Seeing her short new buddy figure of sorts pluck out the lollipop from her mouth, it was almost as if her feeling about this not being all that normal seemed to jolt through her mind. Then came the shock filled words in regards to how she never played video games before caused her to blink a couple of times out of sheer confusion while maintaining her composure. Maybe it really was that uncommon not to have played video games...but really she was a busy woman! A demon woman but still a busy one none the less! Granted, she couldn't quite defend herself properly and just opted to nod a couple of times rather than pull some bull poopie excuse like she normally did. Strange, very very strange, oh well a simple two nods seemed to suffice anyway. All the excuses she could come up with would have to come later, when she actually NEEDED them!
Sort of like how she didn't cover up her unearthly actions around her boss unless he caught her and she had no other option. Seemed like something that only really happened around the very rare, few individuals she got along with. Which wasn't really that much but oh well, friends were just a bonus in her life! Watching amusing ol' Cheryl hop to her feet and snatch a few napkins to wipe away evidence of her big feast, then look almost heroic after the proof of stuffing her face was gone. This was different, she was being gestured to grab her hand as though she was some kitty stuck in a well! Or was that some dumb, blameless child? Either way, she grabbed onto the purple haired goblin girl's hand and listened to her mention how she saw a video arcade in the mall on the way to the food court. How fun! She was actually going to play her very first video game!
Only thing she had known about video games were the things she heard about them here and there. Some of them were shooting games, others fighting, and puzzle games too! Chuckling a bit as she was dragged along, the strange nurse with a creepy vibe to most normal folks couldn't help but wonder if it was that place with the blinking lights and people standing around. There were some things she didn't quite understand and that was one of them. Oh wait a moment...it WAS that place with the flashing lights! It had a big obvious sign that had the word `ARCADE` in it. So that absolutely had to be where they were going!
Oh how fun fun fun, all those people looked like they were entertained and far from boredom! However on the way of being hauled along to the arcade, that's when she remembered the man who was trying to escape her with stolen goods...just as his face was in the crowd. ...HIS FACE WAS IN THE CROWD?! Just as she was about to tell her how she couldn't wait to see what kind of neat things quarters would let her do too! That little adventures seemed like it would be so much fun...almost as much fun as doing her job. Oh well...she had to go, her boss was counting on her...! Tugging her hand away from the goblin Marine, she cooed out the words in a soothing fashion, "Ah, it appears something came up that I almost forgot and I'll have to meet you there! Do forgive me, will you, Cheryl?"
After those words passed her lips, she gave her a sweet smile and turned to look her sights right on none other than the albino man carrying around a spleen and liver in side of his body which was alive and well only for now. Calmly, she began walking on over to him and lucky for her he was distracted by something on the ground. Closer and closer, that's when her gaze captured the sight of a wallet on the ground and he was trying to be a good samaritan by trying to find some ID on it. Or not, just and she reached into her sleeve focusing on a syringe filled with tranquilizer and ready to inject in her little victim...seemed like he was just scrounging out some money and credit cards! Once she pulled out the syringe in a discrete fashion, that smile of her's almost became seductive like she had spotted someone she had always wanted. That...or she was concocting some evil, brilliant scheme considering how she carefully and rather skillfully injected dear ol' Charlie before tightly linking arms with him and gently whispering out the words, "Welcome to my operating table~" Sliding the now empty syringe into her sleeve, she began guiding the man who was slightly struggling a bit.
Buuuut he wasn't doing a good job in getting away considering he was now slipping away from consciousness as he muttered, "W-wait...I have the money...! Please, I can pay you now!" Awww he was trying to save himself, how sweet! Letting out a soft chuckle, she lightly shook her head to silently tell him `no` before cooing out in a sickingly sweet fashion laced with a slightly dark nature to it, "Chaaarlie, you know the consequences...you signed the contract. Naughty naughty little organ thief~!" Helping him walk a bit, she had to figure out where in the world she was going to start slicing him open to get the stolen product. Really, didn't ANYONE read the fine print or did they think all the organ repossession workers were money driven people who would take a bribe in a heart beat? Maybe some were but not her, Hiroto Miwa's head nurse didn't care about money, only her boss not being taken advantage of for all his hard work!

Even the harshness of the United States Marine Corps boot camp, designed to produce the deadliest soldiers the world has ever known, couldn't break her, couldn't change her completely. Despite the seriousness of her duties, Cheryl remained obnoxious, even immature. Once TanTan had given her her hand, she tugged the other woman along, pulling her with her like a small child pulling their parent along through a toy store. Given their considerably height difference, that's exactly what it looked like. A child, albeit a bizarre one, tugging along a parent. And like a spoiled brat, the goblin was anxious to get her way.
And so she pulled the nurse along with her, weaving and dodging people in the crowd along the way. A casual observing might remark to themselves how the scene looked like a big rig trying to weave and dodge through heavy traffic at high speeds. Unlike the slow and bulky 18-wheelers, big and clumsy as they were, Cheryl, like all goblins, was fast and nimble. She could move with inhuman speed and grace, although she kept from doing that, since she assumed TanTan was human. A strange human, but human none the less.
Finally, they arrived. Or rather, were close to arriving. Oh, Cheryl could see the electronic Heaven now. She thought she'd start TanTan off with something anyone, even nongamers, could enjoy. The new Quake and DooM titles were out. Surely they'd be loads of simulated violent, cyber fun. Nothing was more fun than blowing the head off a demon. Or an alien cyborg. Or whatever baddies id Software put into their latest game.
But then the other woman tugged away, saying she realized she had business to attend. It was odd. As someone in her position watched TanTan rush away, they'd might be compelled to run on ahead to the arcade. Not Cheryl though. Something was wrong, anyone in her situation could've sensed it. But they would've dismissed it or tried to shove it into the back of their mind. Cheryl was both a Marine and a goblin. She had training others didn't, and her goblinness craved mischief and drama.
So she followed along, but kept her distance. TanTan seemed distracted by the strange pale man she just went up to. A boyfriend? Lover? Just a friend? Cheryl wondered as she noticed the man become somewhat drunken. She didn't see the injection, TanTan did well to keep that hidden. But she could see its effects, how he seemed to have trouble standing.
Maybe he was already drunk? After all, Cheryl intended to do quite a bit of binge drinking later. But something didn't seem right. So she followed, trying best she could to remain anonymous in the crowd, but perhaps failing due to her physical features and uniform. But at least TanTan didn't have eyes in the back of her head, near as Cheryl could tell, so perhaps she managed to keep her pursuit of her new found friend a secret after all.

Everyone, even though without a touch of intuition have had that all to annoying feeling that they're being followed or even watched. A demoness such as herself was not exception and she couldn't help but want to look over her shoulder. No though, she just looked forward while walking this slippery eel, Charlie the albino, since she had to get her boss' product right away. In fact if she followed every single gut feeling that someone was following her or something, her job would NEVER get done! Especially since there were just a whole lot of people in the places she did go to most of the time. Maybe those thieving clients thought being in a public spot would save them? Yeah right, that was like saying rain would literally turn into cats and dogs just because a normal human with no powers wanted a new kitty or something stupid like that!
Or that pigs could fly without any help what-so-ever! Either way, they would be doomed....more so than before when they started drooling and mumbling incoherently. Oh boy...the slobber bucket she was guiding around had gotten to that stage fairly quick and she couldn't help but chuckle as she looked down at Drool Charming..erm...CHARLIE and smile in an almost seductive fashion. How she wanted to see his lovely, beautiful organs. Most thought such a sight was absolutely disgusting but to this twisted demon nurse, that wasn't the case at all! They were colorful, glistening, and always a little different from the others. No human was exactly the same physically and that didn't excuse organs.
It was like that for almost every creature, absolutely fascinating, really! As she carefully guided her prey along, part of her wanted to look back just to see if the potential friend she left behind was standing there in shock or poofed into the arcade as she had hoped. It was a little strange to even slightly feel genuine concern for someone other than her boss...but then again that goblin woman was definitely a unique find! Plus she really did seem like someone she could be friends with or even confide in...almost. Having trust issues were beneficial to a degree in her sort of business, let alone life style. Anyone in their right mind would try to avoid her like the plague or try to kill her. Just about anyone who tried to kill her was an annoyance!
Silly humans! After a while of walking and wondering what sort of fun her burger buddy was having at the arcade...if she went there anyway...that's when the wild haired woman guided the organ thief into a `STAFF ONLY` area which was conveniently empty. The nurse couldn't help but feel the corner of her mouth twitch at how this area looked as though the gods of cleaning had forsaken it. Maybe...just MAYBE Charlie deserved having an operation in this dump...considering he was trash like the dumpsters around them. That's right! They were now at the mall's very own designated dumpster area! Laying down her albino buddy after setting down that organ case of hers, it wasn't like he was going to move around a whole bunch at this point considering how sedated he was. Dare she give the poor man numbing...? Eh, nah, he didn't deserve it! He stole TWO organs, a liver and spleen! That was just asking for a painful slumber in her book!
"Welcome to my operating table...mmm a very disgusting version of it...then again you ARE a naughty little organ thief so this suits you~!" Saying those words in a fashion that almost seemed cheerful and calming at the same time, there was also a sinister smile that followed it as she narrowed her only visible eye. Fixating her thoughts on a scalpel as she reached into her sleeve only to pull out a nice, sharp tool any surgeon would love. Now it was time for surgery...surgery....!

The Corporal was into strange things, for sure. She loved her B movies, loved her comic books, her violent video games and her magazines into the occult. That was mostly her father's doing. Ah, how she missed him sometimes. Never to the point of tears though. While her sister took after their mother, she took after their father and became more interested in nongirly things. Namely, her father got her hooked on bad horror movies.
Video games naturally came next. She was used to all sorts of violence and gore in them and all sorts of disturbing imagery. But what TanTan was doing... Would she be able to tolerate it? Could she tolerate it? Could they still be friends afterward? If not, could she even stomach it? Certainly, it was kooky and weird and right up her alley, but it was....wrong? Well, maybe. They hadn't paid for their merchandise, after all.
Regardless whatever Cheryl's reaction would've been if she followed her friend into that room, it never came to be. Fate? Good fortune? Bad fortune? Who knows. But as Cheryl neared the door, she suddenly felt a vibration in her pocket. Although her big goblin ears afforded her superhuman hearing, she set it on vibrate to ensure there would be no lost calls.
Normally, she wouldn't have cared, but she was expecting a very important call. A call from her commander, or rather a text message. A nice, grumpy old man he was. A battle hardened veteran. The professionalism of their relationship would not allow them to be friends, but the old bastard did have a soft spot for her. Maybe she just grew on him.
Cheryl quickly snatched her cell out of her trouser pocket and looked at the message. Whatever concern for what her new found friend was doing vanished. Everything vanished to her at that moment, as a wide ear to ear grin slowly dawned on her face. She went on leave to try and clear her mind, to hopefully pass time until the decision was made about her career. She'd volunteered for a new project the USMC was running and although the message meant her leave was over and it was back to work, she took it with as much elation as finding out her favorite show was coming back for a new season.
She instantly pocketed her cell again and turned to rush off, pausing only briefly to consider TanTan. Maybe...they'd meet again. She couldn't just abandon her. She rushed to the arcade, sure that TanTan would go there looking for her and talked to one of the clerks there. Quickly writing down her cell number and name, as well as providing a description of TanTan so he'd know who to give it to.
Then she scampered off, giddy as a schoolgirl. All because of a simple message, which confirmed so much more than the few words which it contained. A message, which had read as follows:
"Cpl. McAllister, report back immediately. Congratulations, Sergeant."

Humming out a chipper melody, the nursely demoness couldn't help but enjoy her job a bit! Maybe a little too much at times, especially like now as she got to work with carefully slicing the man's abdomen open with a twisted smile flashing off her psychosis like a shiny gem. Proceeding to carefully pull out his liver, she couldn't help but look at the organ dripping with blood and glistening in the light upon them. Gently, she cooed out to the once animate piece of tissue, "Ooooh you're far to beautiful to stay in a dirty old drunk, love~! It's ok now...you'll be with my boss again soon. He missed you dearly and your spleen friend too~!" Letting out a sweet little chuckle as though she was talking to a child or someone she couldn't possibly want to cause harm to before opening up the organ containment bag and placing it into the nice, cozy cooling space it provided.
One more to go! Wiggling her fingers in the organs and though it was a pile of squishies, which they pretty much were, for just a moment before pulling out the spleen and sliding it away into the portable little container. "Ah yes...my boss missed the both of you so very much~! Now we can all be together again until you find a new home....hmmm it appears I'm talking to myself out loud...oh well~! I'm in good company..." Taking off her gloves and stuffing them up her sleeves along with the scalpel, that's when it dawned on her that she needed to find Cheryl rather than step on into a shadow and report back to Hiroto. Closing up the bag as she pondered what to do, snapping it shut to keep the nice, cool air from escaping.
For once, she actually looked a little confused...normally she didn't bother bonding even a bit with her peers. Humans were far too ignorant for her linking most of the time, it seemed like such a waste to get fond of one only to be treated like some sort of villainous monster when they discovered what she was. The nerve of them! If she allowed people to run around with stolen product it was like the cops laughing off a robbery or genocide to go have some coffee and doughnuts! Maybe Cheryl deserved the benefit of a doubt...? Ah...just this once she'd give it a shot and hope not to make an idiot of herself with that `fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me now you die!` saying or...something close to it. Hmmmm that meant getting rid of the calling card she normally left! Or more along the lines of calling corpse.
Grabbing the albino by the hair, she dragged him along and right into a big enough shadow, literally pulling his corpse into the shadow along with her. Why did she leave the precious cargo behind? This was only a quick trip, she'd be back in a minute! Thinking about a candy shop someone wittingly called `Candy Mountain`, the one that was in Gotham city she wanted to visit later...that's when she appeared on a literal mountain of pink colored candies in a closed down shop. Releasing Charlie as his sliced open corpse slid down and landed into a candy rat next to two big unicorn dolls that were pretty much life sized! One was blue and the other was pink! This store really looked fun but she had to get going to find the goblin girl with a purple mohawk!
Since she was engulfed by the large shadow of darkness in this place, the almost psychotic nurse simply faded away thinking about the area she left her bag in. Pulling herself up from the shadow like something people would expect to crawl out of a TV in some sort of Japanese horror film, she quickly walked over to her bag and picked it up before exiting the area and heading on back to the main area of the mall where civilians were. Weaving through getting strange looks and the lone whistle which caused her to quirk a brow making her look as though her composure was `WTF` worthy, she shook it off and went back to looking as though she was in the best mood EVER! Finally getting back to the arcade, that's when it looked as though her buddy wasn't there...what a bummer....but then some employee looked at a paper then looked to her...back to the paper and then back to her....theeeeen stared for a while. Ok that was pretty hard to ignore! Scratch that, borderline IMPOSSIBLE to ignore! Letting out an amused chuckle, she brought her free hand up to her chin and showed off her pearly whites with an almost seductive smile before speaking in a soothingly sweet tone, "My oh my am I in trouble~?"
The boy blushed after realizing how rude he might of been without realizing it and gave her the note the odd Marine girl left behind before getting back to work. Poor thing was much too embarrassed to say anything! Oh well, she understood how that was as she took the note so he could scamper on his merry way. Reading the note...it seemed as though her new acquaintance really did want to be friends after all! They definitely would meet again....maybe not right away but in the near future...without a doubt their paths would cross. It was something this woman with a crimson glossed smile would make sure of!
