SO YEAH DON'T ASK WHERE THIS NOSTALGIC MUSE CAME FROM. Let's face it though, my roster could do with some lighter characters. But I'd really like opinions on this, because my muse can't quuuite decide which one it wants right now. There are some I'm leaning towards more so than others, but I wanna see which character people are most interested in interacting with and stuff first.
IN CASE YOU DON'T SOME OF THESE GUYS (omg am pls) or just need a memory refresher, I've included some clips.
- Balto - Balto is a half-husky, half-wolf who's lived most of his life as a stray, due to the people of his town treating him like a dangerous wild animal because of his heritage. He's actually a famous...historical figure though? When a diphtheria outbreak struck the children of Nome, Alaska, he led a team of sleddogs through the Alaskan wilderness to get them the medicine they needed. He has difficulty accepting who he is and coming to terms with the wolf in him, but he's a good-natured, heroic character who...well, can't do much in the way of fighting (at least here on AM), but would probably try to help people in need on a lower scale? CLICK HERE FOR A CLIP! (by the way, one of my absolute favorite scenes in animated movie history)
- Rapunzel - Rapunzel pls. Omg this character is just absolutely one of my favorites from Disney. She's spunky, energetic, sweet, and just a little to naive for her own good. Also she has magical glowing hair that heals people and keeps them young forever. Um. Yeah. If I apped her, I'd be taking her from near the beginning of the movie where she just has no idea what she's doing and kind of derps around in the real world, trying to make friends with just anyone even if they're CLEARLY EVIL. rapunzel pls. But yeah, I'm not exactly sure what she would get into plot-wise - it depends on what sort of relationships she forms? She could be a hero type in her own right, but she could also be easily manipulated. All she really wants to to just see the world, meet people, and learn everything she can about them. - Megara - Meg would be a fun character to play. She's confident, snarky, and shamelessly flirtatious - but she's also kind of damaged, even though she's too proud to admit that. She sold her soul to Hades in order to save the life of the man she loved...and then he dumped her and ran off with some other woman. So um. Yeah. She's no stranger to making 'deals with the devil', so to speak, so she might get involved with some of the darker characters on the board if they have enough to offer her - she's fantastic at manipulation, so she'd be pretty useful? Once again, though, there's no telling what she'd get involved in, so WHO KNOWS? CLICK FOR CLIP!
- Esmeralda - I just had to include her, because um yes. One of my favorite Disney movies of all time. Esmeralda is a gypsy from 15th century Paris, and is accustomed to discrimination and scorn - she probably wouldn't be expecting much else here. And she's done her fair share of thieving and conning people to survive, so she wouldn't be above any of that here, either. Beneath it all, though, she does have an extremely good heart. With all the trolling that goes on around AM, she'd probably be a good candidate for really just helping people out and giving them a shoulder to cry on. Beyond that, again, we'd have to see how her relationships developed. CLICK FOR CLIP!
- Jane - OH LOOK BANANAS! Omfg Jane. I don't even know what I'd do with her. She's clumsy and overly talkative and something of a spazz, so she'd just sort of be comic relief? She's fascinated by new things, new people, and especially new species, though. She'd just be asking everyone all sorts of questions and kinda being goofy and just doing her adorable little thing. I don't have very many plot ideas for her, but she'd CERTAINLY be fun. CLICK FOR CLIP!
- Kenai - Kenai was a man who was turned into a bear by his spiritual ancestors to teach him to be less of a dick. Um. Yeah. Just for RP purposes, I'd make him be able to talk, and oh my god he'd just be so bitter about his entire situation. The thing is, though, he needs to shape up if he wants to have hope of ever turning back into a human. So...big, fluffy, friendly grizzly bear time? Also if I did apped him, and if someone else were to app Koda, I would just love them forever and ever. CLICK FOR CLIP!
- Charlie - Another animal character, weee. This movie's actually a little less well-known than the rest I'm picking, so let me seee...Charlie's actually kind of a horrible person. Or he would be, if he was a person. He lies, cheats, gambles, scams, and doesn't really care about anyone but himself. But when he was murdered, guess what - he was sent to Heaven, under the assumption that all dogs are loyal, innocent, and kind. Instead of just accepting his afterlife, Charlie of course had to cheat his way out of heaven and landed himself back down on Earth with a second chance at life. The only thing is, once you leave Heaven, you can never go back - and he wears a watch around his neck, literally ticking down the moments until he dies again and is sent to Hell. SO UM YEAH. TOTALLY A LIGHT-HEARTED KIDS MOVIE RIGHT. CLICK FOR CLIP!
