They watched her follow and sighed as after that they just shock their heads but kept walking. They were confused by her but just shrugged that off for now. Ax just walked after his friends confused and unsure. They all thought Anya was crazy but Ax had some respect for her as well as he saw her like him which made him feel bad for her too even so he agreed with his friends but still. He felt terribly bad for her as he hoped that she won't think that they were going to hurt her as they weren't. Also he wasn't sure that they should tell her everything but also he didn't think that they should hide things from her either so he just said nothing.
When the next thing happened they all watched Anya and sighed as she looked and acted absurd but Ax wasn't sure why or how so he said nothing. "Because we never gave you a reason to think that, you just assume things because you think everything must be the way you think which isn't true. Actually we did but you dismissed it. If we wanted to hurt you then why haven't we already? We didn't have to talk to you but we did. We had more then one chance to kill you but did we? No, so there you go" Rachel replied as everyone agreed including Ax. "What the hell you are on about? We made a conversation with you. Then we figured that to get to know each other we could go get pizza. How can that be a reason to distrust someone? If we stared at you and threatened you then yes but we didn't. Also we warned you but because we care not anything else. Excuse us that we are good people not bad. We didn't force you, we offered you to come and you came. Did we hold you to a gun point? No, so there" Rachel said as they all including Ax agreed again. Here and there Tobias and Ax left somewhere then came back as they made sure not to stuck in their human morphs more then two hours or two hours at all. But they also made sure that no one saw them do that.
They walked out of the restaurant then headed back the way they came from as here and there they made sure that she was fine and that she followed. They noticed her stick next to Ax as they all watched that confused and surprised. Ax was confused and surprised by that too. Ax wondered what was up with her and if she was fine or not just as the others wondered as well. They looked round then back at her as did Ax.
They kept getting away from the pizza place ad closer to where they met Anya at as well as closer to their hotel. "S..ssssomewhee SSSSafe" was all that Ax said even so he said it rather weird. The others looked between Ax and Anya and sighed then they looked forward again. It took a bit of time but eventually they got in to a hotel room as they led Anya inside then to the Elevator then to their floor. Here and there they made sure she followed.

Lifting her chin to peer over Alex's shoulder, Anya shot Rachel a pointed glare. The other blonde, it seemed, had just about had enough of Anya's jittery oddness. The hostile attitude puzzled her briefly, but the demon did not allow herself to linger on it for more than a moment. Being the subject of someone's irritation wasn't exactly a new concept where she was concerned, and under most circumstances she hardly cared what others thought of her. No, it was the scathing, slightly haughty edge to Rachel's words that provoked Anya in turn. Ugh! Of all the rude, obnoxious little.....Dawn was never this mouthy! Was she? As soon as the girl had finished rebuking her and had turned her back once more, Anya released a contemptuous huff of a sigh and stuck her tongue out childishly...because that was just about as far as she went when it came to vengeance these days.
Despite her rising indignance, however, she couldn't help but be taken aback by Rachel's last words: "Did we hold you to a gun point? No, so there." It was a figure of speech, just a sarcastic way of making a point...and it was one that went right over Anya's head. Immediately she indulged in her tendency to take almost everything literally. Furrowing her brow in a puzzled frown, she shook her head. "I never accused you of holding me at gun point. That's ridiculous. There are numerous gun laws in place in this city to keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of underage adolescents who, even if only months under the required age, are clearly too young to properly judge whether or not a situation demands that they should put a bullet in someone's head..." She prattled on obliviously for awhile, and had just been getting ready to smugly sidebar onto the point that a gun wouldn't be much use against her anyway, when...she finally realized that she was getting completely off-topic.
"Well that's just great. Now I can't remember any of the angry, argumentative comments I was going to use against you.." Anya rolled her eyes and scoffed. She had been going to give Rachel a very extensive rant about how the fact that they'd never openly tried to attack her didn't mean anything; that oftentimes the most terrifying enemies played nice at first...but then she'd been distracted by the gun thing, and now she was all flustered and confused and...hmph, whatever. They'd just about reached the hotel by this point, anyway. For it turned out that was where they'd been leading her - back to their hotel room. Alex had assured her that this place was "safe", but...Anya still wasn't so sure. It could have been worse, she supposed, but common sense and her lack of trust for these individuals (with the possible exception of Alex) told her to maintain her wariness a little longer.
Anya actually managed to keep quiet as the group led her up to their room, keeping herself busy by throwing suspicious glares at anyone they happened to pass on the way. When they finally reached the room, the vengeance demon paused only a moment before following them inside. There was no going back now...she'd wanted to investigate, and now she was getting her chance...
"Well? Where's this 'proof'?" she demanded after a moment, still glancing around the hotel room as if she expected something to leap out at her from the shadows.

They looked at Anya then kept on walking. They all thought that Anya was rather weird which made them less sure about the whole thing. However they decided to ignore that part about her. It was much easier that way. They couldn't get Anya nor her behavior. It was like Anya believed that she knew their type and what not, which in fact she didn't. They wished she got them more instead of treating them the way she treated them.It was like the woman cared for no one but herself which was rude. It was like saying one thing and she hears it the way she wanted to hear it, actually it was exactly that way.
Rachel glared at Anya in her last comment and sighed as dud the others. They couldn't believe that Anya kept hearing things the way she wanted not getting the fact at all. It pissed them off but they decided to ignore that for now. They figured that it was how it was going to be even if they hoped that it wasn't so. In fact they were sure that it was just how crazy Anya was. They watched her reaction and sighed. "Yeah but you act like that, which isn't right. Since we asked you to come with us you started acting like we are holding you in a gun point which isn't kind at all. Is it? No it isn't because you act like we are holding you in a gun point even so we don't. You don't get nothing do you? If we were evil gang which we are not but if we were then we wouldn't care about laws and carry guns anyways but we don't. Most teens and younger as well as older do carry guns even are all before they are old enough. Haven't you heard? in cases like this they shoot who they want but not us so" They sighed and shocked their heads as she was acting completely insane and crazy.
"You are strange person. You get pissed for no real reason which is insane and very crazy. You seriously need help" they watched her and shock their heads. They really thought that she needed help no matter what. They wondered what was up with Anya. True there were all kinds of criminals but they weren't evil so. They had nothing to hide but to keep themselves and others safe from their enemies, that was all. When they got to the hotel room then turn to look at her then headed to their room. They hoped that she will apologize to them but they weren't going to force her nor hold their breath. Ax and the others just sighed as they headed into their room.
They noticed the looks she gave the people they passed by and sighed as they shock their heads. She acted crazy almost like they all were evil plotting against her which was ridiculous and stupid. They ignored that so. They wondered what made her so weird and crazy as well as paranoid.
They all but Ax lifted an eyebrow at Anya as she demanded them to show her a proof. They sighed as after a while of hesitation Tobias morphed back in to his hawk's body and Ax morphed back in to his andalite body. After that they took a deep breath they showed her the box that gave them their powers. Well them except of Ax who already had that power.

Like a sulky six-year-old, Anya scowled slightly as she was further scolded for her behavior. She 'got pissed for no real reason'? The blonde opened her mouth to argue, but then it got even better. They thought she 'seriously needed help'?! Gritting her teeth together in frustration, she lowered her seething gaze to the ground. Here were more people who expected her to change her behavior to adhere to their expectations of normalcy. She scoffed defiantly at this, her normally warm brown eyes currently chilled with indignation. "Need help to do what? Behave more like you do? Hah...no thanks! I'm not going to change just to please you...that would be...peer pressure, or something!" The vengeance demon shook her head vehemently as she took a seat at the foot of the hotel bed and fell silent in favor of watching the group expectantly. But even Anya, the eleven-hundred year old demon who'd been through hell and back, was not prepared for what she was about to see...
Right before her eyes, the boy called Tobias began to...well, the only word she could think of to describe it was morph. Anya froze, her hands clenching around the bedsheets as she bore witness to the little show. Tobias was quickly starting to...well, no longer look like Tobias. He was growing feathers, for one thing. And...and a beak! Dumbfounded, the demon could do nothing but gape as the transformation was completed, and the boy took the form of...of...
"Oh my god! I knew it! I-it's an invasion! Of...of hawk-people!" Anya yelped hysterically, nearly falling backwards on the bed. Her gaze finally tore away from what she could only assume was Tobias, darting across the room to where Alex had just been standing...except that he wasn't...Alex anymore. She'd been so transfixed by Tobias's little demonstration that she'd actually missed the transformation of the Canadian boy into a huge, furry, blue horse-scorpion...thing!! As far as terrifying creatures went, Anya had encountered plenty of demons who were much more horrific in comparison...but the fact that she'd never seen anything like this, that she hadn't even the faintest clue of what Alex was or what was going on here was really starting to freak her out.
"W-what?! What the...." She squeaked slightly as the others approached her carrying some strange kind of box. Instinctively shying away from the foreign object, the vengeance demon lifted her bewildered gaze to meet Alex's...or, one of his gazes anyway. She wasn't really sure whether it was appropriate to look at the eyes on his face, or the pair on stalks above his head...
...But needless to say, Anya certainly believed them now. "How did you...but...what...what is going on here?! I thought you said you FOUGHT aliens! But...but you are aliens! O-or he is, anyway..." She glanced uneasily at Alex again, her gaze fixing on the deadly looking tailblade that hovered over his back.
Great, Anya. Just great. You've really done it this time. When are you going to realize that curiosity killed the cat?!

They watched her and sighed, they couldn't believe the way she acted. That was so crazy and insane, she definitely needed some mental help that was for sure. The more time passed the more crazier Anya became, even so they could tell that she didn't notice that. Which was no surprise as not all crazy people actually noticed that. They knew that they weren't perfect but they acted better then her, Except Ax but he was a different story all together. Every passing minute it looked like Anya got pissed for no real reason even so she seemed to believe that she had all reasons in the world too but it wasn't true. Anya seemed to see things her way instead of understanding the truth and they couldn't stand that at all. Even so they knew others like her but that was beside the point. As they thought all of it they just watched her and sighed. They wondered why was she acting the way she did whenever they never will did anything bad to her. They watched her reaction to what Rachel said and shock their heads, except Ax who just looked between them. They wished that she stopped treating them like the way she treated them as it was stupid and wrong. They hoped that sooner or later she would stop acting the way she did. "Will you stop that? You are acting like we are your enemies but we are not. You need to help stop acting so crazy and rude. Even we act better then you but no we don't ask you to be like us just nicer is all. We never did anything to you but you decide that we did something cruel to you and treat us horribly, can you not do that? Like, ever again/ It's annoying. We just wanna be your friends but you don't get it, do you? See? you keep hearing things we don't even say! Do you always see things the way you want instead o the truth? That way you won;t gain real friends unless you behave more like an adult and be much nicer. Not that you care, do you?" Rachel said and sighed. They watched her and sighed. All that was good enough reason for them to reconsider but being nice they agreed to forgive her and move on. Also they knew that not many would but they were different so.
They watched between her and Tobias and sighed. They wondered what was going to happen next, as in they wondered what would she do or say next. They were however prepared for everything that might end up happening. Or at least they hoped that they were anyway. They noticed her reaction and sighed. They were not surprised that she was shocked or scared but they hoped that she won't try to attack them as they weren't in the mood for it. Also her reaction did confirm even more that she wasn't a controller. Which was definitely a plus no matter what.
"Will you chill? We are not a hawk people. It is an invasion we told you but we are not the reason for it so. Tobias is just stuck in a hawk body that is all. He used to be human while we all are humans. Except Ax who you know s Alex, he is a good guy. An andalite. Tobias is what Andalites call a Nothlit. Someone who were in a morph more then two hours. He by luck got allowed to get the morphing power back" Rachel said as they all rolled their eyes at Anya. They all watched her and sighed. They all followed her gaze towards Ax and sighed. "That is Ax, the andalite" Rachel explained. They saw that she was freaked out and sighed as they shock their heads. They felt bad for her so they tried to cheer her up in any way they could. They didn't want to freak her out at all it just happened. "We are not your enemies, we can promise you that the yeerks are" Cassie said.
They watched her closely as they walked over to her holding the box. They heard reaction and sighed to that. They noticed her back away and sighed as they watched her look at Ax. "It's not dangerous unless you touch it then you will get the morphing power. Only that is how we all can morph to anything we want, except objects. It's our only way to fight the real invasion." Jake explained. "Don't worry about Ax, if you are not an enemy like a controller and such then you are safe. We can tell you aren't though which means you are safe" Cassie said.
They watched her and sighed. They were sure that now she finally believed them. "Only Ax is but he is the good alien, the yeerks aren't. We fight aliens with the morphing power. It's our only way. We wait for the andalites to come and help us. We use the morphing power to be came any animal so we could sneak on the yeerks and find their secrets and get rid of them once and more all. Right now we are looking for all the help we can get because we can't do it alone. When today when we met we stared at some spots and areas before the controllers were near by but here they are not so it is rather safe here" Jake said to her. "If you wanna join us in getting rid of the yeerks then touch the box and you will get same power as we. Don't worry we will teach you how to use it" Rachel said. They looked between her and Ax.
Hello Ax said in Anya's head and everyone's head but it was mostly directed at Anya. That's Ax man for you Tobias said in the heads of everyone's including Anya's but it was mostly directed towards Anya only. "When in mouthless morph or in a morph that can't speak we use thought speak to communicate" Cassie explained as the others nodded in agreement.

As the group of teens offered her their explanation, Anya remained rigidly perched on the end of the bed. She didn't move, didn't even blink as she took in everything they told her and tried to make sense of it all. Andalites...yeerks? It all seemed so impossible, that there were whole other worlds out there. How had she been alive for a thousand years and never even known about them? For a long moment, the vengeance demon was silent, her gaze lowering to the ground as she became lost in thought. This was almost overwhelming; they were throwing so much information at her at once...and yet, would it really be that difficult to accept it? After all the creatures she'd met, all the threats against the world she faced...how could much even surprise her any more?
She shook her head as if to clear her thoughts, and as some of her shock faded, she was slowly becoming more aware of the familiar return of earnest curiosity. Looking back up to the andalite she'd formally known as Alex the boy - now Ax the alien - Anya took a brief, calming breath. And then actually smiled. "Well...that explains it!" she exclaimed suddenly, a fleeting spark of mischievousness visible in her light brown eyes. "All that weird stuff...and when we first met, I asked you where your home was, and you pointed at the sky! Why didn't I see it before?" Now that the stunning effects of witnessing the morph had faded, the demon quickly seemed to be accepting the existence of these new creatures. Lightly springing off the bed, Anya promptly turned and slowly took a few steps closer to Ax. Cautious but curious, she stopped a few feet away from him, surveyed him quietly for a moment, and then allowed her smile to return.
"These 'yeerks'," Anya said abruptly, turning to the rest of the group. It had just occurred to her that this group had just filled her in on a potentially planet-threatening force...and perhaps it was a good idea to be a little bit concerned. "What do they look like? How do they control people?" Mind-controlling killer aliens was still a concept she was finding difficult to separate from the safely fictitious walls of science fiction movies, but if this threat was as real as they claimed, she was going to have to know how to identify it. Of course, it wasn't like Anya had much hope of identifying these 'controllers' if they were any good at their jobs. She could hardly identify normal human behavior as it was!
The vengeance demon was just beginning to ponder what this might mean when Rachel made her an offer on behalf of the group: touch the box, and become one of them. Fight alongside them. Anya's eyes widened slightly as her gaze fixed upon the box. She was slowly beginning to accept this, true...but she wasn't quite sure she was ready for all of that! But before she could respond, her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by...well, what sounded like Ax's voice.
Hello.
Anya startled slightly, whipping around to stare at the andalite again. Had he just...spoken to her telepathically? If there was any doubt that she'd imagined it, that doubt was quickly erased when Tobias's thought-voice followed. This time, the blonde wasn't taken quite as violently by surprise, and her reaction was a little calmer as she turned a curious stare on the hawk. Thought-speak, they called it. Hmm...she could accept that. "Like telepathy." the demon mused aloud. She'd had plenty of encounters with telepathy before; Nara had used it, and Willow, and a number of telepathically-enhanced demons she'd run into over the centuries. Compared to the shock of discovering the existence of numerous alien races, the whole thought-speak thing really wasn't such a big deal.
But now there was their offer to consider. Anya wasn't going to lie (did she ever?), the thought of sharing their abilities...kind of freaked her out. She wasn't even sure what these yeerk-people were capable of, and if she ever went up against them...well, she trusted her own demonic abilities more than some animal's. And there was another thing to consider: she was a demon. Not a human, not an alien...what if the box's powers worked differently on her? Could she really afford to risk some kind of freakish side effect that might result if the morphing magic and her demonic magic intermingled?
After taking a moment to compose herself, Anya cleared her throat and turned to Rachel. "Thank you for the offer. I can't say I find the idea of morphing into animals to risk my life to fight killer-aliens to be particularly appealing...but still, thank you. I think. " She paused for a moment, fidgeting a bit awkwardly, and then turned to address the rest of the group. "But I don't think it's such a good idea. There must be some kind of biological traits required. You know it works on andalites, and humans, and...and hawks. But I'm not..." ...any of those things, Anya finished silently, unable to get this last part out. To be fair, these people had just entrusted her with their most well-kept secret...did she really have any right to continue to hide her own identity?
The thing was, 'aliens' and 'demons' were two very different concepts. And very different connotations went with them. When most people thought of aliens, their reactions were pretty much up in the air...they could be anything from skeptical, to frightened, to perfectly accepting. Their was no set stereotype that aliens had to be evil, after all. But demons...when most people thought of demons, it was pretty safe to say that most reactions pretty much remained unvaried from: "GO BACK TO HELL WHERE YOU BELONG, YOU EVIL FREAKS!" ...followed by torches and pitchforks and lots of mob-chasing. And knowing what these kids were and what they could do, Anya wasn't sure if she could afford to have all of them attacking her...

They watched her closely as they told her everything that they did. They watched her reaction and sighed as they couldn't imagine what she might have been thinking but they guessed it was in away like they react when they found out. Except for Ax who knew that all his life but then again his people fought the yeerks longer and his people were andalites so it wasn't new at all. It was still new and shocking so even to them, not to Ax since he got the chance to get used to that. It was so strange that once they thought it was only on TV things such as this were possible and yet one day it all just changed.
They all watched her closely once more after they exchanged looks. They all knew that it was to much to take as it was the same for them at first too but not anymore as they were rather used to that by now. However, they knew it would take her long to get used to the situation which wasn't surprising to them at all. As Anya Smiled Ax smiled back, well with his eyes as he had no mouth after all. They all laughed at her reaction and Ax too. "It sure does" Jake said to her. "Well not anyone can tell that he is from there. Not when he is in his human morph. His brother gave us our powers. He is Tobias's uncle by the way. It all took us a long time to accept believe me" Jake said as the others nodded in agreement except Ax. They watched her do that as Ax would over to her slowly too, as he didn't want to scare her or anything like that. Tobias just flew around the room.
They listened to her say the next and sighed. It looked like Anya went back on topic which wasn't surprising at all. Sooner or later they knew that it would happen. They expected it. They little ugly slugs. They get in threw your ear and tie themselves around your brain and became one of you. You just sit inside you and watch hopelessly as they move you around and do what they want with you and your body. You can't do nothing but watch hopelessly. Your voice and body isn't yours anymore but theirs and it hurts like hell. I was one but I got saved. We starved the yeerk in my head so he left me and died. They can't leave without a host and without candrona raiys."Jack said as all looked at him then back at Anya. They looked around then back at her. "Anyone under their control is called a controller. human or alien a like" Rachel said.
They exchanged looked as they looked at her again and then Rachel made her the offer as they agreed with that. After all if Anya wasn't an enemy then they might as well recruit her. I t was better them then the yeerks that was for sure. They knew it was hard choice but as far as they were concerned it was the only way to fight the yeerks to survive but then again it was all they truly knew. If they knew other ways then no doubt they would have offered other ideas too but so far they had none, which that was the exact problem. Besides even if she liked it or not she was still part of the fight. After all no one offered them to take part in the fight only part in defending earth, which was the same thing with Anya and they hoped that she knew that.
When Ax spoke in their minds and Anya's as they all looked at him then at her. They watched her look at Ax and then at Tobias as he spoke. They all looked at Tobias too s they listened to her and the reaction she had to the thought speak and laughed a little. "It is that, exactly only we call it thought speak but you can call it telepathy if you rather. It's the same thing just also a bit different" Rachel said. "It's fun as you can direct it to everyone or to a specific person. Depends on the person or people you wish to speak with" Cassie said.
They watched her and sighed as they hoped that she agreed. They really did need all the help that they could get. The more help the better that was for sure. They wanted to win and so far they couldn't really win because they were only 6 and there wee definitely a lots of enemies. They believed that they could win one day but it surely would take them a long time. Which they surely didn't have at all. They were scared but they weren't going to give up ever, yet that didn't change the fact that they needed help. Anyway, they waited for her reaction curiously.
"It's OK but just so you know you are part of it you like it or not because like us you leave on earth. None of us choose this it happened but we were offered the chance to fight back and we agreed. We now offer you the same chance. The plus is that you can morph back then to a different animal if and when you are hurt. If you morph back to your real form then back to the same animal or other then you won't have a wound at all. However, like everything else it is risky too." Rachel said. "The bad thing is you will become a nothlit like Tobias if you sty in a morph over 2 hours" she added as they nodded in agreement then sighed as they waited for her to reply to that. They wanted her to know all that so that she could know that they were completely honest with her and didn't hide anythiing from her.
They all but Ax looked down then back at her. Ax's eyes that were on antennas looked around the room then back at her. The other pair of eyes looked down then back at her too. Then they all looked back at her and sighed. They hoped that they didn't scare her but they knew that they had to be honest with her either way which they definitely were. They understood her fear very well as they were scared too. It was completely normal to fear. It didn't make them think that she was crazy. They only would think that if they had no other choice but so far they had which was why they didn't call her crazy. In cases like they if she counted as crazy then so did they, definitely.

Just when she'd almost begun to accept this whole alien thing, Jake threw in a whole 'nother spoonful of crazy with his grim description of these 'yeerk' creatures. A chill of disgust ran down the vengeance demon's spine; why did it have to be slugs of all things? Well, it was better than a tribe of evil alien bunny-rabbits at least, but still! Anya wasn't sure she could handle the fact that she'd have to add slimy, otherworldly body snatchers to her long list of critters to watch out for, but she couldn't deny that this group had a point. Now that she knew about all of this, what was she supposed to do? Just stand by and watch the human population slowly but surely lose all of their free will? Not if she had anything to say about it...she'd risked far too much on behalf of this silly human race to allow a bunch of alien freaks to steal their lives away.
"Great," Anya muttered under her breath, folding her arms across her chest. "As if I needed something else to worry about. First vampires, then zombies, and now aliens! If there are any other potentially apocalyptic threats to the human race you haven't mentioned yet, you should probably speak up now." she advised them. Sarcastically speaking, of course...she wasn't sure she could take hearing about one more all-powerful force of darkness. Really, it was a wonder that these six had managed to fight their secret war as long as they had. Were Earth's animals really so effective against an advanced race of aliens? Studying each of them in turn, the demon narrowed her eyes slightly. She was starting to realize that this was a group of humans (plus one andalite) who fought not because the odds told them they could win, but because they had something worth fighting for. And they were brave enough to stand for it. If there was anything that truly gained the normally flighty blonde's attention and respect, it was that.
"Okay," Anya said at length, her voice softening a little. "Let's say, for a moment, that I can help you. What's your plan? If you've been fighting these...these things for this long, you must have some sort of strategy. How exactly to you plan on kickin' these slug-freaks off our planet?" If this invasion was as large-scale as Jake had suggested, it sounded like getting rid of the yeerks once and for all was going to be very difficult. Especially when their enemies could be anyone, while their own forces currently consisted of...what? Four humans, an andalite, a hawk, and a vengeance demon? Anya couldn't help but think rather pessimistically of the whole affair, despite the admiration she had for this group for keeping up their fight this long.
What she needed to know now was exactly what the yeerks were capable of. How far they would go to destroy those who opposed them, what kind of weapons they used and how they'd match up with her own demonic power...and whether or not this gang had a plan in place that actually had a shot at working. It wasn't often for Anya to think this tactically; in fact the last time she had was back when the Scoobies were preparing to face off against the First Evil, and she and Andrew had been put in charge of teaching the potentials their battle plans. The fact that she seemed to be analyzing this so carefully now suggesting that she was finally considering the possibility that these yeerks might pose an actual threat.
And yet, even if she agreed to help these people, she knew that in the end she would only be able to offer so much assistance. Wasting no time in voicing this thought, Anya cleared her throat suddenly. "I can't leave New York, though. ..Not for very long, anyway." New York City was no hell-mouth; despite the variety of unique individuals popping up here it still didn't touch Sunnydale's day-to-day level of supernatural activity. And yet, things did go down here, and there was no denying that the city was a major target for anyone looking to kill a whole bunch of humans at once. No, New York was Anya's best shot at redemption - and she didn't plan on abandoning it any time soon. Of course if it came down to it, she could always teleport to wherever this lot needed her...but she'd clear up her limits on joining their ranks before mentioning that.

When Jake added more information it wasn't to gross her out but to let her know what they all faced against. It grossed them all out but they thought that she needed to know all the truth before it gets to let. They wanted her on their side to fight against the yeerks and the controllers in general. "Humans are not the only ones who are controller, other aliens too, hork bajir and others a like, including one andalite. Some host are volunteers, while others got taken over against their will."Jake pointed out then looked at Marco who looked away. The others looked at Marco then they all looked back at Anya. "Marco's mom is Visser one and the andalite controller we told you about is Visser three" Jake added as Marco looked down. The others looked at him upset then back at Anya. "My brother Tom is a controller and a lots of more people are" Jake said to her. Visser three killed my brother Elphangor and Tobias's father Ax said in their heads, including in Anya's.
They exchanged looks then looked back at her and sighed. They listened to her not saying anything else for now. That is all the information you need to know. Other then you can't trust everyone, just certain people. Also there are many places where yeerks meet to feed and such. Have you heard of the sharing? Whatever you do, don't ever go there. Ever, it's their front to gather more hosts Tobias said in their hands and it included in Anya's head too. They knew that she was sarcastic but they were serious as they nodded in agreement to what Tobias said in their heads, which was basically a thought speak. They hated the war and weren't sure they had the chance to win but fought because they didn't want to give up hope.
"Well We follow a controller and find out what they are hiding. Then go back to our hiding place and plan our next move then we attack them from the inside. It's not the best plans ever but it's the only ones we got. We do get hurt and trapped at times but we get out of it and survive. It's the only thing we can do until the andalites will come to help us. We do put a stop to some of their plans and a lots of times we push them back. There is a certain food they can't stand so, which we use against them" Jake said as the others nodded in agreement. They knew that it wasn't the bestest plan but it really was the only one they had.
They looked around then back at her and sighed. They were considering how to explain to her how powerful the enemies were. "They got mother ships you wouldn't believe and they are deadly, they got weapons you won't be able to imagine" Rachel said as everyone looked at her then back at Anya and nodded in agreement. "Hork Bajir and the other alien species are scary and deadly. And huge too" Rachel added. They all shrugged and sighed and looked rather terrified, Other then Tobias and Ax as with them it's hard to tell.
They looked down then back at her and nodded to her in understanding. "It's fine, we are not leaving either. We are going to fight from here, actually as there are a lots of controllers here too. We plan to check on our home town once in a while but mostly we are staying here so" Jake said as the others nodded in agreement. "We came here to find more people to fight by our side as let's face it, we need more help and we can't keep people safe unless we know they are fighting on our side. We don't have to much chances but still. We are still staying here as we hope that maybe here we could find something, anything that can weaken them as well as more people to fight on our side." Jake added as the others nodded in agreement with her. "The power to morph isn't so bad so" Cassie said. "Just hurts at first" Rachel said.

She barely refrained from commenting on the Animorphs' description of the yeerk hierarchy, as well as the mention of the various alien races they'd enslaved. The way they went on, this whole thing sounded just a little bit...hopeless. Here they were, reminding her not to trust anyone too easily (when they'd only just rebuked her for not trusting them, mind), and more or less explaining that these yeerks were...everywhere. It didn't exactly promote positive thinking. Not that she was much concerned about these 'other aliens' - the 'Hork Bajir', or whatever they were called, had been described as 'deadly, scary, and huge' - all of which were traits that Anya was plenty familiar with when it came to monsters. But as of now, she was a bit more concerned with the thought of the human controllers. How, for Pete's sake, was she supposed to tell them apart from all the other crazy humans that roamed this world?
She shook her head; their supposed 'plan' wasn't much comfort either. "So it's a lot of...sneaking around?" Anya wanted to verify, recoiling a little at the thought. Subtlety was certainly not her area of expertise, and the idea of trying to keep a low profile amongst a bunch of killer aliens did not exactly appeal to her. "Um...well, I'll just help with the fighting part!" She could do that at least. Or maybe serve as some kind of distraction, if they needed her to. A few well-placed teleports and a magic spell or two, and she'd probably have some of those alien freaks niiiice and spooked. Well, depending on how limited their experience with demonic magic was...
"I have some friends who could help you, too." she suddenly added as an afterthought. If they were looking for recruits, she couldn't promise anything, but...as far as a fighting force, Buffy and Spike would certainly prove to be quite formidable. She'd have to remember to talk to them about it. "We do a lot of evil-fighting. It's kind of our thing." Shrugging simply, she vaguely wondered how much convincing it would take to get the Scoobies involved in something like this. Spike would probably jump right on in if it meant an opportunity for a good fight, but Buffy...Buffy might need time to reason it out a it more. Ah well, she'd worry about that later.
This had certainly been...a very...interesting day, Anya reflected as she cast a glance at Ax. And a long one, too. It would probably be best to head home soon, provided she exchanged contact means with this lot first. After all, she'd more or less agreed to help them, and a promise was a promise. However, the blonde reminded herself sharply, there was one thing she would need to take care of before she left. If this group was going to recruit her as an ally, it was probably best that they knew what they were getting into as well...even if it meant risking a potential freak-out on their parts. Prejudices against demons could be strong, as Anya knew very well. But given that this lot dealed with aliens on a regular basis...perhaps it wasn't ridiculous to hope that they'd end up being a bit more open-minded.
"Soooo," she mused innocently, rocking up and down slightly on her heels, her hands nervously clasped behind her back. "I get the feeling you guys don't like evil, body-snatching alien slugs...and who can blame you, really?" Starting to babble again now wasn't something she wanted to do, and so Anya quickly jerked her focus away from the yeerk tangent before she could go on for too long. She drew a breath. Okay. No reason to be worried about her little revelation. These humans were different...right?
Without answering her own silently pondered question, Anya quite abruptly disappeared from where she stood near Ax, teleporting and reappearing in moments just behind's Jake's shoulder.
"Um, but how do you feel about demons?"

Ax and the others looked at her closely as they were done explaining it all to her. It felt good to them to know that there was someone else they could trust. It was definitely about time that was for sure. They figured that it all worried her and if it did they weren’t too surprised about that. In fact they weren’t surprised by that at all. After they were worried about that too. However they still on fighting and hoped that she was going to join them but believed that she will, the only thing was they knew they couldn’t make her an animorph like them as it wasn’t allowed nor right. Not to mention too risky and it was enough that they took that risk, they didn’t want no one else to join them at that but she could still help them fight and they hoped that she knew that. Anyway, they exchanged looks then looked back at her. “Now you know it all” Jake said as AX stayed I his andelite form this time as it was easier for him. <Prince Jake is right> he said in their heads, and that included Anya’s head too. “Ax, how many times have I told you not to call me that?” Jake said and sighed. <Sorry prin…., Jake> Ax thought spoke to them all.
Jake sighed to that as they all looked at Anya and sighed as they told her about the plan and noticed her reaction. “Yes as it’s all we can do, fight then inside without them noticing, as we can’t do anything else. Oh and they got a group called the sharing but it’s their way to get more people to became hosts so. Whatever you do don’t join it ever.” Jake said as the others nodded in agreement including Ax. They then exchanged looks and after that they looked back at her “Alright that is good as that‘s all we need, because to do like us you will need to acquire a morphing ability lie us and we can‘t do that. So fighting it’s all it’s going to be anyway. However, anyway that we can get them worried and scared and such is fine with us” Jake said, Tobias by then morphed back to bird he was, since he was a nothlit after all.
“Really? Great, the more the better. So bring them: Jake said as the others agreed again, even Ax did. They then looked at each other once more, after that they looked back at her as they wondered who was she going to bring in. how many people they could get on their side the better. “Really? Evil things like what? Aliens too or what?” Marco asked as they all looked at him, including Ax then they all looked back at Anya waiting for a reply. They all wondered the same thing, even so the way Marco asked that sounded strange but they agreed with the questions itself so. As it was a good question, which surprised them a little as he didn’t usually asked that kind of good questions, even when he did it, it wasn’t a lot after all.
Anyway, they all then looked at Tobias who set on a bed behind Rachel, in his bird form and just watched them all. After that they all looked at Anya, as they wondered what was she thinking about, as well as when she wanted to start, and when would her friends want to start. They needed all the help they could get, especially since they came there to get more people on their side after all. The more people join them in the fight the better, because that way they would have more chance to win, which was definitely a plus no doubt about it. They had a feeling however that she wanted to tell them something and they wondered what it was, they hoped that it wasn’t something bad but they couldn’t be too sure so.
They watched her and listened as they were slightly confused by the way she started the sentence. As in they were confused by the ’sooo’ part. “No we don’t, do you? And not exactly body snatchers, they got in to you threw ears and such and control you but not like body snatchers exactly but close. And yeah no one can” Cassie said. “Jake’s brother and my cousin is a controller too” Rachel said as they all including Ax and Jake looked at her then back at Anya, as Jake sighed but they all still nodded in agreement. They were definitely confused by her mumbling. They understood her sort off but not too well so. It was hard to get her just as it was hard to get Ax.
They all watched her closely and when she did the next they all jumped then looked at her shocked and confused, as they tried to understand who she was and how did she do that. Then they listened as she spoke as they exchanged looks, and then looked back at her not sure what to say to her. They did understand her but were way too confused to react at all. They sighed and looked down for a few minutes, until Jake spoke again.
“We don’t know, we never met one before until now most likely, huh? After all you are one, don’t you?”
