Upon a hill top with her hands at her sides...this was just peculiar now wasn't it? A glistening, glittering stone labyrinth that she couldn't help but be in a bit of awe over since she hadn't even imagined something so beautiful. The sight in its entirety was...actually so much better than where she was before...so entrancing that she didn't want to turn around and return. Even a castle in the center which looked as though it were touching the heavens itself...this...this is what he was talking about? Such a sight looked more like an elegant painting rather than reality but...it was reality, wasn't it? With the dew from the grass delicately touching against her feet, those little droplets gently bled through her suit since she wasn't exactly wearing normal shoes and probably wouldn't since it was obvious that she was no longer in New York. Somewhere far away...bringing her hand up to her cheek before sliding her fingers into tendrils which had been stained with more blood than anyone could imagine, including her own even though it didn't really look like it considering her hair color was of a darker pigment and all that glorious stuff.
Carefully, she tucked some of her locks behind her ear taking a moment to appreciate the light breeze and warmth of the morning sun. Leaving the drizzles and cloudy skies behind...it was as though maybe...just maybe she could finally find her place. Closing her eyes for a moment...a fragment of her could only wonder how long this would last. Was this really as good as it seemed or was this all a facade which would turn into the same place she left before? Where nothing was different, where everything was still the same and everyone was nothing short of ignorant and unwilling to have a stronger appreciation of life? Currently...those spikes of pain from her side were keeping her mind in check from slipping into a state of true insanity and madness, so at least she was aware of this happening. Letting out a soft laugh as she reopened her eyes, it seemed as though nothing changed, such a strange occurrence really was going on.
How difficult it was for her to truly accept or believe one hundred percent, yet with the mixture of the morning dew, rays of sunlight, and the spork injury...it certainly wasn't a hallucination or mirage. "King Jareth, this place is filled with such beauty...am I truly fortunate enough to be welcome here in your kingdom for more than just a quick glance?" Calmly letting those words slip passed her lips, it was almost as though there was a bit of curiosity laced with a bit of happiness gracing her tone. Strange how such a huge event could let her emotions actually crack through in a genuine fashion. Starting a day planning to awaken people, but low and behold it wound up taking a VERY unexpected turn! Nothing normal ever happens in New York, not at all!
