So I wanted to try my hand at a villain. I realize that this type of character is entirely different than what has been on the site thus far. If there are any problems that I need to fix or tweak or if the admins ultimately decide that this type of character wont fit in here, I certainly understand.
Cbox Name: ElleBellzz
Nicknames: Elle, Ellie
Main Account: Spike
Who else do you play?: Spike
How did you find us?: Thanks to Meeks
Category: Buffyverse
Name: The First Evil
Alias: The First, The Infinite Evil
Age: Predates both man and demon, all the way back to when the concept of evil itself was first created/discovered at least within the Buffyverse dimension.
Ranking: Villain
Physical Appearance: The First is evil personified, evil manifested. The First's true form is that of a hideous monstrosity of a demon, large, fiery, and horned. However it rarely takes on this appearance unless it is forced to by some kind of summoning spell, or unless its true essence is exposed. When it willingly appears to someone it is difficult to give an exact description of its appearance. Because it really varies. The First can take on the form of any being that has died or even experienced a brush with death, so it has many, many manifestations.
Personality: Being the First EVIL, it doesnt really have a complex personality. It's evil. Merciless and terrible, it cares nothing for even its most dedicated followers and is simply fixated on its own goals. It experiences very little emotion outside the seven deadly sins: anger, pride, envy, greed...you get the picture. But surprisingly for a force so dark, it has an almost civil personality. It is calm, observant, well-mannered. It is also extremely clever and excellent at psychological manipulation. The First is ambitious, power-hungry, and it despises failure. Failure is one of the few things that really sets its temper off. But sometimes, The First is a little too confident. Underestimating its opponents is one of its key downfalls, as you will see in its weaknesses...
As for more indepth details in The First's personality, that really depends on what form its taking. The First very often adapts the personality of whatever being it is impersonating, and is very good at doing so.
Powers/Abilities:
Manifestation of the Dead: The First can appear as any dead being. That means anyone who is really dead, OR a creature considered "undead"(like a vampire), OR someone who has experienced death and has been somehow brought back to life. These impersonations are almost flawless. The First is very good of imitating the personality and the memories of the being it is impersonating. When it manifests, it can also choose who it wishes to appear to. Meaning it can be standing in a room with two people, and only allow one of them to see it.
Manifestation in Dreams: The First can also access a person's dreams, unless that person somehow develops a mental way of blocking it out.
Telepathy: If it choses The First can sometimes access a person's thoughts. Again, there are ways to block this out.
Merging: If the First chooses, it can "merge" itself with a being. The merge establishes a psychic link as well as giving the chosen merger enhanced superhuman abilities. This can only be done if the one it tries to merge with is willing though. It's not exactly possession because The First won't have complete control.
Influence: Its dark influence can have a profound affect on the weak-minded or those who arent expecting it. Through this and its skill at manipulation, the First is excellent at recruiting "followers" to do its dirty work.
Non-Corporeal: This is both a strength and a weakness (mostly the latter). The First cannot take corporeal (that is, solid) form. Therefore, it can not be attacked, and it cannot "die". But it also cannot directly attack or kill any physical being, either. In fact the First can in no way physically affect the world around it.
Equipment: None.
Psychological Flaws:
Lust for Power: The First's main goal is to tip the balance of good and evil permanently. If it does this, it can finally become corporeal. The First is so power-hungry that it will stop at nothing to achieve its goals. Frequently it is blinded into underestimating its opponents. Sometimes this can be a fatal mistake.
Complete Evil: Although the First has a profound understanding of human nature, it cannot understand the nature of good itself. Being a manifestation of evil, concepts like love and selflessness are beyond it. The First often will fail to realize how much strength these qualities can give a person. It brushes off these things as weaknesses when actually they are mostly responsible for every defeat The First has suffered.
Jealousy: The First completely covets mortal beings' ability to feel and assume corporeal form in general. Its envy of this leads to a lot of brooding and observing of humans when instead. Often this wastes time when it should instead be acting out its plan.
Physical Flaws:
Non-Corporeal: Like stated above. The First is incapable of physically touching, harming, or killing. This makes it incapable of any kind of direct attack or physical interaction at all. And also it is the key thing that gives it away when it is impersonating someone.
Holy Presence: A simple couple of crosses isn't going to do the trick, but a strong enough holy presence will keep The First from being able to enter a place.
Other Flaws:
Brief History: The First Evil is a force so old that few still know of its existence. It has been pretty much omnipresent since the time when a being capable of committing an evil act came into existence.
There are many instances of the First's psychological manipulation. Most notably, when the vampire Angel was resurrected from hell, The First nearly drove him to commit suicide by torturing him with manifestations of his former victims. Other incidents like that occured, but mostly The First just lurked in the shadows feeding off evil for eternity. The balance of good and evil was always absolute; it could do nothing to disturb that. That is until Buffy Summers, a vampire slayer, died and was resurrected by magical means. This caused a cosmic disruption of energy so powerful that the First was actually able to use this glitch to make its move and tip the balance forever. It would do this by attempting to destroy the Slayer line. The First recruited a powerful ex-preacher serial killer known as Caleb, as well as a large number of creatures known as Harbringers. The First used these recruits to begin to murder potentials, that is every existing girl who was in line to become the slayer if the current one died.
The First also caused disruption within Buffy's group by antagonizing Spike, Willow, Faith, and even Buffy herself by appearing as various dead people from their pasts. Meanwhile, it began to create an army of hellish Turok-Hans or "uber-vamps" as the Scoobies called them. These were an ancient breed of vampire who maximized on demonic instinct and minimized on human instinct, a breed a lot tougher and more powerful than your basic vampire. The First's ultimate goal was to open the mouth of hell underneath Sunnydale, overrun the world with its vast armies, and claim power for the side of evil once and for all.
To make a long story short, The First almost succeeded but was ultimately defeated by Buffy and her gang. When Spike used a powerful amulet to collapse the hellmouth and the entire town of Sunnydale, the sunlight that shown in destroyed the entire army of Turok-Hans. The First's plan failed.
Reason for being on AM: OOC: Basically for some mini plotting purposes as well as to mess with any character who is up for it C= Dont worry, Im not planning on trolling anyone who doesnt want anything to do with it.
IC: To gain followers, manipulate the weak-minded, destroy all forms of innocence, to ultimately tip the balance and eliminate the forces of good for eternity.
Sample RP: See Spike's bio.
