Ranking: Neutral
Reason for being on AM: Looking for a suitable tamer in order to become stronger.
Basic Details
Age: Around 17 human years
Species: Digimon
Personality:
Renee can be described in three words: Secretive, cautious and inquisitive. You will be lucky if you hear her talking about herself, but she will be more than happy to hear about yourself, and your exploits. An attentive listener, she will take every detail in consideration, and remember it to a point of 'quoting' a person's words even several days or weeks after they were said.
Her cautiousness can be noticed in many ways - from how she considers actions to choice of words between people. She would rarely to never approach anyone without a reason, and before approaching, she would observe them for a while from the shadows. She tends to analyse people in order to determine if they're trustworthy or not, and until then her opinion will be perfectly neutral.
It's not exceptionally hard to become Renee's acquaintance, though it would take time and trial to become someone she considers a friend - being ever her cautious self, she picks friends carefully. This is also reason for her inquisitiveness - she would often ask questions to get more insight on a person, and depending on what and how they answer, would determine their trustworthiness.
Becoming an enemy would depend on the situation too, but main reasons on becoming such is to hurt or betray her and her allies - in that case she would hunt the infractor down with notorious relentlessness. Sometimes you can become an enemy even if you didn't do anything to her, yet. Renee might consider you dangerous based on her analysis, and would a attempt to neutralize you ... permanently.
Renee's a bit fixated on gaining more power for herself, becoming stronger, and more capable. She doesn't like weakness in herself or others, and as such, can turn a blind eye on abuse of the weak by the strong. Never the less, sometimes she would interfere, when said weakling shows some guts, or potential. Or whenever she gets the vibe. For same reason, she's generally attracted to strong people, like warriors and the like, people who proved their worth.
She's prone to undertaking mercenary work, shady and otherwise, not much so for the money, but for challenge and possibility to prove her worth. She has no qualms about killing, but doesn't act maliciously about it, viewing it as a job, thus positioning herself firmly in the 'Neutral' alignment.
The fox is somewhat new to the human world, and while some parts seem similar, there are many inner workings and traditions of this new place she doesn't know or understand. This may lead to some awkward moments, but she is willing to learn. Expect a couple of silly questions every once in a while.
Renee also has a few hobbies, aside from working out and training. She enjoys a game of chess as much, if not more, viewing it as 'training of the mind', and has a knack for calligraphy, which is odd, considering it is hard to hold a pen in three fingers.

It has been coming for a long while...
But Renee knew that one day it will come. All these constant failures, handicaps, inability to keep up with the best... It has been towering over her, more and more as time passed. Imperfection was not tolerated in this clan, and it was surprising that she had lasted for such a long while. She felt people believed she would pull through. She let down all these people, and now ... she would have to face the consequences.
It did not make the pain easier, however. Only make it something to be anticipated. Renee was informed of the elders' decision early in the morning, yesterday. She was prescribed to leave the village within 24 hours, and not return until she improved. Many tears have been shed that day, and not all belonged to her. The clan is one big sisterhood, after all. And all of this, all of her past, her family, she had to leave behind. Because of her inability.
The digimon was on the outskirts of her clan's village, giving it one last glance, before she would venture into the world, with nobody to watch her back, and no place to return to. She thought all tears were gone, yet they were still strolling down her eyes. It was a hard thing to suffocate, even though they were taught to suppress emotion. Even now I am failing... I should be stronger... I should have been...
Suddenly, Renee felt a tap on her shoulder, which forced her to turn around. In front of her, she saw another one of her kind, an older Renamon, the one that was her teacher and instructor. The fox wiped her own tears, in order to not disgrace herself more than she already did. The elder fox, however, only nodded to that.
- I came to say good bye, Renee. - she said, and Renee looked down, not able to look up and make an eye contact. It was just ... too hard for her. - Do you understand why the elders were forced to make such a decision?
- Yes... - Renee nodded, still staring at the ground beneath her feet.
- None of the clan was happy about this decision, but we cannot undermine the reputation of our skill with ... underhanded performance. It is hard for me to say this, but ... you're just not good enough. It is my failure too, in a way, I wasn't able to teach you well... - the elder fox looked down as well, sorrow in her voice. Renee blinked, and looked up, amazement in her eyes for a little while, before being replace with sadness again.
- No... no it's not. I had many after you, and not much changed. It's my inability, not your failure, teacher. And ... I trust in the council's wisdom. This journey will make me stronger. And I will make you proud... - Renee said, trying to sound convinced of this fact. The key word being 'try'. The teacher looked at her, and a hint of a smile appeared on her face, her placing a hand on the shoulder of her former student once more. ]
- I know you will. If it was up to me, I would let you remain. I still believe in you Renee. And I will await your return. We all will.
- Then I will return, that is a promise.
A promise that would turn out to be hard to keep...

Powers & Abilities
Abilities:
- Enhanced body abilities - being a digimon, has strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and sight superior to that of an average human. She can easily punch through a thin wall, run at 40 mph, and see in the dark. It would also take more than a few well-placed punches to bring her down.
- Martial artist - Renee is very proficient in close combat, both armed and unarmed. She uses an ortodox combat style which focuses on dodges and rapid movements and blows, fast enough to avoid grappling.
- Stealth - she's adept in hiding and staying unseen.
- Reincarnation - technically cannot die for good, unless her data has been absorbed. In case of death her data returns back to digital world, to be reincarnated as a Reremon. And it would take some time for her to be restored to her former self. Memory losses and prolapses are possible.
Powers:
- Koyousetsu - Fires off multiple shards of energy leaves.
- Kohenkyo - Switches places with the enemy or creates up to two clones of itself. These clones are intangible, don't cast a shadow or make a sound, and disappear after a hit.
- Touhakken - Her fists and feet are coated with ghastly-blue flames, which she can use to punch and kick the enemies, while burning them. The flames are made of spirit fire, and once they catch something ablaze, are very hard to extinguish. Stop-drop-roll won't help.
- Kosengeki - Throws a series of bullet punches at the enemy at a nearly untraceable speed.

Main/Important Equipment
For now, none whatsoever.
Weaknesses
Psychological Flaws...[/sup]
Has a somewhat progressing inferiority complex, which is why doesn't speak of her family, at all. She still loves them though.
Physical Flaws...
While certainly more 'durable' than your average human, she is still susceptible to most things that would harm them, if to a lesser degree. Additionally, having only three fingers prevents her from using most standard-issue firearms. Not that she has any skill with them, mind you.
Other Flaws...
Is somewhat ignorant in using and understanding modern technology.

History....
For as long as she remembers herself, Renee was always a part of a very secretive Renamon clan, which claimed a part of the Digital Forest as its territory. It was an all-female clan as well, where they called each other 'sisters'. Renee was the youngest of them.
The clan was well-known for being a potent and powerful force, each of the clanswomen being a master warrior, proficient in many areas, competent mercenaries and cunning assassins. In time, Renee was supposed to become just like them, and was training rigorously to be fit to the clan's harsh standards.
Unfortunately, those standards proved to be too high. Renee was a capable warrior by any standards, any except theirs. Not strong enough, not agile enough, anything she did was good, but not enough. Lack of success earned her ire of teachers, and mean laughs from other clansfolk. But more importantly, it prevented her from being of any use to the clan.
And one day, this issue was taken farther. Upon her yet another failure to complete a test, an assembly of clan's elders gathered to decide her fate. And it was decided ... to set Renee on a dangerous journey to become stronger ... or perish trying. Either way, she was not allowed to return until she was ready.
This decision was a powerful blow to her - it was hard to abandon everything and everyone she knew in order to pursue such a vague quest. But still, she had to. For several years she scowered across her world, fighting and working as a freelance mercenary. She was getting better now that she had been in touch with reality. But she still felt it was not enough.
Her quest for power took a new turn when she found out that power can be harnessed through an alliance with a creature called 'Human', through process of bonding, after which said human is used as a power battery of sorts... Researching this, Renee understood that the only way to be truly certain of her power ... was to go to Human World...
