Pizza, pizza! (Open XD)

[Terra]

Thankfully for Tony's Pizza, they were in one of the safest areas New York had to offer. Probably because the mafia liked the Italian foods in the district and defended the place because they paid in food. Either way though, Terra was still pretty surprised that even though she had to avoid some zombie dogs SOMEWHERE on the mainland was actually pretty safe! Granted, it was a huge city so maybe she should of expected that. Anyway, this blond traveler with a pair of goggles around her neck and a bag upon her back with a slight look of confusion written all over her composure. Someone said there was a promotional offer going on for this place where if someone could eat their biggest pizza pie in under two hours, it was all theirs for free! What happened if they couldn't eat it?

Well...the contestant would have a mighty big bill on their hands...or in her case a few days of washing dishes and scrubbing floors to work off the debt. Not having a whole lot of money was a bit of a pain, good news for her is she had a way with working things out so life was kinda good as long as her powers didn't go berserk. Grasping onto the straps of her bag with those gloved hands of hers, the scrawny, lanky teen followed after the waitress who was now guiding her over to a table. Taking off her bag placing it in the spot next to her in the little booth once she took a seat, those sky blue optics of hers looked over the menu before picking it up and looking for the big freebie meal of doom. That's right, DOOM, one of the larger customers just so happened to think they could destroy that beastly meal but to no avail, the challenger was defeated. "You know what you want, dear?" Hearing the inquiry of the waitress, she lifted her head up for a moment and pointed to the menu with a smile which grew across her lips while saying, "I'll take the pizza monster special challenge! ....oh and a water!"

Eager as can be even though her last sentence was a bit of an after thought, the traveler handed the menu back to the waitress who was in complete shock that someone so skinny wanted to eat all of that or even try. Who was she to say anything, "A-alright, eat it in two hours and it's all yours for free." "I know, thanks!" Leaning back in the cushioned seat before stretching, she really couldn't wait for a real meal! Eating bugs with berries was pretty gross, and they didn't have sugar coating either, but at least it kept her alive and able to continue her life of constantly being on the move. Plus, it seemed like no one here even heard of the Galapagos incident or anything about her which was one of the best things life could offer her. A new, fresh start by just going somewhere else...it wasn't so horrible after all!

Another good thing about this day is soon, she'd have a BIG, free pizza! That was something to look forward to, she felt like pizza was probably the closest thing to home next to the Earth being her home, of course. The Italian dish always seemed to give her a warm fuzzy feeling, almost like she had good memories with it in another life or something. All she knew was that whoever made it was considerably one of the most amazing people in the world to have ever lived!

Reno stopped with his bike next to a pizza place and then he got off and walked in. he never heard of the special offer until he got in but he refused to get it as he doubted that he could ever finish it anyway. Besides Reno didn’t need a to start feeling bad or anything and eating a huge pizza was a good way to make that happen. Which was why he tried avoiding, also knowing Bobby he knew that he will give it a try and no doubt will pull that off since he was addicted to food no matter what. However since Reno was alone not with the others he wasn’t going to get the big pizza. Instead he ordered a small one with some coffee and paid for it. After that he looked for a place to sit as he found it next to a young woman. “I hope you don’t mind but if you do I would move then” he said to her. Reno looked around then back at her as he watched people walk in and out before looking back at her.

He saw a waitress bring over her order and watched it all shocked. “You seriously are going to eat that? It’s a lot” he said to her surprised. Reno was shocked and confused by that as he never expected anyone to even try something lie that. Even if it was to get it for free once you are done on time and all. It surprised him that the competition even existed. Since it was almost impossible if not completely impossible. Reno thought that it would have better then just give the pizza for free to whoever had no money and all. Since getting that big of a pizza might create trouble for poor people and all. Besides it helped no one but the owner which wasn’t to nice. Ok, so it also helped people who had a strong stomach. It wasn’t worth it because not many people were like that, that was for sure. Reno wasn’t expecting to see someone actually do that. Which was why he was surprised by that. Reno watched her as he wondered would she actually be able to do that. Somehow he doubted but said nothing not to seem mean and all. Reno then took a bike from his pizza and a sip from his coffee as soon as the waitress brought over his order.

He then looked at Terra again as he waited to see what would happen next and all. Reno found her to be an interesting person so far. He believed if it was meant to be then eventually they might actually became friends, who knew. Reno didn’t mind either way as he wasn’t going force her to be his friend or anything, however he was still hoping that she would agree to be friends with him. Anyway, right now all he thought about what was she going to do and all. Truth be told Reno was slightly worried, even so he tried to stop himself from worrying. “You Don’t have to do it, you do know that, right?” he asked her curiously as he waited for her to reply, as he wondered what would she possibly say. Reno did hope that she knew that. Because if she did that to prove something to someone then it was rather stupid thing to do.

Before Reno came to the pizza place he caught few bounties as well as hanged out with his friends. Also it was true that today he was caught by the cops, yet temporary so. If not for Bobby, Chey and Sandy he would have stayed arrested forever. They came them claiming that Reno was arrested by accident because he looks like the wanted fugitive, however it wasn’t him. Of course they called him Vince not Reno but still. It took a bit of time but it worked. Reno was very grateful for them even so he wasn’t surprised that they did that as he expected that much from them. After all they always helped one another, no matter what since they cared a lot for each other.

Waving her hands a bit as she continued to stretch, she closed her eyes for a moment with a big ol' smile as though she had the life. In her opinion, she kinda did! Sure, sure her powers when they went out of control were less of a blessing and more of a curse, but those powers helped her save people too. Kinda making her a hero and it was something she was happy about, even liked! Reopening her eyes, she watched the waitress come back with a glass of water and telling her "Your order should be done soon," Taking the water and guzzling it down in one big gulp like an Irish guy would tank a beer, she held the cup up to the waitress saying, "Cool! But uh, think I could get more water while you're back there? I'd REALLY appreciate it!"

What was weird is she was so casual about it, her manners were a little off, but at least she had them all the same. The puzzled waitress went off to the back once more looking as though she was more shocked by a scrawny girl chugging a glass of water and request for the challenge rather than the undead monstrosities trudging around and about here and there. Plus the lady's walk was totally stiff too, kinda like a board. Oh right! She forgot to thank her! "OH! Thanks!" Flopping her hands at her sides, she looked around at the various paintings. Part of her was curious about how these guys got supplies to stay in business, but the shady, suited fellows kinda hinted off it was with assistance in the gun department.

Though, when some guy randomly walked on over and took a seat next to her which was a little bit of a surprise. Not to mention he even seemed to tell her that he'd move if she minded him sitting next to her. "'Course I don't mind! Food's always better around other people, right?" After those words passed her lips with a optimistic, tomboyish tone to it, that's when she took in the smell of freshly baked pizza in a ridiculous quantity. Turning to look at the waitress who brought something better than water, the lanky girl couldn't help but grin as her eyes got a bit more wide. Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy! This was probably going to help tame her hunger for a good while or at least tide her over until another opportunity presented itself like a beam of holy light.

In her own little mind, when that ridiculously big pizza was placed upon the table...it was surrounded by sparkles and a random ray of holy light. Though back to reality it was just a huge, delicious looking pizza that could get about five or so people full. Licking her lips, she grabbed onto one of the slices but realized the guy who parked himself next to her and took note of his average sized order. Weird, he actually seemed shocked about her order and asked if she was really going to eat all of it and even stated how it was a lot. Maybe it was a lot of food...but it was free and she was practically starving! Nodding a couple of times, to answer his question, she quickly turned back to the food and began munching slice after slice after slice as though she was some sort of eating machine. Maybe being a bit of a glutton was helpful for this kinda thing?

By the time he spoke to her again, she had already downed about one fourth of the pizza and turned her attention back to him with her cheeks a bit stuffed. Taking a huge gulp of the pizza in her mouth, the waitress came back with a glass of water as well as a pitcher then placed it on a free spot upon the table before standing there in shock and awe. How someone like that could eat so much was beyond the worker! "It's ok, really! This is the first real thing I've eaten in weeks....think they'll let me get another one?!" With such an excited, yet curious tone, she smiled brightly as though this was possibly the best day EVER and grabbed another slice of pizza while waving over to the waitress speaking with her mouth full enough to skew her words a little bit as she blurted out, "Fffanks ffffor the waterrrr!" Turning back to the huge pizza before her, she used both hands again and began eating slice after slice once again.

Pausing for a moment half way through, she held out her hand to him for a handshake and had a late reaction of sorts, "The name's Terra! Sorry, kinda forgot to introduce myself earlier..." Honestly, she felt a little stupid for not introducing herself earlier, it was one of the manners she tried to maintain. It wasn't so easy when she had food right in front of her which was gonna be as good as free when she got around to finishing up the rest of it. Obviously, she had more than enough time for a quick introduction seeing how there was more than an hour left so it wasn't hurting her time at all! All around them, some people literally stopped eating just to stare at the girl who seemed to have a black hole for a stomach with their mouths agape at the abnormal sight. Except for that guy who was moaning and groaning in pain face first on his unfinished pizza. Yeah, unlike that guy, she was just fine and had room for much more!

Reno watched her shocked and confused, he wasn’t even sure what to think about her at all. He never met someone like her, well kind of like her yes but not exactly like her so. Bobby was the only guy Reno knew that was in away like Terra but not exactly though. They were in away a like to him but he was glad that they were not hundred percent a like, at least he doubted that they were hundred percent a like. It looked that way so far anyway. Reno watched her and the waitress and sighed as it all seemed strange as well as interesting to him. He was shocked and speechless when he saw the young woman gulp the whole water so fast. Reno never saw something like that, sure his best friend and partner Bobby was fast but not that fast so. He stared at that for a while as he watched her order more and sighed as he looked between the two.

Reno saw all that since he was pretty close by then and all. He watched the waitress do what she did and all as he noticed how confused and puzzled the waitress was which haven’t surprised him at all. Reno
wondered how the girl could even drink that much, she was just a young girl, young woman not older then 16, max 19 or so and yet the way she gulped the water in didn’t seem like a normal thing for someone so young as her. It didn’t seem right for older people like Bobby either of course but that was a different story so. Reno noticed the girl say thank you to the waitress which was kind of her and rather s mart too. Yet either way the girl didn’t look like a mean or cruel person, at least not to him anyway. In fact she looked rather like a well mannered girl just it seemed that she just forgot which happened to a lots of people. Yet she didn’t seem like a rude person either.

Then he walked much closer and set by her. Reno saw no other available places to sit at, well clean places anyhow other then next to terra so he decided to sit there. Yet if she rather he didn’t then he would sit elsewhere where it was less clean and all. “I am glad to hear that. True that but also it’s better having company then none company at all, isn’t it? As it’s boring sitting alone none stop, isn’t it?” Reno said to her. He noticed the tone of voice she used which impressed him because it was nice and kind tone, as she got her pizza and started eating from it he just looked at her and her pizza shocked. Reno watched it all with wide eyes and open month as he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. No, it’s couldn’t be, could it? That what he wondered but the more he thought of the more he realized that it all was in fact real. That was unbelievable, at least it was that way to him anyways. Reno shock himself as he waited for his order but first he ordered it and paid for it of course. He wasn’t how anyone could do that but just shock this thoughts away for now. Reno wondered how could she have enough place in her stomach.

He blinked at the look on the girl’s face and the pizza as he couldn’t believe what he saw. That seemed rather impossible for anyone to finish alone but the girl seemed willing to try which seemed rather insane to him, to say the least. When his order got there he just started to eat his pizza and drink his drink. Reno here and there just looked at her and sighed. He noticed that she looked at his average sized pizza and he could tell that she was confused as well as surprised that he was surprised about her order when his was average compared to hers. Not that it surprised him since people idea of weird was different and that proved it. Reno said what he did but he had a good reason to say it, as one he was rather concerned and two it seemed crazy that she even tried and all that. He wasn’t trying to be mean to her just realistic and he hoped that she understood it. Reno noticed her nod to him as an answer to his questions then he watched her go back to her task a head and sighed as he shock his head, clearly thinking she was crazy. Not that people could blame him sine most people thought that the girl was crazy. Reno could tell that by the way people look at their direction and all.

When he spoke to her again he was surprised to see the she finished forth of the pizza, and as she turned to face him her cheeks were rather stuffed as she shock his head and sighed as well as smirked a little but not in a mean way though. Reno noticed the girl eat and the waitress bring her another glass of water and all that as he just sighed unsure what more to say. It all was completely unbelievable to him. The more time passed the more unbelievable it seemed to him. “You are joking, right? You haven’t ate at all? No wonder you are starving but that is a huge pizza for someone so short and small like you, not small height but weight. I think they will be fine with that just confused and more terrified. Actually more confused too. That’s unbelievable. How can you eat that much?” he said to her ad he was shocked. Reno watched her as he looked between her and the waitress and shrugged as he listened to Terra speak to the waitress and laughed a little as the waitress stared at them both. He watched her do what she as he shocked his head still amazed by it all. Reno was really confused no matter what. It wasn’t something he ever expected that was for sure. Reno was surprised even by Bobby so it wasn’t knew that now he was surprised by her too.


He planned to ask her how could she do it without hurting herself and all as it was interesting to him. When Terra did the next he simply shock her hand as he smiled at her then kept eating his pizza and sipping his drink. “Nice to meet you, Terra! I am Vince, Vince black. It’s fine no worries as we both forgot as we had no chance so yeah” he said to her. Reno felt bad that they didn’t introduce each other earlier but it was alright so. After all people make mistakes and it included them too. Besides Reno knew that making a mistake was part of like and all as he accepted that. He looked around and sighed as well as shock his head as he saw some people lying in their unfinished pizza’s and all as he sighed and shock his head. It didn’t surprised him but it also looked pathetic, not to mention crazy. After all why would anyone order such a bit pizza not knowing if they will finish it or not. Reno wasn’t the guy to judge or laugh at people but it was ridiculous and nuts either way as well as pathetic. The people seemed to want to show off how good they are while the girl didn’t seem to do that at all. “People can be crazy at times, don’t they?” he said to Terra as he shock his head and sighed.

Had this guy seen a hungry hungry hippo traveler eat before? Who knows! All she knew is that stuffing her face with pizza and occasionally guzzling water was the best and tastiest thing in the world right now! Trying not to be rude when she heard him comment about how it really is better not to eat alone, she smiled all big like as though she was having one of the best days ever. Which in a way she kinda was since not only had it been a while since she's gotten something filling in her tummy but there's also how it wasn't super duper common that someone sat around to talk with her at random. So in a way, this was all in all pretty cool to the blond traveler and something she could get used to. Just as long as she didn't use her powers or something it'd be golden! Plus, she completely agreed with him about how it was boring to be alone, even though she didn't have travel buddies, the lanky girl liked meeting new people.

It was pretty neat learning about different cultures, hearing new stories, listening to what people think of various land marks and much much more! Granted, her reasons for traveling so much were because she was on the run when her powers went totally out of control and chances were people would rather form an angry mob against her rather than sit around a campfire to roast marshmallows and sing koombaya. There were plenty of times where she'd go to places with a bar style setting just so she could socialize since it was dull being alone all the time. Sure, she had some friends here and there from those adventures, but they were more like acquaintances rather than actual friends. Munching away just going through the unbelievably big dish from Italy like a kid with Halloween candy for the very first time. Every single thing about it was just...so....GOOD! The cheese, the crust, the toppings, the sauce, it was safe to say she might even love this pizza pie!

In the midst of her delightful enjoyment, she could of sworn her new pal sitting next to her thought she was joking about how she hadn't eaten anything along with pretty much how a huge pizza like this wasn't for a small fry like her. Good news was his comment about how he thought they probably wouldn't mind giving her another one of these monster sized pizzas buuuut that they'd probably be a mix of confused and terrified BIG time. It was unbelievable to him, was it? Continuing to munch away out of sheer hunger, she would answer all of that later, including how she can eat so much! Which...she had no real explanation too but at least she wasn't going to leave him in the dust! When he shook her hand during her munching frenzie and said it was nice to meet her and introduced himself too! Honestly, he seemed pretty shocked earlier but at least now he seemed to ease up a little more which was good since she wasn't fond of freaking people out when she didn't mean to.

This was definitely not a stunt to give anyone the heebeegeebees or for a victory party, more like...just...truly filling the big gaping hole in her stomach. Though, just as she was about to respond, it seemed like he was both in shock again and a bit of disgust with the people actually eating the same order as her in the name of sport and competition. Yeeeaaah...people napping in their pizza was a little weird especially without some kinda funny joke to it and actually had a look that would of easily matched up with the phrase `Aaaallllllllllrighty then`. People like that had deep wallets just in case though, most of the time anyway. Greedy, show boaty poor people were pretty easy to get for free labor when it came to this kinda challenge! Hearing him say that people can be crazy, on the inside she couldn't agree more considering her travels meant seeing lots and lots of faces. Chuckling a bit, her tone was a bit on the mellow, tomboyish side with lighthearted amusement here and there "They can be, some people just want fame but I'm here for the food. Sure my name on a plaque would be pretty awesome but it's all about the meals! I travel a lot and don't have a lot of money so I scope out competitions like these, y'know? Not sure why I can eat so much but it just means I can try more things! So Vince, you from around here or are you visiting?"

A bit after she was done speaking with a casual ol' smile, her stomach softly grumbled a bit reminding her to finish up the rest of the pizza. Grabbing a couple more big slices, she began chowing down yet again occasionally sounding like she was saying `OMNOMNOMNOM`and was pretty close to finishing the entire thing. Of course as rude as she may have seemed, it wasn't half as rude as the people watching that scrawny blue eyed blond have their mouths go totally agape and eyes wide. Even if she didn't respond right away, she was listening for her new pal's voice in case he had anything to say since it seemed like he was a little more talkative than the quiet crowd looking like `Oh...mi....gawd....`! Not to mention someone was in so much shock that their drink slid right out of their hand thanks to the thing called `condensation`, didn't bother them that their shoes were soaked! Apparently the sight of her going on an eating frenzy was more out of the norm to lots of people. Did it bother her? Not at all!

Reno was surprised beyond words at how much the girl ate and all. It was definitely unbelievable, at least it was that way to him anyway. Reno wasn’t sure what else to expect from her but he already liked her as a person so. She was nice and kind even so she had a strong apatite to say the least. Reno couldn’t not look at her shocked and confused as that definitely was an unbelievable thing to see for sure. He never in his life thought that something like that was even possible until now. As Reno said that it really was better not to eat alone, he actually meant it, and when he saw her smile at that he figured that she agreed with him. He did think that the smile fit her but he only saw her as a friend. Her smile seemed to Reno like she was having the time of her life. He smiled as she seemed definitely like a great person to hang out with. Even so she seemed like someone who were happy about the food and probably th company too. Reno was glad that he had someone talk to as he was not to pleased with his meeting with some not so kind people in new York. However he was glad that he met someone as nice as her. Reno didn’t know nothing about her but by the way she treated him and all he already had the feeling that they would be friends. After all she was a sweetheart, just a little strange but all in all still fine, kind and sweet and he liked people like that. Reno liked making new friends whenever he could, but the problem was that at times people found out who he was and reported him, even so he was innocent. Well some people did that but it was alright so. As he was used to it but it still hurt him so. The good thing was that a lot of other people he met were kind and he met friends with them but unfortunately with the life he had he couldn’t see them but he hoped that it would change soon.

Anyway, Reno was sure now that he found a friend and if she had no where to go and all then he didn’t mind that she came with him. He had no idea that they were a lot a like but what he knew so was that he liked her already, as a friend but felt bad that she had no friends with her, which was like him but he didn’t count that so much. After all he was with her so that counted for something. Reno did have friends but because of his life style he had to leave most of them behind and all. Which he surely didn’t like but he was rather used to that by now. Besides every time he talked to nice people or almost overtime he ended up having to flee from the spot because of cops. The good news so far so were that now he didn’t need to do that which was a good thing, but the question was how long would it last?!. Reno did missed the friends he had and planned to see them again sometime, if they were still a live and all. He hoped that they missed him too so, of course even so he believed that they did. Reno was glad he had Chey and Bobby with him a lot, even so he had no clue where were they now. However since he got their last messages before he got here he was sure that they were still a live. As he thought all of it he watched Terra and laughed a little. It was rather cute seeing someone so excited over food or so he thought anyways. It was also very strange and surprising, shocking to see something like that that.

Reno did think she was joking because it was very hard for him to imagine someone doesn’t eat for so long. If it was true then it was rather terrifying. Reno did think that big pizza like the one she ordered wasn’t enough for someone her size. Not that he was attacking her or anything of course but it was still shocking and surprising that there was someone who could eat so much even if they had a small figure. In fact Reno thought that it was impossible. What he said about them not minding giving her another pizza but that they would be terrified by that was true. It wasn’t Reno’s way of trying to hurt someone it was just that he had no doubt that the waitress or waiter who end up serving her another pizza would be scared because it is rather freaking to see someone like finish a giant pizza and all. Then again he could tell that they were terrified even now so they definitely would be terrified when she orders another big pizza like the one she currently ate. It was unbelievable to him and to others to know that someone like her could eat a giant pizza. Reno watched her and sighed as he watched her as he kept eating his pizza and sip his drink but here and there he looked at her. He waited for her to reply to him and planned to keep waiting for her to reply to what he said next. Reno didn’t mind how long to wait as long as she answered. If she didn’t mind answering him that is. Reno was interested and curious about her answer no matter what. She interested him plan and simple but not in a freaky way so. As well as he wasn’t a stalker just a curious guy who never met anyone like her, close maybe but completely like her no.

Reno was shocked by her , plain and simple but not in a bad way though. He finished his pizza and drink then ordered more as he pad for it too. After that Reno looked at her again and sighed. When he said what he did and all he was literally shocked because it was pretty shocking and all. Not much disgusted so. However he was still rather curious about her reply either way, even so when he spoke he didn‘t hid his emotions as he didn‘t think it was needed at all. Reno looked around while he waited for a reply then back at her as he got his order then started eating his pizza and then he took a sip from his drink. After that he looked back at her. It was to weird and strange for him to see people napping in their pizza. Not to mention insane and crazy too. He hoped that the people who ordered the big pizza’ s had enough money to pay or they surely were in trouble. Reno knew for a fact that he won’t even consider go that far as it was way to much. Which he knew he won’t finish so it was waste of time and money, as well as his health. That was for sure. Besides he wasn’t the kind of guy to take challenges like that, this was no doubt. When he said that people could be crazy and stuff, he had a feeling that she was agreeing with him even if he wasn’t hundred percent sure. Reno watched her and as she chuckled he did too as he listened to her. “That is true, no doubt and I can tell. As am I even if I eat less. They surely can be alright! I am more for the food then fame, in fact I would probably take my name off the plaque if it ever got there. I don’t like fame. oh I see, well that does make sense alright. I travel a lot too, more then at times I would like to but it’s cool. Yet I have a job a nd I shop when I need to! I don’t have to much money but I got enough to go by. Are you traveling for work or for personal reason? Me personally I travel because of a personal reason! You don’t? that is interesting and it seems that way. Don’t you explode or something? I am visiting? Tried to find my friend but with no luck so. I have no idea where she is and I am really worried” he said as at the last part he sighed and he had a worried look on his face. “It changed since I last visited here“ Reno added.

He watched her and sighed as he looked at her stomach then at her. “You are really that hungry, aren’t you?” he asked as he pointing to her stomach. “Your stomach grumbled” Reno added. He watched her impressed as he shock his head not sure what to think of it. She reminded him of Bobby but not as much, she was different by a lot even if they did have something in common. Reno doubted that he could tell Bobby or his sister about her as they no doubt would make fun of him and all. It happened before so he wasn’t sure he was willing for it to happen again. Reno found the people staring at her being more rude then he ever seen but he didn’t blame them, even so he himself wasn’t staring at her at all. He was more looking at her confused and shocked then anything else. Reno got tired of people staring at her and made a comment about it as the people just stopped staring and went back to their business. However, some guys attacked him as he found back until he knocked them out but they didn’t gave up and tried again but eventually gave up and left as he sighed and set back down. Reno was rather used to that as it happened before. He was talkative because for one he had someone to talk to and two he was just making a conversation hoping that they could be friends. Reno could tell that she was listening to him then ignoring him which was a good thing. He admired that about her because he was just being nice to her. If she didn’t want to talk it was fine she could just tell him that. Reno thought that she was a very sweet and kind person. Even so she was strange and weird too but it was no big deal so. He did notice when he looked around that some people knocked their drinks on their shoes not that it surprised him, maybe amused him a little but that was it. It all happened before Reno made the comment and all of course. “You look like you are enjoying yourself. Would you like me to order you some more or are you done? I think you must be done or you will explode. Unless you want me to order one more for us to share”

Pizza slice after pizza slice, he was already done but as for her? The blue eyed blonde with a knack for controlling earth was JUST getting close to finished since, well....it was one of the biggest meals she could recall having in a long time. Though...she had the strangest feeling she had way more than this in the past...maybe some weird dream? Well whatever the case may be, it must have been the best dream to EVER exist if it was anything like a free buffet! One thing was certain, even though she was back to stuffing her face by the time he started talking again, she occasionally looked to her meal buddy of the day when she was chowing down on a pizza slice and gave a nod to let him know she understood what he said. When he got around to saying he was missing his friend though, something that stood out like a sore thumb, she answered with a couple of blinks with a slight look of confusion....he was looking for a friend here? That was kinda sad...she wished she actually had friends to seek out and look for...but...that wasn't close to being possible thanks to her powers.

It was so outta whack that she was more like a natural disaster with running shoes rather than the hero she hoped to be one day. Not like she'd announce that to the world, she just kept an optimistic attitude on the outside majority of the time. Lucky for her, it didn't seem like this guy knew anything about her so it was safe to say it'd be alright to hang out for a bit, right? Shaking off that thought, she was a little amused by what he said earlier about the whole fame thing as she chewed away at her meal trying to snap out of a potentially sad attitude. Showing the world she could actually be a bit down with ease wasn't the way she liked to live, make the best of everything was more like it! When he mentioned that New York changed, she couldn't agree more since...y'know...there were zombies roaming about here and there like it was some crazy video game! Maybe even similar to a survival horror or something like that...but with weird stuff.

By weird stuff her brain meant something along the lines of heroes, metahumans, and those things some people called Dark Stalkers paranormal investigators would have a cow over. Seemed like some of them went into hiding, others actually dealing with the current threat at hand as though to help humanity...and themselves at the same time. Shaking off those thoughts when he mentioned that she's really hungry and soon after about how her stomach growled. Something she couldn't control was her stomach growling considering it seemed to have a mind of its own every now and then when she FINALLY got to eat something. Just as she was about to take a break and answer him, she noticed he made some kinda comment to the people watching her like some sort of carnival sideshow freak act and was a little surprised since most of the time people didn't give two hoots about her making a scene enough to say anything when they decided to be in her company. Whether it was a nice change or not, she couldn't be too sure...but they stopped looking. Weeeiiiird...that's the first thing that popped into her thoughts, but then when some guys didn't take too kindly to his comment they seemed to start some sort of brawl.

Being the kinda girl who went to bars for good snacks or fries, this sort of thing didn't exactly come as abnormal. Then again, no one ever really picked a fight with her since she wasn't the sort to start a fight with some muscle bound freak or something like that. Only time she actually bothered with fights is to protect someone in danger or groups of people. After what happened in the Galapagos Islands...from what she could remember anyway...using her powers to such an extent was kinda terrifying and as much as she wanted to step in and do something to help the guy accompanying her for this meal...well...he seemed to have it handled. Swallowing the chewed up slice in her mouth, leaving only about five more pieces of pizza left, she flailed her arms up and down before blurting out while standing up from her seat "Kick their butts! Show em' who's boss, Vince!" Oh like a true tomboy she was rooting for her pal to put them in their place! But after a swift jab to the air, she looked to one of the waitresses that looked absolutely appalled...yet...didn't do a thing to stop the fight going on.

Quickly moving her hand over her mouth, the scrawny girl cleared her throat and sat her butt back down onto the chair before chowing down on another slice and looking off to the side at some window while humming like she did nothing wrong. Er...well...she DIDN'T do anything wrong aside from give her buddy some cheering support! CHEERLEADERS DID IT ALL THE TIME! Munch munch munch, the last pieces of pizza where now all gone and she let out a huuuuuuuuge belch before getting up. Looked like her pal for now was done with those petty punks and wanted to know if she wanted anymore pizza or maybe even share one of those pizza monsters. Picking up her bag and swooshing her arms through the straps, she figured no was as good as any time to head on out! Always on the move, that was her life in a nutshell! Smiling brightly, she used her thumb to point toward the door and spoke up in a confidently chipper tone, "We should probably head outta here and see if we can find your friend!"

Turning toward the door, she began walking toward the exit not even concerned about giving any of the staff her name for the plaque of winners. Finding someone else was way more important..."...and maybe pick up some dessert on the way." Casually adding on those words, she continued on her little stride before pushing the door open to let herself out and then slid her thumbs in the rim of her pockets.

Reno watched her as he wasn’t sure what to think about her. Nothing bad that was for sure. Reno shock his head and sighed not sure what to say, she was definitely unbelievable person but also interesting. At least that what he thought anyways. The pizza Terra ate was so huge that his eyes were almost bulging out of their sockets. That was how shock he was. Reno watched her and sighed as he shock his head he was curious about how could she eat as much as she did, it was strange and shocking.. Reno watched her then got another pizza for himself with coffee as he paid for it too then looked at her. He was surprised but also glad that she listened to him and he could tell that she listened because even when she ate she looked at him and nodded to let him know she understood which he noticed clearly. Reno just smiled at her at that. When he got around to saying he missed his friend he noticed the look on her face as he sighed. “You don’t have friends, do you? Well consider yourself having a friend now. If you want that is but if not it’s fine no worries” he then put a hand on her shoulder with a smile. Reno wanted to be her friend if she actually let him which he hoped that she actually would let him be her friend.

He gave her a sympathy look as he then looked around and back at her as he waited for her to answer him. “You are not alone, you can count on me. You might have been alone so far but no more so.” Reno hoped she understood that he was serious because he was. He liked her company even if they only just met and it was easy to tell by the look on his face. Besides Reno didn’t try to change sits with anyone or anything but then again he wasn’t like that so it worked rather well. He was curious to know more about her but he was going to push her and instead he planned to wait until she told him about herself on her own time. Reno didn’t now she had powers but he did had a feeling that she was an interesting person because she looked and acted like one. Which was not good nor bad but normal or so he thought. After all everyone was unique in their own way and that definitely included her. Reno had the feeling that what he said amused her and he guessed that it had to do with fame thing. Then again it was true he wasn’t interested in fame at all. He never was. Well maybe perhaps when he was 2 or 3 but that was that pretty much. Reno was glad that she didn’t judge him just as he didn’t judge her because it hurt him when someone did that. He could tell that she wasn’t close to Dutch by the way she looked and acted which was rather good. When he mentioned that New York changed he meant it and had a feeling that she agreed, not that it would surprise him if she did. The zombies walking around was one of the things he meant when he said that the place changed. The other thing was that the place looked a tad bit deserted and lonely then the last time. The streets looked a bit of a mess more then the last time he visited. And that was just half of the story.

Reno wondered what she thought about but figured that she must have thought how strange the place looked now and what not. The place particularly looked deserted, kind off anyway. Not that it surprised him so. He shock his head from this thoughts as he looked at her. Reno was going to fight no matter what for survival. It was dangerous he wasn’t going to die it but it was a lot better then hiding and dying. Fighting was more Reno’s style then hiding and waiting to get caught and die. He shock this thoughts out of his mind too he looked at her as he mentioned what he mentioned. Reno was very surprised and confused that her stomach growled but he figured that she must be still starving or something like that. He smiled at her as he waited for her to say something else if she wanted to. He figured that she couldn’t control her stomach growling but then again no one could as it was rather hard thing to do. Reno had a feeling that she was about to say something because it looked that way to her before he made a comment to stop looking at her and all. He felt sorry to interrupt her but he hated the way the people treated her and all. When a guy didn’t take kindly to his words and walked over to him and attacked him he just did what he did best as well as he sighed. As he was done and the guy left he looked at the people around to see if someone else had a problem with that. After that Reno sighed and set by her again.

He felt bad that she had to see it but it wasn’t his fault he just didn’t like the way people looked at her because she was a lady, young lady but still a lady and the way they looked at her was definitely disrespect. At least he saw it as such. Reno didn’t go to places like bars and restaurants and such for a fight but he did get in to fights here and there. Yet it wasn’t his fault, ,people just liked picking a fight with him for one reason or another. Reno and her were a lot a like in many ways but none of them knew it or at least he didn’t. he fought only when he was either being attacked or when he protected someone. That was it but people attacked him a lot no matter what which annoyed him very much. Reno could handle himself well in a fight so and it showed whenever he fought. Not to say that he never got hurt because he did but he still ended up eventually beating the ones who he fought against. In fact he even knocked them out. True when he ended up fighting a wrestler he got more wounded then anything but it was one because he wasn’t ready and two because the guy was big and strong. However there were cases when he defeated guys who were wrestlers and taller then him even if not a lot. Which proved that Reno knew how to fight rather well. Then again being in police academy and trained by his brother would make anyone very tough, strong and good at defending themselves. Reno shock his head to that thoughts as he heard her cheer him up when he fought the ones that attacked him. He lifted an eyebrow confused at that but then when he was done he looked at her then around as he set down and gently pulled her to sit down too or tried to anyway. “Thanks for believing in me but no need cheering. The guys that attacked me got what was coming to them because I was defending myself since they attacked. I am against fights like that but I am not against defending yourself and others”

Reno sighed as he watched her cover her mouth and sit back down as he heard her clear her throat or he thought that he heard her do that anyway. He watched her eat more from her pizza and sighed. Reno thought she was cute for a kid but that didn’t mean that he was in love with her or anything but he did like her as a friend. He was surprised that she even cheered him up as not many did that. Not that he needed any cheering but iot was beside the point. As he shock his head out of his thoughts he watched as a waitress brought over his order as he took a bit from the new pizza and then he sipped from his coffee. Reno didn’t find her do nothing much wrong but the cheering was rather out of line as far as he was concerned but he didn’t said anything about that so. He watched her finish the pizza as he was shocked at that. Reno was even more shocked when she let out a huge noise before she stood up. He didn’t expect that as he got his pizza and drink wrapped nicely and put in a bag so that he could take it with him. When Reno was done fighting and suggested to her what he did as well as when he asked her what he asked he was being serious. He watched her do what she did as he stood up and got the bag with his pizza and coffee as he waited fir her. It did seemed like a good time to go a he got another pizza and got it wrapped up too as he paid for it too. Reno didn’t mind leaving since he was always on the move anyway and he had a feeling she was too. If so that he actually found one thing they had in common. Reno watched her and looked at the door when she pointed to it then he looked back at her as he listened and then nodded. “That sounds like a good plan to me. My new friend. Where should we look first so?”

Reno watched her turn towards the door and head towards the exist as he followed her surprised that she didn’t gave the stuff her name for the plaque of winners. However, he just sighed to that as he headed out too. It surprised Reno that she cared for his friend as he did but he also was grateful that she was willing to help him out. It definitely meant a lot to him and it showed even on his face. “Well sounds like a good plan to me” he smiled as he said then and went out of the pizza place after her. Reno looked around as he wondered where to look for his friend.
