There were legends surrounding the abandoned Denbigh Asylum in North Wales. Some said it was haunted, others said that demons possessed all that entered..but for Urban Exploration enthusiasts, just another building to be explored and photographed.
No one knew why people ventured there willingly in the towns nearby, all the townsfolk spooked by the urban legends and haunting myths. Some said that sirens lived in the basement of the ruined hospital, forcing men and women to come to the Asylum.
To tourists, they'll say that citizens and visitors that had gone to the Asylum never came back. They'll warn to never go there after nightfall, that something of pure evil lives there. Of course, many will ignore the pleas of the townsfolk. The 21st Century dulls down the supernatural with its TV shows on ghost hunting, and demon hunters. Spirits, demons, angels, all appears to be fiction in the eyes of regular Humans. But will it work on others from different universes? Different ages? Different races even? Heroes? Villains?
Something lurks deep within that not even the new explorers that began to appear would understand. Each was brought here for a certain reason, the entity within the building wanted them for a reason. Only by entering the Asylum would they understand what kind of danger they were walking into. However, during they day they'd be safe, it was night they had to fear...when everything would wake up...but for now...the lambs flock to the slaughter...as they arrive at the Denbigh Asylum.

It wasn't Innocent's plan to come visit the Asylum. In fact, he was happier staying within the walls of his shop. It was quiet there and safe there. He didn't have to worry about getting hurt or having things haunt him. Though, it wasn't like there were already ghosts haunting him...theoretical ones at least, his memories. Even though he wasn't the Persona to witness the events Greed-ler brought forth, he could still remember them. They made him sick.
Belle was the one to pull him out of his turtle shell. She brought up the idea of exploring some place she felt was full of adventure. He didn't like the thought whatsoever. It terrified him actually, once he heard rumors that the place was haunted. Innocent wasn't as brave as his other counterparts. Greed-ler could care less about ghosts, and Once-ler fully believed the Lorax was doing things to him for revenge. Even though the Lorax was already long gone.
"B-Belle I think we should go back, this place looks unsafe. I-I m-mean you n-never know when the floorboards will break through. A-And the roof could c-cave in. And this place it's h-haunted. E-Evil spirits aren't very n-nice, Belle." Innocent whimpered as he stayed close to the female. It was an awkward, yet humorous sight that even Greed would have laughed at. A bean pole like Innocent clinging to a smaller woman like Belle.
He recalled the car they'd passed near the outskirts of the Asylum. "B-Besides, someone's already h-here. They'll probably w-want us to g-go away. Or it could be th-the law enfo-forcement. T-They pr-probably don't want us here, Belle please let's go b-back to Storybrooke."
He didn't even understand how Belle had managed to get out of the town without having her memory wiped like that dwarf fellow. Did Rumple cast a spell on her before she left? Or was something else going on that no one was aware of?

The grand suite of Granny's Bed & Breakfast has certainly seen a lot more use after the Dark Curse breaking. First, it had been only Belle staying at the inn. However, during her trip to Argenitina, Belle had happened across Rumpelstiltskin's only son, Baelfire. After that, the young lady had insisted the boy stay with her in the suite. It wasn't too long after that, Belle had visited Storybrooke's new shop, the one Greed-ler had purchased from Mr. Gold. While exploring the new shop, and helping Greed-ler clean up, Belle had miraculously pulled Innocent out of the depths of the poor young man's mind. She still didn't quite understand how that works, but she tried not to dwell on it for too long.
After that adventure, Belle had soon learned from Innocent the kind of man Greed-ler truly was; and she was then thankful that Greed had been replaced with Innocence. She'd then had Innocent in her suite frequently; sometimes helping him to figure out his life and sometimes giving him much-needed pep talks (which was something she did very well, if she did say so, herself!). All in all, he was a very bright soul, if a little low on self-esteem. He also didn't seem to get out much. While Belle was always looking for an excuse to venture out into the world, Innocent had mostly opted to stay in his shop. Hoping to help Innocent come out of his shell, she had made many attempts to lure him out of his metaphorical shell. And, just the other day, she had managed to do just that! She had no idea where they would go, but Belle was planning it to be quite the adventure.
As Belle was slipping her shoes on, she heard something at the door. Opening it, she found no one on the other side. When she looked down, however, she found a sheet of paper. Belle flipped it over to discover it was a postcard, of sorts. Depicted on it's front was a small town with a dilapidated building looming over it from behind. Grinning eagerly, she realized she may very well have found exactly what she was looking for: an adventure. Moving swiftly, Belle grabbed the credit card she still had from Rumpelstiltskin and left the building. Her first stop was to the school, where Bae was. Belle had to tell him she would be away for a little while and to keep his father busy while she was gone. Rumpelstiltskin wasn't too eager to let her leave Storybrooke. He was... overprotective, just a tad.
Done with that, Belle had made her way to Greed's store to pick up Innocent and, soon after, they were on a plane and heading to Europe. When the plane touched down, Belle had bought herself a camera to capture the beauty of any scenery they might find and bought them a ride in a taxi service. The car took them as close as it could manage to the little town and its "haunted" asylum and they had trekked the rest of the way on foot. Belle now looked up and up at the asylum, taking in its worn beauty.
"Oh, relax Innocent; being cautious is a part of the adventure! Creaky floorboards and faulty ceilings are part just as much a part of it as the thrill. Besides, you can trust me, my friend, Rump-Mr. Gold, won't let anything truly dangerous happen to us." At least, Belle hoped he would be able to sense if she came upon any life-threatening danger... For now, though, the small woman took Innocent's arm and gave the young man a reassuring squeeze and an encouraging smile. "And don't worry about the car. This place has been abandoned for who knows how long; they're probably here because they want to explore, just like us."
Confident her words could help strengthen the young man, Belle tugged him along with her as she strode right up to one of the windows on the side of the building. She scrubbed away years of dust, not really minding how dirty her clothes became, and put her face to it, a hand on each side to block out light. Within, the building seemed just as broken down as the rest of the building. Once more, she looked to Innocent. "Well, shall we try the front door?" On her face was a smirk, as if sharing a small, inside joke with him.

he said simply to them as he kept on walking and slowed at the door. Placing his hand on the door, he stopped as he remembered what the place looked like, and opened the door to head inside the building. "You know, if you want to explore, you should come on in," he said to Belle and Innocent as he looked around the lobby area, or what was once the lobby. "Its been a long time," he says simply as he walks over to the front desk and looks at it. running his hand on the top of it, he gathers the dust that has acquired on top of it and rubs his hands off. Looking at the desk, he sees that it has not stood well against the elements of nature and humans. Pieces of it are broken or missing. Windows are busted out, cracked or missing. The air seems... different in here, but that is to be expected with a place like this and how old it is. Turning to see if the two out front are gonna join him in here, Methos looks and remembers this being a different place. Even when he first came here in 1861, he felt that something was unique about the place; with all the various types of patients and those who had died here while searching for help. Being in this place, he can still hear the screams, the cry's the laughter, the proclomations of those who were here and lived here. AS he finishes his look, he thinks and pulls out a flashlight, considering he does not need one, as he knows the layout of the place extremely well. But on the edges of his senses, there is something.... odd here that he cannot figure out. He felt it when he was first here in 1861 and the the following years he worked here. He never did figure out what it was, but perhaps he might figure out what it is that made him feel like something was not normal about the place.[/blockquote][/ul]

Walking? Taking cars and taxis?
Peasants.
Oswin had her own way of getting around, thanks very much. Well, okay, technically it was the Doctor's, but she lived on the TARDIS just as much as he did. And therefore, it was her way too. And, whether it was her way or not, it was still going to be what she arrived in. She wasn't a firm believer in the supernatural and paranormal, her realm lay more in the technological and scientific. But, the Doctor had suggested checking out the asylum anyway, just to see what might have been lurking in the shadows. And, perhaps it wasn't supernatural at all! There had been countless times that people had mistaken the extraterrestrial for the paranormal, and if this was one of those times, she and the Doctor would have to help whatever it was return home.
With its trademark loud whirring, the TARDIS appeared on the week-choked lawn outside the asylum. The door opened and Oswin stepped out, checking the pouches in her belt to make sure she had all she needed for the night's exploration. Really, not much was needed, but it had seemed prudent to bring along a torch (weighted, in case Oswin needed to whack someone or something over the head) and a back-up communicator, in case the one around her wrist was broken. Apart from that and her scanner, Oswin didn't have much on her. All the better, really, she'd need to travel light if she was going to be poking around where she didn't belong. Which, of course, she was. Anyone who expected otherwise clearly didn't know her.
And oh. There were people right over there. And they'd probably seen the TARDIS appear and disappear. Whoops. Ah well, best to smooth things over as best she could. They'd think she was mad, but who was to say she wasn't? With a small grin, Oswin gave the assembled group a little wave. "Hello!" So far, so good. "Um...right. Might want to explain the...yeah. Don't suppose we couldn't just leave it at 'it's a long story'?"
Without waiting for an answer, Oswin stepped forward, hoping they wouldn't be frightened or anything. After all, she'd just appeared out of a time machine, who was to say they wouldn't be afraid of someone who had control over such power? Just so long as they weren't running scared of her appearance, Oswin was completely fine. And who was going to be scared of a completely normal, human girl? "Right." Oswin snapped her torch up into her hand. "You lot going inside, then? Mind taking another person along?" There was no harm in accompanying a group, right? She'd expected to go in by herself, but having other people with her wasn't objectionable. Besides, multiple people could cover more ground than just one.

Innocent stared at the man they came across. Well, he was very welcoming, and not a cop that would throw them in prison for urban exploration. Though, Innocent overly judged everyone he met. Except for Belle, of course, she released him from Greed's mind prison--even if Oncie was supposed to escape instead of him. Big mistake there, but, he was working on a way to get Oncie out. Innocent had horrible people and socialization skills to say the least.
The man that they had run into seemed to know a lot about the place as he entered. He was about to follow when he heard an odd noise behind him. His head turned to see an odd blue box appear out of thin air, and a girl had stepped out of it. His eyes went wide as he instantly assumed it was some sort of celestial being or a spirit even.
"B-Belle, i-it's a sp-spirit. Sh-She appeared out of t-thin air, n-no a blue box!" He said, quickly jumping behing the smaller woman. The boy seriously needed to stop jumping to conclusions.
However, as Oswin began speaking, Innocent felt himself relaxing just a bit. The girl didn't seem hostile, and she didn't look translucent like a ghost would. That and she didn't sparkle like any kind of un-human like creature. (That and Innocent needed desperate mythology classes on learning about spirits and mythological creatures.)
In fact, she looked fairly normal, just her mode of travel was...suspicious and abnormal as can be. But coming from a persona made up by a boy who was trapped within his own mind with his "evil" counterpart, he shouldn't be speaking.
"Y-You're not...a ghost r-right, M-Miss? Or are you a ghost? Because if you're a ghost, I-I think you'll learn really fast possessing my body won't work out too well..." Innocent said nervously.

he asks them as he studies them. "And I take it that you know what this place is and its history," he adds as he looks towards the setting sun than back. "My advice, is if you want to explore, than I would come inside, as strange things probably happen here once the sun drops. Moreover, it gets a little cold outside since we are north than most places." and he adjusts his trench coat. "So, are you coming in, or going to stay outside and talk the night away?" he asks as he looks and he blinks. "and where are my manners," and he grins. "Adam Pierson," he states as he introduces himself.[/ul][/blockquote]
