Charlie was running as fast as she could she didn't know who she was running from, but she knew why. She had destroyed a facility for a military contract. She was stupid to think there wouldn't be reprocausions. When she had gone to queens there had been cops loitering about at her home.
Then there had been unmarked government type's at her office at the university. She was going mad, had ditched her car called a taxi and headed down town.
he mind was in a panic, who could she trust that didn't think she might be a traitor. She calmed herself durring the taxi ride and left a few blocks from where she had given more out of parinoia than anything. She looked around anxiously where to go, where to hide, somewhere safe.
HEr emotions were a swirling series of paniced responses and she was starting to loose her normally cool demenor. And then some homeless sickly looking man satrrted to run at her. It sprinted as if there was no tommarrow.
She almost screamed in fright until....
There was the sound of howling turbines.
Instinctively charlie jumped out of the way.
The zombie had no instinct it just stared as it was squashed into a pulp, from a 1 ton 8 foot monster. there was a small crater where the thing had been. Charlie looked and saw in front of her project Jericho, it stared at her, and she stared right back utterly amazed that the creature had even found her.
"Have...you been following me..?"
No response just a wag from its tail, and panting.
Charlie assumed that meant yes. "thank you."
An approved bark came from the creature as it suddenly grabbed her shirt and began dragging her away.
"hey what....what are you doing...." She screamed in coherently as the werewolf began moving her towards a condemned fire department building and lead her inside with her protesting the whole way.
It closed the doors behind them then used an old firetruck to barricade the big garage doors. It barked happily and sat down in front of her exactly like a dog and waited as if seeking approval.

Hazama had been following after one 'Project Jericho' for the past while now. While the wolf himself wasn't a time disturbance according to Takamakaharu, he still felt that this mangy mutt needed to be cataloged, "perhaps to be garnered as a new observer" or some shit like that. And so, Hazama had followed him through Queens as he searched for his owner's taxi, leading him straight to the both of them.
'Well, hey, at least it's not a cat this time...'
He smiled from afar as he withnessed him execute a zombie with less than a second thought, though scowled when it became apparent that is had some sort of affectionate relationship with it's owner, which entailed barking, wagging a tail, and licking her face as well as other such decisively un-weapony actions. He slowly strolled towards them, but their backs had turned, as they hid out in an old abandoned firehouse, with a fire truck blocking his way in...through the garage.
'Oh, well...I guess I'll just have to use the door than...like I intended...weird little thing.'
Hazama took out his knife and walked to one of the side doors. After breaking the lock mechanism, he turned the knob, and stepped towards the mis-shapened hound.
"Wow! What a faithful little puppy, running you all around New York just to see you! It's like somethin' out of one of those Hallmark commercials, except this time, instead of a husband giving a woman some ring, it's an eight foot tall hell hound giving a woman some rabies. Still romantic though."
Slowly, Terumi came into view, letting his figure and location be known to the duo. A snake-like smile adorned his face as it normally did, and his partially closed eyes gave some impression of...gold pupils? He chuckled to himself, keeping a hand at his knives incase the big bad wolf decided to attack.

Charlie turned in slight surprise she still wasn't over the being dragged like a doll into an abandoned building and being barricaded inside. She stood up slowly and dusted her pants off. Jericho seemed relatively docile right now which surprised her he was designed to be a killing machine as she had seen when he had rampaged through the whole facility pretty much killing everybody scientists, security, but it had apparently left her alone.
Then there was this it had just save her life from some mad "thing" and was acting just like a dog. her head hurt this made no bloody sense none at all.
Then she heard the voice from the front door. She turned relatively surprised at the figure who just came in. Was this day going to get any worse she thought to herself in what could only be described as a swirl of emotion that made no sense even to her.
The big wolf got onto all fours then lowered it self to the ground in a very wolf like manner of showing danger and threatening the stranger as much as possible. Mostly it was relying on instinct and instinct said this man was dangerous.
"Who are you?" Charlie demanded, though really it was more like asking just because she had no strange abilities or anything she was just a person. She really wasn't sure what to believe anymore jericho's discovery had wreaked havoc on her firm belief of science .
She was already on edge the growling wasn't helping her headache nor was it allowing her to think properly. She yelled out something "DOWN boy."
Immediately the wolf stopped growling but didn't stop watching the man. it wanted to attack it really wanted to attack, however it remained where it was watching the man with suspicion.
the young doctor's mind was so rattled she hadn't realized she was pretty much commanding the werewolf like like the military had wanted in the first place. Granted it was in the more i'm the boss you listen to me way a dog listened to its owner.

"The name's Hazama, kiddo. And yours is Charlie, and his is Jericho (first name: Project). Now that we've got the meet and greet all taken care of..."
Hazama slowly walked towards the two, aware that eventually Jericho would snap at him-- infact, he was counting on it. His left arm glowed a green hue, and though it was in a position so that none would see, it remained a sign to any new visitors of an attack...well, more of a perceived counter attack, but hey, now I'm just arguing semantics.
"Ah, I'm sorry there doc. Didn't mean to startle you two. I'm just, well, a real big fan of your work here see. I mean, haven't seen a mutt like this since...well, the point is, It's been a while. So, here's why I'm here, 'kay? I want to know everything there is to know about your dog. Combat capabilities, schematics, equipment, metal capabilities, physical augmentations, history of devolpment and what tools you used, the whole sch-bang. And in return for all of this, I'll give you the once in a life time opportunity of guaranteed protection from me! That's right, this is a one time offer, made especially for you! You don't even gotta' pay 19.99 for this shit. Whaddya' say, Charlie mi'dear?"
Terumi didn't bother to say exactly who 'guarantied' her safety [Takamakaharu], or the fact that he could choose just to fuck it and kill her anyway like kinda' planned to do to every single being on the face of this planet, but hey, most deals have really small subtext that you need to squint to read -- on Terumi's contract, the fine print was practically invisible... "I can't...I won't" Charlie said in a remarkably strong voice for someone who was basically helpless at this point. She didn't know who this man was or why he was asking for information on Jericho. She knew that that yeah she might be a traitor to the government and was already declared a security risk for her actions but there was no way she was gonna let that kind of information just go out.
If there was anything she had learned from military contracts is you always think of a catch. And he had never said the conditions on what it meant if he were to protect her from him. That could mean anything, she wasn't stupid and she wasn't about to loose her project to some stranger who happened to be threatening her over this information.
"I refuse-"
The wolf Growled again taking what it heard as orders for "Get ready to kill." The armor systems flashed and suddenly there was the crackle of electricity as the werewolf began activating several systems the main one being the energized armor system. It began growling and moved right in front of the doctor so she would be somewhat protected.
The beast swished its tail and waited for this person to so just an inch of aggression towards the doctor.

Beneath Hazama's feet, the sewer grate lifted clean from the floor, Hazama's weight upon the already massive metal disc negligible to whatever was lifting it. It rose a good couple feet, revealing the visage of a hellish creature that held a bowler hat in a large array of teeth, its beady, and multitudes of eyes darting around. It only gave a moment for any kind of reaction before vaulting up out of the sewer, bringing with it the smell of the lunches of a few thousand people across several months. And a zombie, which it crushed under one foot like an insect, standing at over nine feet tall, even at its hunched posture.
It hadn't even noticed Hazama's presence, only the werewolf and the woman. despite being a horrific monster of doom, Mr. Bitingston took a moment, staring at her, before tipping the sewer grate to her as if it was a gigantic hat, knocking off Hazama if he was still standing upon it, before replacing it over the hole, placing his hat upon his head.
"Urvnen' Gurvnuh." he said, and offered a dopey looking, fang-filled smile.

"Aw...That's too bad. I was sorta' hoping that we wouldn't have to come into conflict buuuuuuut, I guess fate had something else in mind e--...eh?"
Hazama was caught by surprised from the 'new arrival', as furry, large, and smelly as it maybe. However, the moment he felt the surface he stood on move, Hazama quickly jumped away, moving through the air like it was second nature to him and landing behind the newest mutt to enter the garage. His smile, at first, dissipated slightly with the unexpected guest...but soon grew back to it's normal length, nay, a longer length. Now he had three toys to play with.
'...Interesting...just how I like it...huh. What if I could use this guy...for beat up that guy? Ha! Looks like it's my lucky day!'
Hazama clicked his heel, knowing that the newer dog couldn't see hm at the moment. A ghostly, serpent-like apparition appeared from Terumi's foot and stealthy made it's way through the shadows, escaping the are where Hazama supposed the strange pup could see. The small snake shot towards Jericho's paw, and was assured to cause Jericho mild pain even if it hit his armor. Hazama, at the same time, allowed a snake-like apparition to slither up the new arrival's back, peering it's head over the mutt's shoulder's, as if to taunt the dog and say 'I did it'...which was exactly what Hazama wanted.
Quickly, Hazama disappeared into the shadows, and watched with interest what would happen next. If Hazama's actions invoked what he wanted, Jericho would attack the new hound, allowing both combat data to be collected, and, if he was lucky, Jericho's attention to be diverted long enough for him to capture Charlie for questioning...and possibly annihilation. The wolf howled in rage as it was attacked. Opperating on pure animalistic nature the wolf was angery at suddenly being attacked the wolf stood on both legs and ran at the nearest creature in its sight which happened to be the creature right in front of it. It drew back its fist the air seemed to be being drawn in to the fist as it was pulling back.
The pneumatics getting ready to fire as they drew in as much air as possible. The werewolf aimed at what it perceived as bittingstons head. Even if it dodged there would be a sizable hole in the area it hit probably a good deal of structural damage as well.
The fist worked by drawing a large amount of air pressure into the pneumatics in the arms. Then they would fire the instant the fist made contact with the target firing a large amount of highly compressed air. This air was strong enough that it could leave holes in most objects, break through tank armor or cause severe structural damage all within a large area of about 10 feet from the impact zone.
Charlie on the other hand was well there's no other way to put other than scared stupid. She backed away from Jericho towards the wall huddling a little as she had seen in the facility Jericho was a fierce adversary. She kept trying to get her own brain under control with little luck.

Hazama revealed that there was in fact a bad guy in this situation. Ohh, did he ever show his colors. As eyes trained on the man, they had an irritated, furrowed expression as if to say something to the effect of 'I see what you did there' and had just enough time to remove his head from the path of a speeding train of a fist that hissed and... You know what? Mr. Bitingston knew enough to stay out of the way of something like that. His hat narrowly missed execution, and that was an unforgivable sin - Hazama (Or, as Mr. Bitingston knew him, Mr. Greenpants) would pay. oh, how he would pay. Likely with his flesh. And perhaps a soda. "Ur durdent durr it!" He bellowed before the werewolf's massive fist impacted into a brick wall, splintering and cratering it like it had been made of balsom wood. Hoh shit. That thing had some... punch to it? Just the same, he reached and grabbed the metal disc of the sewer grate, and hurled it at Hazama, with force and accuracy that spoke volumes of Mr. Bitingston's ability to see in the poor light. Shadows, my ass.

In his home dimension, Hazama was known as on of the Six Heros who slew the global menace known as the Black Beast. Through the year long conflict between the heroes and the beast, one didn't live to a ripe old age by standing completely stationary and waiting for a claw to rend their flesh apart-- one needed to learn how to dodge, and Terumi of all the heroes was the fastest, and by extension, the best at dodging terrifying fangs and spikes that came with the job, and he'd be damned if some goddamn dog throwing a brick of two would do him in. Naturally, he did his dodging thing, jumping high and stepping off the wall, letting it fly past and open a large hole in the wall.
'Hm...good effort though.'
Knowing that it wouldn't be too long before the Jericho wised up with the wall hitting so close to his doctor friend, Hazama decided the fight could be damned. He'd just grab the doctor and extract information from her personally. Even if it wasn't as interesting as watching a fight, it might well be twice as efficient.
"Time to go now~!"
Hazama spoke musically as he wrapped his arm around the good doctor's torso and threw her onto his shoulder. Suddenly, a black and green chain shaped like a snake appeared from his free hand. The chain sparked with energy as it extended with the blink of an eye, through the hole in the wall that the 'hellhound' had so generously made in his attempt to attack Hazama. 'Ouroborous' connected to a nearby roof top and quickly zipped both Hazama and his captive over to the ground it had been laid upon. He waved back at the two dogs mockingly, as he began sprinting, chuckling to himself as he did so.

Charlie was screaming out of frustration after suddenly being grabbed, she was upset at herself for getting caught like this. She calmed down and remembered what the person in her self defense class had taught her."Sing..."
She remembered the words clearly as she was hoisted over his shoulder. Solar plexus that wouldn't work she was on his back. Instep, no feet to step on, nose....As if that left one choice.
She stopped struggling for a second and took her left leg as far back as possible and kicked as hard as she could aiming right for his groin which was surprising for someone like her.Aiming was a bit iffy being over his shoulder but she knew anatomy well enough to know she had a very good shot of this working.
Jericho stopped and turned his full attention on the doctor and the man who had grabbed her. His fury now fully unleashed. There was no way that Jericho would let anybody get away with that. Like bittingston's hat touching his mother was a mortal sin.
The werewolf began growling with unbridled furry, it was furious it was angry. This thing would die now were the only thoughts going through Jericho's mind.
The wolf had reverted to using its claws it was going to tear this man apart it began to follow him that is until charlie attempted her move.

Another chained formed just Hazama began sprinting, but just as they zipped off to another building, Charlie delivered a kick right to his joy department. For a moment, Hazama stood stationary, as the pain flushed through his crouch area as he flew about, hostage in hand. The moment his feet touched the new ground however, he...well, began moving alright.
In a flash of anger, the turned Charlie in front of him and kneed her in the stomach before kicking her to the ground. Then, he brought his steel-toed boot up and kicked her right in the ribs, pushing her away with the force in his foot. "You REALLY don't know when to quit, do you? Goddamn, what a fuckin' pain in the ass! Do I have to snap your arms and legs into little pieces for you to cooperate? 'Cuz I can do that if you want! I really can!"
Decisively more irritated than annoyed, Hazama turned his back on the meek professor, hoping his kicks taught her to just fuck off and keep still for a bit...he supposed that the dogs might have caught up by now, and backed up slightly. He prepared for an attack the moment the wolf caught sight of him, as it undoubtedly would...and if he brought his friend along, he might need to actually try a bit more than normal, if only to make up for the difference in bodies.

Mr. Bitey had not lived very long, not very long at all. But from what he had seen, he saw a great deal of himself in Jericho's plight. He watched Charlie being kicked and derided like that, and threatened with further pain, and something in him, something as old as he was, bubbled to the surface. His own anger flared along with Jericho's, but he was no simple beast. Using Jericho's roar of rage as a distraction, Mr. Bitingston leapt to the wall, his claws taking purchase.
Using his leverage and the advantage of his tail, he scurried around rapidly, leaping from the roof of the firestation to the adjacent building. It didn't take him long at all, poking around the exterior, to find a window he could quickly pry open. Just like that, he was in the building with a very-distracted Hazama, in a position to flank him- the warrior had other things to worry about, namely an ultra-distracting werewolf in power armor, roaring and charging headlong into the fray like a moron. Mr. Bitingston had every intention of giving the wolf all the space he needed, and stealth hunting was something... devourers excelled at, despite their size. Tipping his hat forward, He peered into the room that contained Hazama, his barbed tail givning a flick as he readied a plan in his head.
He knew enough from fighting and the training he'd recieved from Slade (through Eliza) that attacking from one angle only was a bad plan - anyone experienced could defend against one angle. But the more angles they had to worry about, the harder a fight got. And he had all the angles he could want in a big room like that one. With the werewolf's bellows of rage and howls of fury, there was zero chance he could have been detected so far... so it just remained that he had to exploit his advantage at just... the right... moment.

Jericho had leaped into the air and climbed up the roof leaving several really hard dents in the walls as it climbed. When it was on the roof and saw the abuse its mother went through it lost all reservation all reasoning. The beast threw out both arms and two really long wrist blades came out of the arms.
These blades glowed blue and occasionally crackled as spars of electricity ran up and down them. These blades as Charlie knew were not ordinary by a long shot. They were a terrible weapon to behold on the field of battle.
They were what the scientists had dubbed dragon's teeth. They were emitting a small humming sound as the electricity flowed up and down the blades. The werewolf let out a roar and charged right at hazama no regard for its own safety it was direct and very much unafraid of the stranger.
Charlie oofed loudly as she was kicked and cursed to herself she wished she had been better prepared for something like this. She was still caught off gaurd how he had even known who she was and what she was working onShe recognized the sighs of jericho's blood rage as she looked up and saw what the beast was doing. She was just glad she had managed to hurt the man somewhat feeling that was some sort of victory for herself.
She knew however soon jericho would be unable to really tell friend from foe the way things were going. This made him dangerous and even more unpredictable than normal. She crawled somewhat towards at least a door or behind some sort of generator just trying to get out of the more than anything.
.
The blades weren't touching the ground but they were leaving small cuts in the ground and along side the building as the werewolf charged. It kept a blade up in the air guarding his face as he charged the other trailing behind him. No trick could stop the werewolf this time its full attention was on hazama.

'Excellent, excellent, just run at me boy, excellent, excellent, excellen-'
"Jayoku-Houtenjin!"
Hazama knew that the wolf would run right at him in it's anger, which made it all to easy for him to build up energy to deliver one of his favorite attacks: The Jayoku Houtenjin or 'Serpent's Infernal Rapture'. The Jayoku was a very strong spinning kick that launched at the opponent's chin, sending them without fail flat on their ass...however, Hazama's technique called for a far stronger effect. Using his superior leg strength, as well as power built up from his 'apparitions' made this kick so devastating, that it literally launched the enemy several yards into the air. With the kick delivered to the chin, it normally left the opponent stunned until he hit the ground, allowing Hazama to easily segway into another of his favorite techniques...
"Hungry Coils!"
Hazama quickly jumped backwards and launched his hand up in the air, pointing diagonally at Jericho. suddenly, out shoot a red-colored chain, flying at a 45-degree angle. If it landed, as it most certainly would, it would 'bite' Jericho's torso. Then, Hazama would slam him into the back of the roof, near the generator Charlie was hiding behind. A good start as any to begin a nice little ball-room brawl like this.
