Walking along the street wearing a short tan jacket with ribbons at the sleeves over a nice purple dress that went a few inches above her knees which had a cute little black sash under her bust tied into a ribbon at the side. It seemed like just a normal ol' outfit, even her necklace that had a few musical note charms upon it...despite the secret it held. Of course...she had some things that almost didn't go with the outfit perfectly such as her black fingerless gloves and a pair of knee high boots inspired by pumps. Both of which had musical notes running along the sides. The seventeen year old with way too many jobs, including this one, had to go to some opera house and preform there...or help...but after making a friendly acquaintance, it seemed like a good idea to start getting into the news a little more. There were lots of things going on in the world, both good and bad...it could definitely help with her big goal of creating universal harmony! Which tied into why her gig was completely canceled...something about a haunting and renovations.
Holding onto her duffel bag which contained some important little things...she figured this trip shouldn't be a complete loss. Money was needed for her survival and these guys owed her money for the lost opportunity in earning some cash the legal way. So now it was time to return the favor and force them to make up for it! These guys catered to a lot of fancy pants and hoity toity sorts with lots of money, they'd easily get all of their lost funds. No skin off of their rich noses. Besides, it would be a piece of cake to steal from these folks. The security system was offline for the repairmen to come in at their own will, which worked out handsomely for her.
Next, the key, she didn't need one with her ocarina! Getting to the back entrance, she set down the back with a smirk and slightly moved the bangs her now dark red locks with black highlights over her eye centered with a musical note so that only the one with an emerald green contact lens was revealed before tying the rest of her tendrils into a nice little pony tail. Crouching down, she rummaged into the bag and was about to get the door open with the trait her ocarina held...but...it slowly opened on its own. "...well that's a little too convenient." Muttering those words with a slightly confused look upon her face, she didn't know whether this was good or bad. Unzipping the bag, the musical alien teenager pulled out her electric guitar which was designed to look like a demon complete with wings. Next to it was her bass guitar that had a more angelic design to it.
Slinging the strap over her shoulder and positioning it in the front, she then grabbed onto the duffel bag and made her way inside. It was crucial to be careful...so she kept an ear out and listened in for any hints of warning including footsteps AND OF COURSE....she was going to close the door but WOULDN'T KNOW IT! Damn thing closed itself. Keeping her cool...she didn't let it bother her and saw it more as a convenience than a spook. Now...where was their safe...? This freaking place was HUGE...and so very fancy too like an upper class opera house should be. Admittedly...it had a haunted feel to it since most of the lights were off...almost made her wish she wasn't alone in this place.
That was fine and dandy though! Fortunately, she wasn't really used to having friends since her life was so busy and hectic most of the time...so this was normal! Plus, she knew everyone who could best resemble friends were usually busy with their own thing. So yeah! Normal in her book...kinda...oh well! Plus, if she had to defend herself, the musical instruments in her bag would be fine if she had to drop it since she made them to be far more durable since she used them in combat thus, harder to break!

This Gotham City was far away from France, and far away from anywhere Erik was familiar with. That being said, Erik was not familiar with even all of France, only the surrounding area of the opera house. The strange warp that had brought Erik to the future had placed him far away from anywhere he was used to, making for a very unaccommodating situation. The Phantom brushed off his suit as he stepped out of the alleyway he'd landed in and glanced around. A few people were staring at him in confusion. The Opera Ghost reached for a few of his flame packets until one of them spoke up.
"Is that of o' them... super heroes?"
Erik glared at the man, relinquishing hold of the fire packet. With a swoop of his pitch black cape, Erik turned and started to walk down the street. As he made his way down the street, he picked up on a conversation between two girls talking about how they'd been bored by the show at "Gotham Opera House". Erik's interest was piqued. With new purpose, Erik continued down the streets until coming across a pamphlet on the ground. Through some stroke of bizarre luck, it was a map of Gotham City.
Enough wandering about while attempting to follow the map led Erik directly to the opera house. The Phantom smirked, surveying the area around. There was very little to admire on the outside. He could only hope the inside was as extravagant as his opera house had been. It only took a small bit of lockpicking to get into the opera house. It was a simple lock, one that Erik could easily pick.
The inside was as he had expected it to be. Extravagant and beautiful, just as any opera house should be. One of the first things he noticed was the large organ sitting against a wall. The Phantom slowly walked towards it. He ran a hand along the keys before sitting down at the bench in front of the piano and starting to play.... Until he heard someone entering. Erik's eyes narrowed as he stood and turned around. A teenage girl was entering the opera house.
"Get out!" Erik shouted, throwing a flame packet to the ground. The packet exploded into flames, revealing Erik to her.

Deeper and deeper, the teenager who appeared to look like just about anyone else on the street explored. Where the hell was that safe? Once she busted that stupid piece of crap open, she could be out of here and secure a hefty payment for the researcher looking into her cure. This place was nice though....it was a shame she couldn't get the money fair and square...but that's that! Of course, in mid stride, the girl with red locks heard something and stopped abruptly....the place was filled with the lovely tunes of a piano now? Ok...she was DEFINITELY not alone! Rushing toward the sound, it was best to get rid of obstacles rather than dance around them for cases like these.
Not always resulting in death, that was something she wasn't always up to doing and would MUCH rather avoid like the plague. Rather, mess the obstacle up with some musical ability and progress forward. Unless said obstacle was going to screw up her idea of global harmony...then they could consider themselves as good as dead. This wasn't the case though! Of course, she was a bit shocked when a masculine voice yelled at her to get out as if it had the authority. When the flame packet was thrown, she instinctively took a few steps back and shielded herself a bit with the guitar. Lowering her musical instrument ever so slightly, she saw...some guy in a half mask, snazzy suit, cape, and to finish it all a hat to boot.
"...you're definitely not the owner. He's got way more weight to him." Mumbling those words while blinking a couple more times as though she half expected to be caught by the actual owner or something. A pinch bit surprised, she smiled a bit and chuckled and couldn't help but speak in a positively mellow tone. "Nice theatrics and I'm not gonna lie, you play a good piano tune too! But I can't comply, not yet anyway." Smiling kindly to the man after letting those words pass her lips, she began tuning her guitar.
Prepping it juuuust in case she actually had to get on the offensive. "In fact! If you help me, I can leave sooner. Fair enough, right?" Keeping her cool, even though she was REALLY miffed at the fact that someone was trying to bark orders at her let alone getting in her way. One chance to step down, it was gracious enough considering how important this heist was. What she wasn't going to announce is she had no qualms about smacking him around like a hockey puck if he denied her oh so very kind offer.
Keeping herself prepared and ready, prepping to react if he wanted to be the one to start violence today. Just because she looked fairly normal didn't mean she was oh so easy to handle...and she CERTAINLY didn't have a lot of patience to spare this time. NO ONE GETS IN THE WAY OF HER MONEY WITH ZERO CONSEQUENCES!

Looking over the girl, Erik first took note of the instrument in her hand. The Opera Ghost was intrigued... the style of guitar was strange to him. It seemed to look as though it needed something to power it - without being hollow there was no way it would be able to provide it's own sound. Taking his glance away from the instrument, Erik was surprised at her words. She was neither surprised nor scared of him as everyone at his former opera house had been. Reaching for his Punjab Lasso, Erik considered just killing her here.
Raising an eyebrow, Erik considered her offer. She hadn't clarified what she needed help with... It was likely not a good idea going with her. At any rate, the less time he had to spend with people invading his opera house. However... she hadn't done anything truly wrong. He'd probably been foolish to play the organ out in the open. It was his own fault she'd noticed him. Erik decided to go with her - if only to get her out of his opera house as quickly as possible, hopefully never to return.
"...I will go with you." Erik said, a slight reluctance to his usually powerful voice. "But only depending on what it is you need help with." It was wise to add that bit to the end - if she was doing something particularly bad {such as robbing the opera house} he would certainly not go with her. Instead, the law would have to find her body in the lake...

This guy had some neat tricks up his sleeves too so she had to be as careful as she could be around him. He even seemed a bit wary of her which she couldn't blame him for. However, just the mere chance he'd help her was enough to put forth some sort of effort! "I won't beat around the bush since I'm pressed for time, I need to find the safe and take the small sum of money they owe me. I was supposed to play here but they closed down for renovations, which looks more and more like a huge load of lies to me, and I need that money. They canceled on me at the last minute...I didn't have time to make up for the lost funds. It's not like I want to wipe the vault clean, I just want a fraction of what's supposed to be mine anyway at the very least. Then I'll be right on out of here..."
Sincere in her words, she did look and sound a bit distressed...even a bit troubled over this little mess. The amount of money she was going to send toward Phin wasn't a whole lot since it was mostly from her other jobs. With how `little` it was in comparison to how much she normally sent...she really didn't know how the greedy scientist was going to take it. Absolutely last thing she needed was to lose her chance at survival to some stupid paper and coin currency! The red head with black streaks in her hair adjusted the duffel bag, lightly patting it with a slight smile that almost seemed a little pained.
"I work hard, really hard because that money's going toward finding my cure. I hired a real pricey scientist to do what the doctors haven't been able to do for years. Enough of those dramatics though," slightly waving her hand dismissively, her tone seemed a bit more hopeful as she looked toward him and continued speaking, "I'd rather work with you than against you to be blunt, you've got some good harmony going for you and I want the world to have more of that. So what do you say? Help me and in turn I'll help you? Whether you just want me to leave as soon as possible or even help fix this place up before I go?" Giving him a hopeful look, that visible green optic seemed to be pleading for a little bit of help with this little adventure.
REALLY the last thing she wanted to do was make an enemy, but hey...she gave him a choice and would be fair. Unlike some people who were desperate for money, she tried to remain a bit civil and offer a chance or two before jumping to ANY form of violence. If he wanted to be a jerk then he'd have to get treated like an obstacle and she didn't like those...not one bit...

His lips split wide into a knowing smirk as he stared at the opera house sitting juuuuuust across the street. it had been closed for renovations and on count of hauntings. Both of which were, of course, his own doing. Indirectly, at any rate. A few lines of verse and he'd had a nice little group to wreak a little havoc after it had closed one night in a subtle enough way that it wouldn't be immediately obvious. And as for the hauntings? Well that was the easy part!
In a town like good old Gotham, where people were so superstitious because of the supernatural rumors of dear ol' Batman, it just took a few well-placed tricks and traps to have the entire thing screened as merely "haunted".
Letting loose a knowing cackle, the malicious maestro checked his watch. "Soon.....soon all will be right for my next move."
He didn't have to wait long for whatever "time" he was waiting for, before he nimbly strolled across the street, his cane in one hand and held up proudly like some regal scepter. And as he went, he lifted both his arm and his voice, letting drift a carrying verse on the winds.
"And now it is the time at last, for my grand plan to come to pass! A step-in here and and over there, Will bring a prize most duly fair!"
And as he sang out the final line, a small group of citizens he'd had lurking about simply appeared out of seemingly nowhere. With deft fingers they got the main doors to the building open and he literally waltzed right in, still singing merrily.
"Come on boys, let's not delay! Get to work with haste I say! But do feel free, if you so want, To take a look about this haunt!"
Spinning his cane in one hand, he marched boldly and without a care straight for his destination -- his cash prize the opera house held. And if he could get away with it, anything else that struck his fancy. There were bound to be a handful or more of interesting little trinkets around here that would fetch a nice price to the right buyer!

The girls' story seemed somewhat believable. The owners of Opera Houses had proven to be less than agreeable in the past - particularly to their own Opera Ghost. While not exactly sympathy, Erik decided that proving his presence to the owners of this opera house would be preferable to waiting as he once did. He would have to claim that he had taken his first salary and that he would expect the same thing to be paid each month. Hopefully the managers would be agreeable and not attempt to fight his rules. Erik would simply have to ensure that the girl did not report his existence to others. Knowing how people act, Erik assumed that she would tell about him if he didn't make sure she didn't.
Erik began to speak, but was interrupted by the sound of someone entering... while singing. The Phantom turned to look at the man, who's voice began to possess some sort of hypnotizing quality. He was dressed flamboyantly in bright purples and greens; certainly not fitting for someone entering an opera house. He seemed to be singing about... robbing the opera house. While doing so to get revenge on Managers who had gone back on you was acceptable, this man seemed set on simply robbing it for no purpose. The Opera Ghost took a step forward, taking hold of his Punjab Lasso. Dealing with this man would likely not be difficult.
"You there, stop! Your plan has a flaw... You chose to tangle with... The Phantom of the Opera!"
Erik had not meant to sing. It seemed the man's voice had a certain power to it; one that made those around him sing. This was a surprise - while Erik's voice was said to have a hypnotic quality to it, this man's voice had literally forced him to sing. It was nothing Erik had heard of before - but he had just been brought to an entirely different time, he would need to learn to accept certain things.

It...didn't seem like he was going to stop her or hurt her for that matter. Which was great news for her since Dominique really needed that money. Though...it was bothersome when she heard someone else enter the place. Damnit all, more wrenches tossed into her plans! Plus this guy sounded like he wanted to steal from here too...but out of greed. If only she had the luxury of wanting to be greedy, snatching up money was all in the name of survival. Not like she would though...being a glutton with french fries was more her speed anyway!
Clenching her hand into a fist, she listened to the hypnotic beats lacing the new man's song and brought up her electric guitar. Somehow making it work in a way that almost seemed mysterious when she began to strum away. It was a friggin' electrical guitar and by the laws of common sense, it shouldn't work right now. Melodies that almost seemed supportive of their little song going on right at this very moment began to grace the air. After the Phantom of the Opera, she began to sing out her part....
"And then there's me so let's make the singing sensation from two to three! Your singing's good, this is true...but man... Purple and green snazzy man... Don't mess with our plans!"
Glaring a bit at the new comer who was giving harmony a bad name, she slightly leaned to the masked fellow she was going to team up with. Whispering in a sing song way...
"I like to sing, this is true... ...but is it just me or are we forced to sing with his new found melody?"
All of her musically coated words were well sung and on key to say the least as they passed her lips. Unfortunately though, a new concern arose soon after she sang those words in a hush hush fashion....what if there was going to be more to this and mister sing-a-long guy was more dangerous than he was letting on?! Perhaps she should take a risk and transform into Disque? For now, she put that option on the back burner and got ready to initiate her electric guitar's special. However, she did click her heels together and activated her special boots allowing her the option to hover, levitate, and more importantly...move fast and get some flight out of it. There was also the rocket boot function if she needed a boost...plus she didn't want to reveal her alter-ego right away. For all she knew it would give her more trouble than it was worth!
Now though, the soles of her feet were trimmed by a white stripe to indicate they were now active. Bracing herself, she was keeping an eye on their opponent and was sure as hell going to get and maintain a rhythm against this...guy....who...oh snap! He reminded her of those pimp things a co-worker told her about once! Yikes...this was going to be bad...according to Linda...they were mean and cruel...as well as creepy.... Uh...but right now all new guy and pimps had in common were outfits. YET....he could also pass off for some musical genius...from a point in time where Jazz was more appreciated.
The last thought seemed better suited for him...or at least she hoped so. Linda didn't go into detail but money grubbing jerks who bossed people around were never a good thing!
