Delia chuckled, looking at her twin with gleaming eyes. She wanted to do something fun - well, more fun at least- that would catch the attention of their hero, their role model. The one, and only, Joker. But how would they do that without catching the bats attention. Well, the girls had managed to steal a small vial of Joker Venom when they were in their own time and were happy that they had. Delia had already made the venom gaseous and put it in a grenade. She just didn't know what she was going to do with it... and when.
Deidre caught the look in her twins eye and returned is with a smile. Dee Dee Two just knew, always knew, what her twin was thinking. She wanted the same, wanted to have fun and finally meet her hero.
"Delia, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Definitely, Deidre."
The twins were in their traditional costumes, but off course. They never left 'home' without them. They also had their usual bag of tricks but the twins had something on them that they didn't usually have... something that wasn't even invented in this time. Laser whips. They were some of the most useful weapons out there. And they just loved the feel of them in their hands.
A malicious smile crossed their lips as they did a dazzling array of flips til they reached the top of one of the apartment buildings. They didn't want to spoil the grenade just yet so instead they went from building to building, stopping and raiding rooms every so often. There weren't any deaths... technically. One person had tried to stop them and accidentally fell out a window.
The Deed's just chuckled as they went on their way, finally stopping on top of a rather tall building. The girls rested, looking at each other and laughing. Their trick bags were now also filled with pretties. They would have a bit of fun before they would release the fireworks.

It had been weeks since Dib and his dad were transported to this strange place. He found they were more similar than he thought. Both thought he was crazy, both liked to point out his big head, and both had stuff right in front of people's noses that they didn't see! There were zombies all over this city he learned was named Gotham when he first came here. Now people look at him the same way his classmates did back home when they realize he's being completely serious about a past zombie attack. He strolled down the streets in thought, drinking what they called over here an "Icee." There was no chocolate bubble gum, but he found blue raspberry tasted pretty good too.
"Zombie attacks.. That's right! There was someone who didn't think I was crazy!" He shuffled in his jacket a little before finding her business card again.
"Bao Yu.. She's probably from another country ... If that's something my old dimension shares in similarity with this one. But she did look like she was from that side of the planet.. Where I came from. Hm. I'm talking to myself again. Oh well! I wonder if she's still in this city?" He blinked, slurping his Icee. He leaned on the side of a conveniently placed drugstore as he looked at his watch and pressed a few buttons.
"Too bad this thing doesn't have service between dimensions, The Swollen Eyeball would have loved to see this!"
((Oh lawdy my posts have gotten so short x.x' Forgive meeeee))

In the wild, many animals pick the night to hunt. This is why so many carnivores have the ability to see at night. The night brings the concealment of darkness with it, nature's original stealth. Perhaps it's this ingrained instinct that brings so many evil-doers out at night, so many human predators.
Those predators that lived in Gotham eventually grew wary of another, a predator that preyed upon predators. It attacked them, both in mind and body. Mind wise, man had an ingrained fear of the night and the darkness it brought with it. Or rather, man feared what the darkness was hiding. Body wise, once this thing, this predator found them, it tended to physically assault them.
What was it? Simply a vigilante? Was it a mere man dressed like a giant bat? Or was it something more? Maybe a bizarre freak of nature, brought about by the toxins from Gotham's industrial run-off. Or perhaps a lab experiment that escaped. Or maybe something much more, maybe it was something supernatural, an avenging angel or demon escaped from Hell.
Whatever it was, the Deeds knew it. They even knew its fate, his fate, how he would eventually retire from protecting the city of Gotham and then appoint someone else to take his place. Or maybe, the one from their time is the original...
Regardless, if the Batman from their time was a replacement, perhaps an impostor, this one was not. This one was the original. And it was this original that confronted them.
Like any nocturnal predator, it could see in the dark. Lenses as part of a mask, or maybe some sort of supernatural power? Then again, given the ruckus the Deeds were making, it was no wonder someone found them. That it found them. And maybe it had been watching them for a while, or perhaps not. Or maybe, they were the ones who found it. Maybe it or he or they were lurking on top of that rather tall building all along.
As they chuckled to themselves, admiring their bag of tricks and thinking of the mayhem yet to come, they may even become aware of the other's presence. Against the moon, a big, imposing silhouette. Two pointed ears and a cape or wings or something swaying. A dark and menacing presence that meant them no good.
No good at all....
(My post was crap, so I apologize. I'm still recovering from a writing class I took)
