Life was just wonderful sometimes, Anya noted with a spiteful streak of sarcasm. Really, just fantastic. Redemption was so worth it in a world like this!
Except for, you know, not. Not when you weren't sure who what redemption even meant or who you were actually supposed to be when you achieved it. Not when you had to struggle through the colorful emotions of humanity(which she wasn't even supposed to have..) on a regular basis. Not when said colorful emotions most recently led to something of a freak-out on a bystanding friend, and not when you hadn't talked to...well, anyone, since said freak-out.
Unfortunately, all of these circumstances happened to apply to the vengeance demon who was currently scurrying around the empty New York department store in which she worked. But all things considered, Anya happened to think she was coping rather well. Cleaning helped with some of the stress, at least, which was why she had decided to dedicate herself to an after hours feather-dusting-and-reorganization session of her workplace. Which some might consider to be...sort of silly, seeing as they actually had a cleaning crew for this sort of thing. A cleaning crew which, incidentally, the demon had irritably kicked out twenty minutes previous for "getting in her way". Clearly, she really, really needed her own place of business. When she'd run the magic shop, no one ever told her when she could clean...well, except for Giles, but he was hardly ever around.
Mindlessly, Anya scurried about, practically attacking every clear surface with a feather duster in hand. The term 'neat freak' actually might have been an understatement of the blonde's current behavior, but it kept her busy none the less...both physically, and mentally. Still, her frequent, hurried movements, were surprisingly silent given the usual contrasting clumsiness. Of course, incapable of remaining satisfied with a situation for too long, the general quiet of the shop soon became the latest thing to add to her list of annoyances. After a moment, the demon decided to remedy this by sporadically humming under her breath, subconsciously settling on a vaguely familiar little melody that quickly stuck in her head. The upbeat little tune was just so catchy, and she...sort of felt compelled to sing it aloud.
"Bunnies aren't just cute like everyboooody supposes....they've got those...hoppy legs and twitchy little noses..." Cheery melody, dark subject matter. And...why couldn't she help feeling as if she'd heard it somewhere before? Hmm. Maybe it was some demon organization's death march, or something. Best not to dwell on it too long. All the singing and the cleaning was proving to be somewhat therapeutic, however...so who was she to complain?
It seemed Anya's 'me time' was fated to be short-lived, however, because a moment later a soft jingling broke through the silence. Odd...she could have sworn she'd locked the door...
Arching an eyebrow slightly, the blonde spun around and hurried toward the storefront. "Sorry, but we happen to be closed. So as much as it pains me to turn your money away, I'm going to have to ask you to come back tomorrow.." Anya began a bit testily, scurrying towards the counter to face the newcomers..

((Cordy <3 she and Spike can have a thread latah if ye want.))
Spike knew he'd be able to track the vengeance demon if he tried to. She had a very distinctive scent to a super-sensed vampire, of sweet-smelling perfume along with demon-scent that had an odd trace of human to it. And it wasn't difficult to find out where she worked anyway, what with the way she tended to stand out in people's memories. So Spike led the way to the department store, Buffy in tow. After his recent reunion with the slayer, he had promised to reunite her with a mutual old friend of there's.
Spike still wasn't really sure where he and Buffy stood. He loved her, certainly, and perhaps she even loved him back, but did that mean anything? He was still a vampire, and she was still a slayer. And after all they had been through, and the time that passed, Spike wasn't sure that acting on his feelings for her was as simple as it ideally would be. Some things just needed time. Hopefully, meeting up with Anya would help some. With the Scooby Gang slowly starting to reform, Spike thought perhaps things could eventually get back to the way they were. And besides the emotional investment he had in the affair, their reunion was very practical as well. A slayer, a vampire, and a demon would be a very effective team no matter what New York might have to offer.
Spike stopped in front of the door, and turned around to where he assumed Buffy was following. "I have to warn you, she's been a bit temperamental of late. You know how she can get. But she's still the same old Anya." He assured her with a smile. Then Spike turned and pushed open the door, which was surprisingly unlocked even though the sign read "Closed". Walking inside, Spike took a look around. The store was actually very big, very upper-end looking. He wondered why Anya, accustomed as she was to working in privately owned shops, now preferred to work in a place like this.
When Anya came running up, Spike struggled not to smile. From the looks of things, she had been cleaning. With a feather duster. Some things never changed. "Come now, is that how you greet all your old mates?" Spike asked teasingly when she assumed they were customers. Before striking up more of a conversation, Spike waited for Buffy to enter the store. After all Anya wasn't even aware that Buffy was here, and Buffy had not seen Anya since her apparent death. He anticipated that they were probably going to do that whole weird squealy thing that girls did.

Buffy followed Spike as she wondered where was he taking her exactly. Or more like where was Anya working. She listened to him speak and tell that he will take her to where Anya worked which was why she followed. Buffy wasn't sure it was possible that Anya was back but then again she thought that way about him and yet here he was, so it meant no doubt that anything else was possible too. As Spike stopped she stopped too as she looked at him confused but listened to him anyways. She then nodded in understanding.
As Spike entered she sighed then looked a side and after that she followed him in as she looked around then at Spike as she waited to see Anya. It was when she heard Anya's voice and sighed as she was shocked. Buffy froze for a minute as she listened to what Spike had to say. She looked around then at Spike and after that at the direction Anya came from. "Anya?" was all she said for now. Buffy was glad that both Spike and Anya were back. She was glad that Spike wasn't the first which no doubt meant that Anya wasn't either if he could touch her. Which by what she understood he could.
"Spike, do you think she will recognize me? Would she even remember me at all? Or more like does she remembers me at all?" Buffy asked as she really did want to know. "Maybe I should go Xander and the others to meet us here, what do you think?" Buffy said over sudden as she looked at Spike waiting for a reply. It was a bit after she got over the shock. "They are here too" she added.
Buffy thought that perhaps she should let the others know considering she was sure that the others would love to see them both, or at least just Anya anyways. Well she was sure that Xander would love to see her but she wasn't sure how the others would react. She was sure that Dawn would love to see both Anya and Spike since she was pretty close to them after all. Buffy knew for a fact that everyone would definitely be surprised to see both Anya and Spike since they all saw them die or at least heard that they die so it would be surprising to see that the were back.
"How is it you guys are back, anyway?" she asked over sudden still can't believe that it was real, even if she knew that it was real. More real then she ever expected it to be. Buffy never thought that anything like that was even possible until now. She then stood next to Spike as without noticing she put her hand in his. She then looked over at her hand that touched his as she moved it away fast.

Despite her hurried attempts to reach the storefront, she wasn't quick enough to intercept the smirking British vampire as he made his way into her workplace. Unlike their last encounter, she immediately recognized her old friend as he approached, and skidded to a stop upon realizing that Spike was not, in fact, a customer."Oh...it's just you." The blunt, casually observant way in which Anya said this might have suggested disappointment to anyone unfamiliar with the demon's usual way of speaking...but truth be told, she was actually a bit relieved. It would've been a shame to have to turn away a potential money-making opportunity.
So, it would seem that Spike had gotten around to dropping in on her after all. At a typically inconvenient time, no less. Setting the feather duster down on the counter, Anya fixed the vampire with an expectant stare. Undoubtedly, there was a reason for Spike to come knocking at this hour of the night...and it most likely wasn't just for a chat. Had he found some sort of supernatural disturbance? Maybe another apocalypse he needed help dealing with? ...Or was he just here to buy some clothes, the store hours be damned? "What is it, Spike? Is there something..."
It was then that, she realized with a start, Spike was not alone. The door jingled a second time as someone else followed the vampire into the store, and Anya curiously peered around him to see who it was. Perhaps some damsel in distress Spike had rescued from some god-forsaken hellhole? Hmph, if he was here to ask her to do some kind of babysitting job, he had a whole 'nother thing coming—wait, what?!
"Buffy!" Anya abruptly exclaimed only moments after making eye contact with the girl. It seemed her earlier assumption about Spike having had no contact with the rest of the ol' gang was a bit...off. Because, for cryin' out loud, he'd managed to track down Buffy! It almost felt surreal, seeing these people who were literally from another lifetime. But if Spike was here, she supposed, there was no reason to be astounded at the presence of the other Scoobies. Especially Buffy. Buffy and Spike had that whole...magnetic attraction thing going on, after all...Anya could so see them traveling the world together like a couple of lovesick...well, anyway.
With an ecstatic little giggle, the vengeance demon practically bounced over to the pair and pulled the slayer into a tight hug. "I can't believe you're here! Is there some kind of Scooby Gang convention here in New York that I don't know about?!" Anya asked only half-jokingly, her question somewhat muffled until she pulled back from the embrace. A silly grin firmly in place, she glanced cheerfully from Buffy to Spike, and then back again. The presence of her two old friends proved to be an effective distraction from her previous moodiness...in fact, in her excitement it'd actually slipped her mind that Buffy was probably just a tad freaked out right now. What with...Anya assumed to be dead, and all...

((we dont have anyone to play the other Scoobies right? like Dawn, Willow, Xander and them? so shouldnt we make up some excuse as to why they dont show up? cause It wouldnt make sense for them to be in town and never show..=P)) " 'Course she'll remember you. Anya doesn't even forget the odd customer who forgets to pay at the Magic Box, I doubt she'll forget one of her best friends." Spike laughed, trying to comfort Buffy. "As for the rest of the 'em, you might want to hold off until we figure things out. Dont want anyone getting overwhelmed." He could only imagine what a full on Scooby reunion might look like. Dawn would be squealing and yapping away, Xander would probably have some sort of awkward moment with Anya, Giles would stutter something about how it just wasn't possible, and ten bucks says Willow would end up crying. It gave Spike a headache just thinking about it.
He felt a slight brush against his hand and looked down, realizing that Buffy had just almost grabbed his hand. She seemed to notice at the same moment, pulling away. Spike suppressed a sigh. Here they were, acting like schoolkids with crushes. They really needed to sort all of this out before it got ridiculous. The problem was that he wasn't even sure about how Buffy felt about him, and he didn't want to scare her away by saying anything about it.
It was a relief to have Anya notice Buffy at last, and start chattering away so that Spike wouldnt have to say anything. He watched in amusement as the vengeance demon hugged the slayer and asked about a Scooby Gang convention.
"Not that I know of. God help us if there was." Spike smirked and wondered if a "Scooby Gang convention" would involve all of those potential slayers. As far as Spike was concerned, the Scoobies were limited to Buffy, Anya, Xander, Willow, Giles, Dawn, Faith, and himself. But then Spike was never very welcoming of newcomers.
"Alright luv, give her some room to breathe." Spike teased lightly once Anya finally finished squee'ing.

When they locked eyes she was about to say something as the other person spoke first. Buffy noticed that it was Anya as she was completely shocked. She looked between Spike and Anya then smiled. "Oh my god, Anya? Is it really you?" was all she said for now. Buffy was surprised when Spike told her about Anya an she was even shocked to find her working in a store not as a manger. When she asked him the question that she asked she was surprised by his reply but now she was only surprised and shocked that they both were back alive again. Buffy haven't seen them for a long time and now she was in a store with the both of them. Then again she saw Spike without expecting him so if he was back alive she couldn't be surprised that Anya was too but she was.
When Anya did the next thing Buffy eyes got more wider as she just stood there doing nothing but then she hugged her back as she smiled. She was completely overwhelmed by it all. "I can't believe that either of you us here. I never expected to see you both. Actually we all are here but Faith, she is in L.a with Angel and the other gang or with them but not exactly" Buffy replied simply. She could tell that the other one was half joking but she only got her answer after Anya backed away from the hug. She was grateful when Spike asked Anya to give her a chance to breath because Anya was rather chocking her with a strong hug, not to say that she wasn't strong but the hug took her by surprise so. She knew that Spike teased but it was still helpful either way or so she thought. Buffy noticed that the other woman was grinning as she smiled at both of the ones with her. She noticed that Anya looked between the two of them as she sighed.
As she heard Spike's reply to her other question she nodded. "Good idea. No one wants that, that's for sure" she replied. Buffy was glad to have them both and hoped that she wasn't imagining it even so she doubted that she was. She was so happy that they were back that she didn't care much if she was dreaming or not, also she doubted that she was even dreaming at all. All the check that she did so far proved that she wasn't dreaming.
When their hands brushed together she just blushed as she looked down and took her hand away. Buffy hoped that no now noticed her blush but she couldn't be sure. She could tell that Spike felt her hand brush his as well as she noticed that he saw her move her hand away, which meant he no doubt knew that she noticed too. Buffy was very confused about her feelings. There they were acting like school kids with a crush even so they weren't school kids. She wanted to sort it somehow but she hoped that Spike won't think that she pretended to have feelings for him when she didn't so.
It was good to be noticed but she felt weird about it all, not that she was complaining. Buffy did however noticed that Spike seemed relived that Anya noticed her and that they payed attention to each other more and she figured that he didn't wished to speak at that moment. When Spike laughed at what Anya asked she did too.
"I doubt there will be, since Giles is in England he met us half way out of Sunnydale after it was destroyed and traveled with us a little but now we ate all here. No convention so and without Faith and Giles and not all slayers. Others are with Faith, and some are with Giles too" Buffy said after hearing what Spike said. She noticed that Spike smirked after what he said as she laughed at that too.

OOC://...Yeah that might be a problem. xD Oh well, we can come up with some crazy reason why they never meet up.
Faith? Giles? The vengeance demon was hit with a wave of nostalgia as Buffy mentioned some of these familiar faces. Anya really did miss them all. Hell, she even sort of missed those cannon-fodder mini-slayers, despite the fact that she'd barely tolerated their presence when they were all holed up in Buffy's house together. And now she was getting all sniffly...bah, she really had gone all soft! So much for 'not getting attached to humans'; she'd went and bonded with the majority of Sunnydale's former population.
"I can't believe you're here, either!" Anya exclaimed excitedly, her gaze flickering between Buffy and Spike as if she feared one of them would disappear if she too her eyes off them for too long. "I mean, I was dead. But then I wasn't. And I couldn't go back and find you guys, what with Sunnydale kind of...ceasing to exist. But...now you're here! The both of you! And judging from the generally awkward atmosphere, I'd say the two of you are still making eyes at each other. Some things never change." She gave a wistful little sigh, evidently quite unaware of how bluntly she'd called out the tension between her two friends. The whole thing between Spike and Buffy would forever baffle Anya. She simply didn't understand why they had to make things so complicated and difficult. If they'd just tell each other how they felt, everything would be better!
But for the moment, the blonde had bigger concerns than her fangirl-y observation of the pair's unpredictable relationship. For instance, according to Buffy most of the old gang was still around! Minus Giles, who'd never been around much anyway, and Faith, who was off with Angel's crew doing...whatever broody sort of detective stuff they did in LA. At this point, Anya's curiosity was pretty much boiling over. Shaking her head, the demon focused her gaze on Buffy. "Oh Buffy, you'll have to tell me everything that happened after I was brutally slaughtered like a spring lamb!" she insisted brightly. "How is...everyone? Still alive and reasonably un-maimed? Willow didn't go all psycho-witch again, did she? And..." Anya hesitated for the briefest of moments, and narrowed her eyes slightly. "...How's Xander?"
The mention of her ex-fiance almost made Anya grimace. Those were memories that she didn't particularly wish to recall...but, reluctant as she was to admit it, she really was sort of worried about him. She hadn't seen him in so long...he was probably completely lost without her. What if he'd picked up some sleazy, manipulative other demon, or monster, or mummy, or...any of those supernatural things he seemed to be so attracted to? Or worse! What if he'd picked up some sleazy, manipulative, completely normal girl?! The nerve...
Abruptly, Anya ceased her silent ranting. She had to stop thinking about Xander. She...wasn't supposed to do that anymore. Besides, there were actually even more things she wanted to know that hadn't been asked yet. Right now, she needed to focus on catching up with Buffy and Spike.
Turning to the vampire, the vengeance demon gave him a quizzical semi-smile. "And...Spike? You never exactly told me: what happened to you?" Because really, Anya was getting the feeling that she was missing something here. Which wasn't an uncommon occurrence for her, but still! Why were Spike and Buffy only being reunited now? What had happened after the battle to make him leave her?

Spike listened patiently to Anya's excited chatter, and occasionally he shot an amused look at Buffy. Their demon friend obviously had no qualms about letting her excitement show. Spike on the other hand, was a little more careful by nature. Meeting up with his friends was an unexpected stroke of luck, and seeing Buffy again was something he couldn't even describe. But he had to keep his emotions in check for now, because he wasn't sure where they all stood with each other at this point. Making things even more awkward, Anya chose that moment to call them out on their obvious confused feelings. Of course, Spike thought, he should have known that she wouldn't let that one slide. Anya called things like she saw them, so he would have to tone it down even more if he was trying to be subtle about his feelings for Buffy. He cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Yes erm, you sure know how to ease the tension don't you, pet?" said Spike to Anya, trying to sound goodnatured although he didn't dare look at Buffy at that particular moment. Thankfully Anya wasn't dwelling on the subject for too long. He chuckled a little as he listened to her continue to bombard Buffy with questions. But still, he wanted to make sure she didn't overwhelm the slayer too much. After all, Buffy was still clearly experiencing some shock. There were clearly a lot of questions they all had, and the answers might take awhile. Spike didn't want to add to the all the excitement, but he actually was curious about what Buffy and the Scoobies were up to as well. "Yeah Buff, you will tell us all about your little adventures since we, er, parted?" prompted Spike. Knowing Buffy, she probably saved the world something lie six more times since he last saw her.
Also, Spike would have a lot of explaining to do where Anya was concerned. Since Anya hadn't been fighting down in the hellmouth, she had not witnessed anything that happened there. But if they were all going to exchange stories, maybe it was better to do it in a more comfortable setting. "Well that's a long story, and I'll make sure I tell it. But first, how 'bout we get out of here? If we're gonna do the whole catching up bit, we might wanna find ourselves a place to relax first. 'Sides, your store's meant to be closed, and we wouldn't want to get you in trouble by getting you caught letting our sort in after hours." Spike pointed out. Maybe they could find themselves a bar or coffee shop. Also, Spike wondered if Anya was going to explain her story to Buffy. He wasn't sure how Buffy would take the news of Anya being a demon again. But he certainly wasn't getting in the middle of that one!

As she answered to Anya she watched her and her reaction as she sighed. Buffy watched Anya confused then looked at Spike and back at her. She sighed as she looked between the two once more and lifted an eye brow at the look on Spike's face before she looked back at Anya once more. Buffy was glad to see them but they still confused her here and there but she still liked them, even so she couldn't exactly explain why. She did knew few reasons she liked them but not all of the reasons so.
"Well it makes all of us then" she said to Anya after hearing her exclamation. Buffy noticed that Anya looked between her and Spike as she then looked between the two of them once more. As she heard what Anya said she sighed and then lifted an eyebrow as she said the last part and sighed again. "You came back? Just like that? Same as Spike then? That is unbelievable. Yeah no Sunnydale but you could try to find the watchers council and ask for Giles and find out about us from him so but it's OK. At least I see you both here so that is something. As for me and Spike we are not confused about our feeling and we do not do eyes at each other. Do we? No, I don't think we do, I guess we kinda do but then again who knows" she said as she confused herself with the last part. Buffy looked a bit embarrassed but calmed down as much as she could. She looked between the two waiting for them to speak again.
Buffy watched both as she wondered who would speak next. At that moment she wasn't to sure what else should she say. Buffy felt like she was stuck in a dream, a dream that was very real and surprising as well as a little scary but all in all a nice dream. "Eh, alright Anya I suppose I can tell you what happened. Sometime but not now, alright?" she said as she looked at Anya, clearly still not sure what to think about the whole thing. Buffy watched Anya as she stared at her a bit puzzled by the question then laughed a little and shock her head. "No, don't worry Willow didn't go all dark and wainy, again no worries. The others are just fine. Some got a job while others don't. Xander is fine but never moved on from you. He worked in town you can see him when you want, he works in a bar in town. Or so he says, I am not to sure really" She looked at Spike as he said and nodded. "I will do it. I shell tell you but it is a lot of information so"
Buffy watched Anya closely as she wondered what was Anya thinking about. She then picked up an eyebrow once more and sighed as she looked at Spike and gave him the look that said 'What's with her?' which was about Anya and she hoped that he understood her. Buffy wondered if both Spike and Anya were alright or not as she truly did care for them.
She smiled at both until she saw Anya look at Spike and ask him what she asked as her smile that moment turned to frown. "He didn't tell you? Typical of him. He died like you pretty much but he is back now, like you" she said as she looked at him and sighed. She listened to him speak as she looked between Anya and him once more as she agreed with him that they shouldn't be in the store at that time. They definitely didn't want to get in trouble or even get Anya in trouble that was for sure. Buffy sighed and nodded in agreement with what he said.
"I agree with Spike here, we should get out of here and find a better place to talk. Maybe a bar near by or something like that. Besides far from here the better that is for sure. No offense Anya" Buffy looked between the two and sighed once more then looked down and after that she looked again between the two. She looked around the place and at Anya. "Not your normal place of work, Anya by the way"

Blissfully oblivious to the slight discomfort her comment had caused the pair, Anya gave a tiny shrug and accepted Buffy's evasive answer without comment—though probably more out of interest in what the slayer had to tell her about her old friends rather than the development of any sort of tact. So Willow hadn't flayed anyone lately...well, that could only be described as good news! And as for Xander...actually, she wasn't too sure how she felt about Xander. Anya had expected a sense of satisfaction upon hearing that he still hadn't moved on, but the news was actually kind of depressing. Whatever issues she had with her ex-fiance, she hadn't meant to ruin his life by...dying. And really, Anya wasn't even sure whether this was one particular reunion she really wanted to experience...it'd be all...awkward and tense...Spike and Buffy were a prime example of that. So for now, the she chose not to acknowledge this particular tidbit of information.
Now seemed as good a time as any to make their exit, and she'd been just about done cleaning anyway. And anyway, a bar sounded good! They clearly all had a few stories to exchange, and Anya was guessing that some of them would go down better with a bit of alcohol. Spike, for instance, had only just now made a vague promise to fill her in on his own life...only to be called out by Buffy for dying seconds later! "What?!" Anya spun around to face the vampire, her eyes gleaming. "You died too? Holy crap, that place must've been a bloodbath!" she exclaimed with exaggerated incredulity, deciding that this was definitely one story she definitely had to hear the rest of. Of course she couldn't really blame Spike for not filling her in earlier...she had kind of stormed off the last time they'd met, after all.
But the sooner they got out of the shop, the sooner some real answers would be forthcoming. Bouncing over to the closet to retrieve her coat, she only paused momentarily upon hearing the next words spoken. When Buffy questioned the circumstances of Anya's own revival, the vengeance demon's light brown eyes darted to Spike. Obviously, the vampire had told Buffy nothing of the circumstances of her return. And judging from the slightly wary expression on his face, he was currently thinking the same thing she was: Buffy didn't know that she was a demon again.
Awkward.
Anya's smile faltered slightly as she lifted her jacket from the coat-rack, pondering the best way to proceed. The last time she'd had her demon status re-instated, after all, the slayer had more or less lost most of her trust for her former friend...and had ended up almost killing Anya, actually. Not exactly what she'd call good times. Almost guiltily, she lowered her gaze to the ground. Realistically, she knew that this wasn't something she could keep from Buffy forever. And it wasn't something she should keep from her, but...once again, perhaps this wasn't the best time for exposition. So with nothing more than a warning glance shot toward Spike, the demon quite abruptly turned and opened the door.
"Alright, so! Let's go find ourselves a bar!" the demon chirped airily. Her extremely uncharacteristic evasiveness was probably enough to set off alarm bells in the mind of anyone who knew her well, but for now she could only pray that Buffy wouldn't ask too many questions. Motioning for her two friends to exit ahead of her so she could lock up afterward, Anya gave a tentative smile.
"Oh, it's sort of a downgrade, I know. I'd much prefer to be running my own place of business, but I suppose I'll have to work my way up to that. It's not so bad, though...I get to manage the money!" The thought of this never failed to brighten Anya's mood, and despite her apprehensiveness, she couldn't help but comment on Buffy's final observation.

Spike was well aware of the questioning look Buffy gave him. He looked back at her for a minute and then shook his head. If Buffy was wondering about Anya's behavior, there was nothing he could say right now. It was Anya's place to tell her. Spike would just be there to keep the arguing down to a bare minimum. Or the fighting, if it actually came to that. Spike doubted that Buffy would actually attack Anya for being a demon. But after everything that the Slayer had been through, there was no way of knowing for sure.
Spike sighed when Buffy told Anya of his death, but didn't say anything to deny it. He'd just been hoping to get to a place where he could explain things a little better. But now that all three of them knew, he wasn't going to worry about it. He just didn't want them fussing over it either. Spike gave a snort of laughter at Anya's wide eyed exclamation. "Yeah. Fortunately it was the other side that took most of the beatin' in the end. But we can talk all about it later."
Spike glanced at Buffy and motioned to the door where Anya was standing expectantly. There was more he wanted to say, and also more that he wanted to hear, but it had to wait for now.

Buffy looked between them and sighed as she waited for them to go. She thought that it would be better then talk there none stop. Buffy thought that any place would be better then there, well almost every place anyway. "Spike will explain later as he said. But let's go else where first. The club works or the bar, either way I am cool with it" she looked between the two as she waited for a reply.
She wondered where would they all like to go. After all Buffy didn't want to pick one place when they wanted to go o another. It wasn't her style after all.

All of this dilly-dallying around was real fun and all, Anya reflected impatiently, but they were never going to get anywhere if they didn't make a decision fast! With a pointed, exaggerated sigh, she motioned to the two of them hurriedly. "A club. Let's go there! There's one within walking distance..." She glanced briefly out into the night and pointed in the direction she knew the place to be in. "...a couple blocks over." Quality time with the Scoobies...this would be interesting. Of course Anya's suggestion of where they might go was made spontaneously; she didn't really frequent the clubs around here..."It'll be fun! Well, at least I think it will be. I don't do the New York nightlife thing much. Most people you find in nightclubs don't even wanna talk. They're just interested in sex and alcohol." Sometimes it seemed as if Anya didn't even hear the things that came out of her own mouth, completely oblivious to the awkwardness her bluntness more often than not caused. After a moment longer of consideration, her smile returned. "But with you two in tow, I'm sure it'll be a blast!"
No doubt about that. And despite the fact that it'd been a long day, the demon was now almost fully re-energized by her elation at being reunited with her friends, her eagerness to catch up with them and hear Spike's story, and...of course, a bit of jittery-ness concerning Buffy and her reaction once she realized that Anya wasn't quite so human anymore. Buuuut she'd worry about that later. If they ever actually got to the club, that was...sheesh!
With an over-excited little twirl, Anya stepped outside into the night, one arm still extended to prop open the shop door so that she could call back to her companions. "Come on, you guys are taking like, fifty million years! And I need to lock the door before we leave. It prevents burglars or wanted criminals fleeing the police from sneaking in here in the middle of the night." The demon explained knowledgeably, rocking back and forth on her feet in what was quite obviously a display of impatience.

Spike chuckled at Anya's ramblings on the typical human nightlife. What could he say, her description was pretty accurate. Anya seemed hopelessly incapable of truly understanding human ways, but sometimes he wondered whether she was the only one in this world who wasnt crazy. Her unskewed and unsoftened view of the world was often refreshing. Now if only he could get her to speak her honest opinion of him and Buffy. In private of course, he'd wait to mention it because he wouldnt put it past the demon to start babbling about it right in front of the slayer. He glanced at Buffy unsurely. Club, bar, it didn't seem to matter to her and she appeared more than willing to let Anya make the decision. Why was it always so difficult to tell what the slayer was thinking? Spike stopped himself and looked away when he realized that staring her the way he was much longer was probably going to come off as strange.
"Come on, pet. Apparently we've been taking fifty million years." Spike quoted Anya jokingly with a wink to Buffy. "Time flys when you're having fun, I s'pose." He walked forward then, because if they stayed here much longer he suspected that Anya might explode from impatience. Spike headed out the door and into the street. He glanced around casually. He knew of the club Anya had mentioned, just down the block. Might as well start out for it. Spike began to walk. Hopefully Buffy had followed him out and Anya had locked up, and they both would be close behind him. He took a glance back to make sure that this was the case.
Right now Spike was trying to keep himself from thinking too hard. About Buffy, and about all that had happened. There was going to be plenty of time to get all of their questions answered once they had reached the safe casual setting of the club. That was if they could ever actually get there.
