The sun shining upon the beautiful snow covered park made Bridget smile. New York had been pretty chaotic recently, outbreaks and so on. Bridget didn't let that get to him though, he was enjoying this relatively peaceful time and was making the very most of it. He wasn't exactly dressed for the weather but it wasn't as harsh as it had been in the past. It was really pretty to watch the fields covered with the white powder. Bridget smiled softly as his blue boots crunched over the frozen ground, leaving a trail of distinctive footprints in the snow behind him. His blue eyes surveying the area directly around him. "So, you gonna do anything but walk around this hellhole?" the oversized bear resting on the blonde's back spoke out loudly. The duo were surely extremely different in their attitudes, one was polite and sweet and the other acted vulgar and rude towards many people he encounters.
"Oh, be quiet, Roger. Bridget said in his shrill high pitched voice, his upper class British accent showing through. A nearby bench caught the glimpse of his sparkling blue eyes. He moved his way towards it and brushed away the snow from it and pulled his blue dress down a bit to cover as he sat down, crossing one of his slender legs over the other and enjoying the peaceful view of the frozen lake before him. He really enjoyed being out in the open, it reminded him of the small village he lived in as a child until he was banished at a young age. He did miss England at times, having only been in the USA for a short time and spending most of his time working in Japan. However the one thing annoying the young man is that he hates to be on his own, thus why he has his companion bear with him almost all of the time. Sure, Roger can be really annoying at times but it was a voice to have a conversation with and he did come up with the occasional funny quote. "Ugh, what I'd do to have someone to talk to right now..." he said with a sigh. Granted, Bridget often didn't make a good first impression with new people. They tended to think he was a girl which automatically gets him frustrated.

Jinx yawned, her jaws opening wide as she did so. Her arms were stretched up over her head in a tired and lazy fashion. What was she going to do today? Maybe she would go and cause a bit of trouble? Or maybe she would just take a walk... Oh, she didn't really know what she wanted to do... but she did know that she wanted to go to Central Park and relax for a little while, maybe just sit back and think for a little bit.
She was wearing her traditional costume, though, due to the cold, she also was wearing a very thick black coat. Faux purple fur creeped out around her neck, the fur leaving a comforting feel against her skin. A pair of boots with a similar fur scheme donned her feet.
Stepping out of the confines of her 'apartment', she skipped lightly to towards Central Park. Her feet crunched softly in the snow, leaving a small footprint behind each and every time. When she had reached the snowy park, she smiled. So much fresh snow and nothing had been done to it yet? That was unacceptable! So she 'wrote' 'Bad Luck' in the snow with her feet.
The large letters were neat and orderly in the snow. Smiling at her work, Jinx began to head towards a bench. Correction, the bench she had been going to for days. But... someone was already sitting there?
Nickie narrowed her eyes as she glared at the girl? sitting on her bench. She had come up behind the person. "Excuse me missy," she growled, glaring down at the 'girl'.

Bridget was idly sitting down, his head tilted back as he looked up at the blue sky. His sparkling eyes admired the clouds while his body shifted a bit to get more comfortable on the hard wooden bench. He continuously had to pull the bottom of his dress down for coverage as he sat down, he had no idea why he continued to dress like a girl even after he'd long since left his village. He must do it out of force of habit, it was the only clothing he really felt comfortable wearing.
Hearing the noise of footprints, Bridget turned his head behind to look at the slim purple haired girl standing there and glaring at him, calling him 'missy' in the process. "Ugh, not another person thinking I'm a girl" Bridget thought to himself. He shook his head and looked directly at her, now smiling as to not make it look like he was acting hostile. "Please don't call me that. I'm not a girl. Anyhow, what is it you want?" Bridget said in his usual shrill high pitched voice, shifting himself a bit further up on the bench so this lady had some space to sit down. He always liked to act polite towards new people no matter what.
With a smile Bridget idly bobbed his yo yo up and down beside him during the conversation, it's often a thing he did to overcome his nervousness around new people. He wasn't quite sure what was going on with this girl but she seemed angered by his presence which he had no understanding of. After all, anybody can enjoy this park.

Jinx examined the girl{yes, she is still calling him a girl}. And she didn't stop examining her until 'she' started to talk to her. Jinx, smiling, couldn't help but chuckle. This was the strangest looking girl she had ever seen.
Please don't call me that. I'm not a girl. Anyhow, what is it you want?"
Now that made her laugh out loud. Well, chuckle out loud, at least. Maybe snicker was the actual word she wanted. Yes, that was it, she snickered. There was no way 'he' was a 'she'.
"Even your voice sounds girly. And is that a teddy bear you have with you? How do you expect me to believe you aren't a girl?" she snickered. She felt a small chill go up her spin from the cold. She ignored it, though, too amused with the supposed 'boy' in front of her.
"I just wanted to sit down on my bench," she cooed, though a bit of annoyance was still present in her tone. She comes out, just trying to have fun and do the one thing that seemed to be the only constant that she had in her life at the moment. And now it was gone!
Still, she could try and play nice and toy around with this androgynous thing. It would definitely prove to be fun.
{OOC:: Gah! Sorry... poor post... But I promise my next one will be much better, Hokuto...}

Bridget was a bit fearful of this new person, her outfit was quite striking compared to other's she'd met and she seemed just a bit unstable. He gazed towards her almost a bit shocked when she was questioning he was male. After all, in his mind he wasn't girly at all it was just how he was raised.
"I'm not a girl and it's not just any teddy he's my friend." Bridget said shrilly. At this point he hadn't realized the bear upon his back had turned to face the purple haired girl. This isn't a great idea as Roger often said things that go the duo into trouble with those who didn't know them well enough. "Hey, lady. Better march your ass back to Hot Topic because we're not taking your crap. the bear said as Bridget sported a shocked expression on his face. He quickly put his hand over the bear's mouth and looked up at the girl again.
"It's okay, you can sit down too. See, there's a spot for you." he said politely, he didn't want to anger this new person and it may prove useful to be nice and friendly to her. It's not like he wasn't nice and friendly as it is, but this person seemed unstable and might just be in need of a friend. He looked right at her. "I'm Bridget, that's Roger. Don't worry, he's just cranky." he said quietly, hoping this person isn't too angered by his presence.

Again, the girl said that he wasn't a she. She really had a hard time believing it, though. This it (since it held no gender) was going to have to prove to her that she was a he if she was supposed to believe it.
"Hey, lady. Better march your ass back to Hot Topic because we're not taking your crap."
Jinx heard the voice and looked straight at the bear, a bit wide eyed. Did.. that bear... just talk? What the heck was going on? Now this was just a bit unsuspected. But it seemed to put a small scowl on her lips none the less. Some toy was not going to talk back to her like that. Boy, if Gizmo was here now, she could only imagine what he would think. He'd want to take that bear apart and figure out what made it work.
"Did that toy of yours just say something to me? Because I know it surely wasn't talking to me," she growled. The urge to want to harm the toy was great but she had to stay calm. At least for long enough to play with the it.
"It's okay, you can sit down too. See, there's a spot for you."
Grumbling, she rolled her eyes but decided to actually take a seat. Her legs were getting a bit tire anyway. Besides, she'd been running around a lot earlier getting cat food and litter and everything else a cat needed. She had decided to keep Lucky. The cat was nice and listened to everything she said! Which was quite a shock, since she hadn't thought that the cat would actually stay with her. Still, it was nice to have the little pet.
"I'm Bridget, that's Roger. Don't worry, he's just cranky."
Bridget? Jinx covered her mouth with her hand, trying to stifle her laughter. It was to no avail. "A boy named Bridget? Oh yeah, that sure is believable. Next you're going to say that you're a catholic or something," she giggled.

Bridget tilted his head to look at this girl, he couldn't quite figure out what was going on. His hand still covering Roger's mouth. He really hoped she wasn't going to start a fight, usually that's what happened when the offensive bear made some comment towards someone Bridget was trying to befriend. This girl asked Bridget if his bear just spoke. "Well, yeah. He's a robot, for some reason the doctor that made him just happened to make him into a robotic bear. I dunno, sounds to me something out of a crazy anime or something." Bridget shrugged as he took his hand off Roger's mouth. He honestly had no idea about why Roger was created like he was, they only just met a few years ago and he had no real interest in speaking about the past. All Bridget seems to know is he's packed to the brim with high tech weaponry and has a mind of his own.
Bridget was genuinely surprised the girl sat down, he thought he was going to have to prepare for yet another battle as he had countless times in the past. It really was odd how every time he met a new person a fight broke out eventually, it was like something out of one of those fighting games. Although, now Bridget had a slight angry look on his face. This girl was laughing at him! "I AM a boy... I don't know what a Catholic even is but I'm not one of those! Ohmigosh, you're mean!" Bridget squealed out, hoping to portray himself as angry and a means to be reckoned with but ultimately failing. He did nothing but throw an adorable hissyfit. Bridget sat and sulked, staring at this odd looking girl. "I am a boy, and my name is Bridget. It's a long story, okay?" he almost spat the words out, crossing his arms tightly across his chest.
