Physical Appearance:

In terms of build GIR is very similar to the average SIR unit. He has a small body which is colored entirely in silver, legs that seem to be independent of his body, two short arms and a large head. Many of the details on most average SIR are different on GIR. For instance his eyes, arm and hand connectors and chest screen are colored teal instead of the average red. He also has a mouth, which is strange for SIR units. His mouth, which appears small, can open to be incredibly large.

When out in the human world GIR wears a green dog suit with black arms and legs. The eyes on the dog suit are not in focus and it has a clearly fake tongue sticking out as well as the giant zipper in the front. Still, it seems to fool people... He will also occasionally wear a child disguise that has a disturbingly bulbous head, orange hair and a tiny body. This disguise is equally horrible, but it still seems to fool people.

Personality:

GIR's personality is erratic and crazy. He is very hyperactive and is almost always bouncing around screaming nonsense. His favorite things to scream about are usually types of food, particularly waffles or tacos. He has a great love of food of any sort, particularly junk food. He has shown no aversion to healthy foods, but he seems to enjoy Earth snacks more than anything else. GIR is almost always happy, but he is clearly most happy when he has a plate of waffles or a taco in front of him. He has been known to get somewhat violent when he's hungry and has no food to eat.

Oddly enough GIR has his moments where he makes perfect sense, usually when it comes to Zim's crazy plans. He seems to be perfectly aware that Zim's plans are bad, but he doesn't point it out too often. That being said, GIR also has moments where he goes into "serious mode" and obeys Zim's orders like a proper SIR unit would. When this happens his eyes and other luminous parts go red. Serious mode is never permanent. It sometimes lasts for only a few seconds before GIR is distracted by something shiny... or a taco.

Unlike Zim, GIR seems to love Earth and it's culture. He has been shown going to Earth parties and dancing with the Earthlings. Most of all he loves Earth food, particularly tacos, burritos, cake, taquitos, biscuits... the list goes on. It seems to be mostly foods that are used for snacks or aren't considered good for you. GIR also loves watching human televison, particularly the Scary Monkey Show and his favorite movie Intestines of War.

Powers/Abilities:

Hammerspace: GIR seems to have a hammerspace... inside of his head. In there he stores food and various other items. It is possible this hammerspace is limited as he claims he had to remove a GPS in order to make room for a cupcake. It is also possible it's limitless as he's been shown to have a whole pile of rubber piggies in his head.

SIR Abilities: Even though he is a very dysfunctional SIR, GIR has all the abilities of one. This means he can shoot lasers from his eyes, use rocket booster feet to fly around and use x-ray vision. He also has a variety of random weapons that pop out of his head, usually strange variations of laser beams. He rarely uses his weapons, though.

Equipment:

Dog Suit: His Earthling disguise. It is described in the appearance section. Whenever he's wearing this suit nobody seems to be able to see through his disguise no matter how glaringly obvious it is that it's a fake.

Weaknesses

Psychological Flaws:

CRAAAAZAAAAY: GIR is completely crazy, which annoys many people. He seems to enjoy shouting about random things at random moments. Nobody quite knows how to deal with GIR.

Physical Flaws:

There are very few physical flaws GIR has. He's small, so it's possible to kick him around (at risk of your foot getting hurt from the metal).
