Name: K-9
Alias: None
Age: Recently created.
Archetype: Hero.

Personality: K-9's behavior is not like any dog you might have known - probably because K-9 is not at all an average dog. He may have a pun name and a dog-like body, but this robot is a repository of knowledge. K-9 is completely obedient to his master, the Doctor. In that respect, he is much like a well-trained dog - he does whatever the Doctor says without question. However, unlike any dog, K-9 is very formal and polite, though he has proven to be somewhat condescending at times. Indeed, he is a Time Lord's best friend.

History: The K-9 units have a long history with the Doctor, but this one in particular was just recently made. The Doctor, realizing that he still had the blueprints of a K-9 Unit and all the necessary pieces to make one much like the one he made for Sarah Jane Smith, created a new one for himself. He thought he could use the help... and perhaps someone to talk to when his companion is doing things with he Evil Queen best friend.

Powers/Abilities:

• Laser: A powerful laser that can cut through pretty much any metal and injure foes. It seems to use heat, as it was able to ignite an explosive liquid to blow something up. The laser comes in short bursts or a single long burst. The laser also has a stun function, which is used more since the Doctor is definitely not combative.
  
  
• Teleportation: K-9 has a teleport function that allows him to go anywhere he needs to. Much like a TARDIS' teleportation function, K-9 simply dematerializes and materializes where he wants to be. However, unlike a TARDIS, he cannot travel through time.
  
  
• Knowledge: K-9 has a very advanced knowledge of most everything in the universe. All the Doctor needs to do is ask a question and K-9 will scan every database he can find and give the Doctor an answer.
  

Weaknesses:

• Not indestructible: K-9, though he is made out of metal, can be destroyed with a strong enough blow. In fact, many K-9 units have been destroyed before.
