Personality: Clint Barton loves the thrill of adventure and would find it hard to settle down into a quiet life somewhere in suburbia. He's bold, decisive, phenomenal, sneaky and devilishly tricky. He's unusually experienced and gets the job done as long as he's in control of the situation. Hawkeye is a master of improvisation and can quickly adapt to situations where he's supremely overpowered and shouldn't stand a change. He often fights super-powered gangs with acrobatics, arrows and quick remarks only while actually managing to not only survive, but to win also.
Powers/Abilities: Hawkeye is an athletic archer, acrobat and hand-to-hand combatant. His archery skill borders on the superhuman, and he routinely pulls off near-impossible stunts, such as ricocheting arrows several times to hit an opponent straight behind him. Hawkeye is unusually intelligent and sharp and, on occasion, manages to defeat opponents who are far superior to him, by tricking them. He's also a smooth talker. Being the builder of his own bows and arrows, he has mechanical and electrical skills, which are surprisingly good. As a non-powered hero, he's also an able pilot, driver, sneaker, and lock-pick. Hawkeye's leadership abilities are very developed and good. The only trace of superhuman abilities that he has, besides his skill in archery, is his extremely keen eyesight.
Equipment:A customized quiver and bow. (A series of taps on his bow allows his quiver to mechanically attach an arrow shaft to a variety of trick arrowheads.) He also carries a knife in case he gets into hand-to-hand combat and needs it.
Psychological Flaws: He has a soft spot for kids or teenagers that were orphaned at a young age like he was.
Physical Flaws: He has the typical human vulnerabilities, he's not an immortal, so he can be killed by anything a human can be killed by.

When his parents were killed in an automobile accident when he was eight, Barton and his brother were placed in the state orphanage. At fourteen, Clint and Barney Barton ran away from the institute to join a traveling carnival. There Clint Barton apprenticed himself to the carnival's star attraction, the mysterious rogue known only as the Swordsman. Recognizing Clint's natural flair for archery, the Swordsman agreed to tutor him in the art. He trained at it eight hours a day for four years, and became extremely talented. So much so that after leaving the carnival, he showed up on SHIELD's radar and was recruited by them. He has been part of the organization ever since and recently helped in neutralizing the threat of Loki.
Reason for being on AM: To be a part of the Avengers.
Sample RP: Anything he tried to distract himself didn't work. But there was one thing he knew would work because it always helped him clear his head. He grabbed his sheath, strapped it to his back and picked up his bow. A bit in the distance, he could see the practice dummies. He nocked an arrow and aimed at it. Inhale. Exhale. Loose. The arrow flew from his bow and hit the dummy right in the chest where it's heart would be if it was a real person. He nocked another arrow and loosed it at the same dummy, this time hitting its lower abdomen. It was working, he knew it would. Doing this was the only thing that truly cleared his mind when he needed it. And he definitely needed it now.
