Basic Details
Age: 24
Species: Human (Awesome Human, to be precise)
Personality:
You'll never meet another person quite like Scott Pilgrim. His idiotic behavior and seemingly unnatural forgetfulness tends to strike many as bizarre and awkward. It's normal for him to have horrible luck in romantic relationships and when something wrong happens in said relationships he would blame the problem(s) on his partner and suppress them in his mind, constantly blocking them out. This causes him to have a great ability to overcome break-ups quite quickly, but his past mistakes materialize themselves as Scott's evil half - NegaScott!
However, through the trials and tribulations of fighting for the 'girl of his dreams' Ramona Flowers, he has gained the POWER OF UNDERSTANDING and thus has healed this flaw somewhat. For the sake of the Role Play, however, his old self will occasional slip out and sometimes plunge him into a deep sudden depression.
Scott's self respect and self esteem are like bad roller-coaster rides. Although it's presumed that this has leveled out since defeating Gideon Graves, it isn't too far fetched to assume that another large event would cause him to revert back into what he used to be. One moment he would be exclaiming how TOTALLY RAD HE IS and then the next moment end up depressed and whining (usually to his gay roommate Wallace) about how much everything sucks.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH.
Scott gripped Ramona's hand tighter than he's ever had to grip anything in his life, as the two sped down the subspace highway. They were both incredibly excited and anxious for this new start that they were getting, jumping into the constant conflict that was life head-on and not knowing what to expect. Many would call them young and stupid, but they didn't care. They had each other now - for reals this time - and nothing was going to change that. Well, at least, nothing except the end of the journey. Scott had forgotten how fast subspace highways were - so efficient and American. You could literally smell the American around you while you were in it. Or, well, maybe it was just all of that tex mex that Scott started eating. Blegh.
Anyway, yeah, the other door. They slowed to a halt, phasing through it with Ramona's special pass card key or whatever. Scott didn't care much right now. They were home - and god damn did he need a shower and a good night's sleep! ...Ramona might have had other plans though. Oh well. Gotta live life like you never lived life! Or something. Scott didn't remember the entire saying, but he didn't really care either. All he knew was that he was climbing under the comfortable covers and she was getting in too, and she was getting in closer, and closer...and then...!!!
Dammit Wallace! Ramona's phone began to ring from the bedpost and instinctively, Scott reached over and answered it. Ramona's expression stayed the same the entire time - a mix between unamused and pissed off. If you ignore it it'll go away, right? Wait, no! He just went through almost forty chapters learning not to do that! Oh, whatever, what did this idiot want now?
"Hey, dumbass, you know it's 10:30 AM right?"
"What's it to ya?"
"Jeez, so snarky! I just wanted to be a friend and remind my main bitch that he's going to be late for work is all!"
OH CRAP, he forgot about work! Hanging up instantly, Scott sprang from the bed, panicking and acting frantic and looking about and...yeah. He's a total idiot. Ramona stared at him the entire time - I think she blinked slowly like, once? Maybe? I dunno. He glanced at her and said some garbled muck that contained the words "late" "work" "gotta go". She just nodded and drifted off to sleep, something Scott would have loved to do after a night like that, but there are dishes that need cleaning. Peas that need stirring. And he's gonna be the BEST, you hear? The BEST dishwasher! The BEST Chef's assistant! ...That IS his job, right?
Theme Songs...? SCOTT PILGRIM ANTHEM!

Powers & Abilities
Wow, there is so much crud I could put here that Scott does fantastically! Like, you know, EVERYTHING! But to break things down for you people who aren't quite as amazing and awesome as the amazingly awesome Scott Pilgrim, Scott's powers aren't very specific or refined. Really, his willpower is his greatest aspect. If he really wants to do something, he'll do it - even if he needs to be...nudged, in most cases.
His battle-based powers work very similarly to a generic videogame. He's known to do 'Aerial Volleys' and have 'Combo-Hit Counters' and whatnot, which is all very whimsical and mostly situational. It can be assumed that somewhere, there is a menu screen depicting his STATS which are all maxed out in his amazingness, of course! He's displayed the usage of what could possibly be kung-fu, and special moves such as the COUNTER! and the 2x COMBO! although they are less common than others. Occasionally, he will pull enemies into completely different kinds of battles. For example, in his battle against the Vegan Psychic EVIL EX, he engaged in a 'BASS BATTLE' in which the two fought with their incredible guitar solos! (Scott lost, by the way) Because of him taking Longsword Proficiency in the Fifth Grade, he's just as skilled with swords as he is with hand-to-hand combat.
Otherwise, Scott has a very high tolerance level for pain and damage. Despite being knocked around quite a bit and even getting slashed up with numerous cuts, he was still able to fight as if he was never hurt to begin with. Although, when he does fight, he ends up relying on Deux Ex Machina's to win battles for him. (Hell, there's even a scene when he asks for one and then POOF, Vegan Police!) This, of course, would be rather impossible to do in the RP.
Lastly, rewards. After beating an enemy, that enemy would usually explode into a multitude of coins (The amount increases with the toughness of the foe), all of the coins having value as Canadian money. He also gains EXP and STAT BOOSTS! for winning battles, and on very rare occasions, 1-UPs in the shape of his head.

Main/Important Equipment
~POWER OF LOVE~
The POWER OF LOVE is a hand-guard-less Katana that has a hilt bound in wrapping and a heart design on the end. The sword is perpetually on fire with the flames of LOVE, and according to video-game-canon, would somehow have long range 'beam slashes'. However, in order to use this weapon, Scott must be fighting for a loved one. Even so, it's shown to be...weaker than the POWER OF UNDERSTANDING...huh.
~POWER OF UNDERSTANDING~
The POWER OF UNDERSTANDING is a large, buster-blade sword that was unlocked when Scott realized that he and Gideon were not very different when it came to screwing up relationships. This power has helped him shape his personality and he can most likely use it whenever he wishes - by pulling it out of his stomach, of course.
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...
Scott has ruined almost every relationship he has ever been in since highschool. He was completely oblivious to Lisa's longing for him, Kim's strong feelings for him even after he left her (covering the feelings up with snark, to boot), having been dumped by the pop-singer ENVY, and nearly destroying his relationship with Ramona after it was revealed he cheated on Knives with her. This poor history of romance has left a large weak spot in his head - and although trained - it wouldn't take much to make him fall again.
Physical Flaws...
Scott - although entirely badass in every possible way - is sadly a human. So he has human limits, such as being susceptible to bio chemical stuff and drowning and being dehydrated and all of that stuff. And other stuff. There is a lot of stuff that humans are affected by, isn't there?
Other Flaws...
Scott is also the most gullible person you'll ever meet. He's quite easily fooled, and mesmerized with everything new and exciting he sees. Scott is also known for being more than kind of an idiot. He's easily lured into fights, in most cases loses them, and tries to hide from threats/his failures. This might double as a psychological flaw, though.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
History....
Scott's family moved to northern Ontario when he was Sixteen Years Old, where he was enrolled in the ST. Joel's Catholic Highschool. Upon his first day at the new school - he got in a fight with three older students who kicked his ass. At the principal's office, he encountered another new student named Lisa, and the two quickly became friends. Although it was obvious that they could have been a couple, Scott pushed aside all accusations that they were together, regardless of what Lisa felt.
Scott was paired with Kim Pines for a project in science class, and the two worked on it mutually. Lisa and Scott decided they wanted to put a band together, but they needed a drummer. Kim just so happened to be a drummer, and Lisa suggested he ask if Kim wanted to be part of their band. One day, when Scott arrived at school, Lisa informed him that students from a rival school came and beat everyone up - kidnapping Kim in the process! Scott fought through every one of the goons, leading up to the grand final battle with Simon Lee! After defeating him, he unshackled Kim and asked her out as well as if she wanted to join his band. She agreed to both, and so it was! However, this was a memory planted by Gideon Graves, and he actually beat up Simon Lee out of a fit of jealousy for dating Kim.
Their band is named Sonic and Knuckles, and they play during their school's Lunchapalooza. However, this is cut short when Scott's family moves to Toronto and leaves Kim behind. Yet, he didn't tell her - he told Lisa who told Kim, and eventually lead to Kim having a strong hate for Scott.
He attended the University of Toronto (At some point during this time, Wallace - a student in Scott's class - began randomly hanging out at his house which lead to him eventually being his roommate) and befriended Stephen Stills. Stephen dated a girl named Julie, which lead to Scott meeting her roommate, Natalie Adams. Although Julie disproved of it, Scott and Natalie formed a relationship. She, Scott, and Stephen formed a new band called Kid Chameleon, and Natalie began to change. She sold her anime and other nerd memorabilia and bought boots and other stuff, and wanted to be called 'Envy' instead of Natalie. She began to become distant to Scott in their relationship and she eventually took charge of the band, switching around the band members between instruments. Eventually, on New Years Eve, Scott and Envy had a large argument which lead to their inevitable break up. Scott and Stephen left the band, and Envy left to form her own, new band. Scott took this break up harshly, and at the slightest mention of her name, he would panic.
After two years Scott finished his college teaching - although he was too depressed to remember if he passed or failed - and he and Stephen formed the band Sex Bob-Omb with Kim who recently moved to Toronto. He rented a run-down apartment with Wallace, and quite a bit of time passed. Eventually Scott met Knives Chau on the bus, helping her pick up her books after she dropped them. Despite her being only seventeen years old, Scott proclaimed he was dating her (even though the two barely held hands - he thinks she hugged him once though!) Albeit not very moral, Scott enjoyed the relationship because of it's simplicity. All he had to do was ride the bus with her and talk about yearbook club or something. But even so, he couldn't help be feel an increasing sense of loneliness...
...Which is when Ramona Flowers quite literally rolled into his dreams, VIA the subspace highway (They don't have that in Canada so Scott was quite surprised). This sighting kept him preoccupied for the next few days as he hung out with Knives, and eventually, his seeing her at one of Julie's parties confirmed her existence. After a failed attempt to chat with her, Scott stalked her around the party until she left, overjoyed. Asking around about her, he discovered that she was the new delivery girl for Amazon.ca - and the next day he ordered some CDs so that she would deliver them to his door. Sadly, it was a saturday, and he would have to wait at least two days for the package to arrive. During this time, he gets a strange email from a man named Mathew Patel, detailing how he must have a BATTLE SHOWDOWN WITH SCOTT TO THE DEATH FOR-Scott dismisses the email and deletes it, finding it to be very boring.
Oddly, the next day, Ramona arrives at Scott's door with the package he ordered. He attempts to ask her out, which he is successful in doing simply so she can leave and he can sign his damn package. Oh, and also to compensate for using his mind as the subspace road. While on their date, she mentions someone named Gideon, but when Scott questions him she quickly changes the subject. A sudden snowstorm strikes, and the two use the subspace road to head back to Ramona's place. They talk about tea and being cold, and it ends with them being in the bed together. However, Ramona changes her mind about having sex with Scott, but allows him to spend the night in her bed. The next morning, he invites her to his band's gig at Club Rockit, completely forgetting he also invited Knives.
Both girls arrive at the gig, and after Knives gives Scott an affectionate kiss, he realizes that Ramona was right there. Finally noticing his complete screw up, he wussies backstage to avoid a possible conflict. After the first band - Crash and the Boys - finishes their act, Sex Bob-Omb moves on stage. However, they are interrupted in the middle of their act by a mysterious man who zeroes in on Scott for a fight! Scott uses his COUNTER! ability to send the man flying, and initiating the battle. He reveals himself to be RAMONA'S FIRST EVIL EX-BOYFRIEND MATHEW PATEL, and Scott is dumbfounded. He reminds him about the Email (and the letter afterward) that he sent that explained everything. Scott, now regretting he didn't read the email, fights with Mathew. Ramona reveals her past with Mathew, who then summons his DEMON HIPSTER CHICKS to aid him in combat. Shortly afterward, Scott kicks his ass and gets a pathetic reward of $2.10, not even enough for the bus ride home! Agreeing to lend him the rest of the money, Ramona quickly leaves with him.
On the bus ride home, Ramona reveals that in order for Scott to date her, he must defeat her Seven (now six) Evil Exes, to which Scott agrees. After asking if Gideon is one of them, she gets upset and her head begins to glow. Later on, he discovered that Ramona's SECOND EVIL EX-BOYFRIEND is a famous actor and skater named LUCAS LEE, who Wallace is not-so-secretly crushing on. Wallace also finds out about Ramona, and gives Scott one of his FAMOUS ULTIMATUMS - he must break up with his fake high school girlfriend! Meeting up with Knives, he does in fact break up with her...moments after she confesses her love for him, creating a very awkward rift between them and breaking Knives' heart. Scott feels sad at first, but begins to feel better when thinking about Ramona.
As Scott and Ramona's relationship continued, Ramona revealed a little more about her past life including her relationship with Lucas. Later on in the week, Scott traveled to Casa Loma with Wallace to confront Lucas Lee, who was filming his latest movie there. Upon meeting Lucas, Scott became start-struck and asked Lucas for his autograph as opposed to fighting him, leaving Scott vulnerable and allowing Lucas to punch Scott to the ground and then throw him into the side of the castle, causing Scott to pass out. When Scott woke up, Lucas offered him a break and the two talked about his relationship with Ramona, to which Lucas begins to cry, Lucas then offered Scott the opportunity to throw the fight as long as Scott gave Lucas all his money, Scott instead called Lucas a sell-out, angering him. Scott quickly got out of the situation by goading Lucas into performing a grind trick on a nearby grind rail, Lucas accepted, but near the end of the trick, Lucas accumulated too much speed, and burst into flames, making Scott victor by default. After "defeating" Lucas Scott received roughly fourteen dollars and a Mithril Skateboard, which Scott was unable to use as he lacks a skateboard proficiency he could have learned in fifth grade.
Some time after, Scott received a call from his ex-girlfriend, Envy, inviting Sex Bob-omb to open a gig for her band, The Clash at Demonhead, at Lee's Palace. The call stirred old feelings inside Scott, the aftermath of which leaves Scott in a temporal, comatose-like state. Later on, Scott unwillingly went to Lee's Palace with Ramona and the rest of his friends to see The Clash at Demonhead perform. When the band started their gig, Ramona revealed that Todd, the band's bassist and current boyfriend of Envy, is in fact her third Evil Ex boyfriend, Todd Ingram.
After the performance, Scott and his friends were invited backstage by Envy Adams, during an awkward gathering, Scott, angered by Todd's arrogance and cockiness, attacked Todd, Todd avoided this attack and his hair began to stand on end and his eyes began the glow. Todd then managed to telekinetically throw Scott through a wall of Lee's Palace. After this, Envy revealed that Todd is a Vegan, which grants him psychic powers. After a small bout, Envy arranges to conclude the battle the next day at Honest Ed's.
The next day, Scott, Todd, Envy, and others met up at Honest Ed's, Envy then revealed the rules of the battle, which is to race through Honest Eds, emerge on the other end, and defeat each other, the race started, and the two went inside Honest Ed's. Whilst there, Scott and Todd suffered from sensory overload due to the masses of items available, the full effects of which were partial blindness, hallucinations, and mental instability. Eventually, Todd lost control of his mental powers, and caused Honest Ed's to implode, stopping the battle at the tie.
Afterward band practice, Scott and Ramona go out on another date. after the date, Ramona convinces Scott not to fight Todd that night and instead spend a cozy night at Ramona's apartment, to which Scott agrees. After an unsuccessful make-out session, Ramona begins to fill Scott in about her relationship with Todd. Scott then tries to talk about his past relationship with Envy and then to warn Ramona that in the event she and Envy fights, she should focus on the singer's weakpoint. She immediately interrupts him and asks him to talk about his past relationship with Kim. Scott's memory is foggy at best, and soon snaps into an overly exaggerated (and yet, somewhat accurate) story of how he rescued Kim, right before going to sleep.
Scott and his friends arrive at Lee's Palace for the Sex Bob-omb's opening performance The Clash at Demonhead. Whilst waiting, the group watches Crash and the Boys, who had a hostile takeover, now known as "The Boys! And Crash!!". Scott then meets Envy at the back of Lee's palace and the two exchange words about their relationship, Envy then goes to get changed for the performance. Scott then notices an upset Knives sat outside and, out of pity, Scott goes to talk to her. Scott attempts to reconcile with Knives and tells her that Young Neil is "half decent", however Knives reveals that she only went out with Neil because he looked like Scott. Despite Scott's attempt to tell Knives that she should move on and forget about him, Knives once again expresses her love for Scott as he leaves to go back into the club.
Ramona then encounters Envy at the bar, Ramona and Envy then get into an argument and begin to fight, Ramona armed with a giant mallet. Midway through, Sex Bob-omb appears on stage in costume (Stephen Stills as Johnny Cash, Kim Pine in a Gothic lolita dress, and Scott in a second-hand suit). Scott sees Envy about to kill Ramona, and jumps from the stage to hit her "weak point", the back of her knees. Todd and Scott then proceed to have a Bass Battle, and Scott is aided by the powers of The Boys and Crash (the opening band for the evening). Todd almost wins the battle until the vegan police show up and strip him of his powers for multiple vegan offenses, such as eating gelato. Scott headbutts the powerless Todd, who is reduced to a pile of coins.Afterward, Scott receives an extra life. Finally, Sex Bob-omb gets to play, while the audience comments on their performance (some consider them amateurish compared to the now-defunct Clash at Demonhead). As they play, the audience gives mostly positive critiques, except for an indifferent man with a shadowy profile wearing glasses who merely says "No comment" and walks away. Scott notices the man briefly as he leaves the concert space.
After an awkward talk later on, Envy bids Scott farewell before she heads to the Airport to return home. A disappointed Scott had hoped to get some sort of closure from his ex, but soon gets over it. It stops raining and the sun comes out, which makes Wallace remark that they still have the future to look forward to.
Two months after defeating Todd, Scott and the gang celebrate Julie's birthday at the beach. Ramona tells Scott that he is the nicest boy she's ever dated. Later, at Julie's aunt's house, Scott accidentally walks in on Kim Pine and Knives Chau, who are drunk and making out. (let us never speak of this again)
A heat wave hits Toronto, and to escape it, Scott goes to the Dufferin Mall, where his old high school friend Lisa spots him. They proceed to catch up. Scott takes Lisa to Sneaky Dee's, a tex-mex bar, to re-acquaint her with Kim and introduce her to the rest of his friends, including Ramona. That night, Scott has a dream that he is wandering in a forest with an elf. Ramona shows up and starts to nag him, which prompts him to wake up and try to find a job.
Scott first tries his luck at Second Cup, but is stymied when Stacey asks him if he really wants to work there. His attempts to get a job at No Account Video quickly fail after Kim points out that he doesn't have a resume, is not prepared for an interview, and owes the video store money in late fees. Kim brings Scott to The Happy Avocado, the vegetarian restaurant where Stephen Stills works. Scott is hired and vows to be the best dishwasher ever, for which he gains 500 experience points. Afterward, Kim realizes that a man with a samurai sword has been following Scott. The man slices a streetcar in half and chases Scott, but Scott and Kim escape through a door that leads to a subspace portal.
The next day, Scott and Wallace venture to the financial district to meet with their landlord, Peter. Peter tells them that they must re-sign the lease or leave by August 27. Scott then goes for his first day of work at the Happy Avacado. Afterwards, Scott is attacked by a ninja. When he counter-attacks, he discovers that the ninja is a girl (he punched her in the boob!). Too winded to make a proper introduction, she tells Scott that they will meet again and disappears.
Confused, Scott travels back to his apartment and calls Ramona to ask her about the recent encounter, and leaves her a message as she is out. The band continues to record their album and once again go to Sneaky Dee's and Lisa pulls Scott out to the street, where she drunkenly makes a pass at him. That night, Scott and Wallace lie in bed awake, and Wallace tells Scott that they must decide whether or not to move out.
The following afternoon, Scott is working at the Happy Avacado with Stephen Stills when he suddenly stops the girl who attacked him, ducking down in terror, he asks Stephen Still to see who she's with, and Stephen Stills nonchalantly replies that she's his girlfriend, Ramona. He then confronts the two, and eventually Scott realizes that the ninja is in fact one of Ramona's exes and a member of the League of Ramona's Evil Exes. Roxie then prepares to fight Scott, but Scott cowers behind Ramona, not wanting to fight Roxie using the excuse that she's got a sword. Ramona then allows Scott to hide in her Subspace Suitcase and asks him to pass her a weapon a prepares to fight Roxie herself.
Ramona and Scott then travel to through a nearby Subspace door and Ramona prepares to battle Roxie. Ramona appears to have the upperhand during the battle, but she is eventually out manuvered by Roxie's superior speed and is knocked back into submission. Roxie then leaves the Subspace, leaving Scott confused and Ramona downtrodden.
Afterward, Ramona tells Scott about Roxie and how she's become an accomplished artist, Scott then subtly asks if he can move in with Ramona and she reluctantly agrees. They then go with the rest of the group once again to Sneaky Dee's, but Ramona becomes suspicious of the relationship between Scott and Lisa. On the way back from Sneaky Dee's, Ramona confronts Scott and after a heated argument, leaves him for the evening. Scott stumbles upon Wallace in bed with his (unseen) boyfriend Mobile Wallace then notifies that Scott has been fired from his job at the Happy Avacado due to the commotion earlier that day. With no-where to go and unwilling to face Ramona, Scott resorts to calling Lisa and asking to stay the night with her at her sister's. While there, he and Lisa question why they never got together. Scott admits to having a fight with Ramona, and Lisa suggests that they hook up.
Scott has another dream in the woods, where he encounters a half-angelic/half-demonic Ramona who asks him if he really wants her, since he can't seem to remember the password. Roxie Richter appears and tells Scott his dreams suck, and starts to chase him, slicing off one of his arms with her katana. He wakes up on Lisa's sister's, Lisa then reveals to him that nothing happened between then and that Scott confessed his love for Ramona to Lisa. Relieved, Scott quickly leaves and goes back to the Happy Avacado to get his job back, Scott succeeds, primarily due to the fact that they had no-one to replace him yet.
After working his shift, Scott heads to Second Cup to get a free iced latte from Stacey. Upon entering, he realizes that he is in a different Second Cup, and finds Knives working at the counter. He turns to leave, but spots the man who first attacked him. Knives exclaims that it's her dad and realizes that because she was dating a white boy his brain broke in half, only to "be replaced by a purely mechanical engine of revenge." Knives' dad then spots Scott and gives chase. Scott escapes into Subspace, where he finds Ramona, dressed scandalously and sitting at the foot of a shadowy figure. Enraged, Ramona chases him out of subspace, and they end up on her front lawn. After he hurriedly explains that he was only fleeing another attempt on his life, she calms down and tells him to forget what he saw. He tells her that he spent the night at Lisa's because he couldn't go home and didn't dare call her. Before she can react, Roxie appears and complains that she's trying to sleep. Thinking that Ramona may have cheated on him, Scott's head begins to glow. Too deflated to explain the situation, Ramona tells Scott to "walk it off", and he stumbles off.
After collapsing in the middle of a busy road he becomes aware of a person standing over him. On looking up we see that the person is a doppelganger of Scott but with a sinister sneer on his face. Scott recognizes the double and is spurred by the sight of him. He charges through the double, disapperating it.
He is confronted by Mr. Chau, who followed him through subspace and is now chasing Ramona. Scott lures Mr. Chau into Ramona's home and Roxie, believing that Mr. Chau is an agent of Gideon sent to do her job for her, charges him with her katana, and, as the momentum sends her and Mr. Chau over the edge of the second-floor balcony, taunts Scott for being too scared to fight her. When Ramona comments that Roxie has a point, Scott finally gets up the nerve to tell Ramona that he loves her and gains 9,999 experience points. As a result, he levels up and gains the Power Of Love, a sword which he uses to slice Roxie in half. Defeated, Roxie taunts Scott about the upcoming exes her body then explodes into bunnies, birdies, and piglets. Scott then realizes that he still has to deal with Mr. Chau, Scott assures him that he hardly even touched his daughter and always respected her; apparently satisfied, the old man bows and disappears.
Scott then kisses Ramona and declares that he loves her, and Ramona tells him she loves him too. They decided to move in together. Scott learns that Wallace has decided to move in with his boyfriend, while Lisa announces that she's finally gotten her papers to move to the US.
Scott turns 24, and vows to be the most amazing 24 year old ever. Julie hosts a death-themed party which Ramona and Scott attend.
Whilst at the party, Ramona Flowers spots her next two evil ex-boyfriends, the twins Kyle & Ken Katayana, who were invited to the party by Julie. Scott approaches them and prepares to fight, but instead is forced to fight their robot, Robot-01. Whilst Scott is fighting the robot, Knives Chau talks to Stephen Stills, who reveals that he and Julie have broken up again, he then tells Knives that Scott cheated on Knives with Ramona, which shocks Knives. Scott then defeats Robot-01 and "wins the party".
November continues to show Scott and Ramona's relationship fall into a monotonous routine; with Ramona clearly being distressed about something and becoming increasingly distant to Scott.
The Sex Bob-Ombs are lured into a trap as a gig, where Scott is forced to fight one of the Twins' other robots with his bass guitar which he breaks in the process. On the way home, Scott admits that he forgot his keys and Ramona refuses to let him in for the night, claiming that Scott needs to learn a lesson about remembering his key and that she needs some time alone.
Scott ends up staying with Wallace, who asks about the twins. Scott tells him that their last name is "Katamari," in reference to the video game Katamari Damacy. Wallace reveals to Scott that he has found pictures of Gideon Graves, all of which are blurry or indistinct.
The next day, Scott goes to No-Account Video to find Kim quickly leaving and quickly tells Scott that he "[doesn't] need to see Hollie" implying that the two had a fight. Scott then goes with Kim to Stephen Stills' place to try and find Kim, whilst there, they come across Young Neil who is smoking in his room and act rather coldly to Scott and Kim.
That night, Scott stays on Kim's couch and asks Kim to help arrange a setup so that he can casually bump into Kim and Ramona while they get coffee, the setup is so pathetic that it actually works and Ramona is left hysterical. The three then begin to talk, and Kim reveals that her boyfriend, Jason Kim (who Scott didn't even know was dating Kim), had cheated on her with Hollie, during the conversation Ramona's head begins to glow, while Scott tries to casually keep the conversation going, Kim goes for the blunt option and asks what's wrong with Ramona's head, confusing Ramona as she is unaware of the glow, however, when Kim takes Ramona to the bathroom to show her the glow, it stops. Scott then encounters the Twins once again and is forced to fight yet another robot at one of Julie's parties.
Kim and Ramona proceed to get drunk on Jose Cuervo tequila, and after defeating the robot, Scott joins them. Later, Kim takes the subway home, and is kidnapped by the twins. Ramona and Scott stumble home and have sex. Afterward, Ramona confronts Scott about whether he cheated on her with Knives or vice versa. He blurts out that he cheated on Knives with her. She demands an answer to how different one action was to the other, only getting an answer that she wasn't the one who was wronged. Her head then glows again in anger and annoyance, and she tells Scott that he is a bad person and "another Evil Ex waiting to happen". Fearing that his stupidity may lead to an impending breakup, Scott apologizes and vows to make everything better upon defeating the twins the next day and then Gideon. Scott then falls asleep, and then wakes up to find Ramona missing, terrifying Scott, only to be calmed when he discovers that Ramona was only in the shower, he then notices a text message from Kim about her kidnapping, Scott then quickly leaves, telling Ramona where he went, Ramona however does not hear this and storm out of the bathroom demanding to know what Scott was yelling about, only to discover that he had already left.
Scott arrives at a construction site to rescue Kim. Scott however is unable to perform at his fullest as he nursing a hangover and is troubled by his relationship with Ramona, the twins explain that Ramona cheated on both of them with one another and mock his belief in her fidelity. Kim attempts to bolster Scott's morale whilst also attempting to draw his attention to herself, but fails. As he begins to lose the fight, Kim lies and says that Ramona text messaged her to give Scott encouragement. Scott is motivated, and defeats the Twins simultaneously, racking up a massive bonus.
Scott rushes back to the apartment. To find Ramona who tells Scott that she is a bad person, Scott tries to calm her down, saying that he loves her no matter what, however, Ramona's head begins to glow brighter and brighter and she disappears, claiming that she "had a good time." Scott tries to look for her, but instead lets her cat out and locks himself out of her apartment.
Over the next few days, Scott bed-hops and tries to get Ramona's cat to come back by feeding it fish or fish-like items. Scott then goes to Kim's who reveals that Hollie had sold the couch, forcing Scott to spend the night sharing a bed with Kim, whilst there, Kim tells Scott that she going to move back home with her parents. Scott then spends a night at Wallace's place where he meets Mobile, Scott then immediately mistakes Mobile for Gideon, confusing him for Gideon, simply because the two wear glasses. A couple of days later, Kim departs to her parents and Scott sees her off, Scott apologizes to her for his behavior and she accepts.
Some time later, Scott moves into a new apartment paid for by his parents. Whilst there, Scott notices a person with thick-rimmed glasses, who he then mistakes for Gideon and kicks to the ground, Scott's parents then reveal that the person is his brother, Lawrence West, who Scott vaguely remembers, who came to get his bass guitar back from Scott, Scott gives the bass guitar back (failing to mention that it is broken) and the family leaves, leaving Scott alone. Scott then receives a telephone call from Gideon, who asks, "When would it be convenient for you to die?"
Scott is having a nightmare, in which he is wandering through his Dream Desert and he sees an image of Ramona. He dashes to it, but it suddenly turns into an image of Gideon who tells him he's waiting, before a flash blinds him. We then go to the real world where it has been four months since Ramona disappeared. Scott wastes away his time playing video games on his couch despite efforts from Wallace and Stephen to get him to go out, during the latter's visit Stephen reveals he started a new band. That night, Scott has a dream of Ramona impaling him with the Power of Love sword then being attacked by shadow creatures resembling Kim, Knives and Envy. Scott wakes up, very disturbed by the nightmare and heads out to the Cameron House to hear Stephen's latest band.
While there, Scott learns from Monique about Gideon's new club, the Chaos Theatre, which will soon open up soon in town. He also runs into Knives, now 18, and learns she'll be moving away to go to college. Scott offers to have casual sex with her, which she declines. The two reconcile after Knives explains she is slowly getting over Scott and moving on with her life. She offers to make out with him, which he accepts; however, they quickly stop after realizing how horrible it was.
Scott later makes his way to a party for someone named Sarah Jane in a daze, thinking it was for Julie. He meets Young Neil while there and learns that Envy is at the party. He tries to make fun of her when he see her but only ends up embarrassing himself and apologizes profusely to Envy.
The next morning Envy calls and the two go out for coffee to catch up, though Scott can barely keep himself in the conversation. Later, he meets with Wallace who reveals that Envy recently turned 25. Later that night, Scott gets a call from Kim telling him to come visit her. Gideon the cat comes back that night and Scott's able to sleep peacefully. The next day he meets with Envy again and the two talk about their past relationship, though Scott seems to have trouble remembering anything about it, especially the infamous New Year incident. Envy then reveals it was actually Scott who started the fight during the part that led to their break up. Gideon suddenly appears during their conversation, and Scott is intimidated by his presence, so he runs away.
Some time later, Wallace forces Scott to leave town for a "Wilderness Sabbatical" in hopes of getting Scott to clear his head and train for his battle with Gideon. Scott is reluctant but eventually heads north and stays with Kim and her parents. After breakfast one day, Scott and Kim head into the woods for his sabbatical. They talk about what it means to grow up, during which Scott tries to restart his relationship with her. Kim declines however, mentioning how he moved away and neglected to tell her any details on the matter, which she heard about from Lisa. Kim also reveals that the incident with Simon Lee wasn't the epic brawl Scott thought. As it turns out, Simon was actually a nerdy Chinese kid who Kim was dating at the time, and Scott attacked him simply because he saw Simon hug her.
Upon hearing this, Scott's head begins to glow and he once again spots his dark alter ego, NegaScott and a fight ensues between the two. Kim yells at Scott that he can't keep living like this. Scott retorts that he needs to kill NegaScott to leave Ramona in the past. Kim however tells him that if he keeps making mistakes, the fight against his dark side will never end, and she doesn't know what will happen if he continues. The words hit Scott hard as he suddenly remembers Ramona, and realizes he has been repressing his love for her to escape reality. The dark side stops its assault and merges back into him as Scott finally acknowledges his mistakes, commenting he doesn't deserve Ramona back. Kim however gives him encouragement tells him to fight and earn her back. She gives him one last kiss before Scott heads back to Toronto.
Scott soon arrives back in town and reaches the Chaos Theater on its opening night to look for Ramona. Along the way he meets up with Wallace, passes by Stephen, runs into Julie Powers and her friends, his sister Stacey, Young Neil (finally acknowledging him as "Neil", which is described as the greatest day in Neil's life), along with Knives and Tamara. The show suddenly begins with Envy being lowered down on the stage beginning her song. The lyrics clue Scott in that Gideon is near him, and the final battle begins. During the fight, Gideon reveals he didn't take Ramona and is surprised that Scott came without her as the nights events were planned around Ramona. Gideon catches Scott with one of his punches, and pulls out Scott's sword, the Power of Love, from his body. Upon learning that Ramona has left him, Gideon offers to make Scott the newest member of the League of Evil Exes. Scott refuses, to which Gideon responds by impaling him with his sword, killing Scott. He then buys everyone a round of drinks.
Scott finds himself in the dream desert lamenting his defeat, when Ramona suddenly tells him he is just having a dream. The two talk, during which Ramona apologizes for leaving Scott so suddenly, and explains she only did so to find herself; not to hurt Scott, though it had the opposite effect. Ramona also reveals that she only came back to make herself apologize to Scott to make herself feel better. Scott stops her mid-sentence with a kiss. Ramona stops him, but Scott tells her that he has already forgiven her, and they might as well make the best of the dream. Ramona reveals that Scott actually is dead; however, the extra life he got back in Vol 3 suddenly appears, and Scott finds himself in the Chaos Theater, revived. Ramona soon arrives coming out of him through Subspace. Seeing this, Gideon falls back on his original plan and reveals seven frozen capsules above the stage. Inside the capsules are six girls dressed in tattered nightgowns, with the seventh capsule empty. Gideon reveals that they are his former girlfriends whom he has kept frozen in order to revive and date at a later time. He wishes for Ramona to join them, to which Ramona declines, thus initiating the final battle.
Gideon reveals his ability to use the Glow as a sort of projectile, and fires it as a wide spray of light at the crowd giving them all the glow, before swiping at Scott and Ramona with his sword. During the battle, Scott and Ramona begin succumbing to the effects of the Glow, which causes them to argue. Between dodging, Scott asks why he is fighting him in the first place since Ramona left him, to which Ramona says she's right here fighting beside him. Scott then asks who started this mess in the first place. Gideon blames Ramona, revealing that after she left him, he got drunk and posted a rant on CraigsList.
Seeing no way to defeat Gideon, Ramona begins to disappear again, but is stabbed by Gideon mid-teleport and is mortally wounded. Gideon then realizes how she left him the first time: using The Glow to go into Subspace. He exposes how he got so rich, saying that he used the Glow as emotional warfare by sealing people inside their heads with their issues. He explains that Ramona managed to use it to her own advantage. Gideon then vanishes, laughing evilly as he does. As Ramona lies dying on the floor, she tells Scott that Gideon can literally get inside people's head - specifically her head. This inspires Scott to enter into Subspace too, and he uses Ramona's bag as a portal into her mind.
Once there, he confronts a twisted form of Gideon, which is seen as a god surrounded by his former girlfriends, including a chained Ramona, who seems head over heels for him. He claims that this was her "innermost desire" and he starts growing in size. Fed up with his arrogance, Scott headbutts Gideon with the Glow, returning Gideon to his original size. Gideon however slashes Scott in half, commenting that not only is he immune to the Glow since he has been trapped in his own mind since childhood, but also that Scott has no power in Ramona's head.
Suddenly, the enslaved version of Ramona transforms into the real Ramona, who has entered her own mind to set things right. She admits that part of her does belong to Gideon, but the other parts of her, which appear in the form of multiple Ramonas, are finished with him. Finally free of Gideon's control, she orders him to get out of her head. Gideon agrees to do so, but not before finishing off Scott. The army of Ramonas surge forth to defend Scott just as Gideon moves to deliver the killing blow.
The trio end up back in the real world where Ramona manages to block Gideon's strike with her purse, breaking the subspace inside it. The suitcase explodes, sending all manner of junk flying out of the purse, knocking Gideon off his feet. Ramona then takes Scott's Power of Love Sword, which heals her wounds, and officially declares her relationship with Gideon over. Envy asks if Gideon is okay, to which he coldly rebuffs her. Scott witnesses this and, upon recalling his own breakups with Envy, Knives, Kim, and Ramona, realizes that he has been no better at relationships than Gideon. He then looks at the crowd and sees his friends, including a vision of Kim, all watching and waiting for him to finish the fight. This makes him realize that despite his past mistakes, he can still redeem himself and become a better person. Through this understanding, Scott levels up and gains a new sword from his body, the Power of Understanding (as well as a new T-Shirt), and stands ready with Ramona to finish the fight.
During the fight, Gideon reveals he was spying on Scott and Ramona through Scott's head via the subspace highway, "spicing up" some of Scott's boring high school memories along the way, which is why Scott was having memory problems throughout the series. This only infuriates Ramona even more, who disarms Gideon leaving him at the mercy of the duo. He comments that getting rid of him won't change anything since they're their own worst enemy. But Scott and Ramona agree together that he's much worse and finish him off with a simultaneous cross strike. Gideon bursts into $7,777,777 worth of coins which rain down on the crowd (rather painfully). Envy confronts the duo next, but hugs Scott, which he views as closure for their past relationship.
Afterward, Scott and Ramona meet up with the others who mention the club getting shut down after that night. Scott recalls what happened in the bag, though the other don't seem to believe him, and Ramona reveals where she went after she disappeared; back to her dad's house to try and get herself together though she didn't have as much luck as Scott did. On the elevator ride up from the club, Scott and Ramona reaffirm their relationship and agree to give it another shot. The next night after work, Scott finds out that Stephen is gay and is currently dating Joseph. Scott and Kim try to start a new band called Shatter Band but find they can't play covers very well. Neither of them seem to care, however. The next day, Scott sees Knives off to college, during which she hugs him and mentions he'll always be her "Clash at Demonhead" (though he has no clue what that means). Finally, Scott meets up with Ramona who is waiting for him at a subspace door, ready to begin their relationship anew. With that, they hop into subspace holding hands and disappear into the void, off to live happily ever after.
