Hotel Transylvania was a quiet place, a hidden place. Except during its Open Season. For, now, the staff of the hotel were busy cleaning and sprucing the whole place up. Like this time every year, they were about to have guests, lots of them. The hotel's owner, Count Dracula, strode confidently down the stairs with a bright, cheery smile. All of his employees (who don't get paid for this) waited for him in the hotel's main foyer. Stopping at the last step on the staircase, Dracula opened his arms wide to address everyone present.
"Okay, everyone! Everything is just about ready for this year's season. House Keeping, please finish cleaning rooms 678-831; there was a little accident that needs attending." Dracula smiled sheepishly to his witchy maids before they flew off and he turned his attention to the others before him and continued. "Security!" As he called to them, the various enchanted Suits of Armor rose to attention. "Many more monsters and ghouls have booked their stay here, this year; this might get a bit more loud. We'll need extra security and daytime perimeters!" As they were dismissed, Dracula turned his final attention to one monster in particular. "Quasimodo! I hope you've prepared the meals and courses for the entire season! Without any slip-ups!" Narrowing his eyes at the Hunchback momentarily, the King of the Undead didn't wait for an answer. Instead, he swept back up the stairs and proceeded down the halls.
A solitary, imposing figure as he walked the halls of Hotel Transylvania, Count Dracula needed to make just a few more preparations. After his little ghoul, Mavis had departed for her own adventures, he had one less pair of supernatural hands to help around the hotel; and her presence was felt by all of the staff. Having Dracula manage everything in the hotel allowed things to run smoothly nine out of ten times. But, having his daughter to help him had always made things much easier and faster. Shaking such morose from his mind, Dracula continued on his path in a faster pace. The Headless Coachman had already left in his hearse to bring those monsters who'd payed extra for express travel. Very soon, Hotel Transylvania would be catering to all the monsters of the world...

The sound of an unearthly screech suddenly sounded from seemingly nowhere. In a flash, reality itself began to distort around a particular area, making odd, static-like shapes appear in the air. The screech began to fade and the static disappeared. In their wake, the tall, suit-clad entity known only as the Slender Man. The Slender Man simply... stood there, for a moment. Perhaps he was examining the area, perhaps he was determining something... who could possibly know?
The Slender Man's head tilted, as if he were turning his attention to Dracula. If the truth were to be told, the Slender Man himself was unsure what his business in this hotel was. Obviously, he did not sleep or relax. He had no need for those things. There was nothing at the hotel that he desired or needed. But yet, he was there. He had, of course, opted not to take the carriage. No, that was not what he was here for.
The only reason he was there was because he seemed to want something there. Perhaps even he did not yet know what it was, but there you go. He needed something that only Hotel Transylvania could provide. The Slender Man's tentacles suddenly burst from his back and, like some monstrous spider legs, began to carry him away from the area and towards the hotel itself. He desired something within... No, he needed something within. But what was it?

Hotels were strange. Of course, she had stayed in them before - ones that catered to trainers, when she had had a trainer - but the concept of paying for a place to stay seemed... odd to her. Still, this one was for monsters, which Makya apparently was, and that meant it would be... different. And interesting. Her subtle search for her own kind still continued, of course, but even if they weren't there, there was a chance of not having anyone stare, or scream, or faint. Intimidation was fine, but so many seemed to find her presence terrifying that it was just too easy now. At least here, there wouldn't be anything like that. It would be... nice.
She had opted out of the carriage, mostly out of a sense of pride that she could easily handle getting to such a place. That was... mostly true, though she was a little tired now. Approaching the building, she eyed it for a moment, spreading her finned arms. It looked... like any other building, but that most certainly wasn't an ordinary human... walking there. On many... legs? Tentacles? Even looking at it made her skin crawl.
Monsters. There really were monsters here, then, and probably nothing so mild as another Pokemon. Still, she was here - it was best to keep going. Leaning forward, she stomped on in, trying to ignore the paranoia that was trying to get her to whirl around and stare behind her every minute.

Getting lost was one of Lynn's specialties. Especially when she was exhausted, starving, sleep deprived, and running dangerously low on the drug that kept her viruses at bay. She needed to find a place where she could rest and make more of her medicine.
It was hard to make more of most of the time, since it came from a flower called Stairway to the Sun, a flower native to Africa that could not grow over in the States. However, her adoptive mother, Kalypso, had a contact over in Africa that would send her a bouquet of them each month. Kalypso had shown Lynn how to create the medication shots on her own, just in case something like this happened...a nightmare causing her to run in her sleep. Which was why, oddly enough, the angelic woman tended to sew a few flowers into her daughter's clothing. Strange, yes, but helpful.
Lynn now found herself standing in front of a long stone bridge leading to a strange looking castle. She wasn't sure where, but maybe she could find the master of the castle and ask to spend the night. Well, hopefully if they could understand sign language, or had a piece of paper for her to write on...what if they didn't understand English? That could be a problem too...
Her headaches were setting in, a warning sign that she needed a shot soon. She stumbled slightly as she reached the doors, which oddly reminded her of doors for the hotels from the ones she'd seen in large cities that she ran away from. (She had a problem with staying in large cities. Too many people wearing white...white like lab coats.)
She rubbed her eyes, already feeling them beginning to flicker in color. Flickering in and out of that cat-like orange color to their usual spectrum. Her hands pushed at the doors, nearly falling in, when she noticed all of the creatures before her.
She froze as she took in the sight. Monsters, all of them were monsters. Real monsters. Though for some reason, she didn't feel scared. She thought she'd be terrified...especially by the man wearing the suit with multiple tentacles coming out of his body. But no, she felt no fear. She felt...like she were in the right place...because...she had always felt like a monster.

Somehow, some way, the strange girl and her demon kitty cat companion managed to scrounge up the funds for a fun little vacation here! Thing is...they could only afford two forms of getting there. One was making a portal nearby and try not to get lost on the way, the second was what they decided on in the long run as a final decision: at the front desk there was a big ol' crate wiggling left to right. There were even clawing noises coming from within this wooden box! "Juju, I REALLY think we're here! Let's go and explore when we get outta here!" It was just so exciting to finally be in a place where she wouldn't have ANYONE be mean to her right off the bat!
Or at least that's what the whole brochure thing seemed to insinuate to both she and her feline demon companion, Juju, read up on it. It wasn't exactly the most common thing for him to approve of some sort of hotel stay that didn't result in a mass murder of sorts, so this was a sort of different she was looking forward to! Plus he was explaining to her how they would be around something closer to their own kind. With all the commotion that scrawny girl was making in that crate, she managed to wobble it off the counter and right onto the ground. Of course, it screeched like a pair of kitties got their paws stepped on from a pair of heavy boots!
Frantically, the box began tumbling around and about like CRAZY! WOAH THAT WOODEN BOX HAD AN AGENDA, DIDN'T IT?! Tumbling and rolling about, where it was gonna bump into, nobody could fully predict! Not even its contents could!

The carriage that was currently traveling through the haunted woods surrounding Hotel Transylvania was unlike the one that normally made its rounds. Large and stately, the black carriage was pulled by two enormous, horned, black horses that left tiny flames of fire as their hooves hit the ground, not enough to set anything ablaze, but enough to be noticeable. The windows were drawn with red, velvet curtains and the doors were adorned with the heads of silver demon-like creatures, each holding a ring in its mouth.
Inside was the honorable (or, perhaps not so honorable) Earl Phantomhive, who was, at present, making it his business to travel to this hotel. Transylvania was certainly a place known for paranormal and supernatural activity, and Ciel was quite interested if any information could be gathered for the Queen, both in and around the hotel. For this reason, he and Sebastian (who was, at present, driving the hellish carriage that had been conjured from nowhere in front of Ciel's manor) had traveled to this place from England. While their method was a bit...showy, even for Ciel's tastes, it would most likely assure the owner of this place that they were certainly not human.
As they neared the heart of the forest, a part of the ground suddenly slid open, revealing a path underground that most likely led to the hotel's entrance. The carriage continued on its way as the horses were whipped into a canter to bring them across the bridge. A trail of dying flames followed its progress as it sped towards the hotel, and after a few moments it had arrived. As the door was opened for him, Ciel stepped out, his normal attire flowing into a long, red coat as he transformed. Horns sprouted from his head and with a few 'cracks', wings slid out from his back. They flexed twice as he stepped forward, waving a black-nailed had towards Sebastian.
"Come. Allow the staff to see to my things," Ciel ordered, walking towards the entrance. Perhaps the staff was...somewhat odd and undead, but there wasn't anything that couldn't be replaced in his luggage. With a regal air, Ciel allowed the door to be opened for him by Sebastian and stepped inside, narrowly avoiding a wooden crate rolling by in front of him. Perhaps it was a sign of things to come, but nevertheless, the young Earl pressed on, his gaze settling on what appeared to be Dracula himself. Perfect.
Approaching the vampire, Ciel waited for Sebastian to introduce him before stepping forward with a coolly polite incline of his head. "Count Dracula, I presume? I believe my butler has made arrangements for my stay." After all, an Earl did need to have appropriate accommodations.

Sebastian has heard much of Count Dracula's (and much of the non-human community's) paranoia towards humans. The concept of fear towards humans was amusing to the demon, who had not only managed to perfectly integrate himself into the human community but slaughtered dozens upon dozens of humans in his time. Though, his days of killing human were over, unless ordered to kill by his master. Because of Dracula's paranoia, Sebastian was forced to remain in his demonic form for the time being and they were forced to ride to the Hotel in an over-dramatic style.
The carriage soon arrived at the hotel and cease right outside the door. Immediately, a mob of groaning, decaying human bodies shambled towards the carriage. Sebastian eyed the group disapprovingly, but his orders were to allow them to take care of Ciel's things. Sebastian stepped out of the carriage and followed Ciel to the vampire. His current form was not his true demonic form, seeing as that form was simply unnecessary to maintain. Instead, he had shifted his human form to grow horns and fangs. His skin had changed to a dark grey and his eyes had turned red. Much like his master, he had two large, batlike wings protruding from his back.
As soon as the two reached Count Dracula, Sebastian placed a hand on his chest and bowed to the Count. "Greetings, Count Dracula." Sebastian said. "I am the butler of the Phantomhive Estate. I trust you remember our previous contact?" The demon simply took his place behind Ciel afterwards, allowing his master to deal with this otherwise.
