Let the chaos... BEGIN!))
The vast society of the Thromnular was one of the most ancient civilizations in the galaxy. They could alter reality with a single thought, need, or want. Because of this, the Thromnularians where incredibly gifted and tragically doomed. Rules and restrictions had been placed to keep order, but like all societies, there were those who sought to break these devices of order. Under these circumstances the Thromnular crumbled and their culture lost. But remnants of it can still be found today; like the Temple of Hr--
Wait... it was quiet. Way too quiet for Titans Tower. Titans Tower was never quiet, not during a single time of the day. Raven lowered her book from her gaze, slowly. She was expecting Robin to rush in with a distress call, or Beast Boy and Cyborg to barge in wanting to play video games, or even Starfire to come bounding in with an attempt to spend "girl-time" with her... No one could be seen or heard though.
Standing, Raven hovered to the main doorway leading to their respective rooms, setting her book on the counter as she passed the kitchen. Wandering through the hallways, she heard not a peep. Not even Beast Boy's room held any commotion. Raven must have missed some piece of information that would explain everyone's disappearance.
As she came to her own door, she opened it to find one of her bookshelves rocking back and forth, dangerously. Seeing it tip over, the teen super hero saw a glimmer of something fall from the top of the bookshelf. It was her Mental Mirror, The Portal to Her Mind! She yelled a protest and dove for the mirror with her arm outstretched towards it.
"Azarath Metrion Zyntho--!" The mirror collided with the floor before she could finish her incantation... and shattered. As the mirror shards flew everywhere, Raven fell to her knees and gripped her head as if in pain.

While it didn't quite have the same traditional feel that Japan or China did, the food itself was still excellent - not that Hei ever particuarly cared about taste as long as it was edible. Despite the vast number of shops in the San Francisco tourist district and the almost never ending hustle and bustle of the ever present crowds, regardless of the time of day, something rather unusual marked that particular day - while usually each of the street side stores managed to draw about the same amount of attention as the next one over, one of the little glass fronted cafes had a growing crowd gathered in front of it. While some of them were there for the food, the vast majority of the visitors had never even heard of the place before and had stopped for one reason and one reason only - to watch what would have been an obscene display of gluttonly had the food not simply seemed to disappear without a trace, and the young man eating it all managing to remain impeccably clean, with not a crumb or drop seeming to be wasted or find its way beyond the plate of origin or his mouth. As for the person in question, his appetite didn't seem to match his size at all - seeming to stand at an apparently average height and of thin build, his jeans, white button shirt, green jacket and dark hair and eyes all looked..... well, average. That, and San Francisco's location meant that there were plenty of Asian tourists and residents around as well, meaning that Hei looked even more nondescript, someone people normally wouldn't think twice about giving a second look. Just the same, though, as Hei added yet another empty plate to the large and still growing pile, drawing the attention of one of the cafe's waiters in the process, a numerous sounds could be heard from the small crowd as many voiced their disbelief as he ordered even more food, having already easily eaten enough for five. All in all, Hei was pleased with his stay in the United States so far, even though he'd already been there for a few days. It lacked the familiarity that he'd had with his past ports of call, so to speak, giving him a feeling of relative unease much as Russia had, but that was more due to the fact that he was unfamiliar with the country at large, and that feeling would fade with time. He learned quickly, adapted quickly, and for the first time in a long time he was relatively carefree - he had enough funds left over from his first job in this reality to keep himself fed and sheltered for weeks if he budgeted it properly, and he needed time to think - time to figure out how he'd ended up where he was, time to figure out where everyone else had gone, and time to figure out where he was going to go given his relatively specialized skill set. Still, that could wait until later. In the meantime he'd enjoy the relative peace as best he could - rest, regroup, and above all, refuel.

What a GLORIOUS day to sleep in! The alien super hero who was like the quirkiest foreign exchange student EVER had such a happy dream! The levels of WONDERFUL couldn't be expressed in a single word and she was guzzling SO MUCH MUSTARD in this dream! But...something MAGICALLY TERRIBLE happened! That's right, the mustard bottle EXPLODED into sparkles and pixies with little flowers here and there! Opening up her jade and emerald tinted optics, waking up from the strange dream all wide-eyed and bushy tailed. Blinking out of sheer confusion for a couple moments, the alien teen hadn't a clue what in the world was up with an exploding mustard bottle but now she was REALLY craving the stuff!
Why was it so dark...? OH NOES DID SHE SLEEP IN?! Sitting up in her bed, the green beam shooting Titan let out a muffled squeak and....tasted something VERY strange. It was soft and fluffy and....OH GOODNESS DID SHE EAT BEAST BOY?! Shoving off the covers with a purple pillow stuck in her mouth, her hair was all frizzed up and...was the sun still up? Looking down at her mouth, she plucked out the slobbery pillow and frowned having nothing but disgust plastered on her face, "Um...well...at least you are not Beast Boy...." Azarath, Metrion, Zyntho--! followed by a shatter hit her ear drums before she plucked the slobbered up pillow out of her mouth and tossed it across the room.
Gasping out of shock as she wiped the look of disgust from her face and blurted out "Raven!" Her dear friend who she would have girl days with was in trouble! SHE HAD TO HELP HER! Quickly getting out of bed, the red head was trying to figure out what there was to make her happy even though she was swimming around in worry. No dice on the flying just yet then! Running across the room in her pink and purple flower pajamas, when she met the door...her palm was brought on up to push it open and she continued her dash to the goth girl always in blue's room. Once her hurried steps guided her there, she knocked repeatedly on the door and called out with a sense of panic ringing clearly in her tone, "Raven? Raven?! Are you alright? Are you hurt? Is something being of the matter? I do not mean to intrude on your cherished privacy but I do wish to be let in or at least know if you are safe!"
Those words spewed out of her mouth in fast forward as she continued knocking on the door. Biting her lower lip, she sure hoped her best pal was alright!

The residual energy Raven released blew furniture backwards and flung her door open, revealing Raven's distress to one of her only friends. Still on her knees, Raven doubled over in pain. The shattered remains of the portal into her mind began to glow. Each piece emitted a different color; pink, green, grey, orange, yellow, purple, brown, and red. Suddenly, Raven completely froze. She fell the remaining way to the floor, but, as she fell, each shard of her mirror shot towards her body and she lit up with all of the colors of before. In the blink of an eye, Raven vanished, the only trace she had been there was the eight rays of light that arced from her fading body.
A bright, green light shot through the window of Raven's room. It flew through the air, over the city of Gotham and straight to the main building of Wayne Interprises. The light collided with one of the building's many windows and blasted through it. Crashing through most of the furniture within, the light skidded to a halt against the wall; in its place was a small girl. She looked very much like Raven, except instead of a gentle blue cloak, she wore a vibrant green one. Brave opened her eyes and looked about her. "Hoh, yeah! Looks like there's finally gonna be some action!"
A beam of brown light arced from Raven's room and flew to San Fransisco. Shooting through the sky over the city, the light came lower and lower to the ground. As the very hungry man ate nearby, the brown light ray crashed right into a large kiosk advertising small bowls of soup. Bowls, utensils, soup, and wood flew in every direction from the crash. As passersby investigated the crash, there wasn't a light the color of earthen mud, but a girl who looked exactly like the miserable Teen Titan only with a deep brown cloak instead of blue. Lazy gave an exasperated sigh before falling backwards in an attempt to go to sleep for a little while.
Arc after arc of colorful light shot from the window, heading in every direction. Only one color remained in the tower... Shooting forth from Raven's vanishing point, the pink beam of light bounced off the walls of Raven's bedroom, crashing down the hallway and flying through doorways, until finally colliding with the couch in the Living/Meeting room. Laying in the couch's remains was yet another clone of Raven, however this one wore a bright pink cloak. Happy rose from her position and dusted herself off with a smile. With a bright and cheery voice, she said "Uh, oh! We're in trouble!!" A small giggle escaped the Emoticlone as she surveyed the damage she had done to the couch.
(Sorry I didn't get to everyone! I didn't know where everyone was located! >.> Feel free to detail each Emoticlones' arrival, yourself, if you were left out! Tell me if I got anything wrong and I'll fix the issue! D: )

Anya really couldn't understand why people complained about working so much. It was always 'Ugh, I have to work tomorrow' or 'Thank God its Friday!'. What were they so upset about? They were making money, and money was just about one of the best things in the whole entire human world! It was for this reason that the vengeance demon was almost never in an unpleasant mood while she was working, and today was no exception. Especially since her newly opened magic shop - named 'The Magic Box' both as a homage to and an attempt to revamp the old premises in Sunnydale - was so pleasantly busy today! This morning she'd already sold an ancient volume on elemental magic, several vials of holy water and the last of the essence of rose thorn - she made a mental note to restock later.
All in all, by the time her lunch break rolled around Anya was in a fairly cheery mood, most of the troubles that had been plaguing her recently forgotten for the moment. Taking care to hang the usual sign on the door - Out to Lunch, Back at 1:00 - she locked up with a satisfied smile before turning and stepping out onto the sidewalk. It was nice, having her own place of business. Not as easy as she'd imagined it to be, but quite rewarding. Though...it did get a bit lonely. She supposed she was just used to having Giles to work with, or at the very least the Scoobies wandering in and out of the shop every now and then. That was how it'd been in Sunnydale, but things were different here. She'd just have to get used to it. Occasionally Anya had considered hiring someone to help run the place, but...she hadn't quite figured out who she'd be willing to trust with her money yet. That was quite a big decision to make!
Humming softly to herself, she started off down the street...only to stop dead in her tracks where an odd, colorful....light streaked right over her head. Very slowly, the blonde tilted her head up to stare, blinking rapidly as if she half-expected the spectacle to disappear once she cleared her head. But no, evidently whatever she'd just seen was very, very real - and it seemed to have landed somewhere in the alley behind The Magic Box. Lovely. Now she had to worry about some potentially dangerous...whatever-it-was causing a commotion right near her shop! Anya glanced around quickly, wondering whether anyone else had spotted the strange light - for now, however, it seemed they were in the clear. "One normal day, just...one..." the demon grumbled to herself as she turned around once again and made for the alley "Is that too much to ask?!"
Her complaints weren't really directed toward any divine force that might or might not have been listening in particular, but they were complaints none the less. Still, she tried not to allow this new development to dampen her mood too much just yet. For all she knew, whatever she was dealing with here wasn't necessarily bad. ...Aaaand it was that kind of optimistic thinking that got people killed. Scoffing slightly, Anya turned the corner into the alley and gazed around in search of the source of the colored light she'd just seen...

In spite of the attention Hei was devoting to the food in front of him, with yet another rather large plate being set in front of him on the table by the somewhat wary waiter, the Contractor never really stopped paying attention to his surroundings. He was focused on what he was doing, yes, and his guard was much lower than it usually was, but it never completely dropped - even as he began to dig into the food a small part of his mind remained aware of what was going on around him. As it was he almost didn't notice it thanks to the throngs of people already watching him from the sidewalk - he logically knew that very few if any of them posed him any serious threat or wanted to do him harm, but old habits died hard and he paid attention to them just the same. Between that and his food it was a miracle he noticed that something was out of place at all before the world seemed to explode, the small soup stand next to the restaruant Hei was at doing so in a very literal sense. While most of the people had ducked out of the way as the source of the light that had crashed down, a large "T" shaped tower in the middle of the San Francisco bay being easily in sight of most of the onlookers and as such easily anticipated, and unlucky few had been hit by a number of flying splinters from the soup stand - nothing serious, but there would be a few stitches here and there. All in all, though, the people who lived in the city were well aware of what such things usually meant, and quickly moved to clear the area if they already hadn't with those that had already left continuing to place plenty of distance between themselves and whatever had crashed down. Hei, however, hadn't - having only just arrived in both the city and that very reality, how could he have known better? Having instinctively pushed his plate aside and to the ground before diving across the table and tipping it to act as a shield between him and whatever it was that had so rudely interrupted his meal, Hei briefly tried to piece what had happened together, wondering exactly what it was. A Contractor? They were trained to stay hidden and use their powers only when it would benefit them, and he saw nothing to gain from this. A Moratorium, then? No, such a thing would have placed the city, nevermind the state, on high alert if it was known that one of the creatures was loose or newly born, and there wouldn't have been a soul in sight here, or more likely than not a battalion of soldiers and civil servants keeping people out and evacuating those who remained. And even that didn't fit - Hei suddenly remembered that this was not his world, that Contractors, Hell's and Heaven's Gates and everything that came with them didn't exist at all save for him. What was it then? With the vertical table top still facing him and Hei himself still crouching behind it, the man figured he didn't have much time to waste to begin with. He was, truth be told, in the country illegally using forged documents, and the last thing he wanted was to get involved with the authorities who would be rushing there as Hei thought if they were even halfway competent. Deciding it would be worth the risk if only so he wasn't wasting valuable time, Hei risked a quick glance over the top edge of the table, intending to pull his head back down immediately after but hesitating for a moment when he saw something he least expected - in the middle of the wreckage and clearly the source of the disturbance as dictated by the laws of physics was an oddly clad unconscious girl, seemingly in her teens and uninjured. A dilema, and one he would much rather not have dealt with. The logical course of action would simply have been to run - leave her behind for the authorities, give them no reason to look any further or deeper into the matter as he put as much distance as he could between them and himself much as everyone else had done, and it was the decision any true Contractor would have made in a heartbeat, along with every other civilian who had fled. Apparently they were much smarter than he was. Making the decision after a few more moments of thinking, Hei got up and quickly moved over to the girl, putting two fingers to her neck to check her pulse and pleased to note that it was strong and steady. Along with that observation, though, came another one - sirens, and while they weren't exactly close they weren't far off either. Looking up from the girl Hei tried to position where they were a bit more clearly in his mind, a bit frustrated by the fact he was unfamiliar with the city - it would hinder both escaping unnoticed with whoever this was unconscious, and make staying hidden once they got away equally as difficult.
