alright so sign-up thing for the Unown plot, whiiiich, as it is my first plot, I am going to ask for advice for! So if anyone has suggestions on how to make this a smooth ride for everyone involved please tell me because hahasoinsecureaboutthis.
The Unown are strange Psychic-type Pokemon, extremely susceptible to the thoughts and emotions of others, and also very weak individually. When together with a number of other Unown, however, they grow exponentially more powerful - and when tapping into the feelings or wishes of others, they can warp reality in order to act upon those emotions. This is what makes them stronger, until they can sustain themselves from the act of warping reality alone, and then go from weird wishgranting things to genuine danger.
Which is why they're usually stuck in a different dimension where they're not capable of doing much harm. Of course, all well laid plans eventually come to ruin, and when a rift opened and brought them to another world entirely... well, things were not going to end well.
Now, they are set loose in an entire world of people with so many desires and feelings, so many thoughts to act upon - and when the entire world is connected to so many other dimensions, who's to say they can't simply bring it into their own?
So the Unown are bad news. They're going to show up in San Francisco, and then grant the desires or act upon the emotions of a small group of people. These have to be strong wishes or feelings, primarily because it'll only be three to five people at maximum. The energy they gain from this will ensure a lot of reality warping, and leads into the second stage of the plot.
The second stage is that the whole city gets taken to the Unown dimension, complete with crazy reality warping that is now out of control. And everyone caught up in it needs to figure a way out and how to stop the Unown who quite frankly don't understand why everyone is suddenly attacking them. How rude. D:
Any character can be involved with this! I am... not exactly sure on what kind of layout to do - one thread for the wishgranting group or several individually ~and then~ another split up set for the city? Large threads move slowly and I'd like this plot to go through and be resolved so um haha how to go through with that?
Regardless, the first phase deals with a small group, preferably of people who aren't godly on the power scale and have lots of stuff for the Unown to feed off of. You can have ideas of what you'd like them to do ooor I'll just make up shit on my own - whatever you like! Aaaand in the second phase anyone you want to get involved can be!
The city, once in the Unown's dimension, will not restrain anyone's power - but physics and logic and universal laws don't really make much sense there. Water will be breathable. Snow won't be cold. Buildings will be bigger or smaller on the inside than they appear from without. Fun stuff! As well, given the setting - the Unown will be powerful here. Figuring out how to reverse the reality warping will take more than just beating them up - which is sadly a much more simple solution.
Layout
Wishing Phase - One group thread where the wishers all presumably arrive in the same area, Unown.exe. Wishes may or may not take place during this time.
Additionally, individual threads according to whoever wants one, for more in-depth wishes.
SHITISWRECKED Phase - Several small threads, all culminating in a showdown with the Unown. hahaha not going to worry about this for a while yet.
Eridan - Wisher
Richard - Wisher
Once-ler - Wisher
Wayward Vagabond - Wisher
Eponine - Wisher
Clara Oswin Oswald - Second Phase
Ninth Doctor - Second Phase
Ridley Duchannes - Second Phase
Lena Duchannes - Second Phase(TEAM TARDIS 2.0 ASSEMBLE exceptfluffybecausehe'sdead)
