It was Johnny's birthday. Of course, that meant he would have a party - one with all his friends. That was good thinking! Johnny was, of course, in his apartment watching his favorite show: Paranormal. It was about traveling cousins who fought aliens. Johnny liked it very much because it was his favorite show. His favorite show.
Johnny laughed loudly and stood up. Suddenly, his expression darked. He was ENRAGED. Johnny ran over to his television, the same one he'd thrown out the window before and punched, grabbed it and threw it out the window. "HYOU AHR TEAHRING ME APAHT, TV." He shouted, before his demeanor changed again and he sat down to watch some TV and wait for the guests.

Of course Lisa had to go to Johnny's party. There wasn't really any way of getting out of it, since she was his future wife - and especially after she'd helped plan the party in the first place. ...But she wasn't really into it. This party was going to be lame, she just knew it. Why did Johnny have to get all the attention just because it was his birthday? If there was one thing that really pissed Lisa off, it was when she wasn't getting enough attention...and so she really wasn't looking forward to this at all. On the bright side, Mark might be there. He was, after all, Johnny's best friend. If he was there, she'd definitely sneak out into the back yard to make out with him. Even though it was her future husband's birthday. Who cared?
She hoped she wasn't going to be late. She'd been held up by the very serious heart-to-heart talk she'd had with Claudette. Her mother had informed her that she got the results of her test back, and she definitely breast cancer. Lisa didn't see what the big deal was, though - there was no need to worry about it. They were curing people every day. And besides, by the time she'd gotten back to Johnny's place, she'd mostly forgotten that any of that had even happened.
She walked in to see Johnny sitting on the couch, in front of the television. Which was broken. Lisa looked directly at it for a moment, but didn't really seem to register what had happened. In fact, she ignored that little plot point completely as she turned back to face Johnny. "Surprise!" she shouted, despite the fact that none of the other guests were here yet - and that this wasn't even a surprise party. Johnny had known about it all along. Oh well! And then, suddenly, Lisa was wearing an obnoxiously bright party hat that had seemingly come out of nowhere - as if two shots of a movie had been poorly edited together, and the director hadn't noticed the goof.
