The Herald of Yatagarasu

Personality: The Herald of Yatagarasu is, above all else, as mysterious as her patron. An enigmatic woman whose name is lost to all to whom it might concern, the Herald is an supreme devoted woman who has given up her entire life to serve the Yatagarasu. Beyond her function as the Herald, little is known, if she is even alotted that. An extremely strong willed and loyal creature, The Herald, though subservient entirely to the Yatagarasu, possesses a keen wisdom and intelligence, and is quite sound council as would be becoming of one with her station.
History: The ways of the 'Yatagarasu' are as mysterious as they are myriad. Few know, or are even permitted to know the rituals, practices, ceremonies, or rites that a member of that order must or might undertake. This is especally so for the Heralds, the speakers of the divine Yatagarasu who hear that divine beast's words in their very minds, and give it's orders to the rest of it's subjects. The Heralds dispatch their own names, much like one of the Four Great Summoners do, and live forever more as a 'Herald'. This particular one has been assigned to Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, the latest in the 'Raidou' line of summoners, and has assisted him on more occasions than one could count. Any other details beyond that however, remain a mystery.

Powers/Abilities:
The Power of Yatagarasu: The Herald is spiritually intune with the world around her, perhaps even more so than Raidou. She's been shown to possess far greater spiritual knowledge than the young summoner, and is capable of preforming some magic. In addition, the Herald has access to a wide variety of holy artifacts and tools, as well as, naturally, direct contact with the sacred Yatagarasu.

Raidou Kuzunoha XIV: The Herald of Yatagarasu personally delivers orders to Raidou Kuzunoha XIV. This factor alone makes her and her organization extremely unwise to anger.

Weaknesses:
Mysterious Ways: The Herald is a highly enigmatic character, and at times seems impossible to understand until after an event has occured. Her methods of being vague, as well as being completely tied to the Yatagarasu make her somewhat obtuse, hard to relate to or understand, and possibly controllable-- though that much is pure optimism for even the most powerful of beings. In addition, it's unclear if the Herald possesses any combat abilities herself, and if one can get past the plethera of spiritual barriers, as well as Raidou Kuzunoha, then she should not be too difficult to kill.
