OOC: This is open to Henry and anyone who wants to join in. Sitting at a table in the cafe in the town of Storebooke is Steve Rogers. In front of him is a cup of coffee and his head is down, as he works on a picture he is drawing. As he works, he does not really pay any attention to those around him and stops to looks up at the wall than out the window before he goes back to working on the drawing.
Having been in town a few days, since his arrival, he has noticed that most look at him strangely and like they are scared of him, and so he keeps to himself as he just watches and enjoys the way the town is and how it seems to be a simple place to live. Although, he has no idea what the town is about. But he is aware that there is tension in town, as he sees it from people that he sees in their body language.
Lifting the cup to his lips, he takes a drink of the semi warm coffee, and puts it down as he has had worst in his life. Setting the drawing down on the table, he looks out the window as he remembers a different time, a time when the world was at War and how he was in that war, fighting for the United States and taking on the Nazi's in Europe.

Henry walked into Granny’s Diner with his backpack over his shoulder. He was going to grab something to eat before he went off to explore town again. Prince Charming, Snow White, and Emma were trying to get Storybrooke back in order again and he wanted to help. Henry wasn’t one to sit back on the sidelines and just watch things play out. As he went into the diner, he looked around and saw a face he didn’t recognize though. That was new for Henry, he was almost sure he had never seen this man before. For the first ten years of his life before Emma came around, strangers never came to Storybrooke and that was what Henry was still used to.
His nose scrunched up in confusion. Maybe things were different now? Maybe if the curse broke people could come and go from Storybrooke as they pleased, outsiders included. He decided that he wanted to find out. The man didn’t look mean or dangerous. Henry walked over to his table and watched him draw for a minute or two. He wasn’t sure whether he wanted to interrupt at first, but then he decided it would be worth it and cleared his throat to get Steve’s attention.
”Hey! Are you new here?” Henry sounded both confused and excited. He couldn’t wait to tell Emma all about the new person who was hanging around Storybrooke! ”Im pretty sure I’ve never seen you in Storybrooke before. My names Henry, whats yours?” He asked in curiosity.

Blinking out of his memories, he looks up as he is spoken to. "Sorry," he asks as he looks at the voice and sees it is a child. "Yea. Just visiting," he comments as he looks at the boy and thinks, offering a chair for him. "Names Steve, nice to meet you Henry," he says to him as he takes a drink of his coffee.
Smiling, he thinks. "I've been in Storybooke for a few days. Decided to get away from New York City after the Chitauri Invasion and Battle of New York." he comments as he looks out the window, not knowing the secret of Storybooke or anything else. "Would you like a drink?" Steve asks him.

Henry happily sat down when a chair was offered to him. He was not a shy kid by any means, in fact strangers (especially in Storybrooke where they were so rare) always attracted his curiousity. He wondered why Steve was visiting though, and how he found the town. ”Nice to meet you too Steve. Whyd you decide to come to Storybrooke of all places? Most people don’t even know it exists.” he said.
It surprised him that Steve was from New York city and not even another part of Maine. He must have traveled a long way to get there. Henry worried for a minute that his mom might find out about this, and she wouldn’t be happy. She had not treated visitors kindly before. But maybe Regina didn’t know that Steve was here. He would have been more worried about it if he had not been distracted by something else that Steve said. ”The Chitauri Invasion…..did you see it!?” Henry wanted to know. He had only heard stories about that. It would have been so cool if Steve was right in the middle of the action!
”Sure! Ill have apple juice.” Henry said when Steve asked him if he wanted a drink. Henry didn’t have much else to do, and Steve seemed pretty interesting so far. Maybe he would even be able to make a new friend here. Henry just hoped that Steve wouldn’t get too involved in what was going on here in town and end up getting hurt.

he comments as he takes a drink of coffee. "Was pushing my bike towards town when I ran into the Mayor, Regina. She was nice enough to walk with me the five or so miles to town and the gas station." he mentions as he looks. "Other than that, I have been just enjoying how everyone has been polite," he adds as he looks out the window again. Nodding at Henry on the Chitauri Invasion he looks at him. "Yea, I was int he middle of it," he says as he remembers the battle of New York City. He looks and ponders on how to answer this question as he looks at Henry. "I was right in the middle of it. But The Avengers did a majority of the fighting. I just help get people out of the area as best as I could." and he grins. "But it was a very hard battle. I am surprised that no information was sent out to here about the battle. Most of the world knew about it," he comments as he stands and gets a refill on his coffee and gets a cup of apple juice for Henry.[/ul]

(OOC: Hope you don't mind me throwing Bruce in here. I couldn't resist since Henry reads Hulk Comics.)
"Go see the world, Banner," Tony said, "You'll be surprised what's been popping up in the states. Why not go find out where Steve ran off to? Surely you and the Capsicle could use some bonding time. Since y'know, you were green and angry for most of the time you two actually spent a lot of time together...not to mention fighting a war."
That's what brought Bruce to the town of Storybrooke. Tony had loaned him a car after his last visit to Stark Towers, on the terms that Bruce returned the car. Another excuse to get Bruce to spend more quality time with his "Science Bro." Tony had expressed their friendship as a "Broship of Science," hence "Science Bros."
He had agreed with Tony that maybe he should get to know his teammates better, he hadn't exactly spent much time with any of them except Tony. Well, Thor was hard to get ahold of, Natasha and Clint were always out on missions, and Steve was either traveling, training, or adapting to the world. There could be a time where the world would need the Avengers again, so why not bond with his teammates more? It would help glue the team together. That and, the big guy liked the man in blue. He told Hulk to smash.
He asked people around the town if they'd seen anyone that matched Steve's description, which lead him to Granny's Diner. There he saw Steve sitting with a young boy through the window. He cleared his throat as he stared at the door, trying not to look as nervous as he was.
He didn't like being in towns with a lot of people, still fearing something could make him angry and unleash his big green counterpart. He never liked knowing that he could harm others. Or the large sums of money the big guy racked up in property damages. Tony had paid a large amount of money to keep Hulk off the "danger radar" in the States, and Bruce planned to keep it that way for a while.
After a few moments to collect himself, Bruce entered the cafè and gave a smile towards Steve. He tried to keep himself looking as friendly as he possibly could, that and he really did get a good vibe off the Captain. Upon their first meeting, Steve had treated him like a Human being and not a dangerous animal. He respected the man deeply.
"Mr. Rogers, I've been looking for you," He said, but the corrected himself, "Rather, Tony sent me to see what you were up to."
Not that what Steve did was any of Tony's business, but Bruce wasn't really good with the "conversation starter" thing.

Henry gasped before he could stop himself when he heard Steve mention Regina. ”My mom knows you’re here!?” This was really bad, was Henry’s first thought. If Regina knew that Steve was here then she was probably already planning a way to get rid of him. But wait. Steve said that Regina helped him. Why would she do that? ”What is she up to? She never likes it when new people come to town…..” Henry thought aloud. He wondered if Steve knew about the curse. How could someone stay in Storybrooke for very long without knowing about it? Things weren’t so secret around here any more.
Henry didn’t think it would be possible for him to be distracted after hearing something like that, but then Steve started talking about the Chitauri invasion and The Avengers. Henry’s eyes went wide as saucers. Henry had read all about the Avengers in the comics, but he had never gotten a chance to meet the real ones. ”That is so cool!” he exclaimed. ”So you got to see the Avengers! Did you meet any of them?” He couldn’t keep himself from asking the question excitedly. Even if Steve had to put himself in danger’s way to help out, in Henry’s opinion it would definitely be worth it to experience something like that. He shrugged when Steve mentioned being surprised about the news not reaching Storybrooke. ”We don’t really get alot of news from the outside world here. Storybrooke’s kinda….” He trailed off as he wondered how he should explain it.
Before he could finish, another man came into the diner. Henry didn’t recognize him either. What were so many new people doing in Storybrooke at once? Maybe it really was because the curse broke, and now Storybrooke wasn’t so invisible to the outside world anymore. Henry wondered what that would mean for them. He didn’t think it would be good if the whole world found out about a magical town full of fairytale characters. Then theyd get lots of tourists, like this place was Disney World or something, and then his mom might actually hurt someone. But even knowing that, Henry couldn’t help but be excited about meeting so many new people today. He looked up when the man spoke to Steve. ”Oh, you guys know each other? Hi!” Henry said, waving to him.

(OOC: NP Bruce. Unless they say closed, all my threads are open to whoever wants to join.) he says to the man as he stood and offered his hand to him before sitting down at the table. Nodding to Henry, Steve looks at him, "He helped me in New York," he comments as he gestures towards and empty seat, "Please, join us," he said the man who Steve considered a good friend and a very good fighter. "How are you doing sir," he asked him as he looked at Henry. "Henry this is Bruce. Bruce, this is Henry," he said as he introduced the two. "What can I get you to drink Bruce?" he asked him as he stood to get Bruce a drink. Grinning, Steve turned and looked at Bruce, "Yea, sounds like him," he says. "Enjoying a change of pace, and the town here is nice. almost like it was back when I was growing up," he comments as he returns to the table with whatever Bruce wants. "Just enjoying the town, helping the nice lady here at the hotel if she needs it. Thinking on flying over to England to see Peggy," he mentions to the two. "I still ow her a date," he mentions as he looks out the window to the street outside before turning his head back to the two.[/ul]

"I'm doing fine," Bruce replied with a small laugh, "And by fine I mean Tony won't leave me alone until I've had social interaction with the world."
Tony. That man really needed a hobby, well, at least a hobby that got him outside of his lab. The man needed to get out and talk to people rather than sit inside, drink, and work on his suits all day. Maybe he'd have a chat with the man when he went back to return his car.
He was broken out of his train of thought when Steve offered him a drink. "Water is fine, thank you," He said with an added smile. He'd have enough of "exotic" drinks after spending a few days at Stark Towers. Especially after the night Tony tried to get him drunk...he shook the thought away.
He thanked Steve again when he was brought his water. He took a sip before placing the glass down. He laughed at Steve's reply about Tony, and then gave him a surprised look. He'd read Steve's file, which included a few things about his past and it had mentioned a person named Peggy.
He was glad that Steve had decided to try to adapt to this new day and age. It made him happier for the man to visit someone who was important to him. He was sure that word of Captain America reappearing in the world would have reached Peggy in some form of media, even if she was much older than Steve remembered her as.
"I'm sure she'll be happy to see you, Steve," He said.
Bruce then looked to Henry, "So your name is Henry?"

Henry idly fidgeted while he listened to the conversation going on. He didn’t mind if Bruce joined them, he wanted to know more about these strangers. He was content to sit there and drink his apple juice, trying to learn everything he could about them. And that was when something clicked for Henry. Steve called Bruce Dr. Banner. Bruce…Banner. Henry sat up taller in his chair and became especially attentive. Maybe he could have passed it off as a coincidence but Steve had just told him about the Avengers in New York. Could this man be the Hulk? Henry couldn’t believe it, meeting a real life superhero! He just wished he’d brought some of his comics with him for signing.
Then again, that might not be a good idea. Henry wasn’t sure if Steve knew who Bruce was and he didn’t want to blow anyone’s cover here. Secret identities were important after all. Still Henry could barely contain his excitement and was grinning broadly at both of them now, a knowing glint in his eye. ”Yep, Henry Mills. Nice to meet you Dr. Banner!” Henry said when Bruce asked him to confirm his name. He had so many questions he wanted to ask but he wasn’t sure now was the time. It was getting very hard for him to hold his tongue with every passing moment.
”So how long are you guys planning to stick around Storybrooke?” Henry asked and tried to seem like it was only plain curiosity prompting the question. When really, he wanted to know how much time he had to try and get some answers!
