Megan loved birds. Truly. Birds birds birds. It was one of the things that got her to go outside, in fact, so Nan didn't mind going to the store now and again for grain and fruit to fill the birdfeeder. It was... something of a daily ritual. The stand was new... only a few birds - mostly pigeons - came to partake of the great banquet, but every day it was refilled and every day, early in the morning, Megan would sit on her balcony and... watch, draw, silent as anything and nearly statuelike in her stillness. It was bird time, a special hour or two of the day.
And so today she sat again, completely ignoring the cup of tea Nan had made for her (she traditionally did, at least until it was cold) in favor of hunching over her sketchpad, breath condensing into mist as her pencil flew across her pad, the tap-tap-tapping of it the only sound beyond the wind and the street far, far below.

Jenna was off on her own she had wandered out again on her own, it was hard for her to stay in one place esspecially when you grow used to traveling and having things relatively anyway you want provided you were strong enough to fight for it. Jenny was sitting on an old flag pole as a red hawk.
It was one of her favorite forms you can't beat perfect eyesight, nor the feeling of flight. It was her favorite feeling in the world being able to soar above the world away from all the problems, complications and stupidity of the human world.
Jenny didn't have a problem with humans, but if they could only imagine what she had been able to do over the last few years it would make most human devices feel well like devices.
She tilted her head slightly as she noticed the feeder for the first time, or at least seriously looked at it. It had been a while since she had seen trish and got that meal she had wanted. She ruffled her feathers with excitement.
The bird instincts in her wanted to scream in disgust and go after the birds around the feeder. The not so human but human like part of her was hugry for anything that you didn't have to kill and eat raw. Although there were times when you just closed your mind's eye and let the animal run wild.
This wasn't one of those cases she wanted fruit and she thought she could even see some grains. She spread her wings and dove off the flag pole, the updrafts from the buildings catching her wings and sending her into the air. She circled the air a few times doing wide circles to enjoy the sensation of flight.
Then she folded them and dove, the rush of air along her face feathers as she folded her body tight, eventually turning into something akin to a feathered bullet. She kept her focus on the feeder her mind so focused on her target that she was shutting out everything.
Thats not a position you want to be in durring a 300mph dive she suddenly realized she should of spread her wings and pulled up. However its hard to stop once you turn your body into a bullet. She spread her wings and tried to pull up. Instead of doing a nice gental arc into the air.
She ran strait head long into the feeder, knocked herself out and as she fell back wards her legs got caught in the small perches on the feeder meant for smaller birds like robbins, or pigeons. She ended up hanging upside down her legs somehow catching into the plastic, one of her outstretched wings tangling into the wires after the impact and her eyes going completely swirly eyes as she was no longer conscious.

THUD
Megan yelped in surprise and immediately lost balance, flailing and falling backward when her serene little feeder was PWNED by a big red falcon, smashing the walls off and sending the roof flying in the process, leaving only the big bowl and its stand, rattling slightly with a noise similar to how a ruler sounds when braced on a desk and plunked.
Tenetively, Megan peeped up from behind her own knees and blinked innocently at the danglebird. It didn't take her long at all to sit up and blink! A bird! A.... a big bird! This was no raven or pigeon! It was... it was truly beautiful, a creature of beautiful reds and golds, the patterns of its wings and plumage making the girl gasp softly.
With reverence, the pale, wild whiskey-haired girl scooped up the bird, thinking nothing of its impressive talons and sharp beak. She loved birds so much - to see this one so close, to... to touch it! It was incredible, and she started to breathe hard, eyes wide, but her grasp extremely gentle, like Jenna was made of paper thin porcelain. Her sketchbook was retrieved, and she went inside, forgetting the door as she entered the flat.
Nan was out, so that just left... a cushion! A big pink one, fluffy and soft, upon which she placed the bird-girl with the utmost tender care. So pretty... She began to sketch, eyes darting up and over the feathers, over her build - a female bird, a peregrine falcon... but a red one? She'd seen these falcons only at the zoo. One so gorgeously and vividly... vivid! RED! A Red falcon! Her breathing only picked up in pace, excitement making her hands shake - she giggled despite herself, and reached out, gently petting one of the plumes adoringly.

Jenny was unciouncious the whole time after being picked up and set onto the cushion. She stayed like that her mind blissfully blank after its crash into the plastic bird feeder wall. She lay there peacefully and blissfully unaware of meagen. Her leg twitched every now and then as she was resting on the pillow.
Suddenly the bird sneezed, and there was a suddenly a big wolf laying where the bird had been. It gave a strange growling sound, that seemed to be coming from the stomach. It shifted and rolled onto its belly and laid there curled up on the pillow its tail swishing around every now and then.
Again the wolf was the same kind of red in fur coloration, it was a dark redish color with black mixed into it. Her belly and other markings were white, and she was big if this wolf were to stand up she would be about 6ft in height. The tail wagged gently as the wolf slept although the strange gurgling growl came from the wolf's stomach as it slept.

When the bird became a growlie-stomached wolf, Megan actually stopped and looked up in time to see the last of the transformation complete itself and see the fur set in properly. Her big, blank green eyes gave a long, slow blink. Well that wasnt normal... but neither was a big red falcon. With no change in her blank expression whatsoever, the girl fished about in her workspace (where she'd placed the cushion) and found something - a beautiful pink and white carnival mask of metal and glass jewels and placed it into her lap. After that, she saw no reason to stop drawing, only to flip to a new page and start documenting the patterns and form of the wolf!
Interestingly, the wolf seemed to have a similar... something about it, the same sort of patterns in its coat as the bird had in its feathers, leaving Meg to speculate as to the nature of her strange guest. She didn't get much experience around canines - Fa hated dogs, so she was never allowed to have one in case he visited, but this wasn't a dog, right? It was a birdwolfiething! Shapeshifting... this was a really beautiful creature.

The wolf slept for another few minutes before it opened its eyes blearily and blinked, there seemed to be some intelligence alot of intelligence in its gaze. It gave megan a strange confused expression tilting its head at her and merphing to itself as if to say "what the???" it looked arouned the room and seemed to be taking a few seconds to glance at its surroundings and take stock of itself.
It stood up and then sat down a moment later as if still stunned from the impact, it shook its head and began scratching its ears oddly.
The way it seemed to be scratching at its ear was with the front paw instead of the hindlegs. An even odder thing was it actually seemed to be able to do so, despite it looking very awkward. It did this for a whole minute before stopping as if realizing this wasn't the way it should be scratching its ears around another person.
It tried to cover its mistake but it was a bit late as it scratched its ear like a proper wolf. The human inside jenny HATED having to deal with one part of being a canine. THE FLEAS!!!! She HATED INSECTS!!!!!!
