[glow=red,2,300]DEFILERS[/glow]
Overview
Standing on six piston-driven limbs, the defiler's hull supports a massive turret, which houses the main armaments of the infernal machine. While Defilers are usually seen with large arrays of weapons, such as Reaper Autocannon and the Havoc Launcher, its main firepower comes in the form of a battle cannon. There are often variations of the weapon systems used; in some cases, Reaper Autocannons have been upgraded to house twin-linked heavy bolters or lascannons instead, whereas there have been sightings of Defilers with heavy flamers on multiple occasions.
Close combat
In addition of being able to lay down a barrage of heavy fire, Defilers are also terrifying close combat opponents. When a Defiler arrives on the battlefield, the magics keeping the bound daemon peaceful are released, allowing the daemon to truly enjoy the battle. As daemons are immortal and unconcerned for the survival of its machine host, Defilers ignore hits that would kill normal tank crews and continue on rampages of destruction that would otherwise be impossible to proceed with. Of its six limbs, Defilers use four for moving around and two arm-like appendages to crush enemies in their pincers.

Armaments
*Reaper Autocannon: Autocannon are similar in concept to twentieth century tank guns. They are rapid firing and use mass-reactive explosive ammunition. They are usually either mounted on weapon carriages or vehicles because of their great weight. Due to their high rate of fire and sufficient killing power, they are effective against medium infantry and light vehicles.
*Battlecannon: A slug-based turret big enough to fit a tank through shoots a shell the size of a cover-table into the ground making a very big hole. This is a very very scary weapon.
*Heavy Flamers: lamers are flamethrower weapons, capable of unleashing a liquid incendiary chemical that bursts into flames as it leaves the weapon. Similar flame-based weapons are used by several of the intelligent races and their militaries across the Milky Way Galaxy. Flamers are valued for their ability to destroy many enemies at once, regardless of any protective cover they possess. Both Flamers and the more compact Hand Flamers are considered assault weapons due to their relatively short range. Flamers fire a mix of highly volatile liquid chemicals which ignite with the use of a pilot light. The flaming chemical sticks to its target and continues burning on its own accord - those who are not killed instantly die horribly as the super-hot chemical continues to burn through their bodies. The most common flammable substance used as Flamer fuel is Promethium, which is a petroleum-like jelly that can stick to a target and is very similar to the twenty-first century incendiary called napalm. The flamer fires a burst of expanding flames, making the weapon effective at killing enemies in cover.
*Lascannon: The lascannon works in much the same way as the lasgun, albeit with significant differences in practical operation that derive from the massive increase in power. The Lascannon's beam produces a myriad of energetic side effects, including significant muzzle flash, more rarely seen in standard Lasguns, owing to the correspondingly greater power put into the laser emitter and consequent increase in plasma blooming. The beam is also incredibly brilliant, being purple or white in color; this is due primarily to the increase in ambient energy generating higher-energy plasma in the air. It should be noted that some Chaos Lascannons have been observed to fire blue-tinged bolts, which could be a combination of their age (most Chaos Lascannons date before the Horus Heresy, and are therefore slightly less technologically advanced) and wear and tear from thousands of years away from Imperium maintenance facilities, both of which would result in a beam of slightly lower energy density. Lastly, and perhaps most tactically significant, Lascannons require a far longer charging/cool down time than Lasguns, which relegates them to an anti-vehicular role in most armies.
*Havoc Launchers: Havoc Missile Launchers were the precursors of both the Cyclone Missile Launcher now used by Imperial Space Marine Terminators. Due to their size they were not man-portable, and restricted to use on vehicles. Since the escape by the Traitor Legions into the Eye of Terror, technology has advanced enough to allow the introduction of the Cyclone, but leaving the isolated Chaos Space Marines only able to use them on their vehicles and Dreadnoughts as the Imperial forces would use Hunter-Killer Missiles.
*Heavy Bolter: Bolter ammunition (a bolt) is primarily a solid slug. Conventional solid slugs utilize a propellant charge contained in a casing that, when ignited, forces the bullet out of the barrel. In contrast, a bolt is self-propelled; it features its own integrated solid propellant which propels the bolt at high speeds, essentially acting like a miniature rocket. The propellant itself is shaped to control the bolt's direction and speed; however, this method of rocket propulsion would normally warp the barrel due to gas pressure. The Bolter uses an ingenious method to prevent this. As well as the rocket propellant, a tiny amount of conventional charge is also utilized. This charge is just strong enough to force the bolt out of the barrel and ignite the bolt's propellant. The rocket-propellant is carefully fused to ignite just after leaving the barrel, alleviating any possibility of pressure build-up. The bolt then accelerates away towards the target under its own power.
The Heavy Bolter is a support weapon. Unlike the boltgun it is relatively common in Imperial Guard armies. It has a high rate of fire and they are relatively cheap to field. It is used on tanks and a variety of vehicles as an anti-personnel weapon as well as on fixed defenses. Due to its size and weight, in Imperial Guard infantry use it is operated by a two man team - either as a "Heavy Weapon Squad" where it is fitted to a mobile mount or alternatively it is carried by one trooper with another carrying the ammunition. Its role in an Imperial Guard unit is reminiscent of the WW2 era Browning .30 caliber machine gun, however it is much heavier. A Space Marine, being much stronger and having the advantage of power armor, can carry both the Heavy Bolter and its ammunition in a specially designed pack, that said Space Marine Scouts can also carry Heavy Bolters, this being especially useful when supplying extra fire support for sniper teams as it matches the sniper's range. In the Warhammer 40,000 world, the Heavy Bolter is the closest thing the Imperial Forces have to a squad level automatic weapon (LMG/SAW).
*Limbs: The Defilers has four heavy piston driven legs that each have a variety of very sharp objects on them. However, another more close-combat minded general would make use of the gun ports on a Defiler by removing the guns...and replacing them with pincer arms. A rather common tactic, Defilers are known to be able to crush buildings with their limbs...at the price of far lessened range-power
RHINO
Overview:[/u]
The Rhino Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) is a mainstay vehicle of the Adeptus Astartes. It has provided safe transportation since the days of the Great Crusade, transporting its cargo of Space Marines swiftly and safely to the forefront of battle. Robust and versatile, and able to resist the most hostile of environments, the Rhino has become the basic troop transport of Space Marine squads. It has also been used by other trusted branches of the Imperial armed forces, including the Adepta Sororitas' Sisters of Battle and the forces of the Inquisition...as well as the twisted hordes of Chaos.
Due to its STC roots, the Rhino can be built with any suitable locally available materials. Most Rhinos are constructed of a bonded ceramite layer over a cast plasteel hull, although others use composite carbon compounds or a conventional hardened steel, depending on their origins. A Rhino's engine is a work of genius. It is capable of running on almost any combustible material.
A Rhino is crewed by a single Space Marine driver who also controls the remotely operated Storm Bolter. In addition to this, a pintle-mounted Storm Bolter may be fixed to the APC's top hatch, which can be operated by an additional Space Marine serving as the gunner. All Space Marines inducted into an Astartes Chapter are trained to operate the Rhino as part of their training.
A Rhino is capable of carrying up to ten fully armoured Space Marines within its well-protected hull. It is probable that the Rhino is capable of carrying a greater number of normal humans, due to their smaller size compared to the mighty Space Marines. Access gained via four doors and hatches. Disembarkation can be achieved through the hydraulic rear ramp and two side doors. There is also a hatch on the top of the vehicle, which provides its passengers with an opening from which to fire their weapons. It also provides a quick escape in the event of catastrophic damage, or if the other doors are jammed.
The Rhino is powered by two Mark II Mars Pattern adaptable combustion engines. Each engine runs a dynamo, which in turn runs two electric motors (and recharges the engine's batteries). Each dynamo is attached to its engine using a power coupling, and is independent of the other engines. Should an engine be damaged in combat, there will be a reduction in the APC's speed but the other motor will continue to move the drive wheel.
The engines are fed by a fan-assisted air intake, providing the oxygen for the combustion chamber. Each engine has its own fuel tank, and an oxygen supply. This means that if there is no oxygen, or if the operating environment requires the air intakes to be sealed, the engines still have the oxygen they require.

*Storm Bolter: The Storm Bolter is a double-barreled version of the Bolter. As it is heavier and causes more recoil than a normal bolter, it is even more rarely used than the Bolter in an Imperial Guard army. Instead, they are usually used with Space Marine Terminators or as a tank's pintle-mounted weapon. They are also used by the Grey Knights as a gauntlet-mounted weapon with its feed mounted on the rear of their armor.
LAND RAIDER
Overview:
The standard configuration Land Raider is one of the most powerful main battle tanks in the Imperium's arsenal, armed with two twin-linked "Godhammer-pattern" lascannons mounted in side sponsons. A twin-linked heavy bolter is mounted on top of the tank providing anti-infantry fire. As with most Space Marine vehicles, it can also be armed with a pintle-mounted storm bolter and a single-shot hunter-killer missile. The Land Raider is supposedly the most heavily armoured vehicle available to any army smaller than a full Imperial Guard armoured company, and its armour is believed to be second only to the Necron Monolith. Particularly noteworthy is that the Land Raider's all-around thick armour has no weaknesses, unlike other tanks that often have thinner side and rear armour. Its protection, combined with its transport capacity (10 Space Marines in Power Armour or 5 Terminators), would make it a perfect mobile bunker, except for the lack of firing ports for the passengers. The Chaos Space Marines also have access to these powerful machines as they took with them countless numbers of these destructive behemoths following their defeat on Terra during the Horus Heresy. In the Eye of Terror, the Machine Spirit is destroyed and replaced with an Infernal Device containing the spirit of a daemon that performs similar functions.

VINDICATORS[/u]
Overview:[/u]
The hardy Vindicator is built almost exclusively for urban battles where enemies are concealed within reinforced positions, such as large buildings, sewers etc. The awesome demolisher cannon of the Vindicator is used to destroy strong points of the enemy troops, take away snipers and especially smash through thick walls for the marines to enter certain buildings. The assault dozer, on the other hand, is used to bulldoze through smaller obstacles in the rough terrain.
Gathered in large numbers, Vindicators can cause massive amount of damages on any building, if not demolishing it into rubble. The Vindicator carries a fairly large Demolisher Cannon, which launches rocket-assisted shells towards the target in high angles, producing ground-shattering strikes...however, urban battles are their strength for a reason, as their weak rear and side armor can easily be torn apart, in comparison with it's might front armor.

*Demolisher Cannon: The Demolisher cannon is a short-range, large-bore direct fire cannon mounted on various vehicles, but most commonly on the Baneblade super heavy tank, Leman Russ Demolisher and Space Marine Vindicator. Primarily designed with siege, urban, and bunker busting warfare in mind, the cannon has also been known to be of great use against enemy vehicles and infantry, destroying both with equal ease.2
Its destructive power is accomplished via use of large armour-penetrating shells, which explode milliseconds after impact. This slightly delayed blast renders all but the thickest of armour useless. Its explosive power is also tremendous, sending out large pieces of hot shrapnel as well as powerful concussive effects. To this end, it's been known for crews of Vindicator tanks to form "Line Breaker" squadrons and combine this mighty firepower into salvoes of three or more shots against one target, causing great destruction and flattening entire areas of terrain (as well as anyone unlucky enough to be inside it at the time)1
The Demolisher cannon's only main drawback comes at its short range compared to many other ordinance weapons. This forces tanks that use this weapon to advance dangerously close to the enemy, often in range of their anti-tank forces, instead of safely firing from long range or out of sight. Because of this, many tanks armed with one will also be equipped with extra armour and dozer blades or siege shields

LAND SPEEDERS[/u]
Overview:
Land Speeders are light anti-gravity vehicles, serving as the primary reconnaissance, scouting, resupply and fast attack vehicles of the Imperial Space Marine Chapters. Land Speeders are based on STC data recovered in M31, and afterwards became widely produced and used throughout the Imperium. Land Speeders were also originally used by the Imperial Guard, but since then the plasma and anti-gravity technologies required to use them have become increasingly rare, and so only extremely resource rich planets or organizations such as Ryza or the Space Marines can afford to create them. While they were discovered after the Horus Heresy, making it very difficult for Chaos to gain access to them, the Chaos Gods themselves have insured that, through their own mysterious ways, that the Chaos forces on Earth have ample access to them.

*Multi-Melta: Melta Weapons are heat-based weapons which work by sub-atomic agitation of the air. Targets on the receiving end are heated to the point of being vaporised. The effect on flesh is fearsome to say the least, while vehicles can be reduced to molten slag. Most melta weapons use highly pressurized pyrum-petrol gases with a two part injection system which forces the gases into a molecular state, which will vaporise just about anything. Unfortunately, due to the high power consumption and range dissipation, the weapon is only effective over very short distances, but anything caught in the blast is likely to be destroyed.
Although short-ranged and slow to fire, they are prized for their power against armoured vehicles. They are also considered a good alternative to plasma weapons, which are unreliable and capable of killing their user. Besides the roar of the explosive vaporising of the target's moisture, melta weapons themselves make little noise when firing. Given their fairly quiet and very effective nature, infiltrating parties make use of melta weapons to destroy enemy vehicles before they get a chance to fight on the battlefield.
The Multi-melta is a heavy version of the Meltagun that has multiple melta barrels. It is an ideal anti-tank weapon, especially at close range. It is a vicious and effective weapon, but lacks the range of other heavy weapons. In different sources, melta weapons are described as firing with either a blinding flash, and emitting a beam of light, or just projecting a nearly invisible beam of intense heat. Targets are just melted away - turning creatures into pools of steaming protoplasm and vehicles into twisted goo. No personal armor offers even scant protection from a multi-melta.[/center]
