Category: Canon ~ American McGee's Alice/Madness Returns
Ranking: Hero
Reason for being on AM: There's gonna be a Wonderland plawt soon :B
Basic Details
Age: 19
Species: Human
Personality: Alice never wanted to be thrown into the madness she's now living. She would have much preferred going through life without her family dying in a fire and she very much would have preferred her sister being kept safe from crazed doctors. Due to all of this happening at a young age, Alice feels great guilt for allowing all of it to happen. Though her travels through her own mind have helped her cure herself of her guilt, it will always linger in the back of her mind like some horrible infection.
Despite her deep inner guilt, Alice has a very sarcastic wit to her speech. Not being one to sit down and allow someone to order her around or insult her, Alice seems to always have a biting comment at hand. She is definitely a strong person with a very cold exterior. Those who meet her aren't bound to have a very extensive conversation. It isn't that she's overly quiet {which she is, at times} but due to her lack of socializing with anyone in the past few years of her life she is not very good at it.
She is mad, of course. It isn't the visible sort of mad like most in Wonderland - it's more subtle. Her madness has been "cured" in the past, but much like her guilt it never fails to resurface. When explored, her madness is directly related to her guilt; once the guilt comes back so does the madness. In London her madness manifested itself as normally as any other mad person - she would have boughts of yelling and violence but act unusually calm most of the time. Fortunately she is more composed when in Wonderland.
Alice is a very driven individual and not one to be distracted. That was unfortunate in Wonderland when every creature there took it on as their mission to distract Alice from her goal. Because of her determination, Alice doesn't commonly associate with anyone she believes will get in her way; unless she absolutely must. She commonly accepts help from those who offer it and has, in the past, developed a few friendships with those few who help her {such as the Cheshire Cat and the White Rabbit}.
You can't expect to be trusted by Alice. Those she's trusted in the past have turned on her time and time again. Eventually you might gain a bit of trust, but she's taught herself to not trust anyone. Even those she does consider friends, like the Cheshire Cat for instance, she doesn't fully trust. She understands that is advice, if one can solve it, is sound but still cannot bring herself to trust anyone; at least not entirely.
Although Alice claims to be fearless, she fears quite a few things. For instance she fears falling back into madness again above anything else. Even though she herself believes she can't be cured of her madness she has fought against it twice. Alice will never show her great fear of being overtaken with madness once again if she can help it.

Powers & Abilities
Combat: Alice is good at using her weapons in a fight. She can easily and quickly exchange one for another if the need to change it arises. This lets her string attacks with different weapons together.
Shrinking: Due to drinking a potion, Alice has gained the ability to shrink down to the size of a mouse and fit through small crevices. Shrinking gives Alice a "shrink vision", which allows her to see microscopic things and invisible things. When shrunk, Alice cannot fight.
Growing: When Alice eats a piece of Eat Me Cake {which she has a few pieces of} she grows to enormous heights. At this height she can't jump or use her weapons - but her size makes up for that.
Teleport/Dodge: To avoid an oncoming attack, Alice can transform herself into a cloud of butterflies and move around for a few seconds before turning back.
Floating: Alice can jump incredibly high to reach certain areas. As she's jumping down she can use her dress as a parachute of sorts to gently float down.
Hysteria:AKA MegaSuperHax FormOnce Alice is hurt enough, or put through severe emotional stress, Alice turns into the incredibly powerful Hysteria mode, which makes her completely invincible and makes her strength and speed better than ever.
Cheshire Cat: Finally, Alice can call upon the Cheshire Cat for help at any given time. While he's not useful in battle, he knows his way around and is quite intelligent.

Main/Important Equipment
---Weapons---
Clockwork Bomb: A rabbit-shaped explosive that can be used to harm enemies and destroy weak walls. The explosion that the bomb gives off is small, but powerful enough to destroy walls and floors.
Hobby Horse: A metallic horse head on a staff that Alice uses to smash things like a giant hammer. The horse head on the top is heavy-hitting and can smash through certain walls.
Pepper Grinder: Given to Alice by the Duchess, the Pepper Grinder is an effective ranged weapon. Rotating the crank fires swift, damaging projectiles at Alice's foes.
Teapot Cannon: What appears to be an average teapot turns deadly when it fires rounds that explode into... steaming hot tea. Okay, that may not sound impressive but it has enough force to easily smash through a wall and one-shot the weakest opponents.
Umbrella: More a shield than a weapon, when Alice opens up her umbrella very little can get through besides the most powerful weapons. Strong, close ranged attacks on the Umbrella will disorient Alice and leave her vulnerable.
Vorpal Blade: The most well-known weapon in Wonderland. The knife was told of in the Wonderland Poem Jabberwocky, in which a champion slays the evil Jabberwock using it. Now it's fallen into the hands of Alice, who uses it to slay any evil that comes her way.
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...
Madness: As evidenced by her mindscape being completely ravaged, Alice is plagued by many kinds of madness. They come from her guilt over her parent's death. Mention of this event in certain ways will likely provoke a violent or sad reaction from Alice.
Physical Flaws...
Mortal: Yep, Alice is completely mortal. She isn't particularly resilient to damage either. Whatever weapon you want to use works if you can hit her with it.
Combat: Despite her skill in weapon using, Alice has no skill in physical fighting and has a distinct lack of physical strength. Without her weapons she isn't really useful... unless she's giant :I
---Power Flaws---
Shrinking: While shrinking, Alice cannot jump or fight at all. It's only useful for going into small holes to get to other areas. You can step on Alice when she's small, making this a very weak form that she will not be using in battle often.
Growing: Alice's enlarged form has very few weaknesses. The biggest would be that she's practically a gigantic target for attacks which she is still vulnerable. If you play your cards right and avoid her attacks you can wait for the eat me cake to wear off.
Hysteria: See, the thing with Hysteria mode is that it... doesn't have any weaknesses. She's completely invincible and incredibly strong. Fortunately it has a time limit - two posts. After that she returns to normal.
Other Flaws...
---Weapon Flaws---
Clockwork Bomb: Seeing as the Clockwork Bomb was not made to be only a weapon it's very easy to avoid. Since it can't move around and has a very small blast radius it is very easy to simply jump away from it.
Hobby Horse: Similar to the Croquet Mallet, the Hobby Horse is a large, heavy weapon. It's slower than her other weapons and has literally no long-ranged capabilities.
Pepper Grinder: The Pepper Grinder is a purely ranged weapon. Because of that, using teleportation or other means of getting close before she can switch weapons is a good way to fight Alice while she's using the Grinder.
Teapot Cannon: The main weakness of the Teapot Cannon is it's speed - it's incredibly sloooooow. It takes a while to charge up and the projectile is slow after being fired.
Umbrella: The Umbrella isn't a weapon :I But, it can be blown back with stronger attacks; particularly close ranged ones.
Vorpal Blade: It's really just a knife. It's fast, but still just a knife. It has short range, but it can be thrown. It isn't a powerful weapon, but it can't be destroyed.

History....
A wiki page should fit nicely here. Quite nicely indeed. I am quite the interior decorator when I want to be. What do you think? Good placing?

It was hardly even jarring for Alice Liddell to have arrived somewhere entirely different than what one was used to. To be frank, she was more used to Wonderland than to anything in London by now. She'd spent so little time there, even after her battle with the Queen of Hearts she had only spent a month there. If she were to be honest she would have said she liked Wonderland far better than London anyway. The people there were simply horrible, especially that horrid doctor. The very thought of him was abhorrent!
And now Alice had somehow ended up in a place called "New York". It was certainly not like Wonderland. The people wore strange clothing and acted strangely. How she had come from killing Doctor Bumby in London to here was anyone's guess. She had roamed through that strange combination of Wonderland and London for far too long before arriving here, though. Perhaps it was something to do with Wonderland. Looking down at herself, Alice realized that she was still wearing the dress she wore in Wonderland.
"Curiouser and curiouser..." Alice said to herself, watching as people walked in and out of stores. While it was certainly more normal than Wonderland it was very different from London. Much cleaner, as well. As Alice continued to walk she spotted a dark, inky mass on the ground. One she recognized well. The Ruin rose up and formed into a small creature that moved towards her. "I still find myself wishing for better hallucinations..." The Ruin didn't scare her - none of the creatures in Wonderland were able to do so. Alice drew her Vorpal Blade and took a slash at the creature. Being one of the weaker varieties, it had died in only a few slashes.
