... when it is ripped from one’s hands.
Human. A simple word certainly had multiple meanings... but Impact never expected to be granted with the ability to occupy a body as tangible as one, in its likeness of flesh and blood. And with help from a powerful being, an Asgardian, nevertheless. Thor was the fellow’s name, and the peculiar man thought it would be beneficial for the machine, as it would be a far better way for him to explore cities and towns... rather than having to risk going in as something tiny and vulnerable.
Yet, the event in which he was granted his body happened naught a few days ago. He was thankful! Truly thankful that someone would come out to help him, in disregard of the differences they held. Now, Impact was adjusting to the body, still overwhelmed from the massive amount of new sensations and stimuli. The amount of processing it took for him was just as new. He had been dropped off at San Francisco since he had been granted the form, and was left off to do whatever he pleased... his mind eased at the fact that he made a new ally, and a new friend.
Today, the streets were awfully busy, packed full with... people who were busy headed back to home. The amount of busy energy came off as no big difference to Impact, seeing the similarities between this world and the own Planet that he cared for beneath his fingertips. Ah, but the hustle and bustle was a bit much for him. A mild headache drove the odd, towering man to seek peace within a small coffee shop, stimulated by the scents, the music... and most of all, the soothing atmosphere.
He perched himself by a table next to the window, steel grey eyes dwelled upon the strawberry frappe he purchased out of curiosity. A sip was all he needed to be delighted by the sweet, smooth taste. He could safely say that he loved it here even more.
