The storm that beat mercilessly against the Hellsing mansion had literally come from nowhere. Just minutes ago it had been a calm day, but now, despite it being just past noon, the ominous dark clouds out blanketed the sky so thickly it plunged the area into an artificial night. The wind howled so fiercely it seemed as if some great demonic beast was clawing at everything, and already more than one tree had lost several limbs. The rain came down so thickly, and in such frigid needles, it further blanketed the air in gloom.
A fork of lightning split the air, and in its split-second glow, a silouhette was revealed on the grounds of the mansion. An extremely tall humanoid figure, trenchcoat billowing behind him in the howling wind, and the eerie gleam of snow-white teeth set under the crimson glow of demonic eyes.
As soon as the lightning lighting the air faded, the figure was gone.
The next oddity that came was, under the thickest shadows nearest the mansion, a number of eyes opened in the darkness, the shadow writhing thickly. Of varying size, they merely stared unblinkingly for several seconds, before disappearing with another flash of lightning.
A single eye, nearly the size of a man's head, appeared within the entrance hall of the mansion with another flash of lightning. A crash of thunder a split-second later masked the echoing chuckle that rent the relative quiet inside the mansion.
And then, out from the shadow in the entrance hall, stepped the No-Life King; Alucard simply strolled forward, as if he were returning from a simple walk. Lifting his head to look up at the familiar walls and ceiling, he smiled.
"It's good to be home."

An elegant cigar rested at the corner of her mouth while the smoke delicately drifted about in the air as though it was dancing away with the subtle breezes in her office. Sitting there in her big ol' chair while staring out the window beyond her stern reflection. Why was everyone important missing in action? Even Seras the police girl wasn't around for quite some time. Mind you, this strong woman didn't allow her organization to fall nor crumble because of the crucial pieces to her crew to make sure everyone else was safe fell out out contact.
Not at all, she simply reorganized her plans to make things work out and keep as many soldiers alive as possible. However...there was a new threat among them here at home. The American branch of her organization would have to hang on for now since she had to plan things out for something that was unsettling to the Sacred Virgin. There was someone going around and causing quite the ruckus and normally she'd send out either Walter, Alucard or even Seras to investigate the matter. Instead, she's had to use her more mundane sources to spy from afar.
Obviously, that couldn't give anyone precise details and from what she gathered...it was some sort of vigilante taking matters into their own hands. Wreckless....so very reckless and disorganized. The storm around and about causing the windows to rattle disrupted her thoughts for a moment as she took a closer look at the property and noticed something....familiar. This woman had a stone cold composure that didn't seem to so much as crack as the events continued to unfold...he was back. After all this time, he was finally returning to his master.
Carefully moving the cigar out of her mouth to tap it into the ash try before putting it back between her lips and standing up to her full height. Wearing her usual uniform, it's not like she had planned any meetings today and even if she did, they'd have all been canceled for this particular moment. The return of Alucard. Strolling along down the vacant halls which were once monitored by her watchful butler, continuing to break the silence with each and every step. When the chuckle echoed like a hellish bell, that was certainly a confirmation that it was indeed one of her missing pieces to this elaborate game of chess.
Of course, when she finally ended her NEVER ENDIIIIIIIIING stroll and was a few feet away from the family pet who looked more than happy to be home again. "Welcome back, Alucard...it appears you've returned just in time..." As usual, her words were coated in a tone of leadership...but it was almost like she was actually sincerely welcoming him back in her own boss-sorta way. Like any family pet, she did care whether or not he was hit by a car in some sort of trouble and wouldn't return. Obviously loyalty wasn't doubted in the slightest, Alucard was more loyal than most despite what he was and that's why he was the most important piece in her plans.
"You see, someone is going around taking the vampire problem into their own hands...someone who isn't affiliated with any organization to my knowledge, that is." Now it was about time to see how much he liked the idea of his little welcome back mission. With the way she said it though was almost like her underhanded way of saying that someone interesting was prancing about on their territory while he was doing...whatever it is Alucard did when vanishing.

His gaze slowly lowered as he heard the approach of his Master. The smile that graced his features grew into a much more pronounced grin. Yes.... His Master. He would never admit it, of course, but he could hardly have asked for a better person to have hold of his reigns. As she spoke up, the grin on his face remained in place, though he was, of course, listening intently to every word.
The news she presented wasn't exactly news to him. He'd been aware of...someone going about and taking the problem into their own hands. He had thought it would have been resolved by now; some no-name nobody who thought they knew a thing or two about vampire-slaying.... But if it was being told directly to him, it must be a bit more than that. And that thought alone was enough to get his attention fully. Already his eagerness was flaring up. He knew what he would need to do, but he would ask the question anyway.
Sweeping the fedora off his head, he placed it over his heart, and lowered himself into a bow, bending at the waist. "What would you have me do....my Master?"

"Find the vigilante and use what means are necessary against him..this is Hellsing's territory..." Sternly stating those words to him with that usual stone cold stare of hers, she didn't by any means instruct this mysterious man be killed. Not just yet, anyway...there was no need for that. It was her duty as head of Hellsing to make sure that things were all in order...safety for those who couldn't fend for themselves...and most importantly eliminate what threats crossed their paths. "...and of course, I'd like to find out what he's capable of which I'm certain you'll be able to discover for me without getting bored."
Letting a slight smirk curve across her lips while smoke swirled about in the air from her cigar. A normal person would get some sort of portfolio full of information on the target to assure there's no screw ups. However, all she reached for was a simple photograph taken by one of her soldiers concealed within her pocket since she felt as though it would be so much more interesting if Alucard got a feel for his PREY target all on his own. Though this individual did show promise, still...this was a photo she was keeping on hand in case the head of Hellsing needed to solo the situation. True, the strong woman could handle things all on her own...however, as a leader...it was crucial she did more behind the scenes work and send out orders.
Only stepping out into the field herself when it was absolutely necessary. So really, Alucard had superb timing in coming back. What he was busying himself with was certainly a question she had swimming about in the depths of her mind, however that could wait. This was a bit more important than drilling him about his temporary vanishing act.
