{PSSST! IF YOU WANT TO JOIN, ASK WAFFLEZ. I'm indifferent about who joins this MADNESS, so inquire with him if you will C: !) Get out of one hell hole and land in the next, that's what it sure as hell felt like! Nona was walking along down the streets of Raccoon City after the plane landed. It was kinda weird how they didn't have any `red eye` flights, but this place sounded kinda harmless. It was named after an animal for crying out loud. A fluffy critter with button eyes and occasionally rabies. The rabies part wasn't important, the main focus of everything is that they were cute and cuddly looking. It seems stupid to name a dangerous city after something she wouldn't mind calling her pet.
Thing is, she found out WHY they stopped having flights come in before nightfall. In the day, everything seemed normal as could be. However, as evening came they were securing this place as if it were under major lock down or something. Sure, she got a heads up to come back to the hotel at a certain time...but did she listen? Not enough to be there right now because as her luck would have it she got drunk and passed out in a sports store dumpster. A bunch of groaning and screams woke the woman up completely sober much to her dismay. Peering out of the dumpster to see what was going on allowed her to see that someone was getting ripped to shreds.
Not like someone getting shoved in a wood chipper. THAT would have actually been a less grotesque sight than what her eyes were seeing. Three people were ripping a young couple up with their teeth and snacking away. Cringing and wrinkling her nose a bit, she figured they were probably cannibals or something messed up like that. The streets weren't full of these deteriorating weirdos, mind you. Looked more or less like a group of ten or so scattered about. So far, she was safe...pretty well hidden too.
At least for now...the plan right now wasn't to save a couple of people who were already screwed. No way! There were better things to do. Picking up a metal bat with a grin...she'd need something for when her ammunition was low or out...this would be it. Shoving the bat into a rather large bag she used to cover herself with during her drunk nap. Slinging the large bag that carried the few belongings Nona opted to bring over her shoulders, footsteps were headed in her direction followed with groans. Jumping out of the dumpster with a smirk, she saw they gave up on their current meal...had their fill...now they wanted to see if there was dessert on the menu. White eyed freaks with bloodied up, deteriorating flesh running over in her direction and she was SURE they didn't want a hug.
For a bunch of corpse looking things that could move, they were kinda fast. Right now, she only had about three to deal with. Reaching into her pocket, the woman riddled in scars pulled what appeared to be a flip lighter out of her pocket. Whipping open the metallic lid revealed it looked a bit normal...not quite when it came to a weird gear looking thing inside attacked to what looked like a metal track ball. Quickly motioning her thumb toward the metallic ball with a flick and push, it caused a burst of fire about three feet in length and one foot in height. Angling it diagonally, she managed to get all of them on fire...but...not completely stop them? "Nona ya wanna die like that or something?"
Snapping that out with witty remark, started up by a lame pun she couldn't HELP but find humorous while closing up the lid, sliding it back in her short shorts...moments before charging at them. Was she CRAZY?! Maybe a little...but she duck and rolled between their legs only to charge off toward a more secluded area and HOPE for the best. What bundle of zombies which were around were scattered...so while her thoughts were running crazy trying to figure out solutions and proper weapons...it was starting to come down to smashing their heads in with the baseball bat. Glancing over her shoulder as her feet slammed into the faces of the devoured couple followed by squishy...yet crunchy sounds thanks to how she wasn't paying attention to the path ahead in that moment. "Ah jeeze, sorry 'bout that...but...what the hell are the three stooges doing...?" Puzzled as could be, she stopped a few feet away and let those blackened eyes centered by silvery white pupils stare off into the distance.
They weren't chasing her anymore...nope....the flaming trio was after something else...? "Oh I get it, my flesh isn't good enough for ya cheeky bastards....well fu-...huh?" ...a small body in the distance is what it looked like to the weapons maker...this place was messed up! But if her eyes weren't decieving her, she was going to rush off to the rescue.

She had no idea's of the dangers that the city posed at night. All Narret knew was that this city was one of the many she had yet to see, yet to search for her goal. She had arrived during the twilight hours on foot. At the time that everyone was getting inside and hiding for their lives, everyone was more concerned about themselves then some homeless looking child.
And once the sun had set, the monsters came.
At first the child had been confused at the shambling people, why were they walking about with so much damage, And why were they groaning. Then they had taken a swipe at the child and she sped away
Nona's eyes were not deceiving her, for there was indeed a small body off in the distance from where she stood A small child, no more then four feet tall, was running for her life in the hellhole that was Raccoon City.
Her small size gave her an advantage against the monsters that chased her. Being able to dart between their rotting legs to avoid capture, and the fate of those who's bodies littered the streets around her. The small child's screams for help only seemed to egg the shambling monsters on, pulling them from their earned meals for a shot at the fresh meat.
Bolting around a corner, hoping for a route of escape only to be faced with a dead end. With no where to hide, the child desperately looked for a place to run. Hope filled Narrets amber eyes as she saw a fire escape ladder, her small frame bolting up the steel ladder and pulling them up behind her before the creatures below could grasp it. With a small smile the child turned her head, only for fear to engulf her face. The next few flights of the fire escape were gone, probably removed by the residents of the city not wanting zombies getting up. With no where to escape to, and the zombie horde below slowly growing into a pile to reach at her. All the child could do was fall back against the wall, tears of fear falling from her eyes as she let out a yell.
"P-p-p-please...... s-s-someone..... H-h-help me....... A-a-anyone..... Please! H-H-help me!"

Getting a closer look at the shiny new target, she blinked a few times and reached into her bag for that zombie smackin' stick version one....or...you know...a baseball bat. The little child was seen escaping as best as she could. Grasping onto the handle and pulled it up before rushing off after the little undead group. Sure, she was a heavy lifter, but she could only move so fast and was surprised that these fleshy freaks of nature were so obsessed with veal. Really, kids were almost like the easiest catch in the world when they were unarmed and some even ditched their meals to chase her...probably because the poor thing was screaming. Closing in the space between herself and the horde, she swung her SMACKIN' STICK right at the back of a zombie's head with great force causing it to rip off its neck and crash into the wall. One down...and...a bunch more to go!
Swinging repeatedly as though she was surrounded by BEES or something. Stopping just a bit away from where the fire escape was, all the messy haired woman had done is get rid of the stragglers. The GROUP had yet to be dealt with. This was really dumb, she made a HUGE commotion and STILL YET they were stuck on the veal! At least they were kinda distracted. So what did she do? WELL. Since the whole lot of them were TOO STUPID to climb up a ladder, Nona flashed a smile and thumbs up to the freaked out child.
Yes, real smooth of her to quietly say ``GOOD JOB, ZOMBIE BAIT! SAVE YA IN A BIT~!`` Setting the bat back in her bag, she whipped it off her back and reached in for two machetes and a medium sized weed whacker among a few other supplies like chains...the other stuff seemed like they were meant for securing things in place. It looked a little different though...like it was MEANT to hold the handles of the machetes juuuust right. Just as she was about to attach the first one, a zombie's groaning was closing in behind her. WHAT OH WHAT was Nona going to do?! Turn around and mutter out "Hey assmunch, I'm trying to work. Shaddap..." in a low tone....it looked more normal, so kinda like someone who woke up and didn't have their coffee with a huge bite mark on their neck.
This bugger SCREECHED like the dickens and charged at her...crazy eyes like `I'M GOING TO EAT YOU!` so what did Nona do THIS time? Set down the weed whacker and motion at it to `Come at me, bro`. Lifting her arm, she waited for it....aaaand....waited for it....then swung hard enough to cut its face in half with numerous chops. Though, while she was distracted by that, the undead cheer leader squad were piling up and getting closer AND CLOSER to Narret! With a look of `oh crap` on her face, she turned her head to the zombie and wagged her bloodied up machete at it while muttering, "If any of them bite her, I'm blaming you for being an attention whore...!" OKAY! Enough fooling around! Securing and locking the machetes in place, there were two open gaps for the chains she whipped out and grinned like a mad scientist after bringing something back to life. Putting the bag back on, sliver centered onyx optics glanced over to the flaming stooges and their squad of idiotic pals.
"REALLY? You're all interested in feasting on a kid?! Where's the variety in that, huh?" Picking up her heavily modified weed whacker of death and doom, she revved it up with an almost crazed look in her eyes. This is what she was experimented on for...and this was one of the select times she'd ENJOY it too! "C'mon!" Charging forward, it seemed like a couple of the zombie party members were getting up to the innocent little girl from the top of the undead pyramid. The nasty thing just gripped onto the safety rail all while the unorthodox heroine of the moment was going at the slicing and dicing zombie game with something that REALLY shouldn't be allowed to exist for the ones who answered her call.
That didn't mean the girl was fully safe just yet cause even though she was mowing them down with her contraption and causing body parts to fly all over the place. The horde for Ms. Project 23 was going at a steady enough pace for her to handle, but at the moment she couldn't do anything about those zombies trying to pull themselves up to that poor white haired girl with the golden eyes! Not just yet anyway....oh complications...always making things...complicated.

The silver haired child had almost given up hope of surviving, these things were relentless. A never ending horde of shambling bodies that wanted her to meet the same fate as they had.
But then she came.
Her rescuer was odd, from her perspective at least. The older woman was plowing through the walking dead like a plasma knife would cut warm butter. But however for every one that she ended, two more replaced it. Even with the massive spinning blender of death at her disposal she couldn't stop all of them. The ones that were bellow had finally gotten a hold on the raised ladder, growing ever closer to their fresh meal. The small child shuffled back further away from the encroaching mass of bodies, but there was no where left to escape to. She was doomed.
The child curled into a ball and held her arms tight around herself, closing her eyes tight so that she did not have to see the fate that await her. As she let out whimper, her body seemed to glow, just for a moment.
The sudden sound of screaming metal and groaning structure from above halted the advance of the creatures that had been about to make the silver haired child a part of their balanced breakfast. The six flights of escape ladder above were shaking, no, they were warping away from the building. Moving with some unknown force guiding them. The connected mass of metal began to twist and writhe into a form. Most of the mass collecting into a ball, while the poles that made up the ladders themselves began to bend and warp into long insectoid legs. The central mass had no real defining features, except for two rather large mandibles ending with rusted metal spikes. The metal form finally solidified, and with a metal screech the thing had taken the form of a metallic spider. The mass of moving metal surged downwards towards the horde, who would have begun ignoring it and focusing back on their meal at hand if not for the fact that it forced them all back down to the ground.
The mandibles the metal spider sported were not for eating, but more for tearing as made evident by the way it separated the torso of one of the more rotten undead from the rest of it's body. The thing lashed out and eviscerated any thing that came withing fifteen feet of the girl, but it did not move away. Not with the shambling wall of flesh keeping it busy.

The commotion down below, screaming and the whirring grinding sound of machines, undead groans that echoed through the air like a nightmarish dirge it woke something up, a girl as pale as alabaster that looked down, red eyes dull as blood as she felt her stomach rumble as a faint whisper escaped her lips. "Hungry already? At least they brought out the main course." She leaned forward, dove into a free fall her body slamming into the ground like a cannon ball as dust rose up into the air like the flaming plume from a fiery explosion. It was enough to cause the undead to stop their assault for a brief moment to look towards the dust, the debris, as it floated into the air as a large hand shot out, fingers hooked like bladed talons, metallic in appearance but entire organic and hooked into one of the corpses, rending it from stem to stern, fetid organs spilling across the ground as she moved into the next one, a blue of black and pale white. Those clawed arms appearing skeletal and porous; giving a notion of frailty and impossible brittleness as if those arms weren't suited for the hacking brutality she was now inflicting upon the hordes of monsters before her.
But that was....not the strangest thing, every time she passed those claws through them, every time she cut into them, rent their flesh, a tail of black slime like an alien membrane flowed from her body, catching the fallen zombies and enveloping them in it's all consuming expanse. She was like a living meat grinder, ripping bodies apart as she moved, this eighteen year old girl, wearing naught but a bra and panties, sporting heavy scarring across her torso and arms, a road map of torture and experiments, was tearing her way through these things like a fat man at an all you can eat buffet.
She only stopped to stare at the giant metallic spider, head tilting to the side as she caught hold of a zombie by the head, crushing it with sheer downward force and pressure. It was a new target, not something she could absorb and devour, but something to destroy and slowly she flexed those bladed talons, flexed those razor sharp metal shredding, flesh rending claws and walked towards it and the remnants of the undead horde, arms bulking up slightly, legs going tense with added muscle and still she dragged that tail behind her, pulsing and throbbing as it broke down the zombies, absorbing their collective mass into her own body.
She was gonna have to ask these two what that was later....and maybe find a pair of pants, Or a small dress given that she was going to change back, let her innocent personality back out. But first, she had to remove all dangers in the immediate vicinity, that spider was most certainly.....dangerous.

Slicing things every which way to Sunday and then some causing parts to fly around and about like fleshy rain. Thing was, she could NOT keep up with this forever...she wasn't meant to be a front liner in any kind of war. Just the weapons maker who could hold her own against a small mob...maybe buy time for others...but this?! Project 23 was pushing her luck to no end. There was even more showing up, it was almost unending and they were so damn interested in that one child. Letting out a heavy "Woooo...!" Since it was better to do that than sigh.
One of the bodies got twisted, mangled and entangled in her spiny blades of doom and she swung it around as though she was trying to swat flies. Smacking her undead peers around in the process, she snapped out with sheer annoyance, "Oh COME ON!" FINALLY getting her machete and chain-go-round working again...black optics centered by silver rings gazed up toward the child she was working oh so hard to save...and...the kid was glowing. Glowing, okay. Now Nona had seen a lot of messed up things like violence and machines that shouldn't exist...but glowing...children...THIS was new. A large frown spread across her lips while quirking a brow and wondered if the kiddo was going to explode or something. That's what glowing things normally do at one point or another....explode.
Uh...close....it seemed soon after the glowing happened, a metal spider thing was being made. Normally she'd be thinking this is REALLY neat...but it was starting to attack. That wasn't all, folks! Being in the cluster, she unintentionally made herself a target in a way since this thing was just ATTACKING. But was she going to run away? Hell no! Though she did make a wee bit of safety distance between herself and the spider thing while thinking things over in her head. Which pathway to take...she HAD TO get to the kid and help her outta this hell hole!
About to start weaving through...a...young adult who didn't look quite normal zoomed up and started slashing things up. The girl was just in underwear too....what was with this day? Sure, Nona wasn't wearing the most covering outfit in the world, but she had at least a shirt, shorts, and shoes on. Oh whatever, they seemed to have a similar objective. So for now, she'd work with the girl wearing barely anything and would offer the shirt offa her back later. Right now wasn't the time though! Thoughts started swarming her head, instructions on bomb making...but no no no she had to ignore them.
Gritting her teeth as she looked for an open path to the child...it seemed like the spider was protecting her for now. How long would it last though? After a moment of gazing about, there wasn't really a pathway...so she'd just have to make one and stay the hell out of the spider thing's war path! GREAT. Once again, she darted forward in a race toward the child so she could try and get her to somewhere safer than this. Among the things actually trying to claw at her ever now and then, the meat craving creatures were met with whirring blades to the face. Goodness GRACIOUS! This was crazy...!

The metal arachnid continued to tear the zombies asunder, even as the walking dead were no longer approaching it with the other two women cutting their numbers down. It simply began to rip the now dead zombies that had piled up near it. Its metallic body beginning to shine in the moonlight from the coagulated blood and gore that it was now bathed in. Even as the the assault of zombies ended, the spider continued to rip and rend it's own pile. Ensuring that those that it had killed were reduced to a fine gory mess. But as it ran out of things to tear apart, what passed for it's 'eyes' began to glance at the two that had been killing the walking dead along with it.
It's eyes then locked on the odd one, the one that seemed to be eating the dead and not just killing them. But as it let out an ear splitting metallic shriek from it's metal mandibles and readied itself to strike, the glow that surrounded both it and the small child up above began to fade. And with the fading light, the creatures body slowly began to fall apart, whatever life the strange glow had given it now waning. Even with it's body failing it, and as parts fell from it's glistening gore covered frame, it charged forth at the one that consumed. Abdomen, leg, mandible, another leg, as the pieces fell it grew closer and closer. Only mere feet away from reaching it's goal did the last of the legs fall away from the main body. Leaving only the midsection and head. As the last of the light in it's eyes faded away, it let out one last metal shriek that faded away in the night.
What had once been a mechanization of slaughter was now a trail of scrap. And the small child up above was still curled up in a ball, safe.
For now.
