he commented as he sighed and began to walk for his new place of residence and learning. Like Jimmy, Terry was also a transfer, only his parents where not even here, as he was not the normal boy, but he knew his way on the streets, but his family was in the future. His record was nice and clean, with mentioning of his dad dying while being robbed, which was somewhat true, but as far as the school knew, it was the truth. Terry had used a lot of skill to forge the info on him, so he could fit in but he was not sure if it would stand up if the school really did any checking. Stopping after walking about a half a mile, Terry had to let his hand rest from carrying his suitcase. As he had been walking, he was listening to the people talk, and stopping to ask for directions as he traveled. What he heard, was that there was some deamon here that had killed some people recently and the description was of a boy. Terry knew from experience, that without people actually seeing the deamon, that rumors could be more dangerous that actual bullets. However, that was neither here nor there, as he walked on, and over the next hour and a half, arrived at the school and looked as he rubbed his hand. "I hope this is the right place," he states to himself as he goes to check in on his arrival at a new school in a different time.[/ul]

As much time as she liked to spend off-campus with her horse, Bree, Regina knew that she needed to devote a great deal of her time to her schoolwork as well. If her grades began to slip, her mother would want to know the reason why. And dealing with her mother's anger was just...something Regina preferred to do as infrequently as possible. So today she spent her free time not out riding, but settled under a tree on campus with a book open in her lap...studying. Not the most enthralling of activities, but a necessary one. Over the past hour she'd thumbed through the chapter and scribbled down notes with practiced patience, but now she was beginning to grow just a tad restless. Her concentration kept breaking; she kept glancing away from her work to observe something on campus - some of her fellow classmates, or even a squirrel or passing butterfly.
Or an unfamiliar face - Regina was pretty good with faces, and she was fairly certain she'd never seen this one before.
Observing the boy as he wandered with what looked like some amount of confusion up to the school, something clicked. Of course, he was the new transfer student! Regina wasn't really one for gossip, but she hadn't been able to help overhearing a few things. Falcon Academy's students had an unhealthy habit of gabbing non-stop about any new arrivals. The rumor was that this boy's father was dead - kind of an insensitive thing to whisper about, in Regina's opinion, but she'd kept her nose out of it until now. Now, seeing him in the same position she'd been in only a few weeks ago - new and a little bewildered, and knowing absolutely no one at the school - she couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy. So, brushing her hair back out of her face, she closed her book and stood up.
If he could use a hand, she'd be more than happy to give him one...and if not? Well, at least she'd bothered to make sure he was alright. "Hey, you're the new transfer student, right?" Regina asked as she made her way over to him, offering a friendly smile before proceeding to introduce herself. "I'm Regina. Need any help?" He didn't look like the type who was fazed by much...who knew, maybe he'd grow accustomed to the assorted insanity that was Falcon Academy fairly quickly. Even so, it was nice to see a friendly face when you were alone in a new environment - Regina knew that from experience.

he thinks as he stands there. "Hey, you're the new transfer student, right?" Regina asked as she made her way over to him, offering a friendly smile before proceeding to introduce herself. "I'm Regina. Need any help?" she asked as Terry turned and blinked. "Hi," he says with a smile. "Yea, I think I am in the right place, but is this Falcon Academy?" he asks her as he thinks for a moment, looking around. "I'm Terry, nice to meet you," he adds as he offers a hand. Thinking as he looks around, he ponders, "I thought there would be more buildings here for a school, rather than just one," he asks Regina.[/ul]

Regina couldn't help but grin slightly at that - she'd pretty much had the same reaction when she'd first arrived here. In fact, she was pretty sure that most students did, unless they came from places where it was common for the majority of their school buildings to be....underground. She'd never really thought to question the architecture, though. Because surprisingly, it was actually one of the most normal things about this place - but Regina didn't think telling Terry that would do much for his first impression. So, briefly shaking the the hand he'd offered, she gave another quick smile.
"Oh, don't worry - you're in the right place." she reassured him quickly, glancing around the campus for emphasis. There were several other students out and about - they, like her, probably preferred fresh air as opposed to being stuck down in the school all day. "This may sound a little strange, but the school is...underground." She paused for a moment, keeping her expression bright, allowing that bit of information to sink in. Maybe Terry wouldn't think it was so strange after all - maybe he'd just sort of go with it, the way she had. But she didn't want him to think she was playing some sort of joke on him, so she attempted to keep her tone as earnest as possible as she continued on.
"Falcon Academy isn't the most...conventional of schools. Well, not that I've been to many schools - but I know enough to know that most of them aren't built underground. But it's actually sort of neat." Regina gave a slight shrug, because it was - interesting, at the very least. She'd never been one to really appreciate being cooped up inside, but the school had enough secrets to at least keep her occupied when she had to be in there. And Terry was probably going to want to take a look around. "Want to head inside?"
