^Personality: Alois' mood and emotions are in constant fluctuation. At times he'll be upbeat and energetic, and then he could make a sudden shift to an agry or desolate disposition. His poor upbringing has left him in a state of constant need for attention. He often vies for Claude's acknowledgement and punishes those under him who he believes may be trying to steal peoples' attention away from himself.

Alois can seem obsessive and compulsive. He can tire of things easily and yet holds deep fascination in non-material relationships. He can often show jealousy towards Ciel for how easily he captures Sebastian's attention and seems to always be in doubt whether or not anyone loves him.

Powers & Abilities

Faustian Contract: Alois has made a Faustian contract with the demon Claude. The demon must obey any order Alois gives him. This makes Alois quite powerful as the order MUST be carried out, without fail.

Curious Return: Though Alois' soul was consumed by the demon Hannah Anafeloz, he and Claude have somehow managed to return to the mortal world. It is unclear how or why.

OMG~ IT'S DRESS-UP TIEM~!!: Alois is very good at disguising his appearance. He almost managed to trick Ciel into thinking he was a servant girl employed at his own estate. "Alois Trancy" is even a ruse; the boy's real name being Jim Macken. Alois has several outfits in his wardrobe, his favorite being a vampire-esque costume.

^{Psychological Flaws...}

Abuse: Alois was, for a time, a sexslave to the former Earl Trancy. After becoming his adoptive son, Alois' abuse was merely amplified. This has left him quite scarred, mentally.

Nyctophobia: Alois has a severe fear of the dark. When he is in darkness, he is completely paralyzed. He can only manage to fall helplessly to the ground, shivering in fear, until the lights come back on. When the light finally does return, it takes Alois a moment to regain his composure before he can once again function properly.

Autophobia/SAD: Alois has shown signs of both Autophobia, the fear of being alone or by one's self, and Separation Anxiety Disorder. Ever since Luka Macken's death when they were small children, Alois fears being alone in any given situation. He is in a constant state of fear that he will end up alone in the world, with no one there to love him. He is so desperate to have someone there for him that he even begged Claude never to leave his side while clinging to his leg.

Just a Child: By all accounts, Alois is still only just a thirteen year old child from the Victorian era. He doesn't have much power behind him or really any skills besides knowing just how to get under Ciel's skin.

Little Jim Macken grew up in a small town where he and his younger brother, Luka Macken, were treated like vermin. Jim wanted all the villagers to die because of how the two of them were treated. One day, he got his wish. Jim and Luka went into the village to find all its residents had perished overnight. They separated and looked through the whole town; every one of them, dead. Jim had gone in search of Luka when he found his little brother had also died.

Years later, Jim was taken prisoner and forced to be a sex slave for the aging Earl Trancy. Deciding on a course of action, Jim seduced the old man in an effort to get a better life for himself. He was "adopted" as the Earl's son, only for the sexual abuse to continue. When Jim had had enough, he'd formed a contract with a demon. As the late Head of the Trancy Household died, Jim took the name Alois Trancy and inherited the mansion and the title of Earldom. Alongside side him was a butler clad in black. He gave his demon the name Claude Faustus.

A mysterious stranger visited the Trancy home who was later to be revealed as Sebastian Michaelis. He had stolen something from the estate and escaped into the night. It was then that Alois revealed his fear of the dark. Realizing Sebastian was caring Ciel Phantomhive in a luggage trunk, Alois set his sights on the little Earl.

Alois and Ciel traded stabs at each other, as if they were playing a giant game of chess. That is, until Ciel got the upper hand and managed to run Alois through. Fearing Claude was no longer on his side, Alois had Hannah, his maid, cart him off and away from Trancy Manor. However, they didn't make it far before they were stopped by Grell Sutcliff. As Hannah battle the Grim Reaper, Claude found Alois and killed him, trapping his soul in his heirloom ring.

Claude brainwashed Ciel into mixing his past with Alois' and, with Hannah's assistance, Alois was able to possess Ciel's body. Within Ciel's very existence, Earl Trancy and Earl Phantomhive watched as Hannah pitted demon against demon to see who would be rewarded with Ciel's soul. Alois made one final contract, with Hannah this time. He wanted neither Claude nor Sebastian to eat Ciel's soul; so Hannah turned Ciel into a demon and consumed Alois' very own soul.

Now, Earl Trancy has returned, though it's a mysterious as to how... or why.

^{Physical Appearance:} Same as with Alois, I'll just go with the image. He's a butler! Come on!! XD

^Personality: Claude is usually very apathetic to most any given situation. His voice is in an almost constantly flat and emotionless tone. He rarely displays any type of emotion and often seems bored. Claude can also be incredibly obsessive; as evident from his addiction to Ciel after he'd sampled his blood. Knowing he can no longer claim Ciel's soul, Claude has found a new passion in Alois and eagerly awaits to consume his soul, though he may not show it.

He does, however, become quite active around Sebastian; always wanting to make sure he's the better of the two. Claude wants to assure everyone that he is the better butler and will go to any lengths to prove it. His favorite pastime with his rival is the Danse Macabre, or Dance of Death. They have yet to find out who would win in a fair fight.

Faustian Contract: Being contracted to Alois Trancy, Claude must carry out every order the young Earl give him. And the order MUST be carried out, no matter the cost. Claude must faithfully serve Alois until the contract is complete.

Demonic Attributes: Being the demon that he is, Claude has impressive, natural talents. Among them is being able to move so fast the eye cannot follow and being strong enough to topple tress with a brush of his hand. He can remodel an entire mansion in mere moments and is able to perform logic-defying feats.

Spider's Web: Claude is known as the Spider Butler for good reason. Not only can he transform his shape into that of a predatory spider, but he also has a very unique weapon at his disposal. His Spider's Web, though rarely used, is a very special type of thread (or maybe even wire) that is strong and durable... and sharp as a razor.

Laevateinn – Being a demon sword, Laevateinn is a very powerful weapon. Any wound inflicted by Laevateinn can never truly be healed. Claude uses this exclusively when fighting Sebastian Michaelis.

Kitchen Ware: Like Sebastian, Claude favors knives and forks as weapons. However, being the Trancy butler, Claude uses gold knives emblazoned with the House’s Coat of Arms.

Obsessiveness: Claude can go a bit overboard, whenever he finds something he wants. He'd do anything imaginable to try and claim whatever it is. Claude can seem single-minded in his endeavors to obtain that which he obsesses over and can often be blind to other things going on around him.

Second-Best: Hard to believe, yes, but Claude has only managed to be the second-best butler, as of yet. He has been able to rival Sebastian almost anywhere, but he's not as experienced at it as Sebastian. After all, he did leave a speck of sauce on the plate...

History....

As Jim Macken made his decision and formed a contract with a demon, that very demon imprinted the mark of his contract on Alois' tongue. The demon was given the name Claude Faustus and took his place at Alois Trancy's side as his butler.

As events played out, Claude became infatuated with the prospect of consuming Ciel's soul. He began plotting how to do and soon confirmed Sebastian's suspicions that it was he who had stolen Ciel's soul and locked it within the manor, at Alois' orders.

After killing Alois, Claude kidnapped Ciel and tricked him into believing Alois' past was his own. He then began to serve the child as a sort of hybrid-master of Ciel and Alois. He did not suspect Hannah was up to something on her own. As he and Sebastian competed for Ciel's soul, and eventually dueled for it, Claude realized just how important Aloi' soul can be. He realized his mistake in his final moments as he was pierced by Laevateinn; he would join Hannah, Luka, and Alois soon after.

However, with Alois' return, there stood at his side a butler clothed only in black...

The House of Trancy had been abandoned for quite some time now. No one knows quite what happened to the young Earl Trancy and his servants; only that, one day, they just vanished. The home had been overrun with weeds and plants. Until, miraculously, one day it just wasn’t. Local residents had gone to bed, same as usual, and the next: the old estate had been magically transformed back into an extravagant manor. Rumors had begun flitting about. Some believed a ghost or malevolent spirit had begun haunting the manor, others said the heir to the Trancy name had returned.

Within the stately mansion, there sat a young boy on one of the more elegant beds. He had pale blonde hair and pale blue eyes. His foot bounced up and down in time with his impatient thoughts. He was half-dressed, left momentarily abandoned, as breakfast was prepared. Upon his face was an expression of complete boredom. And then his face transformed into that of incredible happiness as a figure reentered the room. He was tall, clad in black. Golden eyes peered out under a head of ebony hair. Resting on the bridge of his nose was a pair of rimless glasses. Immediately, he set back to work. Pulling on the little boy’s green vest and purple coat, and finally his brown boots with their purple laces, neither had yet to speak a word to each other. Until…

“Are you so upset with me that you refuse to speak?” Alois Trancy peered down at his butler with a sour expression.

“No.” Claude Faustus gave his master a level stare as he put the finishing touches on his master’s appearance.

Alois’ mouth pulled down into a frown as he rose from the bed. “You deserved it; you both did.” His harsh frown lessened somewhat as the Trancy butler bowed his head in acknowledgement. “Then why have you not said a word to me since our return?”

“Day into night, sugar into spice, anger into passion, navy into golden. That is the Trancy butler way. I wait in the shadows, awaiting my master’s order.” That answer elicited a small smile from the young Earl. Claude had a way about him that was simply professional… and magnificent.

“Take me to him! I want to see him; I want to see how he’s living the life I gave him.”

Claude Faustus, the Spider Butler of the Trancy estate, dropped to his knee with his hand over his heart and bowed his head once more. “Yes, Your Highness.” Claude stood up before bending down and scooping Alois into his arms. He held his master tightly, making sure he would be comfortable, as he dashed out of the manor faster than the eye could follow and took him to the last place one would expect: Phantomhive Manor.

Could you give a general description of Claude's abilities? C: Like what he's capable of doing for those who are unfamiliar with Kuroshitsuji II/Black Butler II.

Though Alois is kinda powerless, I think his ability at disguises is worth honorable mention X3 He can make a passable girl if I do say so myself XD!!! ohthatepisode....
