(It's all cool, man C: I'm alright with you hoping back in when Kazumi catches up <3) Woah...that was definitely a nice catch....she'd totally have to applaud that...IF SHE WASN'T A POTENTIAL BAD GUY! Cause cool dragon people were usually villains, like how punky tugs were usually always criminals and even how people with ski masks hopping out of a van in a suspicious manner are bad guys! JUST LIKE HOW THOSE GUYS DID AFTER THE DRAGONESS TRIED TO EXPLAIN HERSELF......oh fudgesicles....she made an oopsie....didn't she? A....oh geeze....blonde moment if you will....a living pun. THIS....was embarrassing. So embarrassing that her cheeks flushed a light pink as she guiltily watched for a moment. If only there was something she could do to make it up to the dragon lady......SUDDENLY the light bulb in her head went off and she remembered something VERY IMPORTANT.
DUH. This traveler was a HERO! ...geeze that was a stupid moment of forgetfulness in the moment! Terra wouldn't have a hard time making it up to her since she had the power to help the hybrid catch the REAL law breakers! That adorable chibi self of hers looked determined once again and let out a confident huff, just like her real self! "Ok...time to fix up a BIG screw up and HUGE misunderstanding...I can do this....c'mon Terra, you got this...!" After that hushed pep talk to an audience of one, a golden glow coated her brown gloved hands going a tad bit over her wrists and facing her palms toward the broken up boulder she once flew on. It still had some use!
Focusing on the smaller chunks of rubble, she moved her ridiculously scrawny arms up and swung them over her head as though she was doing a double rainbow dance motion to rain down on the naughty naughty bad guys trying to get away. Yes, she was careful to make sure the speed those rocks went at wouldn't cause any major damage for the VERY GUILTY RUN-A-WAYS, but merely slow them down if they didn't manage to pull some crazy ninja stunt and avoid the mini rock shower. "You guys aren't getting away that easily!" Yelling those words out in a heroically tomboyish fashion, she ran on after the RUN LIKE HELL group. Somewhere in the chibi universe, everything looked like an insanely adorable chase scene with catchy music and.....a very cartoonish background that didn't so much as have anything resembling the actual environment it was based on. GO FIGURE! The pursuit of the REAL guilty guys had just begun for the earth manipulator who could make bathrooms look ridiculously messy from excessive amounts of mud in a single wash!
Such craziness took skill which she most certainly had...among other USEFUL talents...LIKE STOMPING DOWN BADDIES!

Ember took pause when the rock lifted again. Her ears were still ringing - she'd missed a lot once she'd started after the thugs at a sore, dazed pace - her body was waving the IOU notices she'd been writing out and looking rather sinister in that one-of-a-kind way of bill collectors everywhere, but she persevered. She visibly cringed when the rocks split... but they weren't hitting her! No, was the blonde... HELPING?! Ember felt a swell of relief, and took pace just as Terra set to running after the men.
Now THIS was more like it!
The men were sure to be getting a solid pummeling form the stones - but they were hard-bitten sorts who had seen a lot of action in new york city, complete with spidermen, superpowered cops and guardian angels of all sorts. Screaming, they dove to either side - one better than the other, what with his bad leg and all. Just the same, they got a mild pummeling.
Ember saw it coming - the quickthinker masked man, who had largely done a bulk of the dodging and pushed his wounded comrade out of the way, leveled his gun at the offending super - in this case, it was Terra. Things... moved in slow motion as the hybrid dragoness loosed a very lizardlike squawk and threw herself in front of the girl, wrapping her wings defensively over her, just in time.
That was no pistol the man was using. Automatic weapons fire hit her wings and she shook with each bullet, taking them almost harmlessly for Terra - earth though she was, Ember seriously doubted that she was also bulletproof. A dragon, however, bar some serious bruising to be had, later, was. Ember's face was mere inches from Terra's, and she was very, very warm, and very, very tired looking, but that look of exhileration was unmistakable. She smelled faintly of cheap burrito and campfires.
"... think you can knock them down if I set them up?" she asked hurriedly, trembling in discomfort and wincing as bullets richoched off of her scaled body

Kazumi sighed as she finally came to a nearby roof, she panted heavily that had been a long run. Her body however was slowly recovering and she had her breath back after a few seconds. She Cloaked behind a fading blue light and jumped off of the roof, she landed softly from about 50-60 feet as if nothing had happened.
She walked up one of the other men trying to make a break for it and took him down. She uncloaked in front of him and punched him cleanly in the face, unlike a normal human punch this one was like being hit with a steel girder. Which it probably was considering the arm was pretty much a metal prosthetic.
She slipped behind a car and peered around it to see what the other two girls were going to do, with mild curiousity, she also wanted to make sure she was able to bag any other runners when she did so.

"Hah! Who just rocked your world?!" Grinning in triumph with a fist pump LIKE A TRUE BRO to go with it as though she just won an epic video game, thinking that she had claimed victory on the petty thugs. Too busy to notice the crafty robber ready to take her down since she was sure a little rock shower would be enough to make them give up. Even going so far as to close her eyes with a huge, tooth filled grin across her lips. Right now, she was happy to right her wrong! GOOD ON HER!....but...the sound of gunfire caused her to open her eyes nice and wide and see that the dragon girl she originally mistook as a bad guy wrapped her wings around her scrawny form and could hear the thud edition of bullets attacking her.
She...was working as a barrier to protect her. Looking a little confused, even a touch bit worried about the fellow teen, those big blue eyes stared up at her. Though...she couldn't help but take a couple of wiffs...she smelled kinda good...like...food! Cheap burritos but those were DELICIOUS! Plus a touch of campfire too, maybe she was a traveler like herself?! A fellow `go where the wind takes me` sort! It would have been cool not to travel alone...but there was always the slight concern about what just about anyone would think of her if they figured out the things she accidentally did with her powers. Shaking that thought away, she blurted out in her tomboyishly concerned fashion while trying to keep her bold nature shining like a beacon through her tone, "Yeah, no problem! These scum bags will be a cake walk for us! But uh...you gonna be ok? You look like you've been taking a real beating..."
Bracing herself to be ready so she could spring into action and blind side the bad guys, she wanted to do something to help this girl avoid the bullets. Thing is, she didn't want to trigger anything below...so for now she'd just have to hope she would hold up all right on her own without rocky assistance. The moment she gave the green light though...the chase would be on! ............AGAIN! LIKE A SEQUEL THAT DIDN'T SUCK TOTAL MONKEY BUTT!

Ember, her wings shrouding Terra tightly, gave Terra a pained smile, revealing just the impression of sharp teeth as her draconic ears flicked and twitched. "I'll be fine after something to eat!" she chirped cheerfully, and her grin widened a bit, translating in her eyes - there was playfulness, but she had a way of saying things without saying them - the words RED DRAGON NEEDS FOOD! BADLY! You TOTALLY owe me a burrito! seemed to hover in the air, unspoken.
The smile faded to a look of nothing but... intense concentration. She jutted her hips backward a little, eyes glowing orange faintly as she broke skin contact with Terra, looking backward. Thermal radiation poured from Ember's body, and she opened her claw, grinning broadly as she watched it a moment, dying the flames down to a low heat in her claws, clinging to the contours of her hands. She gave a spin, and her tail raked the ground, the heat dissapearing from her hands as she did so, sending a wave of red light and thermal radiation down the street, make it hiss and crack a little as it went!
She'd timed it right - the man was in cover, reloading, edging away to make a break for it. Ember would have no part of that! Her tail squirmed again, as if directing a symphony, and the crawling flames surged up the side of the building, yellowing glass as it went, only to rush downward where she was sure the man was. There was a PWOOF, a pulse of air pressure, and the gunman was flung upward like a ragdoll, screaming in surprise with his feet kicking in the air - he looked maybe a bit singed and in crisis, but!
"Now!" Ember cried, and flipped her wing out of Terra's way!

After having confirmation that it was all good for her ally at the moment would be a-okay after some munchies, she forced a grin across her lips. Though....it almost looked more like a nervous smile...she hadn't been so close to anyone with sharp teeth before. Maybe they could hit up a restaurant with food challenges? If this dragon girl was as hungry as she had a tendency of being...then it would result into FREE FOOD! Though...she did look a little confused when the skin contact was broken off...was it about time for the `trying to be a hero` girl to step on in?! OH GOODY GOODY! Waaaaaaiiiiiiit....things got warmer...toastier....much toastier.
MAN WAS IT WARM! Certainly something she wasn't used to! A few beads of sweat began trickling down her cheek as she sloooowly held up her finger and kept up with her nervous smile, "Hey...uh...think you..." CLICK! Everything started making sense with all the commotion! Lowering her finger as though to quietly say `never mind I figured it out`, she merely awaited her cue at this point. They were SOOOO going to kick this guy's butt to a whole new level! RIGHT when she got the signal, she twisted around clenching her now glowing gloved hands and smiling as though she might have won free food for a year! "Don't you know crime NEVER pays out in anything but pain?!"
Feeling a bit more confident, the spunky tomboyish blonde moved her hands up a bit causing the ground to tremble a bit. Believing in herself, she got this far so why not turn up the AWESOME?! Opening up her hands to make it look like she was about to grab something. Cracks in the ground violently surged toward the criminal of the day and boy oh boy did those cracks glow a brilliant gold! This was it! Moving her hands up while gritting her teeth, she let out a little "RRRRRAAAAAGGGHH!" Followed by the ground spiking up into walls...but....there was a problem...a big problem.
The scrawny girl's eyes lit up to a vibrant gold hue to which the ground cracked a bit more. Crap. Where the criminal was...well...the ground beneath him was starting to give way and crumble. Putting her hands on her head, she wanted it to stop...but it wasn't...her powers had other things in mind and she was out of the driver's seat. Dropping to her knees, fully golden optics widened as she looked nothing short of concerned. "No no no no...nonononononono!" Gripping onto her head, those pretty blonde tresses flared up and pebbles around her started to lift up. This....was bad....this was VERY bad....

Ember was impressed! The walls were a nice touch - the midair thug hit them and was immediately imprisoned! She grinned, turning to survey the earth user's handiwork. Then... things started to shake. Her grin immediately faded a bit, and she spun her head, blinking once or twice at Terra, more perplexed than anything.
"Errr..." she began, and the ground began to shake... much harder, pebbles beginning to levitate. Emily stood like a cow in the headlights of an oncoming train for a moment as the girl sank to her knees, holding her head clenched in her hands. She could feel the stress and... raw power coming off of her like a brick to the face, making her shift her footing just to keep her balance - or was it because of the ground beginning to SHAKE LIKE A MUTHER?
"No no no no...nononononononono!" and at about that point, there was a prickle on the back of her neck, and something... ancient stirred inside of Ember's breast. The dragon roused, and watched the girl... with great interest, and immediate concern. Blinking at the serenity the ancient presence awakened inside gave her, Ember touched her chest and held a little necklace of silver that was difficult to see before then.
"... What do I do..." she asked in a whisper. It was all she could do to stay standing, let alone run. She didn't even know who she was talking to... but a voice came back, from the yawning pit of her soul.
[glow=red,2,300]FLY.[/glow]
the voice said. It wasn't... Sheikinah's voice. IT was something older, something... matronly. Mistress spoke as if every word was a command she shouldn't dare disobey... but this voice? It was not just warm, but red-hot, seared into her very being like scars that would never, ever fade. She wasted no further time. Stepping towards Terra, as pebbles ZINGED and rocks smashed themselves against her, Ember advanced, wings braced against the torrent and arms outstretched to the golden-haired youth.
"LETS GO! COME ON, I'LL GET YOU OFF THE GROUND!" she cried at the top of her voice, trying very hard to be heard over the roaring of the earth as it did what it wanted with the youth's powers. The thought of Terra being dangerous, of her hurting people, it didn't even cross her mind. The voice in her soul had spoken: Everything else could go hang.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as debris whipped around like nobody's business. Or you know...like poltergeists where having way too much fun with a whole bunch of rocks. Those damn powers of hers....they were nothing short of being a double edged sword and it was awful that something so helpful did things like this. Gripping tightly onto her head and gritting her teeth with a large frown across her lips, she didn't want to hurt anyone...but her powers were in the process of generating a natural disaster and she was unable to get a hold of it. Panicking, desperately trying to make her powers pop a chill pill and LISTEN to her seemed to only make it worse but she couldn't give up! "Come on Terra...! Don't let your powers boss you around!"
With determination, she muttered those words to herself in hopes that maybe being her own coach would work...it wasn't...the ground was shaking more and more violently. Cracks were starting to form in the street...what happened to the bad guys...the blonde didn't know. Tightly shutting her glowing gold eyes...something warm was close...so close that she could feel it radiating from somewhere. It was almost comforting but still, her heart was plagued by the burden of questioning herself and how many people were being hurt...innocent people. Never did she want to hurt bystanders....this was all her fault. All...her...fault. Sinking gradually, the earth seemed to be crying out with her, expressing what pain she was trying to bury.
No...she had to keep believing in herself...or...at least try...! The inner turmoil was almost like a war and there were plenty of casualties going on for both sides. The booming voice of the girl from before caused her eyes to shoot right on open and they were still lost in a golden glow. That dragon girl....part of her wanted to yell out RUN but...the invitation to being helped was also welcoming...she didn't know what to do. Somewhere buried deep down in a dark place of her memories....the situation felt almost familiar...but the details were so very lost like the many moments of dejavu she lived through. Such a feeling gripped at her heart and tugged the strings of her body to reach out and grasp onto the dragoness teen's wrist with a look of desperation and sorrow. The scrawny tomboy didn't say it but everything about her composure cried out `help me` with the way tears cascaded down her pale cheeks and the frown across her lips was like she was powerless to help someone in trouble.
Something strange happened though....as she started to stand, her feet lifted from the ground as her entire body gave off a slight glow. At a complete loss for words...she hadn't a clue what to say...her mind was jut racing faster than a Nascar race to properly speak at the moment.

Ember tried her best to keep her footing, tail whipping about behind her as her wings were battered and hit by stones, but everything in her told her that she had to do this! She had to! The gold-haired youth was in pain, nevermind the state of the city around her. The skyscraper was creaking ominously as the ground spiderwebbed out from Terra's feet, It was almost like the golden light was trying to keep her from the girl, keep Terra from being rescued, but...! NO! It wasn't her doing it.
Keep going... keep going...
Her body heat was lessening the blows as it rose on her wings and back and tail. She shook, almost at Terra's side, able to grasp her and as she stood, she began to levitate! With a roar from the dawn of time, from a time before man and beast walked the earth, her voice rose as fires leapt from her body. She wouldn't let this happen! She couldn't! But she hurt so much now, and she was exhausted to start with? What could she do? A tone zinged through her left wing near the hem and stuck into her side, making her cry out in shock and pain, but, bracing her arms in front of her face, she outright glomped Terra, smashing through stones in her path as behind her, flames seared from her tail and out like a lash around them, slicing stones of its own accord. Other parts of her were on automatic as well - she was changing, like it or not.
Her bones creaked and popped as hips widened, legs lengthened. Ember gave a soft little whimper as she clutched Terra, demanding that her legs move, that her arms don't let go, screaming at every skin follicle to stop glazing over into scales, but only her arms and legs remotely listened. The change was coming - the dragon had spoken. Ember beat her growing wings, once, twice, and a third as they reached full size, her spine renumerating to achieve the proper length. She rumbled lowly, fire in her eyes as she stared at Terra, then roared again, but thankfully not in her face - because when she did, as she did, she lengthened and once again became the dragon, and flames spat from her throat - Terra would have been able to see the glow of them rushing up the dragoness's throat. Why? Cop cars were oncoming. They had little idea what was going on. the flames didn't hit them, blessed be, no! They hit the street a good distance in front of them, making the street spit and run and burn where her breath hit, creating a wall of flame and molten pavement. They stopped, oh didn't they just!
At her size, the stones were about as dangerous as a desert sirocco. Terra was gripped in one claw, and the dragoness beat her wings, blasting back the stones, cracking the street further, and taking wing, leaping to augment this with a grunt. She was bleeding, and if not for the second voice helping to command her body, she'd not have been able to manage this - she'd have passed out already. It wasn't the little girl in the driver's seat now though - it was the dragon. She rose - straight up, gripping Terra in one claw.
The dragon exhilarated at the rush of wind in her wings again! Such an injury as the stone, even if it did pierce her wing and break a rib, so what? Her... ahem, cherished mate had given her nastier injuries in PLAY, to keep her from leaving the nest! She chuckled and cradled the human inside her mind, the other mind that shared her soul, and cooed soothingly. Silly little thing thought she was going to die... but, then, her tiny body had been put under a great deal of duress in the last few days, let alone the last few hours. The Dragon was proud of her, in a way she couldn't quite explain. Now to deal with the little golden-haired human female...

(-Looks at thread holding up its hand for a high five....staaaaaares at it.....high fives eet. LEFT IT HANGING LONG ENOUGH!-") OH COME ON! Why didn't her powers just cut her some slack and just pop a chill pill already?! Cascading down her cheeks were not only tears of sorrow but frustration as well. This was just absolutely annoying! Maybe..."...maybe I'm just kidding myself.." doubtfully muttering those words under her breath, she grit her teeth and fell farther into despair. How many more people would she hurt if she kept this going...?
Was it even worth it? Her low self esteem train was derailed by none other than an outright dragoness GLOMP of sorts. ...and the train went right back on track because those glowing optics could easily take in the sight of how battered her potential friend was. This wasn't all the bad guy's doing....it was her's too. "What have I done....?" Muttering that out as though she was trying hard not to break down any further, loosening the grip upon her own head as she was clutched. The rocks lost in the debris were getting larger bit by bit thus the danger for their peers were increased. Such a frown of uncertainty crossed her lips and her thoughts raced around and about...staring at the girl holding onto her.
What was going on...? The dragon girl...she...she was in pain...? "This is all my fault...I'm so stupid!" Snapping out those words, she shut her eyes and....a telephone pole ripped itself out of the ground and said `WHY HELLO THERE MISTER BUILDING I'M GOING TO CRASH AT YOUR PLACE!!! GET IT?! CAUSE I CRASHED INTO YOU!` which was almost like a domino effect. The building wasn't exactly strong and sturdy, there were screams and a big ol' chunk of it was about to greet some bystanders. Instead, it met up with the wall of fire and was INCINERATED. Though....it was weird how she wasn't quite panicking at the fact she was now being held by a dragon.
Talk about weird....slightly opening those optics encased in gold, rimming with tears...she stared up at the friendliest dragon she ever met not struggling. Mostly because it was a damn good thing that she was getting away from civilization. The look on her face seemed to just scream `Help me` even though such words didn't sneak by her lips.
