Cody is 5'5 and weighs 110 lbs. He has fluffy milk chocoalte brown hair, with short bangs which reach about halfway down his forehead. His hair is cut to show his somewhat small ears, and ends about halfway down his neck. He has a lean face with a small, thinnish nose. He has brown eyes, which are about a shade darker than his hair and seem somewhat large. His eyebrows are medium thickness. He has think, pinkish lips. His chin is slightly sharp. He has high cheekbones. He has a dark complexion. Cody likes long sleeve shirts, but wears shorts sleeves when it gets too hot, usually button up. He always wears jeans and white converse shoes. Cody is almost seen with a sincere smile and a simply content experession.
Personality:
Cody is pretty happy usually. Not quite happy-go-lucky, but still happy. He does have his reflective moments, which usually get him down. Cody likes helping people, and does whenever he can. If he feels like you don't treat him well, however, he will either not put much effort into helping you or simply not help you at all.
Cody is not very trusting anymore, however. Those he does trust he is very loyal to. His trust is very hard to break once it's established, and if broken would very deeply hurt him. He has a number of phobias which can be make him nervous or anxious or even make him seriously freak out. He doesn't become a superhero because of those phobias, but he does have a good heart, and would intervene if he saw a bank robbery or bullying.
Don't think he is a coward because of his phobias. He has notable courage and confidence as well. He's willing to stand up and defend himself, but this is usually because someone's criticism angered him.
Powers/Abilities:
Size: Cody knows how to use his 5'5 stature to full use. He is pretty agile and is a very fast runner.
Light Immunity: Lights cannot disorient him unless they are brighter than he is capable of producing.
Light: Cody has the mutant power to generate light. He can use this in a few different ways. Enough that I made light underlines and italicized. He's used his light in a few different ways:
Light flash: A really bright flash of light. You ever stare at the sun for a second? Imagine that effect while in a fight.
Light eyes!: He can illuminate his eyes. Keeping eye contact is real difficult and he gets scary.
Light Patterns: Have you seen Kick Ass? Cody can do the Hit Girl rescue scene.
Light Disorientation: Cody can cause disorientation and nausea in opponents. It depends on how sensitive to light they are.
Flashlight: He can cause just enough light so people can see in a dark room. It's good for finding stuff.
Strobe Light!: Put him on your party list and it'll be the best party you've ever been to.
Psychological Flaws:
Athazagoraphobia: The fear of being ignored. Cody does not like being ignored, due to his struggle with rejection and desire to fit in with society.
Catagelophobia: The fear of being ridiculed, also due to rejection issues.
Claustrophobia: The fear of confined spaces. Cody doesn't like small spaces or heavy crowds. He enjoys elbow room.
Enissophobia: The fear of being criticized. He feels different from everyone else, being a mutant in a town that hates mutants. He knows his kind is hated, and criticism cuts him to the bone.
Eremophobia: A morbid dread of being alone. Cody was all alone that night, and being alone makes him extremely anxious and nervous. You can almost always find him in a public place, like the mall or a popular restaurant.
Hematophobia: The fear of blood. Cody was bleeding like crazy when he was beaten. Bleeding at all can bring back memories of that night. This won't always stop at making him nervous and anxious. This can make him freak.
Necrophobia: The fear of dying. He is very aware of his mortality, and when bad gets to worse, he's been known to bolt.
Ophthalmophobia: The fear of being stared at. I could bring up how he hates to be judged and criticized and the is an extension of that, but seriously, who likes being stared at?

Mutant: A lot of people don't think very highly of mutants. It can make surviving a little difficult at times.
Light: If it's a brightly lit room, the opponent's eyes are adjusted to the light, making his powers significantly less effective. However, the darker it is, the better it benefits his abilities.
Brief History:
Cody had a pretty normal and uneventful childhood. He lived in a nice house in a nice neighborhood with his father and little sister, Marcy. He was well liked at school. He was thought highly of in the community, and he had two best friends, Lorie and Kyle.
Life was comfortable, and he was content. He had the whole white picket fence thing going on. But if it stayed that way, I would be role-playing him on a site like this. It was a cold January day. Cody was driving home from the mall. As usual, he took the cloverleaf. The roads were icy and the night was dark. Unfortunately, he lost control of the car, and he went rolling down a hill in his car. It was a pretty severe accident, and he was knocked out. Thing is, he was a mutant. He was born with powers, and the accident was bad enough to trigger his abilities. And so, his body lit up the car brighter than Las Vegas.
Word got out that he was a human strobe light, and his town wasn't known for liking muties. Most people started ignoring him. Some talked behind his back. Even his relationship with his dad got rocky. However, Lorie and Kyle were there for him through thick and then.
But the worst was yet to come. One night he was walking home alone in a creepy stereotypical walk here and he will get jumped alleyway. Some people with serious problems with mutants attacked him. By the time a car stopped and scared them off, he was a broken and bloody mess. The malicious attack traumatized him far worse than the car accident. He developed some phobias because of it. He changed some, and anyone who knew him could tell. That glow in his eyes was different. Dimmer. But Kyle and Lorie were still there to pick up the pieces. He felt safe around them, which became a very rare feeling. They became more important than anything to him. They gave him hope and strength that he had lost in himself.
