Category :Mega man, specifically the Legends Aka Mega Man 64 version
Name: MegaMan Volnutt
Alias:Mega Man, Mega Man Trigger, Rock Man (But only in Japan)
Age:The answer to that is... question mark question mark question mark.
Ranking:Hero
Physical Appearance:
Personality: Heroic to the core of his being Megaman tends to jump into help people sometimes without thinking things completely through. The concept of not helping really never seems to enter his mind. Not helping would be like not breathing, totally unacceptable. He goes out of his way to help people caring little if he gets a reward but never refusing a gift. Kind and gentle most of the time he does not have much in the way of ambitions.
Really all Megaman wants to do is see what is around the next corner, see what the next day will bring and have some fun along the way while making someones life a better place. He has a responsible streak a mile long and will not shirk from a problem or from pulling up his sleeves (figuratively speaking) and helping out. He isn't exactly a mental giant but is fairly physically intelligent with an instinct for fighting opponents that serves him well.
In addition to his... lack of street smarts... and much books smarts... Megaman tends to be fairly gullible and easy to manipulate. His fairly predictable nature works against him quite often but he is not one to change who he is so he just keeps rushing at the problem till he makes it through.
Powers/Abilities:
Natural combatant: Megaman takes to combat like a duck to water. While more of a ranged combatant he also has a nasty kick if provoked which can easily send a tin can blocks away. He prefers to keep at medium or long range where his equipment is best suited for.
More agile then you would think: Despite his looks Megaman is well... more agile then you would think. Able to do sudden rolls and flips to avoid incoming enemy fire at surprising speeds.
High Jump:Put simply.... Megaman is VERY good at jumping, easily jumping ten to twelve feat in the air. Some people say he can do it because no one ever told him it wasn't possible.
WEAKPOINT EXPOSED... the hard way: Megaman has an unusually ability. When his attacks impact a target he knows instantly if he is hitting something he can damage with his attacks or if he is hitting a weak point, a chink in the armor. This instinctual information is relayed to his brain in the form of the object or the point he is shooting flashing. That is not what others see but it is how his brain represents this.
Weapon adapt: Megaman seems to instantly bond to any weapon attached to him and with only a few practice shots becomes and expert with them... well... sorta an expert. At least much better then your average joe would be and he does learn quick. He has never blown off his own dangly parts.
Equipment:
The metal!: Most of Megaman's flesh is not so much flesh but a armored protecting and covering most of his synthetic skin. His whole body is his equipment but we will touch on them here. His flesh is a special metal that if exposed to enough of the right kind of energy will actually repair itself making maintenance unneeded on the 'factory standard' parts. His right hand can retract into his wrist revealing a rather nice rapid fire energy cannon, while not the most powerful weapon out their it has unlimited ammo and he is quite the expert at it's use. He possesses strong armor that can take blasts that could quite easily kill a normal person and as said earlier can repair itself. It also contains a complicated device that he doesn't quite understand but it allows him to contain things in it that he would other wise need a moving van to carry around all the stuff he has on him. Roll once referred to it as having "A Infinite capacity bag with a finite sized mouth"... it took a while for her to explain this to Megaman. The device can turn anything under a certain size to data so he can transport it with ease. He isn't a hundred percent sure how this works but it does so that is good enough for him. In addition he has a helmet that he wears sometimes and others not. He likes the look of his hair spiked up and showing so alot of times he doesn't wear it... if Roll isn't watching.
Sockets: Megaman's armor possesses the ability to meld with weapons as a sort of universal adapter allowing him to use a weapon as if it was part of him... because it suddenly is. He likes it like that...
Weaknesses...
Psychological Flaws:
Gullible: Megaman isn't exactly the brightest bulb and it isn't the hardest thing in the world to take advantage of his good and kind nature. This usually is countered by Roll but as he is at the moment on his own this might get worse before it gets better.
Not the brightest bulb: Put it simply big words confuse him. Megaman is not stupid but his intelligence isn't... book smart.. or street smart... and he is easily bewildered by what he doesn't understand which is... alot.
Physical Flaws:
Titanic impersonations!: Megaman is a synthetic life form and while he can not get sick in the traditional ways he still needs to eat and breath... and his heavy armor is way to heavy for him to float. In large bodies of water he will sink, and then likely drown.
Pain: Despite the amount of armor on his body Megaman is quite capable of feeling pain as various nerves are implanted through it. He might not die from a bullet to the chest but it is gonna hurt like a mother.
Energy dependence: In order to keep going, to keep his armor in good shape Megaman needs the right kind of energy... without it.. he is fresh out of luck.
Brief History: Megaman was found and raised by one Professor Barrell Caskett who became his adopted grandfather, raised along side Roll Caskett and named after a comic book hero he quickly grew to become what they molded him into. Roll and Megaman became a great team and in this far flung future and possibly alternative world became inseparable as partners in business as they grew. Megaman as the role of the Digger, someone who would go into and explore ancient ruins in search of choice loot while Roll would stay on the surface and act as the brains of the outfit to Megaman's muscle.
There partner ship has seen it's share of hills and valleys as they have dealt with everything from pirates to the infamous Bonne family to preventing the end of humanity. They have fought all comers and still gone back to what they like best, simply doing their job. Kicking bot and taking loot. For a while they have had moments of relative peace... peace for them. Sure Megaman has had to blew things up... and run from somethings, and a few incidences of friendly and not so friendly fire but that is okay. At least they haven't heard from the Bonnes in a bit. That tends to make life alot less deranged.
Reason for being on AM: Rip in time and space... was bound to happen eventually right?
Theme Songs:Will of One by The Protomen... well to be honest anything by The Protomen works
