/casually requests 15000 sly cooper characters

Bentley - As someone who started out as being there...basically just for exposition, I feel like Bentley turned into a
pretty great character in his own right. He totally proved himself to be badass and able to stand on his own even while not being as physically strong as the other members of the gang or the enemies they come up against - oh, and whoever takes him could have so much fun with the crazy inventions he comes up with and his super-insane yet somehow really
brilliant schemes and how :] he is about everything.
[/li][li]
Murray - Murray is the best because he
looks like he should be really badass (especially with how strong he is) and he really tries to live up to that but he just...has this tendency to be way over-dramatic and take his dialogue from cheesy action movies and it's just the best. Once he lets that act drop, though, he's pretty much the sweetest thing - he's mostly a comic relief character but he's got some serious character development too, and I'm sure anyone who takes him will have a ton of fun.
although we may already have someone interested[/li][li]
Penelope - Penelope is p. much freaking flawless. As the only 'official' female member of the Cooper gang, it's so great that she's
just as smart (if not even more so) as Bentley and totally willing to put him in his place every now and then (while being p. adorable at the same time). Because AM totally needs more geniuses, right? Although some, uh.
Stuff happened with Penelope's character development in the fourth game, if the player didn't like it, they could always take her from before that and choose to ignore it.
[/li][li]
The Panda King -You just. Have to really love this guy. Even though he was a villain in the previous games, and did some pretty horrible things, at his core his honor really means a lot to him and he turns himself around and finds his own redemption by
accepting who he used to be, not running from it. On top of all that, he's a freaking
badass papa bear who'd do anything to protect his family, and has crazy skills with fireworks to boot
okay gandalf. Just. <3.
[/li][li]
Dimitri - o m f g dimitri though. There's nothing to even say except that he learned the majority of his English from
hip hop videos and is constantly butchering slang terms and being ridiculous in general. He'd be a great comic relief character to have around, I think.
[/li][li]
The Guru - The Guru is p. awesome. And I think he'd be an interesting protagonist here - a hero who strongly promotes peace over violence, and yet - can kick
so much ass without really resorting to 'fighting' the way other people do - hello mind control and mystic abilities. :]
da villains :OOO
[/li][li]
Clockwerk - Clockwerk is just such a fantastic big bad, in any setting. He's just
such a psychopath, and can get fixated on things so easily that it wouldn't be hard to give him some motivation (even outside his Cooper hate) here. I mean. The guy literally gave up his mortal body and programmed himself to survive on hatred
just so he could live forever and destroy his enemies. There's probably not much he wouldn't do to ensure that he comes out on top, and he tends to be extremely jealous of anyone he perceives as being more powerful than he is. Not that that's an easy task - when he's got the ridiculous range of weapons that he does, as well as enough resistance to damage to survive being plunged into molten lava (and an automatic repair function for when he
does get damaged), Clockwerk could probably hold his own among the big bads of AM.
[/li][li]
Neyla - fucking neyla, man. Despite all the shit she pulled, she's really one of my favorite villains in the series - just because she was able to manipulate everyone - the heroes, the villains,
everyone - and come out on top. She's insanely smart and terrifyingly ruthless, but at first she just comes off as this...very normal, very charming kind of girl. If you want a villain with complexity but with a capacity for crazy manipulation, Neyla could be a great choice.
[/li][li]
The Contessa - This character. Is creeepy. I mean, she paints herself as a respected psychologist, a doctor who
helps people - when in reality she is legitimately using her groundbreaking 'hypnotherapy' to turn people into her
slaves. If anyone wants to take up a more subtle villain, she has potential for some really cool plots.
[/li][li]
Other Villains - Some of them are the least ok, but really seeing any of them here would be cool. 8D
da ancestors :OOO
[/li][li]
Rioichi Cooper - Rioichi is probably the ancestor I want to see most now that Tennessee's taken, ngl. Probably the most agile member of the Cooper Clan (and for a
reason - he's a freaking ninja), anyone playing him could have some serious fun with his physical feats alone. His personality is also gr8, though. He doesn't show off, and he doesn't seem to share the recklessness of so many of his family members - he's calm and somber and thoughtful, and would even rather avoid violence when possible. It's just. Difficult not to get attached <3.
[/li][li]
"Tennessee Kid" Cooper -thnx bawb :]
[/li][li]
Bob Cooper - So Bob is pretty much adorable, even though he doesn't get much love in comparison to the rest of the ancestors. But if you want to talk about characters who are confused by modern technology - Bob is from the
Ice Age. He is bound to get into some 2wacky shenanigans.
[/li][li]
Sir Galleth Cooper - Galleth could be ridiculously fun. Between the way he talks like a Shakespeare characters, and his ridiculously outdated views on things like feminism (which is hilarious to watch as he constantly gets proven wrong), he comes off as pretty...strange. But he's definitely not without that trademark Cooper charm, at the same time, and is a great character in his own right.
[/li][li]
Salim Al-Kupar - AM clearly needs cranky old characters who only want their retirement but keep getting pulled into messy plots y/y? Salim is just the most bad-tempered and snarky, and people kind of underestimate him because of his age, but the great thing about him? When he wants to kick ass, he
still can. He's also got a lot of wisdom under that grumpy exterior, and...oh yeah, a magic carpet, nbd :].
[/li][li]
Any Other Ancestor Ever - you'd have to do some headcanoning for the rest of them, but they'd all be perf <3
