Most, if not all, of these headcanons deal with board canon!Oswin or ICC!Oswin. So, just AM!Oswin in general. You have been warned.- Out of all of the regenerations of the Doctor onboard the TARDIS, Oswin is surprisingly closest to Ten, with Eleven following close behind. Ten is the first Doctor she adventured with, the one who ended up taking her to see the stars, and for that reason, she's just that much closer to him.
- And yet, Eleven is still the one who's room/bed gets snuck into whenever certain total screaming geniuses have especially troubling nightmares. But, shh. We don't tell anyone that.
- Rose and Oswin have a chalkboard in the TARDIS console room, tallying how many people say 'Doctor who?' on their adventures. Vaguely fourth-wall breaking, but yolo.
- One of Oswin's greatest worries if that one day, team TARDIS is going to have to go up against the Daleks. She doesn't know if she'd be able to face them, especially considering that they most likely would still want her intelligence and the risk of being converted again is definitely there. Only this time, there wouldn't be much hope of converting back.
- 90% of the cooking on the TARDIS? Oswin. And sometimes Rose, but mostly Oswin.
- She's entirely in denial about every having to leave the TARDIS. In the very back of her head, there's a little voice whispering that she'll have to leave at some point, but she doesn't ever listen to it. It's one of the many things she just pushes away and doesn't think about.
- Oswin's own paranoia about being left behind is the reason she fixed up an old Vortex Manipulator and keeps it strapped to her wrist. That and her communicator never leave her arm, even when she's sleeping. Especially when she's sleeping.

hahaha procrastinating on my essay what essay Oh yeah these are assorted because WHY NOT~ and some comply more to ICC than board canon - Garchomp rarely sleeps on the TARDIS - but she's had a room made up for her anyways. She's quite positive that the tons of sand she summoned to covered most of the floor won't hurt the ship at all. ...And she's sorry about the furniture.
- She doesn't really like cooked food, but she will occasionally bring back some meat for Oswin to cook in an attempt to help out - though it's doubtful if there are many useful recipes for wolverine, bear and cougar.
- She kind of hopes that one day, the TARDIS will run into Palkia or Dialga - the complete absence of any legendaries worries her, and they seem like the most likely ones to meet considering all the time and space travel. It isn't as if she was abandoned by her gods - it's just like a small part of the world has been taken out and she occasionally notices the hole.
- Mithos might not have had to actually use a sword for years, but he still practises - especially when he's troubled or distressed.
- He's also prone to occasionally blasting random stuff with light when really pissed. Naturally, this happens a lot after Hazama or Pitch troll him.
- Kyubey finds Hazama's constant fights and performances extremely useful - not only do they show the emotional flaws of others, but also prove that despite all his intelligence, Hazama is emotional, and thus weakened and exploitable.
- Kyubey has incredibly keen senses, balanced out by the fact that the hivemind can easily deal with any amount of sensory input without ever reaching an overload. However, he has no nerves and thus no concept of either pain or pleasure. He has to be careful not to give this away when offered food or treated like a pet.

YAY MORE WINTER FINALE-SPAWNED HEADCANONS. And also some AM ones, lolidk.
wow this accidentally turned into like, "List The Ways Regina is Completely Damaged", oops.
- No matter how much pain and suffering Cora puts both Regina and the people close to her through, a small part of her still clings to the irrational belief that Cora can change, and still longs for her approval the way she did as a young girl. After all, no one wants to believe their mother is a complete monster.
- Probably one of the most profound effects of Cora's abuse is the emotional neglect she inflicted on Regina - hence her need to mother practically every kid that crosses her path. Raising Henry has contributed to this as well, but a lot of it's due to the fact that she still can't quite get past the fact that Cora never really seemed to love or approve of her. Being sweet and loving and affectionate around kids both kind of distances herself from Cora in her mind, and a weird psychological way sort of vicariously 'makes up for' the neglect she suffered.
- Due to intimacy issues and...well, various instances of abuse from the past, a lot of times it's sort of difficult for Regina to deal with physical contact or affection. She tends to just kind of bristle and shy away from it if she doesn't know or like the person in question very well - and even if she does, it's uncomfortable most of the time, if it's not on her terms.
- "Love is weakness" is a statement Regina actually kind of...agrees with, though she's often too ashamed to admit it anymore. After all, if she wouldn't have formed all the relationships she has now on AM, she wouldn't have so many loved ones to exploit, so many things her enemies could threaten her with, so many people to protect. She's well-aware that this has made her weak, that the evil queen she used to be was far stronger in comparison. But unlike her mother, she doesn't believe that the solution is just cutting all ties and throwing people away - she's just very, very careful about who she chooses to love, is all. She's really softened up a lot in the past year, but at the same time she keeps even a good many of the people she's on positive terms with at arms length - actual love is something she carefully reserves for very, very few people, for the reasons mentioned above.
- When dealing with outside threats, she is fiercely protective of the Charmings. Not just because they're Henry's family - but just sort of because they've been in her life for so long, even as her enemies. She's the only one who's allowed to troll or hurt them, and she won't be too happy if anyone else tries it.
- More on the Charmings - Emma kind of terrifies her sometimes, just due to the fact that Regina still thinks she's going to try and take Henry away from her. Snow...well, things are still very complicated with Snow. Mostly, Regina tries to be civil with her now, but still hasn't come anywhere close to forgiveness - and she's still tempted to troll her quite frequently. And she secretly kind of likes Charming. Sometimes. When he's not being a complete idiot. NO ONE CAN EVER KNOW THAT.
- Regina dislikes all things winter. I'm not really sure why. I mean, winter's just so full of snow and fun and happiness and snow and holidays and love and snow....
- Christmas is also meh. She really only goes all-out for it for Henry's sake.
- ON A HAPPIER NOTE because I needed at least one happy headcanon. You know what she has a soft spot for, besides children? Animals. And plants, for that matter. They're both way better than people, if you ask her. Horses are, obviously, the best, but she likes cats and dogs well enough too. She's always sort of meant to get Henry a pet at some point.
- She really, really wants to have a baby. That's not to say she'd love her own child any more than she loves Henry - actually, I think it's impossible for any person to love any thing more than Regina loves Henry. But just the whole...experience of being pregnant. She wants it. regina pls your maternal instincts are making you crazy no one is going to want to deal with you if YOU ARE HORMONAL AND PREGNANT.
- okay back to being depressing now (you are actually all going to hate me, just a fair warning). You know the apple tree Regina keeps in her back yard? Well, if you don't, she has one, and she raised it from a sapling, and she brought it over with her from the Enchanted Forest when she enacted the curse. So my headcanon is this: whenever she was feeling lonely and isolated and miserable in her early years as queen, she'd go out into the garden and tend to it. Eventually, this behavior attracted Snow's attention, and she would accompany Regina out into the garden and pester her with all sorts of questions about the tree. Eventually, Regina just relented and let Snow help her take care of it, and it was through this that they actually managed a sort of almost-genuine bonding. In the fall, they'd even pick the apples together.
Regina threw all of that back in Snow's face years later when she picked an apple of all things to poison her with.
HA HA HA NOT SORRY :]

- Because Jack has spent sooo much time without remembering his past life and wandering around the world without a home, he's actually... forgotten what it's even like to have a home. Even after getting his memories of his old life back, he can't exactly remember what it's like to live in a house with a family and people he really cares about.
- Jack actually felt really bad for Pitch when he was defeated and trapped in his lair - he knew the feeling of being unseen all too well to believe that anyone, even someone like Pitch, deserved something like that.
- Even though his looonely immortality was kinda the Man in the Moon's fault, Jack is very grateful for having his life saved. He also thinks that the Man in the Moon intended for him to be seen from the get-go, but Jack just couldn't figure out what it is he was supposed to be doing. But, despite being grateful, Jack has occasional bouts of anger towards him.
- Jack really doesn't like the concept of school. It seems really dumb to him and that's why he uses his snow to get kids out of it once in a while.
- Jack kiiind of wants a holiday to his own, but he knows that if he had one he would be forced to work all year 'round preparing for it. Still, he thinks it'd be good for him to finally get some recognition through a holiday.

most of these are more icc applicable because wow board progress what's that as usual it's an assortment of things - Lilynette doesn't like physical contact - except for fighting and punching people - unless you happen to be Starrk. Even if she likes and trusts the person initiating it, she likes to keep physical affection as a sort of private thing and doesn't really take well to other people trying to hug her and whatnot.
- Starrk remembers almost everything about their life before splitting, and Lilynette, befitting her childlike appearance, remembers nothing at all. They both don't mind this.
- Pride demands that the Condesce kill Eridan after she's freed herself from English. Her duty to her species asks that she keep him alive no matter what. Privately, she's often contemplated the far more likely possibility that they'll both die, no matter what she does, and it is that one possibility that she desperately wants to avoid.
- One of the reasons Fluffy watches cat videos is not just for the research, but because he's well aware that everyone else finds it adorable. He likes being adorable.
- He also hasn't told anyone yet but he's fully capable of lying now, and well aware that he might well have to do so at some point.

oops more oswin headcanons
- Oswin is very, very, very physical. Even not getting into the whole 'expressing herself through touch' thing, she likes to maintain some kind of physical contact with the people she cares about if they'll allow her. Before the Alaska and everything that happened afterwards, she was pretty physical already, but being shut away from people for so long only made it strong. Being around others is an important thing for her and even though she tries to shut people out whenever she's upset, true isolation terrifies her. So whenever she's scared or upset, hugs and physical contact are usually a good way to at least calm her down, if not coax her into talking.
- However, she's very careful not to do the physical contact thing around Regina too much, or anyone who doesn't really like touching. She's good at taking a hint when it comes to that.
- She was a really awkward teenager. Like, up until she was about seventeen and puberty really started to kick in, Oswin was that really nerdy girl who keeps to herself and her books. Except most books didn't really hold her attention, so instead, Oswin turned to computers. That's how she learned as much as she did about hacking and coding and every nuance of stuff like that, because when Oswin Oswald gets into something, she really gets into it.
- It also helped that her parents worked with computers and she grew up around that stuff anyway.
-But then boobs happened and Oswin discovered confidence and the rest is history.
-While most books don't hold her attention, Oswin had a few growing up, mostly old classics that survived even to the year 4023. Alice in Wonderland was her favorite when she was small and she's secretly a huge Tolkien nerd, something that developed in her teenage years. On a shelf in her room on the TARDIS are battered, well-read copies of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Sometimes, when she's really upset, she'll read from them a bit.
- In her mind, there's a little bit of hierarchy when it comes to Ten and his companions. Of course, there's no such thing in real life, but Oswin places herself below Donna and Rose and Amy and even Clara in terms of who's important to the Doctor, whether it be Eleven or Ten. Deep down, she sort of thinks of herself as the companion before the ones he already had before showed up, and now that they're back, they've known him better and for longer than she has. But she doesn't hold a grudge against Donna or Rose or Amy or Clara, rather, she protects them with her life whenever there's a big bad around. Because, to her, losing them would hurt Eleven or Ten a lot more than losing her. oswin pls.
- Having a little bit of knowledge about Nine, she's really wary around him. Being rejected by one of the Doctors, even one that she doesn't travel with is literally her worst nightmare, and she doesn't want to risk that kind of pain ever.
- A bit more on her room on the TARDIS. Along with the enormous skylight, Oswin's room has a set of doors that lead out to a large balcony that's surrounded by projections of whatever galaxy they're in at the moment, so that it looks and feels as though she's outside. There's also a hammock out there, just in case. Inside is a king-sized bed that conveniently can fit Makya whenever she chooses to stay with Oswin for the night, as well as an entire wall lined with computers and interfaces.
- Her room is also a total mess of wires and electronics. But she's cleared a path to the bed!
- Oswin's birthday is November 23rd, the same date as Victorian!Clara's.
- Almost her entire back is covered with burn scars from burns that had been on her Dalek body and healed when she went through the rift. And while she isn't exactly uncomfortable with this, per se, it's not something she goes around telling people about. To her, it's a reminder that she's supposed to be dead and that she'd better take this second chance at life and use it well.
- She likes modern!Clara a lot, but there's some very small part of her that's jealous of her. And another small part that's a little hurt that the Doctor was so quick to try and replace and forget about her with another person who looked and sounded exactly like her.
- Things on her person at all times: her vortex manipulator, her communicator and the ring that the Corsair gave her.
- She usually has her sword handy, just in case. Even though Oswin can't use it well yet, it's nice to know she has something to defend herself with.
- Any of her friends leaving her behind is a terrifying thought. She'd never, never, never admit it out loud, but Eleven's not even bothering to try and help her when he found her in the asylum had an effect on Oswin. She has abandonment issues to the extreme, which is why she clings so desperately to the people she cares about.
- While Oswin doesn't hate magic by any means, talk of it makes her uncomfortable. It's something she doesn't understand and can't make sense out of with logic or technology and that makes her somewhat uneasy even though many of her closest friends use magic.

- The TARDIS' library is, much like the TARDIS itself, bigger than it looks - and it already looks massive. It contains every book in the universe... the Doctor hasn't even read all of them yet. Perhaps the most peculiar thing about the TARDIS' library is that whenever the Doctor, or anyone else, goes into the library the TARDIS always seems to provide him with exactly what he needs... or exactly what he's looking for, if that's the case.
- Okay, this one is based on a Tumblr post. There is a room on the TARDIS that is a very relaxing, otherwordly area. It seems like it's outside, but the sky is replaced with a massive galaxy, showing the Doctor his favorite planets and areas in time and space. The area itself is massive - almost infinite, actually. It's constantly nighttime, but it doesn't feel dangerous. There's a wide variety of alien plant life, most of which are from Gallifrey. The animals are the ones the Doctor has taken particular note of, also known as his favorite animals. The strangest part about this room is that it can't really be found by trying to find it. The TARDIS just... provides the Doctor with it at times. For instance, whenever he loses a companion or finds himself in a particularly troubling time, he'll find himself there.
- The Doctor's room in the TARDIS is constantly in flux, depending on his mood. But, no matter what, the ceiling is always a massive star map of the universe and beyond. The map is controlled by the Doctor's thoughts - but it's usually just his subconscious. If he wants to see something, the TARDIS will show it to him. The Doctor's room also features displays of stuff from each of his regenerations - his first regeneration's cane, his second's recorder, his third's theatrical cloak, his fourth's scarf {obviously}, his fifth's celery, his sixth's and seventh's respective umbrellas, his eighth's shoes {they fit so well!} and his ninth's leather jacket. The thing is, he didn't put them there. Even if he wanted to get rid of them, he would find them right back in his room a moment later for whatever reason. The Doctor's room is also sort of... well, massive. It contains all everything the Doctor might need, including a miniature version of the library and a few bits of technology stuff here and there. His room can expand to feature anything, however, and always has what he needs.
- There is a room in the TARDIS that the Doctor only visits on occasion. The room is basically an entire planet, stored in the TARDIS, except it's more like a picture than a planet. It's an image of Gallifrey in it's best time, complete with fake Time Lords that act like living people. It's constantly the same day over and over... but that's all because it's a recording of a whole day by the TARDIS. The Doctor can interact with it and speak with the Time Lords there, but it simply repeats the day over and over. The Doctor only visits it on special occasions, since it's both a nostalgic and terribly sad experience for him.
- The TARDIS has never shown the Doctor The History of the Time War... and most likely never will.
