The decision to visit here had been impromptu, but it had been a wise one indeed. Thor was rarely prone to such moments of utter wisdom, but in this instance he had been blessed to have such a plan. The occurrences in Asgard were getting bothersome, and who better to look into them and either assist or allay the fears of Asgard's people than the master of the mystic arts? The Sorceror Supreme was not exactly an easy man to track down, but by calling in a favor or two, he had found his residence and was now making his way there.
"This Sorceror Supreme must be mighty indeed to have such a title! If he is half as knowledgable and powerful as they say, then his aid will surely be able to rectify the problem most expediantly!"
He touched down outside of what appeared to be no more than a rather plain -- if rather grand and stately by Midgardian terms -- mansion. Thor took a moment to size it up, and he decided that yes, it did look suitably inconspicuous and that not many would actually think a being such as the Sorceror Supreme would reside here. Taking solace in the fact that he was hopefully in the right location, he made his way up to the door, and knocked lightly on it -- though a light knock for Thor still produced a deep booming impact, and the hinges creaked in protest at the "assault".
And then he stepped back to wait; he had patience enough for such an important matter, and he wished not to trifle with a being of as much power as the Sorceror Supreme.

Doctor Strange had sensed a powerful being approaching the Sanctum Sanctorum. Many people would have panicked upon discovering such a thing, but Doctor Strange understood that powerful and evil were not the same thing. So, he'd first consulted the Orb of Agamatto before preparing any defenses further than his own magic. In the Orb of Agamatto Doctor Strange had seen the God of Thunder himself approaching. How strange.... the Sanctum Sanctorum had never before been visited by any gods of the Norse Pantheon. The Sorcerer Supreme wondered just what Thor would be doing at the Sanctum before remembering that he'd heard of trouble in Asgard. Apparently the God of Mischief had invaded and attempted to take the Throne of Asgard from Odin. It was a shame Loki would never learn his lesson... the God of Mischief displayed ample talent in magic which he could put to much better use.
The Sorcerer Supreme briefly pondered what advice he would give the God of Thunder. His brother, Loki, was difficult to deal with. Doctor Strange had even heard that he'd acquired some new great power from the being Thanos. Loki and Thanos... Not a team-up that Doctor Strange would like to see continuing in the future. Those two would cause much trouble for the entirety of the world, perhaps even other worlds. That was troublesome indeed...
Suddenly, a booming noise resounded through the Sanctum. The Thunderer's strength was indeed legendary and it seemed it lived up to what Doctor Strange had read of. The Sorcerer Supreme walked over to the door of his manor and opened it, revealing Thor outside. "Greetings, God of Thunder." Doctor Strange said, making an inviting gesture. He certainly wasn't one to keep his visitors outside, particularly when they were literal gods. "I assume you're here because of the recent trouble in Asgard. Loki is quite the troublesome one, I've noticed." The Sorcerer Supreme had heard much of Loki in his readings on Asgard. Apparently the God of Mischief had interfered much in Thor's business, much of the time without Thor even knowing it. The God of Mischief was certainly as crafty as his title implied...

He only had to wait for but a few moments before the door was opened. He was at first mildly surprised that someone of such status as the Sorceror supreme could be so....unassuming in appearance. He shook his surprise off and responded in kind to the greeting he received. "Greetings to you as well, Sorceror Supreme." And at the invitation, he stepped across the threshold and into the manor. A quick glance about told him that, as he had suspected, it appeared to be much larger within that its outer appearance would indicate. Interesting magic, indeed.
At Doctor Strange's guess as to why Thor had visited, the mighty Thunderer could not help the mild grin that appeared on his features. "Your insight is vast indeed. That is indeed the root of the problem, or so I suspect." He went quiet for a moment as he attempted to form his words properly. "As of Loki's last attempt to claim Asgard's throne....there have been troubles. Demons and creatures from other realms have been assaulting Asgard from impossible directions. A scout reported portals of some sort."
"Normally this would be no cause for concern. But their numbers are too great for our current forces to withstand, after my Brother's attack. As well....they should not be capable of teleporting directly into Asgard, no matter their means. I suspect some trickery or sorcery of my brother to be afoot."
