{STOP! IT'S NOTE TIME! -> If you're signed up for the SITCOM! Plot, feel free to post in here :3 we'll be treating it much like an episode of a show. SO! If you have questions or anything, check out the thread right on over here and drop your inquiries off so I can help ya out! Gabe won't really be showing up until later <3 All I'll be doing is cuing location, scene, and commercial transitions unless I request someone else to do so >u< LET'S MAKE THIS FUN AND SITCOMY, GUYS!}
Making a good show requires an interesting cast...or at least so it can be somewhat amusing. There were a handful of individuals this so called Trickster noticed needed some valuable life lessons! What better way to do that than gather them all up and force these folks to act out a sitcom chock full of moral lessons?! Such was the choice he made while gathering a few candidates and snapping them into a place of his creation, a pocket alternate reality they'd...most likely....remember after all this was done! With the set ready and adjusting his director's hat while sitting in the crowd behind their fourth wall. Twitching his upper lip ever so slightly to give his mustache curled up at the ends a wiggle of brilliance. Smirking in thought while he gave the various locations that were going to be used in "Family Dysfunctionality!", all of it looked real as could be.
Hell, it WAS real and fully tangible since the place was created by yours truly, Gabriel the Archangel...or as others knew him....Trickster...sometimes Loki in the same vicinity as his demigod pals! Feeling as though it was all to his liking, he adjusted his red vest and snapped his fingers. Just like that, everyone who was frozen in place, waiting to play out their roles would not only hear some music meaning only one thing. It was time for their opening credits and they had no choice but to go with the song that little chipette had in her heart to start them off! Just for extra kicks, they'd each get an introduction that had who they were and what their role was. Pretty much like a REAL credit opening! Save for the fact that these credits weren't edited in quite like a show's, they were part of the set and if the actors or actresses bumped into it somehow or weren't careful...they'd find they were floating solid objects in the form of words!
So now it was time for them to play their roles and learn lessons on unity, hardship AND how important family ties are to pull through! This was going to be corny and full of various tracks...as well as commercial breaks because...well...it was a sitcom and TV has proven to have those a bit often. Add a little spice to their lives by promoting products! Of course, he'd show up at some point...he was just going to wait for the riiiiight moment to introduce himself as the family's surprise guest...

Darkness; that was all Jeanette knew. Well, at least for the moment. At first, she'd thought it was some awful nightmare... then she'd realized her eyes were just closed. Of course, the inability to move at all bothered her a bit. And then, the oddest thing happened. She started singing, but her lips weren't moving! "♪Homerun, loud crash; Someone's gonna pay for that; Why's everyone looking at me?♫" She also had the strangest feeling; sort of like she almost found herself in two places at once. And, as she began to sing, she was able to move again.
As the 'camera' focused on what would seem to be an average suburban home, it zoomed in to the owner of the voice in her room; the little Chipette laying in her bed, her eyes closed. "♪Raise your glass if you are wrong; In all the right ways; All my fellow 'Munks; We can be anything we want to be!♫" Jeanette rose into a sitting position, gave a great big stretch, and yawned widely. This happened in a very fast many and didn't even really look like she was actually waking up from being asleep; hopping out of her bed, the scene switched again.
When the little female chipmunk was once again shown, displayed was one of the 'episodes' that would come later down the line. Staring up high above her, she stared at the remote for the TV on a shelf near the ceiling of the house. It had been placed their as punishment and she had devised a way to retrieve the device. "♪Skating on melted ice; Trouble in Paradise; Please don't take away my TV!♫" Using some odd, homemade contraption, the chipmunk managed to knock the remote down to the ground and she dragged it 'offscreen.'
The scene swiftly changed, showing her once again, as she was standing on a Science textbook opened to a page. Before anything else could happen, bright purple words popped out of nowhere. They read 'Jeanette, one smart 'munk' and had appeared so suddenly, they bumped right into Jeanette's back, knocking her onto her stomach. She adjusted her purple glasses, as they'd been knocked askew by her fall, and looked beyond the fourth wall to the audience with a sheepish smile.
"♪Cool, loud, quiet, shy; We're just complete freaks! Just c'mon, c'mon! Hang in there, (Oh, baby!) For me~ee!♫" As she finished the song, her parts of the Opening Credits done, Jeanette took her place in the family portrait.
Jeanette stood on the kitchen counter, in front of the toaster, her little foot-paw tapping away impatiently. She shot another scowl at the machine and huffed her discontent. It was taking unusually long for the thing to make her breakfast. With a sudden and unexpected clang, the toast shot straight out of the toaster. Jeanette yelped in fright and did her best to dash away quickly to hide behind the coffee maker. Peeking out from behind it, she cringed slightly when the toast hit the countertop and floor with a loud smack.
"DAAAAAAD~!!" The toaster's broken, again!" The little Chipette yelled, her voice carrying throughout the house so her 'father' could hear her. Of course, the stupid thing had to break every time she deigned to use it...

What. Castiel did not understand. Where was this music coming from? And why was it so...upbeat? Something about all of this felt very, very wrong - like he should have somehow been feeling the need to protest a lot more than he was now, but trying to think why only confused him further. All he knew was the sudden instinct that had abruptly sprung up, the instinct that was now telling him one thing: it was time for his part in the title sequence. And then, just as suddenly as this absurd thought occurred to him, he found himself dressed in business clothes, clutching a briefcase, walking through the door of some strange home, and then pausing to smile brightly at the camera.
...The smile felt even more wrong than the music did. He quickly desisted, settling much more easily into his usual serious expression as words - large, tangible letters - flew onto the screen. As Cas shuffled awkwardly to avoid them, he accidentally ended up directly behind the words so that they were blocking his face. He stared seriously at them for a moment. ...'Castiel as: Dad' ...Dad? Oh, right. Somehow, he felt that this was his cue. Clearing his throat under the music, he shuffled out from behind the words and awkwardly tried to make his face seen by the camera.
By the time he'd gotten all of this sorted out, it was time for his bit of the title sequence to be over. Stiffly, he moved into his place in the family portrait, for some reason unable to stop himself from casting Jeanette a proud, fatherly look as he did so.
"DAAAAAAD~!!" The toaster's broken, again!"
Castiel hadn't been...doing anything. He'd just been sort of existing off-screen, still dressed in his business clothes, waiting for his cue. At the sound of his daughter's voice, he opened the door and stepped into kitchen, on point with a corny joke that he immediately felt compelled to make. "If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, we'd be able to afford a new toaster!" And for some reason...well, someone evidently found that quite funny, for a disembodied roar of a crowd's laughter coming from some unknown source followed his words. But that was the kind of thing that...for some reason, always happened around here, and he felt no need to break the forth wall and acknowledge it.
Setting his briefcase down, he strode over to where Jeanette was struggling with the toaster and took a good look at it. Stupid thing never worked right. Frowning, he glanced down at his watch. "...I am going to be late for work. Maybe you could ask your sister for help? You know she's the only one who can ever get this thing to work." Elphaba had a special talent for dealing with toasters. It was almost like...magic.
