Whatever happened was lost in her memory banks, but all she knew is she somehow survived a series of unfortunate events and found herself here. It was almost like some patients would call sleep walking or even a drunken stupor. Humans were strange....but if she was one her head would prolly be killing her due to all the time spent rattling the processes in her memory bank. With her arms folded upon a desk while resting her cheek against her arms, staring at what appeared to be a taxidermy raccoon upon a shield shaped plaque. The city's mascot...and...it was both mildly entertaining but a pinch bit annoying at the same time. Why? Well...she boredly poked it upon the nose and it made little raccoon noises as though it was haunted by a chitter chattery critter rather than a mechanical sound box for a toy. Then again, this place had something odd about it.
Records she gathered didn't make sense and some sources were outright deleted so it was mixed information and she was here to cure the ignorance plaguing her. A severe lack of confirmation in terms of accuracy. Some sources say this city has been around and nothing catastrophic happened to it. Other sources say there was one hell of a mess and the only way to clean it all up was a MASSIVE explosion. Yeah, talk about how the internet term "WTF" fit nicely here. Answers, solutions, Project World Reflection was all about that and decided to come to the source. But alas, the contradiction in information still had the information seeker a little baffled.
Right now, she was in no condition to hijack or hack into much of anything so it was up to manual labor. For now though, she was stuck in a chair with a plug hooked up into the wall as she charged up her battery. Evidence from the cord slinking out of her backpack. Only a few more moments and she could run around and about. Oh well, while she waited, she would review some information she gathered. Actually...scratch that....she sat up and looked a little more alert as her glowing blue optics glanced around at the sound of claws scratching at the ceiling. Tilting her head upward....where the source should be wasn't.
Narrowing her eyes, upon further investigation by mere observation....there was a vent and something hiding behind it. Not a good predicament to be in seeing how she couldn't really defend herself too well. See...this android had A LOT of self defense features locked and blocked off...the only thing she could do was beat the crap out of it in odd ways and throw in a huge shock of electricity. Well...on top of searching for information, she was also trying to seek out her designated superior once more. He and his creations were linked to this city...so perhaps there were multiple things to hit with a single stone on this journey. However, the sound of the hidden creatures claws screeching against metal registered as what was commonly known as a Licker. Or at least some variant of it....
For now, she was playing a game of chess and waiting for it to make the next move....reacting right now wasn't wise on her part since if it was going to be stupid and think she had flesh to devour....it'd most likely use its tongue to lash at her. All about timing because if it used the common form of attack where it either tried to pierce or choke something with its tongue...then she could calculate the proper defensive measure. Staying put and waiting for it to attack was what Mia calculated as a better measure to tip the scales in her favor if that was the potential outcome. Plus, it was the favorable route due to how the cord restricted her movement at this time.
