, to Castiel at least, to be the right thing to do here.
So when Agent Popsicle responded that she'd contact her accomplices - but that they'd probably assume it was some kind of joke on her part - the angel cleared his throat and finally spoke up again as she took out her phone. "Is it because of them that you think so lowly of yourself?" he asked uncertainly. He didn't bother to question her texting - he really...didn't know much about cell phones at all, but as he understood it one could also use them to send written messages. Investigating further would just be...confusing, and he had something else on his mind at the moment anyway. He wasn't sure if Agent Popsicle's perception of herself was something she'd developed on her own or not, but at any rate he could guess that her co-workers' opinion of her certainly didn't help things any. "I haven't known you for anywhere near as long a time as your co-workers have....but I do not think you are stupid." Castiel added slowly. He was just sort of going with the honesty thing here - and he wasn't sure whether he was saying the right thing, or whether he was helping here - but words weren't exactly...his thing.
"Perhaps it is them who should not be taken seriously, if their automatic assumption is that you are joking about someone being injured...meaning no offense to any of them, of course. Not knowing them, I cannot judge them." he added the last part quickly. For all he knew he could be talking about some of Agent Popsicle's friends here, after all...though, while Cas didn't know much of friendship, these people didn't sound like very good friends if that was the case. With a faint shrug, he allowed the matter to drop for the moment - at least assistance was on its way, in whatever form it took. Meanwhile, Agent Popsicle seemed to be trying to tend to the man as best she could. Castiel watched curiously, considering the possibility that cooling temperatures actually could help this man's condition - psychological shock often induced physical stress on the body, after all, and what she was doing now could very well help with that.
But when she offered to allow him to go ahead without her, he shook his head firmly. "We are..." he tried to think of the term Dean used when they'd been pretending to be FBI agents, "partners, if only for the moment. I will stay here with you until you see this man to safety." They were, after all, allies now, and Castiel didn't intend to leave her behind in the middle of all of this. While they lingered in the alley, though, the slight possibility that more demons might stumble across them still remained...so the angel lifted his gaze to the mouth of the alleyway, intending to keep watch until the help they were waiting for arrived.

Being the King of the Goblins was never actually an interesting job. It was horribly boring at best and excruciating at worst. Having to lead about an army of tiny green things was boring and Jareth usually longed for something better than that. Thankfully he had an entire other dimension to toy with when he wanted to. Random events that Earth would have {such as 'Monster Truck Rallies'} were the perfect things to use for having a bit of fun. After all, so many people didn't know the chant to having goblins take people away and those who do know it are far too 'mature' to use it. So, Jareth had to go to Earth and cause a bit of madness to keep himself amused. For instance, bringing Monster Trucks to life and allowing them to run rampant through the place. A bit of destruction wasn't a bad thing in Jareth's mind. Most other people {and the authorities} considered it a bad thing. Thankfully Jareth had made their weapons ridiculously heavy so they couldn't attack him.
Despite his mischievous nature, Jareth was not about to suddenly go about killing people for no reasons. He wasn't murderous like those crazy humans he heard so much about. Instead, Jareth was actually fascinated with humans. Their reactions to things and the way they did things were just interesting to him. Even though he himself once was a human, those days were long gone and Jareth had forgotten everything about humanity. Sitting on the announcer's chair in the Monster Truck rally, Jareth watched as the people ran about attempting to get away from the trucks. It certainly was intense... and amusing. Smirk on his face, Jareth chuckled slightly. Interesting that they wouldn't just leave instead of hiding. A few of them were even trying to stop the trucks. Sensing two approaching presences, Jareth narrowed his eyes and summoned two "demons" near them.
There were so many types of demon this world had to offer. The kind he summoned would be the ones the approaching angel would be most familiar with. The goblin king put his hands together and summoned a Crystal between them. With that crystal he watched the two's approach. At the moment they were in a simply alleyway facing off against demons. How drab. Jareth suddenly amplified the noise of the rally, hoping to attract their attention. What fun would this be if not for a few opponents in his way?

At least this Castiel fellow was very thoughtful, or at least she thought so! Though...she couldn't help but frown a bit when he insinuated that it may very well be her co-workers at fault for being so hard on herself. "They're just being honest..." Softly piping out those words under her breath in a calm fashion, she let out a little sigh and wondered if it really was them or not. Really, Popsicle here was the one who implanted it in her mind that she was a big ol' moron. Even picked a name to match then chocked it up to being forgetful when people asked for her real name or simply said it was confidential. At least appearing like an idiot worked...everyone was agreeing save for the man she was working with at this time.
Apparently, he wasn't buying it and trying to help out with gaining a sense of self esteem. It didn't seem like he was pulling lies up and out of the randomizer and truly thought her co-workers needed an attitude adjustment. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't...but he had a point. They, of all people, really shouldn't think she was joking about an injured person! At a loss of words for now, she looked down at the one who was gradually recovering and was in deep thought wondering if she should try to convince him she was a major moron or not bother trying too hard with that endeavor. ...it was alright having at least one person have confidence in her even if she, herself, was sure she wasn't quite that bright all the time. Keeping her hand hovered over his forehead, she was a little surprised at the next bundle of words though!
Normally, even if she was working with someone who wasn't being like `OHMIGAHDWHYAREYOUSOSTOOPEHD?`, they wouldn't hesitate to go and check on things. This guy though? It was more reason for him to stay and make sure everything was alright. The team up was probably temporary though...it was best not to get too comfortable with this partnership. Smiling a bit, she calmly spoke in a gentle tone, "Fair enough, Mister Casitel. My contact should be here soon." Right as rain, her contact was in fact close and definitely in the area...so they would be able to get back to work soon enough!
...but before the helpful agent could get there, what struck Popsicle's ears filled her with a lot of concern. Screams and the sound of...mechanical...roaring...? Oh...oh no no no no no no and a million times no! Monster trucks were really monsters?! WELL...this was definitely a predicament! "...I..think...um...we need a change of plans..." Glancing up toward her partner with a slight frown, she continued speaking while continuing to remain calm.
Yet, there was a strong sense of concern lacing her tone. "Please, Mr. Castiel, I'll be alright on my own here....help those people...we...don't need more innocents to get hurt or worse...die..." Shifting her gaze toward the streets, she wanted to get up and run to help out but nope...Agent Popsicle decided it was better to stick around until her fellow Agent showed up to help this very vulnerable victim first! "You...trust your partner...right...?" Almost pleadingly, she turned her attention right on back to Mr. I got a tie that needs straightening and fixing up. Though her rather strange eyes were hidden by sapphire lenses, it was easy to tell she was worried about what was going on back at the rally...and even wondering if he was going to start doubting her like some of those fabulous co-workers. Despite how she absolutely refused to budge right this instant.

A very tall, very white top hat with pink and purple ribbons swayed the the gentle breed that blew. Atop one of the buildings that formed the alleyway, sitting on the edge of the rooftop, Mephisto looked on. He was sipping a cup of tea, watching the events below unfold. Beside him was a bright pink thing that resembled a large bat. Curiously, it had a long tail that was shaped like a triple-scoop ice cream cone. It chirruped at its master and the Exorcist gave it a cursory glance.
"Yes, she is very interesting... It appears I have a new toy to play with." Mephisto smiled devilishly. He did so enjoy playing in Assiah, it was his favorite past-time. As he continued enjoying his tea, the demon contemplated the one who called herself 'Agent Popsicle.' He'd never before seen a human such as her, if she was truly a human. As Mephisto, too, heard the echo of panicking mortals, he slowly stood and reached out with his arm, throwing the tea cup aside. His batty friend flew onto his arm and Mephisto gripped his tail. The pink bat took to the sky, taking the Preceptor with it. "What do you say, shall we keep watching?" Mephisto looked to the bat with a mischievous smile. It chirruped and pulled Mephisto higher into the sky.
"Yes, I fully agree."

What was this? Castiel could have sworn that commotion at the rally hadn't been nearly as loud as it was now a moment ago - of course, it was possible that they'd just been too distracted by the whole demon fiasco to really take notice of it. But it was certainly noticeable now, the screams that were audible clearly communicating fear and, in some cases, pain. It seemed that he hadn't been so far off after all when he'd interpreted the whole 'monster truck' thing literally.Something was severely wrong here, and if it wasn't quickly attended to...the damage could be irreversible. When people got hurt, after all, there was no going back. Conflicted, the angel cast an uncertain glance back toward Agent Popsicle. His attempts to convince her that her co-workers were wrong about her would have to continue later, it seemed.
But...would it really be alright to leave her here? Despite her reassurances that it would, Castiel couldn't help but feel a flicker of doubt. Despite the fact that they'd only met recently, and that they might not encounter each other again after this, Agent Popsicle was his partner - leaving her here felt...disloyal, in a way. It when against his instincts. At the same time, however, he knew she was right: they could not allow anyone to die if either of them had the opportunity to stop it. And while she might refuse to actually kill anyone, he'd already seen that Popsicle was more than capable of handling herself. Most importantly, she was asking him to trust her own this...so he finally nodded. "...I will go. If only to prevent these...creatures from hurting anyone else. Should you need me for any reason, simply call my name...I'll be able to hear you." He shifted a bit, still rather unaccustomed to divulging his angelic abilities. But really...there was no point of hiding anything now.
With one last careful glance around the alley, he added, "Be careful." That probably went without saying - yet there was something about this alley that was still making Castiel a tad...uneasy. He couldn't quite discern whether or not the demonic aura that lingered here was the result of the demons they'd just gotten rid of, or whether greater threats lurked nearby...but he didn't like it. Hopefully Agent Popsicle's contact would get here quickly, and she'd be able to leave this place...not that the monster truck rally promised to be any safer...
Castiel fixed his gave on the ice-manipulating woman for a moment longer, giving her one last careful nod...before, true to angel fashion, he disappeared on the spot. There was little more than a slight breeze and a brief flickering of the stadium lights as he reappeared at the rally - and was immediately greeted with pure chaos. No one even stopped to notice that a man in a trenchcoat had just quite literally appeared out of thin air; they were far too preoccupied with the enormous trucks that were...currently trying to run them down. Cas just...blinked. CLEARLY THIS WAS SRS BSNS. Truth be told, he wasn't all together certain that he was capable of stopping these large, mechanical vehicles - tossing them around or making them spin out of control could potentially hurt someone else. Actually, Agent Popsicle's talents would probably prove to be more effective in a situation like this - so he'd need to keep everyone safe until she got there.
Watching a child of eleven or twelve scamper out in front of the wheels of one of the oncoming trucks in a desperate sprint towards the exit, Castiel narrowed his eyes slightly...and sent the boy telekinetically flying backwards and well out of the way, making sure he landed safely on his feet - albeit a bit shaken up. But this would do no good; he couldn't very well stand here saving everyone, one by one. This place needed to be properly evacuated, and quickly. He swept his gaze across the scene, and then paused. Not too far away, in a seat situated behind a microphone, there sat a man that...most certainly didn't look normal by human standards. Not only that, but he was very calm in contrast to the panic going on around him - amused, actually, as he continued to look on. Well. If anything, that was an excellent place to start.
In an instant, the angel had appeared behind the man's chair. "You," Castiel addressed him in a slight growl, radiating suspicion. "Do you have something to do with this?"
((THIS POST IS AWK. My writing is just so...choppy today, sorriez Dx. Anyway, figured I'd leave Mephy to play with Popsicle for a bit, then we can pull 'em all together somehow later~))

As much fun as it was tormenting an angel and whatever strange popsicle creature he was being aided by, Jareth had expected some further intervention. Strangely enough, it was some sort of demon, and seemingly a powerful one at that. Probably nothing too threatening to the Goblin King, if threatening at all. Jareth brought his golden, jewel-encrusted goblet to his lips and drank from it. This was beginning to grow boring - and if there was anything Jareth despised it was boredom. Then he spotted the angel, who was aiding people in the arena. Almost as soon as Jareth spotted him, he spotted Jareth. Then he was gone. Confused for a moment, Jareth soon sensed another presence behind him. It was, as he had expected it to be, the angel.
The Goblin King stood and, with a flick of his wrist, made the goblet in his hand disappear. Giving the angel a mischievous smirk, Jareth nodded. "Yes, I did." He said, his voice oddly casual for someone who'd just revealed that he'd ruined an entire stadium out of nothing but boredom. The Goblin King took a glance at the angel. He hardly looked like an angel. He looked slightly disheveled, nothing that Jareth would wear. Then again, Jareth was rarely seen in anything other than his usual, mystical-looking clothes. "I do hope we won't have to be hostile about this..."

Offering a final, thoughtful smile to Castiel and a slight nod to let him know she got the information he was trying to convey. If worse came to worse, she'd call on him and POOF! He'd be there! Not sure how that worked, but her line of work taught her that there were creatures and even meta-humans in this world that could be capable of such feats. In fact, he confirmed that POOF theory by vanishing into thin air soon after telling her to be careful. Hm...well at least it was now TRULY SAFE TO SAY that Castiel was far from being a normal human being. Keeping her hand over the man's forehead, she tried to use her natural, excessive chilly flesh and bone to help keep him in comfort.
Besides, it was better than someone like him in an air conditioned room due to how her particular chill at this time didn't make the air annoyingly dry and cause sinus problems. As if this poor man didn't have enough problems. Sitting there for a few minutes, diligently sitting there like a duck or something, that's when her contact who was a young man with reddish brown hair and a blue suit complete with top hat rushed over from right around the corner. There was also a strange girl with short, dusty blonde hair wearing a pair of shackles following behind him. Though she seemed a little young, she looked like a maid, but seemed to have a little carrot on her gloves and bonnet-like hat with plenty of frills. "Agent Popsicle! Oh gosh, I would have been here sooner...but I had to deal with some of the escapees! I'm going to be in more trouble than you for trying to have a tea party again..."
Following that up with a nervous laugh, he took off his hat and motioned it over the man who was preciously possessed by a demonic little creature. His smile became fang filled and cheshire-cat like while speaking up with chipper optimism. "Ah ha! I got the coordinates for the hospital! We'll give them a surprise visit and see you later, keep out of too much trouble!" The girl behind him kept her distance, but didn't have much of an expression to share, plus it almost seemed like she went completely unacknowledged. Agent Popsicle batted her lashes out of confusion as the young man set his hat down, expanding it so he could fit both himself and the injured man inside. Scooping him up like a fallen bride, the other Agent quickly stepped on in and the girl who was following him jumped in right after while her shackles seemed to be having a huge complaining frenzy.
Watching the hat go ala POOF, she...was always a bit confused by Agent Wonderland....but...he had a tendency to be one of the few who'd come to her aid. Slowly bringing up her hand to scratch her cheek, she wondered about the escapees and couldn't help but consider that the maid girl may have been one. Oh well, she was an idiot and that was a silly hunch! Getting up to her feet, there was one thing she knew and that was the man would be safe now! Huh....but there was something bothering her as she was about to rush on over to Castiel's side to make sure he and the civilians were alright. Was someone watching her? That weird feeling there were a pair of eyes watching her....guh...it was a little unnerving.
Okay QUITE unnerving! "Um...is...anyone there?" Piping out those words calm as can be, she glanced around then...decided to look up and get distracted by the clouds for a moment. Waaaaiiiiit....was there something up there? THEN FROM THE SHADOWS, a lurking little imp jumped up and clung onto the back of her head. BLINK. BLINK. Went the Agent Popsicle as she reached behind her with the glove & buckle-less hand and began freezing the little critter as she pulled it into view. The creature looked more than shocked upon this CHILLY happenstance.
Giving it a long, hard stare as though it was a disobedient dog, she slightly tilt her head to the side which seemed to finish off the freezing process for this particular critter. Whatever moisture it contained within and around the air close to its form was now ice that merged with its body quick as can be. Using the special branch of ice that had the ability to keep something frozen and vitals alright, she had no intention of killing it at all. Regardless of how it probably wanted her dead or something. Setting down the critter with a slight frown, she...really should go back to helping Castiel. So with a turn on her heel, the icy Agent was going to get back to helping her current partner to make sure he was alright. Unless of course there was someone or something that wished to stop the Agent and slow her down even more.

Mephisto watched on as the man calling himself Castiel vanished into thin air. And he continued to view his favorite movie, called Life, as another man turned the corner to take the place of the disappearing angel. High in the sky, Mephisto looked down at the sight of the man taking the hapless victim into his hat. Oh, could it be~? Could there possibly be more stupendous creatures such as this Popsicle and hat-man? The pink demon will definitely have to investigate! Turning his gaze skyward, Sir Pheles frowned at the clouds moving overhead as they darkened the world with their gloominess. Was it going to rain? Mephisto hadn't seen umbrella weather for quite some time, now. Perhaps he should be prepared...
His mind made up, Mephisto began to gently glide down, down, down to the ground. As he did, he happened to sway with gently shifts in wind currents, quite comically so. His batty friend having trouble flying definitely indicated less-than-nominal weather. His feet made contact with the cement of the sidewalk and the pink bat in his hand transformed into a very puffy, pink umbrella. Glancing at the frozen demon behind the chilly Agent, Mephisto snapped his fingers. Immediately, pink-tinted smoke engulfed the impy creature as the son of Satan banished it back to Gehenna. Forcing more of his will about the area so as no other interruptions from lesser demons occurred, Pheles swiftly turned his full attention to Agent Popsicle.
"Ah~! Hello, there!" Giving Popsicle a very deep bow at the waist, the demon gave her a slow and steady smile. His pointed teeth gleamed as he continued with his introductions. "My name is Sir Mephisto Pheles, Preceptor of True Cross Academy, Japanese Branch! 'Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I must say, I rather enjoyed the little show you put on." The Preceptor twirled his umbrella a few times before smacking its tip against the pavement and lightly leaning on its ice cream handle. His emerald green eyes, slitted as they were, gave Agent Popsicle a piercing stare, as if he could peer into her very being.

For awhile, Castiel just...stared at the man, taking in the fact that this was the being responsible for all of this. He was not a demon, that much the angel could sense - yet he did seem to have control over certain demons, or at least the ability to summon them. On top of the magical abilities he seemed to have (his goblet had vanished into thin air) and the clothes he was wearing, he most certainly fell into the category of 'non-human mystical beings'. The only problem was...Castiel couldn't figure out what kind of being he was. The angel was fairly certain that he'd never encountered something like this in his very long life, and that alone was enough to make him even more cautious. There was no telling what would happen here, what else this man was capable of...but until Agent Popsicle arrived, Castiel would have to deal with this on his own. Which meant getting this man to cease these shenanigans sooner rather than later.
And why was he so casual about the whole thing, like he was doing nothing more harmful than having a tea party? (At least...Castiel had heard that tea parties were harmless. He'd never actually attended one) The angel's brow furrowed in utter disapproval, his frown grim. "If you truly wish to avoid conflict," he began slowly in his even-less-amused-than usual growl. "Then stop this madness now." To emphasize his point, Castiel cast another glance out to where the monster trucks still roared and crashed around, causing more chaos than one might've even thought possible in such a small area. What was the purpose of all this? How could anyone sit here and find this sort of thing amusing? Or was it all part of some greater plot this man had? So far, Castiel was finding it difficult to connect the dots.
If Dean and Sam had been there, they probably would have started roughing the man up a bit by this point - jumping right into conflict. But Castiel was more prudent; he thought more thoroughly before he acted and was more careful to consider the consequences of engaging in conflict before doing so. Never the less, it was with a firm-jawed scowl that he sized the man up and demanded, "Why have you done this? People have already been injured - some of them may die if this keeps up." Cas sort of doubted that this man would be at all concerned for the safety of these civilians - if that had been the case, all of this never would have started in the first place. Still, he wanted to hear an explanation - if there was even an explanation to give.

This serious, somber man was the exact opposite of people Jareth considered his 'friends'. That was probably good for him, since Jareth's 'friends' were usually his playthings that got thrown into his Labyrinth and probably turned into goblins eventually. "That would ruin the fun, wouldn't it?" the Goblin King asked, summoning a thin cane to his hand. It was completely unnecessary, but appearance was one of the many things Jareth had to worry about when having these little encounters with people. After all, he was a King. He couldn't just appear in normal clothing, not that he'd ever worn a scrap of 'normal' clothing in his life. In his opinion, the clothes the people of Earth wore were rather silly. Who would ever want to wear pants so loose?
The answer to Castiel's question was actually rather simple. The Goblin King had very little fun nowadays. So few people even knew of the words which could bring him to them to grant them a wish. Wishes usually ended in pain for the wisher, but fun for Jareth. After all, getting reactions from humans was one of the many things he even came down to Earth for. They really were a silly people. Jareth loved them for it. And did Castiel honestly believe that Jareth cared if a few people were injured? The Goblin King had better things to spend time on than the well-being of humans, particularly those who came to see shows that really only gave the amusement of loud noise and big vehicles. It was the equivalent of dangling keys over a small child.
"And you expect that to make a difference to me?" Jareth asked, giving the man a smirk. "It seems to me that introductions are in order." The Goblin King said, suddenly realizing that he hadn't yet introduced himself to the man... and that the man hadn't introduced himself. "I am Jareth, the Goblin King. You are...?"

Yet another distraction seemed to be advancing in a super close horizon! A...very pink one at that....and the entrance was amusing rather than all kinds of graceful. The closer and closer this new visitor came, the more she could see that his fashion reminded her oh so much of a favorite designer. Staring off, calm as can be, she kept her eyes on that bat who seemed to have all the issues in trying to provide a more graceful landing. While bringing her left hand up to adjust her shades, she offered a slight smile and slightly bowed her head as to provide a quiet little greeting. Any other agent would probably flip out at how suspicious he looked and what have you but her? NAH! To her, he was probably a quirky fashionista with a bat umbrella thing!
Something she wanted to know though was what this fellow had his attention on. Quirking a brow ever so slightly, she WONDERED what oh what could actually be so neat to put the pause on a hello! Turning her head juuuust a bit so her peripherals gould get a glimpse. Er...that's right...the little demon critter she handled was locked away in ice, forced to freeze due to bad behavior. Before she even knew it though, it POOFED into pink smoke! Oooo, was he a...fashion magician?! ``Ah~! Hello, there!`` prompted her to look directly back at the fellow who looked like he was dressed in a bundle of white and pink happiness complete with a guest appearance of purple. "Good, um, day."
Calmly saying those words as polite as can be, she figured it would be the proper thing to do. Whether or not there was more to the flamboyant fellow providing her with a gentlemanly bow, that isn't something she'd concern herself with right away. Mostly because he wasn't acting malicious at all. Oooh his smile had evidence of pointy teeth! Yeah, that wasn't enough to worry her, ESPECIALLY because he seemed to prefer ice cream over devouring random people. Good thing she wasn't made of ice cream or something crazy like that! Anyway, she was a little surprised at the mention of a fancy school because he looked more like a fancy magician!
Wait...show? What show? When did she put on a show? Cause protecting people couldn't POSSIBLY be taken as any form of entertainment, no not at all....okay that was a big ol' lie...but she didn't think that qualified as a show. "Oh...well it is nice to meet you as well, Sir Mephisto Pheles. I was simply doing my job, nothing more than that..." Such chilled out words were underlined with kindness as though she sincerely hadn't been doing anything to be show offy.
"In fact, this area is very...um...well...dangerous...perhaps I should escort you to safety...?" It was easy to see...and hear that she was genuinely concerned about this Mephisto Pheles guy's safety. Despite the fact he could EASILY defend himself, one could never be too sure!
