Tony Stark was expecting company. But it wasn't the usual boring SHIELD Agent company he usually got. He'd been getting a lot less of those since the Chitauri invasion happened, though. Probably because Nick Fury was actually letting the Avengers lay back for a bit and not be stalked by SHIELD Agents. The company Tony was expecting was none other than Bruce Banner himself, AKA the Hulk or, as Tony liked to call the Hulk, the giant green rage monster. Tony didn't call him that out of any animosity for Bruce or the Hulk, though. Tony just knew that he wanted to make Bruce comfortable with the Hulk. Because if Tony had a giant monster to turn into he wouldn't just let it sit there, he'd use it for something - probably the exact same thing he used the Iron Man suit for.
At that very moment, Tony was just standing in front of one of his many holographic consoles fiddling with a holographic model of his current Iron Man armor. With a swipe of his hand, Tony took the gauntlets of the armor off and replaced them with gauntlets which, in theory, would use less power when firing repulsors. Using armor when fighting was difficult. You always have to pay attention to power levels and keep updating the armor.... But it was much more fit to Tony than suddenly having tons of power. He was a scientist through and through and, as such, loved working on things like his armor and making something that shouldn't be possible happen with science.
Tony duplicated the holographic model of the new gauntlet and made it larger. The various components of the model suddenly separated, allowing Tony to work a bit more on the inner workings of the proposed new gauntlet. After adjusting the gauntlet a bit more, Tony spoke. "Alright JARVIS, get that made and I'll give it a test run later." The hologram disappeared and JARVIS responded with a simple. "It will be done in an hour, sir."

Bruce was...slightly nervous about staying within New York after the Chitauri invasion. He still held that tiny bit of fear that something could set him off and release the Gamma creature lurking within him. Even though he knew that he'd been able to come to terms with himself that he could control the Hulk if he tried....like he had during the invasion....to protect the Avengers...and the people of Manhattan.
He held a small duffle bag in his hand as he stood before Stark Tower. He scuffed his shoe against the cement sidewalk rather shyly before taking a breath and walking towards the door. He wasn't here to save the world, Tony had called him here for science, or at least that's what he hoped...that the billionaire just needed help figuring out his scientific equations for his next Iron Man suit.
The doors opened automatically, just like he'd expected, Tony had the money for such liberties. Though, Bruce had gotten used to the common use of a doorknob and a manually opening door.
He found himself in a lobby (at least I assume it opens into a lobby?), awkwardly holding his bag. This time he brought more than just a toothbrush, unlike his last adventure that involved staying for more than a day.
He didn't see Pepper around, she must have been busy in a meeting elsewhere.
"Tony? Anybody home?" His voiced echoed a bit throughout the room.

"It seems Mr. Banner has arrived, sir." JARVIS said as Tony continued modifying the blue holographic armor. Tony shrank the armor hologram down and opened up a holographic screen of the lobby. With all the crazy evil people around he had to make sure it really was Bruce instead of some... crazy evil guy. "Get the elevator ready, JARVIS." Tony said as he shut the holograms down and walked through the large, machinery-filled room to the door. The door opened out into a long hallway, not unlike that of a hotel, which was decorated with some framed pictures of Iron Ma and the Avengers. Pepper had wanted to decorate the hall with what she called "real art", but Tony had too big of an ego for that.
Tony soon reached the unremarkable silver-colored doors that marked the elevator. After a bit of standing there listening to an obnoxious elevator song, Tony reached the lobby. The metal doors slid open, revealing Bruce Banner holding a bag, which was probably filled with... stuff. Tony was didn't really know. "Hey there." Tony said, giving a slight wave as he walked out of the elevator and into the lobby. "Glad you came. You're gonna love it. So, what floor do you want to see first?"

Bruce had been wandering about the lobby, noticing where wars between fine art being hung up compared to Iron Man posters, newspaper clippings had happened. He couldn't help but find it a bit amusing seeing where Pepper's taste in art clashed with Tony's passion for....well himself.
He looked a bit startled as Tony entered the room, quickly turning to face him. The scientist blinked as he stared at the billionaire as he spoke.
He should have expected as much. Tony inviting him down for one reason, and then telling him it was for an entirely different purpose.
"Floor? Tony, I thought you called me here to help you with something...not tour Stark Towers..." He replied.
His fingers curled and uncurled around the handles of his duffle bag rather anxiously as he watched Tony. The...oth--The Hulk had already torn through this place once before while battling Loki, he wasn't sure Tony would appreciate it happening again if something went wrong.
The good doctor did understand that if he tried he could control the "green rage monster" (as Tony put it), but...he still worried....about the property damage he could build up and if he would hurt anyone... that and he probably owed the city billions in property damage after the Hulk's run-in with the Chitauri.

Well, how else was Tony supposed to get him to Stark Tower? It's not like he would show up if Tony said he just wanted to fool around with delicate, scientific things for fun. He was pretty sure he knew all, or at least most, of the Avengers after what happened in New York and the Shawarma afterwards. Plus, it's not like they weren't keeping in contact anyway. In fact, Tony was devising something that could keep them all in contact and make them able to call upon each other in times of trouble. But, the "identicards" (it was a working title and Tony was feeling lazy that day) weren't ready for use yet, so they just had to use phones and stuff. The only one he wasn't able to reach immediately was Thor. The other four were easy enough to reach.
"Yeah, we can get to that later." Tony said, essentially proving that there really was nothing specific he wanted to get to. In all honesty, Tony wanted to get Bruce to do something fun with himself. He was almost positive that he could get him to do something he would enjoy before and now he was... very, very close to positive. At least he'd have some fun doing... science things? He was sure Bruce wouldn't hate it at Stark Towers, especially since he was a scientist like Tony was. The top couple of floors were heaven for anyone into science. Most of it was filled with his own inventions, or the inventions in development that Bruce could help him with. Maybe he'd be able to get the indenticards going with him, who knows?

It wasn't like Bruce had the cash to catch another cab back to wherever it would take him. Traveling from New York to India was a pretty long trip--having traveled back there to help the sick after the Avengers' fight with Loki. Thankfully enough, Natasha had given him a SHIELD cellphone, which she promised wasn't being tracked, to keep in contact with the other Avengers for the time being.
The contacts list had almost every Avenger's number. He assumed it was the same with everyone else's cellular device, especially since Tony had been able to get ahold of him to bring him back to New York City. Well, except Thor of course, it was hard to get service bars on Asgard...
So he might as well humor the billionaire while he was stuck spent some time at Stark Towers.
He let his body relax, his grip on the duffel back loosening, and he took a few deep breaths. "Well...I don't think you'll just let me walk out so...I guess I'll just have to go along with whatever you've been scheming, Tony."

Tony was very glad he was able to get Bruce back to New York, especially since he actually managed to get him into Stark Tower. It was something of a surprise to Tony that he'd managed to get him back to New York from India, though he did have a bit to do with making it much less expensive to get the plane trips. It was the least he could do after getting him to go to New York anyway.
"You can leave if you want. I didn't scheme anything. You agreed to come to New York." Not entirely true. Tony had told him that they were working on some big science-y project that was important and... well, they weren't. Tony did have a few things he could use some help with, but besides that he just wanted to get Bruce doing things. Sure, helping the sick was great, but Tony knew he could be doing other things with his mind. He was a genius, after all.
"So, what was the floor you wanted to go to?" Tony asked, approaching the elevator at the other side of the room. "Pretty much every floor has something fun and... science-y." Even Tony wasn't positive what each floor contained, except that the top floor was his main room and the bottom floors were his multiple armor armor labs. So, pretty much every floor was fun.

"I...nevermind." Bruce rubbed the bridge of his nose. He knew either way the billionaire would try to talk him into staying otherwise. Serenade him with words of science, so to speak. He wondered how many floors Tony had actually spent time on himself. The tower was quite large. "Well..." Bruce thought about it. Tony most likely only visited the floors that had science equipment and his Iron Man suit on it. So perhaps they could both fieldtrip to the floors that Tony never looked at on the elevator's button list.
"How about floors you've never been to, Tony? Assuming that you haven't been to all of them, of course." Bruce suggested.
This was going to either be an interesting, or stressful week for them. Though, Bruce was hoping for the interesting rather than the stressful...because when things got stressful...the other guy tended to pay a visit...

Tony hadn't been to all of the floors, of course. It was a massive building and going to absolutely all of them was a daunting task. Especially when most of them were for Tony's employees. Those weren't the fun floors, though. They were just cubicles with people doing computer work and other stuff Tony didn't make himself do. So, he would got to the floor he liked the most.
"Yeah, all the floors I don't go to are boring, so... Let's just go to the top floor for now. I got a guy to make us shawarma." Why not? They all did like their shawarma after all. Tony was pretty sure that shawarma was the best meal for any of the Avengers to have now. Mostly because Tony had really enjoyed his shawarma after their big fight with Loki and the Chitauri.
Tony walked into the elevator. "JARVIS, when Bruce walks into the elevator I want you to take me to one of the armor labs. Alright?" Tony said. "Yes, Mr. Stark." The voice of JARVIS said.

Bruce just shook his head with an amused expression on his face. He should have expected as much. He also find the fact that Tony had planned for them to have Shawarma for lunch amusing as well. It was pretty good, he had to admit, when they first tried it. That and he hadn't tasted "real" food for a while during his stay in India. It made his stomach growl a bit. He didn't each much on the plane ride from India.
"Alright," He replied as he followed Tony into the elevator.

So, it looked like Tony had managed to amuse him. That was a start! Really, Tony wanted this to be a good experience for Bruce. Of course, by good experience he didn't mean happy-hug-loves all day long. No, he wanted to kinda... give a message, maybe? Really, he just wanted the guy to have some fun for once in his life instead of being holed up in some barren wasteland hiding from the government all the time. Speaking of which, Tony had.... monetarily convinced a few people to take the Hulk off the list of National Threats. It was a much needed fresh start.
As soon as the two got into the elevator, it started going down. It was a long ride, due to the sheer height of Stark Tower. Of course, the elevator played some annoying tune as they descended. "...Yeah, I didn't program the elevator music." Tony said as he pulled out a small device and shut off the sprightly tune. Soon enough, the elevator stopped. The door opened up into one of Tony's many armor labs. Tony stepped out of the elevator and walked over to a metal cylinder. With a snap of his fingers, the cylinder opened, revealing the newest version of his armor... or the prototype for it. "You like it?"

Bruce was quite impressed by how many floors exactly made up Tony's tower, especially after he counted exactly how many buttons there were. He could only imagine a child running in and lighting up the elevator like a Christmas tree. He held back his small laughter at the image. Though he couldn't help but smirk at the elevator music. "Pepper's idea?" He said, half jokingly, as Tony turned off the music.
He followed Tony out of the elevator when it stopped. He had an impressed look on his face as they entered what Bruce assumed was Tony's "armory" of sorts. He watched as the metal cylinder opened, revealing the newest Iron Man suit. "I'm not a mechanic, or a designer, but it looks pretty good." He replied. Bruce didn't know much about Tony's suits, and he wasn't much for critiquing other peoples' work--unless of course it was something scientific that he noticed was wrong or done incorrectly. Though, he didn't want to offend the man, so he kept his words short and sweet.
