In truth, dying had made Ulquiorra realize several things. First that he needed to be more careful with his use of Segunda Etapa - he had been arrogant last time, assuming that the power it gave him alone was enough to defeat his enemy instead of relying on strategy and skill as he usually did. Second, that he was fully capable of feeling emotions that he thought were lost to him. That one had been something of a shock, considering that he had always thought that emotions were inaccessible, destructive and pathetic. Knowing that he felt them was... enlightening, to say the least.
However, none of that had anything to do with his actual death. Dying was a fairly normal experience, nothing beyond what he expected. It was a moment of emptiness before arriving here, due to strange "rifts" in time and space. Ulquiorra was unsurprised and... honestly, slightly underwhelmed. Everyone described death as a terrifying thing, or something to be embraced. The truth was... neither, if his memory served correctly. If anything, it was a confusing and nearly blank memory that Ulquiorra barely even cared about. He was alive now, that was all that mattered.
"You seem to assume that I can be 'shaken up'." Ulquiorra replied, staring blankly down at Lilynette. His face remained as still as stone, with absolutely zero signs of feeling. If Ulquiorra had explored his emotions, he may have felt pity for Lilynette. She seemed to so desire him to be something he wasn't. However, he hadn't explored any of them... and he had no desire to. Ulquiorra watched as Lilynette entered the Garganta and, as soon as she had disappeared, took a final look over the human world. Moments ago, he had thought it to be filled with trash... but now, it seemed different somehow. He could hardly describe what he was feeling.
Ulquiorra turned around and began to walk into the Garganta. Just before he entered, he paused and looked over his shoulder. A moment later, he had entered the Garganta and found himself on the familiar landscape of Hueco Mundo. Ulquiorra held out a hand and closed the Garganta, before starting on his way to Las Noches, not saying a single word to Lilynette before he took off.
