With vibrant red hair falling beyond his waist, Grell's startlingly green eyes, outlined in honeysuckle yellow, peer through deep, red glasses with a beaded chain on either side of it; two silver skulls decorate both sides of the chain. Grell wears a typical butler's uniform with a few variations: topping his dress shirt and brown vest is a white-and-red-striped ribbon tied in bow-tie fashion. Hanging from his elbows is a bright red coat with a large, black bow tied at the back. Black gloves cover his hands and a pair of black-and-red shoes adorn his feet.
Personality: Grell is incredibly flamboyant and very girly. He considers himself a woman and often refers to himself as a "lady." Grell can often be arrogant and narcissistic, and usually annoys those he accompanies. Grell can sometimes be quick to anger, especially if insulted or the other would "dare disgrace a lady of [his] stature." He can also be very witty and clever, though sometimes ditzy. Grell rarely gives assistance in situations that give no benefit to himself. Grell has a tendency to develop a crush for men he finds attractive and also tends to tease and taunt an opposing party if said person also fits into the former category.
Powers/Abilities: Grell is agile and an unpredictable fighter. He is skilled in using a Death Scythe and has experience in using other shinigami utensils.
Equipment:
Death Scythe; a tool shinigami use to reap the souls of the To-Die list, they usually are in the form of gardening equipment. Grell illegally customized his Death Scythe for a more personal fit and his now resembles a chainsaw. Death Scythes are able to cut through almost any material.
Psychological Flaws: Grell does not have many psychological flaws other than the fact that he tends to become a bit obsessive and overbearing when it comes to his crushes. He is disposed to harass his "victims" in situations such as those.
Physical Flaws: Though he finds himself perfect, Grell has below-average physique for a male. He is more commonly seen as femme, and truly likes to act like it; rarely doing things such as heavy lifting or any lifting at all for that matter.

Brief History: Grell first interned in the Shinigami Dispatch Society before becoming a full shinigami with high marks on almost all his exams. Grell encountered Madame Red as she was murdering one of her victims and became her butler to assist her in further crimes. The pair became known throughout Europe as Jack the Ripper. When Madame Red showed "weakness" and refused to kill her nephew, Grell, instead, killed her. In the ensuing fight between demon-butler and rogue-shinigami, Grell lost and was apprehended by his Supervisor, a shinigami of superior rank. Grell was demoted from his custom Death Scythe to those that resemble safety scissors. Grell again met with Madame Red's nephew, Ciel, and assisted him and his butler in finding the culprit of recent crimes.
Grell later happened upon Alois, an unusual soul that was listed to die, yet whose soul was uncollectable. Grell watched as events panned out and helped Sebastian plot to regain the ex-butler's master. After Ciel and Sebastian's reunion, Grell was tasked with investigating an abnormal phenomenon wherein souls on the To-Die list were vanishing without a trace. Grell soon found himself in an incredibly vast multi-verse.
Reason for being on AM: To investigate an abnormal phenomenon occurring to souls on the To-Die list.
Sample RP: In a downtown district, behind a local alleyway, a lone figure stepped from the shadows. Splattered from head to toe in the color of red, the young shinigami swept his long, red hair back and peered about him. This was a most unusual place and he had no idea where he was. The figure stepped out of the alleyway and gazed first down the street to his left, and then again to his right. The place was completely deserted.
The shinigami suddenly pulled a book out from nowhere. Looking inside, he found the next soul scheduled to die. Tucking the To-Die list away, Grell Sutcliff went out into the world anew. He sashayed slowly down the street as, behind him, the darkness rippled.
