Cordelia Chase was currently in a very good mood. Hyped up on her morning coffee(Decaf? As if.), she'd spent most of the day scurrying from store to store, overwhelmed by a sudden major case of shopping withdrawal. After all, she hadn't shopped since...before she'd been possessed by an ancient demon, put in a coma, and faced certain death? ...Yes, that sounded about right. Needless to say, she was elated to be reunited with her credit card. The brunette strolled down the busy New York streets, slightly weighted down by the multiple bags she was carrying, but not at all deterred. Right now, this day was going pretty darn well.
Of course, knowing this city, her luck wouldn't last for long. Sooner or later, some monster or zombie or...maybe just a plain ol' creepy hobo was going to come along and ruin everything. It was simply the way her life worked. Cordy huffed as she was struck by this thought, but refused to let it put a damper on things just yet. As of now, this beautiful bright sunny day was absolutely uneventful...and she was going to enjoy it as long as fate allowed her to.
Hmm. Maybe it would be better to find a place to sit while she got herself organized, though. After all, it was probably a good idea to keep track of how much she was spending. She was a half-demon, evil-fighting guardian of all things good and innocent, after all. She had to be at least somewhat responsible. Smirking slightly in amusement, she worked her way over to a nearby bus bench. Because of the crowded condition of the streets, she was forced to elbow a few unfortunate people. "'Scuse me! Coming through here--hey, watch the hands, buddy." She snapped a shady figure's retreating back, before finally seating herself. Sheesh, New York City was quite the adventure. All that drama just to get a seat at the bus stop.
Now slightly disheveled, Cordelia sighed and pulled out her receipts. Scanning the list of prices, she furrowed her brow slightly. She was verging on over-spending, but overall not a record-breaking splurge. Although, if this was to continue, she knew should really begin to think about some official employment. As of now, she was still doing some freelance detective work, but it turned out that she wasn't quite as effective without the rest of the Fang Gang behind her. Still, she was supposed to be helping people. That was the deal behind the whole 'second shot at life' thing, after all. She knew she couldn't abandon her detective work completely for these reasons, but even so it would've been nice to be make a little extra cash now and then. Starbucks was probably hiring...
And then, seemingly out of nowhere, she saw them. A couple of kids running through Central Park, making a ridiculous amount of noise--in the middle of the night, no less. Wait a minute...in the middle of the night? Last time she'd checked, it was 1:30 in the afternoon. Which could only mean that what she was currently experiencing was the latest of her 'wonderful' visions. Joy. But with no other choice, Cordy uneasily allowed the scene to play out before her: Central Park. A small group of kids messing around. Right, she got that part. Another flash, and then...oh, gross! Zombies! And a whole bunch of them at that. The kids seemed oblivious to their presence...why wouldn't they turn around? Oh god, they were gonna...
With a violent shudder, the brunette was suddenly brought back to her current place and time. Eyes wide, Cordelia cast a frantic look around her. This definitely wasn't good. Not the whole zombies-nomming-on-the-poor-kiddies part--well, actually, that wasn't good either--but at least she would have plenty time to stop it. What Cordy was more concerned about at the moment was whether or not anyone around her had noticed anything strange. When she was experiencing a vision, sometimes odd things tended to happen. Things that made her stick out like a sore thumb, even in a place like this. But then...everything seemed normal. Okay. This...this was good. Blinking, she turned to pick up her bags, only to find them distinctly out of her reach. Half-panicked, Cordelia glanced down at her feet in alarm.
She was floating. She was floating in the middle of a New York City street. This was just fabulous.

Melinda walked towards the bus stop with her family as they were going to take a bus back to the hotel, well a place that they stayed in anyway. As they waited for the bus they saw a woman levitate from the ground in to the air. They watched confused as Aiden exclaimed. "Wow, cool" the kid said excitedly. Both Melinda and Jim looked down at their son as he looked at them. As he smiled at them they smiled back they looked at each other and after that they all looked back at the woman. They couldn't believe what was going on and by the looks of it they were not the only ones. A lots of people gathered around to watch the floating woman. A lots of people gasped. Some even yelled and screamed at the site. Melinda and Jim with their son looked around then at each other yet again.
"Are you a...alright?" Melinda asked as she looked up curiously. After that she looked around as did her husband who held their son. She together with her family moved a bit closer to the place the young woman hanged over. "How d..did you got there?" she wondered as her husband and son agreed with her. It all made no sense to them and yet it was true which surprised them a great deal. It was very interesting to them that someone could even do that.
"What in the world? Get down from there lady. How the hell did you got there anyway?" an old woman call as everyone looked at her. Jim and Melinda exchanged looks slightly amused by the way the old woman acted. Then they looked at the son and back up at the young floating woman. They were shocked to even hear the old woman say what she said. As they trully didn/'t expect that at all.
"Should we get y..you some help, miss?" Melinda asked curiously. As Jim wondered the same thing too. Then they exchanged looks once more and after that looked back at Cordelia. "There is no way she is levitating. She is definitely on wires" a woman yelled from the let side of Melinda. Everyone from the crowed looked at her as Did Jim, Melinda and Aiden. As Jim and Melinda exchanged looks again and sighed as they looked back up.
"Mel, I am not sure what to think. But I believe she is definitely stuck" Jim said to Melinda as she looked at him then up again. "I am not sure what to think either, Jim. To tell the truth but I agree with you " Melinda replied to her husband as they looked at each other and up again. All this time they were being pushed as they tried to get closer. 'The question is, how can anyone possibly help her?" she added. Melinda looked at her husband as she asked this as he sighed and shrugged then both looked up once more. They were parasitically glued to each other, not that they minded much but they were being squashed by other people too which they couldn't stand. Which was why they complained whenever they could. After all they wanted some room.
"This is insane. Stop this people from taking pictures" A woman that held a baby in her arms said over sudden as a lots of people looked at her then at the people who took pictures. Jim handed Aiden to Mel as they kissed a quick kiss then he went and got rid of the once who took pictures. It wasn't easy but he pulled that off as a lots of people watched him do that. Including Melinda and Aiden who were proud of him. "Well dome young man" an old woman said as he looked at her with a smile then returned to stand near Melinda and Aiden. Both hugged him as he hugged them back. "I am proud of you, Jim" Melinda smiled and kissed him. Jim returned both the smiled and the kiss as Aiden just hugged them. "I was great, wasn't I?"Jim said with a small smirk on his face as Melinda nodded. "Yeah, you were" she kissed him again as he kissed her back. "But what about her?" Melinda added as she looked up as Jim and Aiden did too, as well as the rest. "Yeah, what about her?" A woman behind them said. Then there was a lots of shouting and talking. It was so loud that it was hard to hear.

Oh this was just great! Cordy glared frustratedly at the crowd her little stunt had attracted. Of course this would happen. She couldn't even go one day without some kind of...supernatural interruption! This was New York City, for crying out loud! Any other time, you couldn't get these people to look up from their newspapers long enough to notice anything around them. Yet suddenly they all seemed to be so observant. How was she even supposed to explain a thing like this? Her irritation slowly beginning to turn into anxiety, Cordelia stared longingly down at the ground. If she could just get herself down....
"Wow, cool!"
A child's voice rose above the fretful mutterings of the crowd. Surprised, she turned to look at the kid who had spoken. He looked like he couldn't be much older than five or six, and he was accompanied by who she assumed were his parents. Cordy eyed the family uneasily, wondering whether the couple would rebuke her for...being a demonic influence on their child, or something. This didn't seem to be the case however, because a moment later the mother approached her and asked if she was alright. Huh. Well at least someone bothered to ask, rather than just stare at her as if she were some kind of freak.
Smiling nervously down at the woman and her family, Cordy choked out an awkward little laugh. "I'm just peachy! Having the time of my life up here, actually." she replied, her cheery tone edged with a note of sarcasm. Her eyes darted over to the cranky old woman who had just loudly voiced her disapproval, and fixed her with an indignant scowl. Seriously? She was surprised the old bat could even see her. But before Cordelia could voice an indignant retort, the younger woman--the one with the child--was speaking to her again, asking if she needed help. Boy did she ever. Unfortunately, she doubted that the woman could give her the kind of 'help' she needed, unless she was a psychiatrist or something.
"It's okay. Just give me a sec and I should be able to...uh. Get down." She tried to sound reassuring even as she stared uncertainly down at the sidewalk just a couple of feet below her. Having been only recently brought back, Cordelia was finding that she had yet to regain control of some of her powers. She remembered something similar to this happening when she first became half demon. But that had been in the safety of Angel's hotel, not in the crowded streets of New York. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and tried to concentrate. Down, she thought pleadingly. Down...down...
Snap!Snap!Snap!
Cordy's eyes snapped open, and she gaped down at the crowd. People were seriously taking pictures now? Oh, they were so dead. If she ended up on the front page of the morning paper, someone was gonna get it. "Okay, REALLY though? Don't you people have somewhere else to be?!" Thoroughly exasperated, she held up her hands, trying to at least block out some of the flashes. Luckily for her, however, the little family who had seemed so concerned for her had noticed this as well. She breathed a sigh of relief as the boy's father made his way over to the cameramen and eventually convinced them to disperse. Now that she didn't have them to worry about, maybe she'd actually be able to focus on fixing this little situation.
She closed her eyes again, her brow furrowed in concentration. After a moment or two of complete stillness, she slowly but surely lowered herself back down to the ground. Nice landing, too. Cordy popped one eye open, almost afraid it was too good to be true. But sure enough, she was standing on solid ground and everything seemed normal again. Smiling, she turned to the remaining crowd and tried to force a cheery little grin. "Just some movie magic for ya, folks! Hope you enjoyed it.." It was probably unlikely that all of them would be satisfied with this explanation, but it was worth a shot. Turning her back and hoping they'd get the hint, Cordy stepped over to the family who had helped her.
"..Sorry about that. Not really the first impression I like to give people. But anyway, thank you both for your help." She told the couple earnestly.

Melinda and her family, as well as the rest pf the crowed, watched the whole thing that happened shocked and confused. However, as soon as they worried about the young woman again they saw her go slowly down amazed. The crowed which included Melinda and her family were confused as they listened to her explain. They were not sure what to think or do about that. It was more then they ever imagined that was for sure. When Cordelia turned her back to the crowed and walked towards her and her family, Melinda just smiled and nodded to her. As did her husband and son.
The crowned meanwhile just left as Cordelia spoke to Melinda and her husband. They listened to her and nodded. "You are very welcome, Miss" Jim said. "As my husband said. We haven't gotten your name. I am Melinda but most people call me, Mel. This guy is my husband and his name is.... Sam and that how people call him. Or Doctor Lucas if at work" she said. It hurt her just as it hurt Jim when she had to call him Sam because he was Jim in Sam's body. Yet over time they got used to it since it had to be done. Since as far as the world was concerned he was Sam Lucas not Jim Clancy who he really was.
Melinda and Jim exchanged looks then looked back at Cordelia. "And this is our son, Aiden Lucas" Jim finished for her. Aiden just waved to her with a smile. "Hello, nice to meet you" Aiden said to Cordelia. Jim and Melinda looked at him smiling then back at Cordelia, also with a smile. "And about that, it's alright. We understand. It was very strange and weird, as well as slightly spooky but all in all it was fine. I mean not fine as in good yeah, just fine as in the first impression isn't always as expect. At times nor the second. We know as we went through that before too" Jim said to Cordelia as Melinda nodded in agreement.
"It was so cool. How did you do that?" Aiden asked her. Jim and Melinda exchanged looks then looked at their son. "Aiden, that's not polite" Melinda said. "We are sorry about it, he is just over exited" Jim explained to Cordelia as both Melinda and Aiden looked between him and Cordelia. "Yeah exactly" Melinda said with a nod of agreement. She looked at Cordelia too as she said this. "Kids are always exited about things like that. Well most of them anyway" Melinda said to her as her husband looked at her then their son. After that her husband too looked back at the woman in front of them.
"What are you? You don't exactly seem like a regular human. I know you are not a ghost whisperer like me because your gift isn't like mine. " Melinda said as she looked at her. Jim looked at her then at their son, after that at the woman once more. "What were you doing when you levitated? If you don't mind me asking. Don't worry we all can keep secrets. We already keep some so. Not many people know I am ghost whisperer and that my son is in away like me." Melinda added. She was asking because she thought that perhaps they could help each other out, somehow. While when Aiden asked it was because he was exited and curious, just for the hell of it. Not to mention it looked fun to him.
Melinda looked at her husband and son then back at Cordelia. "Wanna get something to eat with us?" Melinda asked her curiously. When she looked at her son he looked her then at his father, after that at the other woman again.

If there was one thing the snarky brunette had a soft spot for, it was kids. Cordelia pretty much adored them--because they were cute, not so much for the 'motherhood' aspects. After all, the last time she was pregnant she'd ended up in a coma. Needless to say, any maternal longings for a child of her own had been lessened considerably, but that didn't mean she couldn't get all googly-eyed over other people's kids. And so, although Cordy was slightly taken aback by his enthusiasm, the warm smile she gave Aiden was genuine. "Oh, don't worry about it! I don't mind." She gently assured them when Melinda apologized for her son's behavior.
The crowd seemed to be dispersing, to her immense relief. With any luck, the little incident would pass for one of New York's typical crazy stunts, and would soon be forgotten. Besides, weren't there like, zombies walking the streets? You'd think these people would be used to the abnormal by now. She sighed inwardly, but decided that she wouldn't worry about it until she had to. At least she had managed to find a few genuinely helpful people in this place. "It's nice to meet you all." Cordy told Melinda and her family, finally beginning to relax a little. "I'm Cordelia Chase...Cordy's fine, though." Her gaze flickered between Melinda and Sam, and softened. It was kind of nice to come across a family who seemed so happy together. A genuine touch of normalcy in this wacky world.
Apparently they weren't as normal as they appeared, however. Cordelia had been surprised--although admittedly relieved--when their reaction to her...erm, mishap, was fairly accepting. And she couldn't help but wonder why. If she had ever come across someone floating back before she got involved with these supernatural matters, she would've most definitely freaked. But her questions were answered a moment later when Melinda mentioned the...gift that she and her son both shared. A ghost whisperer?! Cordy's eyes widened in amazement, unsure if she'd actually heard correctly. This was confirmed when Melinda repeated the term. "Hold on. You talk to ghosts?!" She asked, astounded. That was a new one. "That's...well, that's amazing! Can you do it, like, all the time? Y'know, I used to have a ghost in my old apartment..." She trailed off, grinning at the memory of Dennis. The brief silence also gave her the opportunity to notice...how much she'd been talking. "...Sorry, I was babbling." she giggled sheepishly, although 'babbling' wasn't actually an uncommon occurrence with her.
Cordelia really wanted to hear more about this...ghost whispering. How did it work? Could Melinda see...ghosts right here, walking the street? Wow. That'd be kinda freaky. The brunette thought, looking suspiciously at the open space around her as if she expected to feel a ghost brush past her at any moment. But at the mention of her own unfortunate little gift, Cordy's smile faded slightly. Right. About that. She didn't care much for casually discussing it, and normally she wouldn't. But seeing as Melinda had been open with her about her own abilities, it seemed only fair. Besides, the little family really didn't seem the type to go blabbing it everywhere. But where, oh where to begin?
"Oh, that...yeah, I guess I kinda owe you an explanation. I kind of have...visions. You know, of the future and stuff. But sometimes there are a few freaky side effects, kinda like what just happened." Cordy explained rather awkwardly. This reminded her, though, of the vision she'd just had. Those kids, in the park, at night... She glanced at her watch. There was still time to sort that out, she supposed. And if she agreed to get something to eat with these people, maybe they would even be able to help her. Just Melinda and Sam, of course--she wouldn't want to see Aiden anywhere near those zombie freaks.
"And actually...yeah. Eating sounds good." Was her answer.

Bridget enjoyed New York, sure it had a slight epidemic with zombies and hosted some of the rudest people you could possibly find, but he liked it. He strolled along idly, garnering a few stares from the people around him due to his very unique outfit. You'd think for a guy as sweet and innocent as him he'd dress a bit more appropriately, but it was just how he's dressed for so long he'd not want to ever dress any different. His boots crunched over the small amounts of snow as he looked around for at least something to do. Bridget often randomly walked around cities in search of adventure and friendship, it was how he met just about everyone he possibly knows. Suddenly, something caught his eye in the background. A woman coming down from a levitation and a group dispersing from her while she spoke to a family. "OHMYGOSH!" he squealed out. Bridget's only real knowledge of that kind of magic was from Gears, the very people that he was sent to take down. However, no description of this woman was on his list so it's possible she's a friendly."Only one way to find out!" the teen said to himself as he ran up to the family and the previously levitating woman.
Bridget stopped with a skid and looked sheepishly at the brunette that had been just previously floating. "You're not evil, right? I mean, uhh, you don't look it. I know evil people, and none look like you.. Uhh, am I right?" Bridget babbled on, he really didn't want to have to arrest this person and the only real way to find out in his mind is to just ask. He stared upwards as the woman was still a few inches above his very short frame. He was still a bit scared though and visibly so. He never really won any fights against superpowered beings by himself and if this woman did attack he's likely screwed.

They all watched her and listened to her. Melinda was glad that Cordelia wasn't annoyed that Aiden asked her what he asked. Jim was glad that Cordelia wasn't mad at them nor Aiden too. They all smiled at Cordelia. They liked her as a person already, even if she was more then a regular human. The would admit that she was rather interesting person so.
They watched her closely. When the crowed left they were relived just as they were sure that she was too. They cared for her a great deal no matter what, even if they only just met. As they heard her say what she said they just smiled at her. "Nice to meet you to,Cordy" they all said that to her together. They added her name once she told them her name.
They watched her as everything else happened. They felt that they could trust her, which was rather surprising but a plus just the same. "Yes I am, my son does too. Also he can see things that I can't too though.". They looked at each other then back at her. They were rather surprised and confused that they trusted her so easy. Yet it made things a lot easier on them too. "Yes all the time, since I myself was a little girl I could see ghosts or earth bound spirits as my grandmother called them. Who also was a ghost whisperer." Melinda looked at Jim then both looked at Aiden who at that moment was talking to a ghost. Then both looked at Cordelia once more. "It can be cool and free together"
It felt nice to share that with someone or so they thought. It was also a lot easier for sure. They could tell that she was rather excited about what they told her as they waited for her to speak about herself. As they heard her speak once more they just sighed as they looked back at her. They all this time hoped that she would tell them about herself and when she spoke again they listened even if she didn't told them about herself just yet and even if she told them a little bit.
"Yeah you do but only if you want to, if not then not. You can tell even later when we get to know each other better. Either way it would be fine too. Visions? That's interesting. I got that too but off the past but not a lot so, mostly when i touch a person or an object related to the spirit. Oh, well that explains it and yeah it is freaky, it is easy to tell really" Melinda said as Jim agreed with her. "As Melinda said" Jim said simply. Here and there Jim was trying to get his son to stop talking to a ghost where he stood or at least to be careful. They looked at each other then at their son and after that back at Cordelia. "Looks like there is a ghost here anyway"
"Really? hat's great" Melinda said as Jim agreed and then the ghost disappeared before Melinda went over. "Pizza or normal food?" Melinda asked. As they heard another voice, Melinda and her family looked over at the person then back at Cordelia.

Listening to the family's explanation of their ghostly interactions, Cordelia couldn't help but marvel at the blatant weirdness of the entire situation. As if to emphasize this observation, Aiden had begun to speak to...what appeared to be thin air. Partly wary and partly fascinated, she watched the little scene play out as Jim tried to dissuade his son from doing so. And sure enough, only seconds later...
"Looks like there is a ghost here anyway."
Wow. The idea of spirits walking the streets on a regular basis would take some getting used to. According to Melinda, after all, it was a fairly common occurrence. But Cordy supposed it made sense, particularly in a city like this. As morbid as it was to consider, people died all the time in New York. And the added bonus of the current invasion of the undead didn't exactly lower the death rate. "Huh. I guess you have your work cut out for you, what with the zombie pandemic and all.." she mused aloud, and then almost laughed at her own casualness. You knew your life was crazy when you talked about zombie attacks the same way you talked about the weather. Zombies, vampires, ghosts...there was a point when it became easier just to take it all in stride rather than question their existence. Cordy had to wonder how Melinda could live with it, though. Seeing ghosts all the time? It seemed enough to drive anyone crazy. When did she ever get a moment's rest?
Instead of immediately answering their last question, she paused to consider. She could really go for a sandwich right about now...or maybe a nice salad. That was one of the things she loved about New York. There were so many choices! So many styles, cultures... and so many flesh-eating zombies, but she'd just ignore that little detail. Cordelia never decided what she was hungry for, however, because before she could answer she was distracted by the arrival of what appeared to be a teenage girl. The brunette turned to face her, slightly bemused. The girl looked as if she couldn't be much older than sixteen or seventeen...and also appeared to be rather intimidated.
"You're not evil, right? I mean, uhh, you don't look it. I know evil people, and none look like you.. Uhh, am I right?"
Cordy stared at the girl blankly, too thrown by the question to make the connection between this and her previous display of levitation. "What..? Evil?" she repeated, nonplussed. She knew she could be a tad bitchy at times, but did she really come off as--oh. Oh. Right. Cordelia's expression immediately changed from confused to abashed. This girl, she assumed, had probably been witness to the little accident that had happened earlier. That, or she was alarmed by the absurd amount of shopping bags near Cordelia's feet, but the latter seemed kind of unlikely.
"Oh, you mean...with the floating and the...well, no! No, I'm not. Granted, if you catch me before my morning coffee I can get pretty close to it, but.." Cordy grinned a bit, although she felt sort of guilty. The teenager looked slightly frightened, a fact which the brunette assumed she was responsible for. She tried to sound slightly more reassuring when she spoke again. "..But, no. No evilness going on here." she said, glancing over at Melinda and her family and then back at the girl. "Unless you're evil, of course, but I think it's safe to assume otherwise."

Bridget saw that one of the women looked at him, he looked down a bit after having asked that question. The lady that was once floating responded actually rather nicely, most with powers simply abuse them and the people around them. This lady seemed much different. "Oh no! I'm not evil. Evil people are totally mean. I don't like them. I'm Bridget. the hyper teen piped up in his shrill and high British accent. He often annoyed people around him due to him being cheerful almost all of the time and rarely actually focusing on the matter at hand and going off in to tangents. It wasn't his fault, he was just excitable and quirky.
Bridget stared at the two with his curious eyes, he often had a confused look upon his face when dealing with new people, especially those with some serious powers. He wanted to ask so many questions about how that worked but didn't want to overwhelm the new (possible) friend. Instead, he stood there, gazing up and wondering just what to say. Bridget often had that problem, he was chatty and talkative but generally shy around people he doesn't really know, including this lot. Most of the time people don't tend to react too well to Bridget and his hyper-cheerful ways. Maybe this will be different. (OOC: short post, I know. Sorry about that)

Melinda looked between the two with a smile. She heard what Cordelia told her and nodded at her as she saw Cordelia turn to look at the other person. "Boy or girl?" Melinda asked as she really wanted to know. She looked around then back at her. Melinda smiled at both Cordelia and Bridget. She Then looked at Jim and Aiden who felt in away left out if at all. Jim then picked up Aiden as Melinda watched that with a smile then looked at both Cordelia and Bridget. She wondered why her husband and son were ignored when they actually stood there after all but said nothing about it, for now anyways.
(sorry it's so short, grr)

Cordy wasn't quite sure what to make of the teen who'd just introduced herself as Bridget. Obviously, she was very curious...and, while the brunette knew first impressions weren't always accurate, she thought it was safe to say that Bridget was quite energetic as well. The half-demon woman was again a bit taken aback, but after a moment her smile widened slightly. For as long as she'd been in here in New York, she had been convinced of the blatant monotony of its citizens. Everyone(everyone who hadn't evacuated because of the zombies, that is) seemed so dull, and the crowds were so...faceless. Today, however, the people she seemed to be running into were very interesting to say the least.
"Good to know!" Cordelia replied, her tone a mingling of amusement and interest. Of course, Bridget could have been lying, but somehow...she kind of doubted it. "I'm Cordelia--or Cordy, if you'd prefer something less pretentious. Sorry if I startled you." she said in reference to the scene Bridget had obviously just witnessed. From what she could judge, most of the teen's fear seemed to have been replaced by curiosity, but an apology couldn't hurt all the same.
She had to admit, she was a bit curious about Bridget as well. But out of the several different questions going through her head...none of them had exactly been concerning gender. So when Melinda asked whether Bridget was a boy or a girl, Cordy looked over at the ghost whisperer with an expression that could only be described as "WTF?". Had she missed something? Raising an eyebrow, Cordelia turned back to Bridget and examined...her?...a little more closely. The teen certainly looked feminine...and had, after all, just introduced herself as 'Bridget'.
Huh. This was odd. She knew her socializing skills were a little rusty, seeing as she'd been dead for the past few years, but...she'd have to be a bit disappointed in herself if she couldn't even tell a guy from a girl. Effectively puzzled, Cordy said nothing more.

Bridget stood around, staring at the two of them. His face looking somewhat puzzled as he stared at the two. One of the women was with two members of her family, Bridget looked towards the one who had a man and a young boy with her. Seems like she asked if he was a boy or a girl, at the least it's better than most who blindly assume he's just a girl. "I'm a boy. Thanks for not going on the assumption that I'm a girl though. Bridget's main problem was his femininity, it was hard to shake the girly image and if at times he acted manly it came off as far from intimidating as possible. "Hi Cordy, nice name. Bridget said with a smile.
"What are your names?" Bridget said with an inquisitive look towards the family. Bridget really had to envy those with a perfect family life, he had one years ago but was banished from it. It's odd that he hasn't seen his mother, father or even his twin brother in what seems like an eternity.
