OOC/MISC CHARACTER NOTES
Cbox Name: Bobj1
Nicknames: Meh :B
Main Account: Sherlock Holmes
Who else do you play?: See Sherlock's account :B
How did you find us?: A magical wizard told me of Camelot. There I met a knight. That knight's name was Captain Irving. Captain Irving told me of the mystical land of AM. So, I came here.
Category: Canon ~ The Woman in Black
Ranking: Villain
Reason for being on AM: To be ~scary~
Basic Details
Age: Unknown
Physical Appearance: Atop the Woman in Black's head sits a wide-brimmed black hat. Beneath her hat lies mid-cut black hair. The combined hat and hair create a shadow that covers her face, obscuring it and giving her face a more ghostly appearance.
Being a ghost has taken it's toll on her appearance - giving her grey, slightly rotted looking skin. Her eyes have become pitch black and are constantly covered by shadow, making them seem much bigger than they are. Her nose and mouth are undefined and only become really apparent when the Woman gets close.
Like most women at her time, the Woman has a slim, somewhat wispy figure. Being dead quite a while has taken it's toll on her appearance, giving her bony hands and arms. As one would expect, she wears a black and grey dress that covers the rest of her body.
Personality: Becoming a ghost has taken away any of Jennet Humfrye's humanity. As a human she was spiteful, yes, but she was not genuinely evil. She eventually fell into deep depression and killed herself. The strength of her need for revenge kept her alive - or rather, turned her into a ghost. As a ghost, she is incredibly driven, with a need to take her revenge on... well, everyone. She's gone kinda crazy that way.
Her need for revenge has given her a complete lack of any regret from horrible actions, whether it be causing young children to commit suicide to actually killing people herself, she does not mind doing these things. There is not a single person she likes. She's become a social outcast of the highest degree - the kind that simply despises everyone and anyone because of something that happened in her past.
Her presence has a very creepy aspect to it. The sight of her has been known to scare people; though they obviously weren't the bravest. She commonly manipulates human fear to get her revenge.

Powers & Abilities
BOO~!: As a ghost, the Woman is entitled to powers beyond those a human has. These include:
- Invisibility - The ability to make herself completely invisible. She can make it so that at a certain angle one can't see her but at another they can.
- Teleportation - Depending on how she teleports she appears with no warning or appears in black smoke.
- Light Manipulation - If it is necessary for her to do so, the Woman in Black can, without even a wave of her hand, turn off all the lights in a room. This also includes any magic-related light and even light-related attacks.
- You can fly~!: - ....Or rather, levitate slightly. At any rate she's incredibly fast when levitating.
- Intangibility: She can go straight through objects, people and all sorts of energy. Stuff made specifically to get ghosts {Proton Pack, anyone?} will hurt, though.
SUICIDE!: Using a strange kind of telekinesis, the Woman in Black can force any children nearby her to commit suicide. It is usually untraceable that it was her, but everyone in Eel Marsh seems to know.
Isn't that... a toy!?: The presence of the Woman in Black can make inanimate objects, such as toys, start floating around or starting up on their own. They seem to start up at the perfect time for a jump scare.

Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...
AT LAST WE SHALL HAVE REVENGE: The Woman in Black's entire existence is based on revenge. Revenge against... well, everything. Doesn't matter to her if she kills other children to get revenge for her own child dying, she does it all the time.
You Could Have Saved Him: She's still pretty pissed at the whole her child dying thing. She definitely believes he could have been saved and is very angry about that :I
Never Forgive...: Even if someone reunites her with her dead son, she'll continue on. It's already happened before. Nothing can stop her determination for revenge against those
Physical Flaws...
Who ya gonna call?: Any attack that works against ghosts will work against her - certain types of magic, banishing spells.... Proton Packs. >>
Rock Salt: Firing or throwing Rock Salt at her will make her stop for a while. She cannot enter somewhere that is completely surrounded by Rock Salt.
Other Flaws...

History....
Jennet Humfrye lived the normal life of a woman in her time period. She had a husband and a child and, for the most part, they were happy. Until one day Jennet went mad and was no longer able to properly care for her child. Her child, Nathaniel, was given to Alice Drablow {Jennet's sister who lived with them}. As expected, Jennet became increasingly angry and began sending her sister hateful notes about how she would have revenge for taking her child.
Things got worse when, during a carriage ride, Nathaniel died and sank into the marsh's mud. The body couldn't be retrieved, making Jennet even more angry that her son didn't get a proper burial. After sending one final note, Jennet committed suicide by hanging herself.
Her need for revenge was so strong that she returned as a ghost and began to haunt the entire Eel Marsh town, using her powers to cause children to commit suicide. Many years later, a man named Arthur Kipps visited the town and decided to go up to the Eel Marsh Estate. There he encountered the Woman in Black. As Arthur continued to find out more, more children died. Eventually, Arthur decided to try to put her to rest.
He dug up Nathaniel's body and laid it in his room. The Woman in Black came in and seemed to disappear for good. However, just as Arthur was about to leave the town by train, the Woman in Black appeared and forced Arthur's son to commit suicide. Arthur died with his son while trying to save him. Since then the Woman in Black has gone back to her old tricks and is still haunting Eel Marsh.
