Cbox Name: ImpieBA
Nicknames: Bart or Impie
Name: Krawn
Alias: Henry Lane
Age: 38
Ranking: Rogue
Physical Appearance: Krawn has brown eyes, and brown hair. He is approximately 6'2. Stocky build. Weighs 259 lbs. Muscular.
Personality: Everyone knows villains have no emotions! Well, as opposed to his father, he has joined the interloper business because he believes that the people of the world are corrupted, and too far gone to be saved, except those who he personally deems pure in motives.
Krawn is a master at self-deceit. He believes strongly in his cause, and tricks himself into confusing his vengeance with his primary goal. He has been a shadow villain for so long, but due to some past failures, he has now decided to start his plan for rebirth.
One of the best qualities of his personality is his ability to remain calm in even the most taxing and dire of situations. Do not expect him to lose his calm easily.
Powers/Abilities:
Magical Defense - Magic will still hurt him, but it's quite minor for average spells (Ex: would feel more like a bruise), stronger spells will be a few notches more effective (Ex: It'd have the effect a normal spell should have)
Mental Barrier - His thoughts are untouchable, but he will get a slight headache from someone attempting to get into his mind. He also can't be controlled/manipulated via mind control, but he'll get a migraine if someone persists in such an attempt.
`Powerhouse`- He'll get hurt like anyone else, but it takes a lot more effort to damage him. So he has a good amount of endurance for pain and can take quite a few attacks, but he's got about average speed and is a bit more prone to attacks that have speed behind them. Such as guns, darts, quickly cast magic spells that require above average speed to avoid since over time, the damage will accumulate.
Temporary shield - This requires a great deal of concentration (So it isn't like he could go on an attack or elemental conversion frenzy at the same time), but he can form a shield that can withstand two high powered magic attacks (For regular weaponry, think about 35 high powered grenades and about ten blasts from a tank in terms of durability) but it does weaken whenever it's hit. If he keeps it up too long (Two posts) it'll fade away and require a bit more time to use again (About five posts after)
Elemental Conversion - The main problems with this is it has to be about five and a half feet away from him as well as a great deal of focus on the elemental attack he wants to convert. So this may leave him prone to attacks, especially blind spots. How this works is the element being used against him will be converted to its polar opposite.
+Branches of elemental conversion...
Converted mirror - This can only be used once per attack he converts, but how it works is before the converted element can actually hurt him right on the get-go, the attack will ricochet against a mental wall and go toward the opponent
Converted absorption - This requires a great deal of thinking and focus since he has to concentrate on both the original AND new element plus what he wants to use it for (Mainly because his own converted attacks CAN hurt him if he's not focusing on it). Which would be either minor healing to make life threatening wounds borderline (It'd have to be used A LOT to make the wounds completely healed), or to teleport to a different location that would be about a mile away from his original spot at least since it's intention is mainly for distance. Even though this can benefit him, it still leaves him prone to attacks in the process.
Super Strength- Krawn can lift cars with effort, and can punch through a healthy tree.
Strategy- Krawn is really a brilliant strategist. He is nearly equal to Robert E. Lee in that sense.
Calm- I feel I need to mention this. This guy could go into a meat grinder with thousands of men and keep a level head.
Alliance- Krawn has an alliance of those he deems worthy to be saved.
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws:
Self-Deceit- He has been known to trick himself into carrying out acts of vengeance, believing them to be absolutely necessary for his goals to be met.
Physical Flaws:
Pain- He has a great deal of resistances, but he still feels pain and can be injured. Although he takes a lot of damage, he takes a lot of damage. He has a particular weakness to fast attacks. Savvy?
Mortality- He can still be killed.
Speed- He is average at best when it comes to speed, so he must be very careful in battle.
Other Flaws:
Alliance- He is not in complete control of what happens, so if a few people of his alliance fail to do their job properly, the entire plan may wind up in jeopardy.
Brief History:
Krawn's father was a powerful mutant. His father also operated under the name of Krawn. During this point, both Krawns believed that humanity needed to be saved, but they thought society was oppressing the people. Krawn Sr. acted as a savior, and openly opposed the actions of the government. Eventually, a mutant named a he became involved in a conflict against a powerful mutant named James Everhart. The two shared many battles. During their last battle, Krawn inflicted a deadly wound to James. Despite the injury, James was able to kill Krawn. James died days later. Krawn Jr. doesn't know who killed his father.
Krawn continued to carry out the actions of his father even after his death. He soon faced legal and metahuman resistance. Quite possibly, the worst opposition he faced was The Really Useful Company. This company gave the front that it developed products to help help meta-humans lower their odd DNAs' negative side effects. However, they were attempting to turn meta-humans into normal humans. Natually, Krawn didn't like this strategy. The Really Useful Company branched off in key locations. Krawn tried to get rid of the company to try to perserve the mutant community.
However, the company still had workers that weren't openly linked to it. These workers consistenly get the company up and running again. These workers are hard to locate, as they cover their tracks and on the run with fake identification. This does force him to attack innocents that may have any connection to the company, making it very easy for the company to call it random attacks.
Sample RP:
After months of active searching, his adversary had apparently sprouted again. He truly despised this particular nemesis. He had the noble goal of preserving a race. His enemy wanted to exterminate them. They were truly the villain here. They needed to be stopped, and he would be the one to stop them. He swore this upon his father's grave.
The Really Useful Company had apparently set up base in a city called Northpoint. He was states away from the city, but his enemy had to be destroyed. He ran his fingers through his hair, thinking of his history with the company. He could not remember how many people he had killed for their association with the company, or even the possibility of being associated with the company. He must had ended hundreds by now, and given the order to kill hundreds more. How many more times must he destroy them?
He pulled his phone out of his pocket, and dialed one of his commanders, a man called Crim. "The Company has reappeared in Northpoint, Kansas. I am going to need at least eight people to join me. There's no need to bring the Agents, but make sure Callaway and Jacobs are among them. I want to be there within twelve hours." He hung up his phone. The Company had taken months to rise again, which was longer than the last few times. This time he would leave a message and guarantee they would never rise again.
Within two hours, he had assembled his force. Among them stood Robert Callaway and William Jacobs, both noted for their ruthlessness and relentlessness. He instructed them on how he wanted the job done. This time there would be no witnesses. He didn't doubt their very public display would go unnoticed, but this time it would end.
They boarded an airplane, and left for Topeka, which would take them to Northpoint. They each began thinking about how the day would end. No doubt the great wall that was their leader would still be alive at the end of the day, but it only took one bullet to end any of the rest of them. None of them spoke a word.
Hours later, they had reached their destination. Krawn left the group, and headed to a building near the operation. He would be able to watch from the window as they did the damage. He would not join the battle unless all eight of the rest perished. He could still give orders should he need to, and for now, that was what he needed to do.
Christopher Turlove led the group to the building that The Really Useful Company was operating in. The first thing they noticed was a man behind a table. He stood up, smiling away. "Hello! Are you here to remove the side effects of your DNA? Remember, it's free!"
Robert Callaway spoke up. "We are not here for your poison. We are here for a cure. We will save all of mutant kind! All we have to do is destroy the Really Useful Company and all that work for them."
Horrified, the man stepped back and bumped into a woman. He looked at her, and crumpled to the floor, impaled by a fist.
