Tony had a hangover, as per usual.
They'd drank the night before, but Bruce hadn't drunk as much as Tony. While his friend woke up with a horrid hangover, the scientist woke up feeling just fine. So he left Tony to be watched over by Pepper as he went out into the city. He promised Tony that he'd answer his phone if he was needed when the Billionaire felt better.
Bruce hadn't seen much of New York--well, seeing as how he was Hulk the last time he got the "scenic" tour of the city...(well if you could define "scenic" as an Alien army destroying the city and blowing up things.)
The scientist was happy to be able to get out of Stark Tower for a while--well the newly refurbished one. It was nice to have his own room and be able to do science-y things with Tony, but he needed to get outside every once in a while to get air. Not that New York had the "freshest" air, but it was still air. It also gave him the chance to prove his newly found self confidence.
Spending more time with Tony was making him feel more confident about being able to control the Hulk. He didn't feel as stressed out having to hide from the ones who had hunted him thanks to Tony. He pretty much owned the man his life.
Bruce smiled a bit as he took in the sights around him as he made his way through New York. Of course, he didn't stray too far from Stark Tower in case Tony called for his "Science Bro."
Bruce enjoyed the ambience of the car horns and the sound of swarms of walking people as he moved down the streets. It was so much different from the other places he'd been.
It made him feel a bit less nervous being in a crowd where he didn't really stand out. He wouldn't tell Tony, but being recognized by others still triggered the tiny bit of paranoia that he held onto after being chased for many years.
For now, he just breathed and let himself relax to enjoy the rest of the day.
It wasn't like anyone was out to get him or anything, right?

A young woman with platinum blonde hair and a distracted air strode calmly through the crowd, her second-hand wool jacket a welcome blessing as she made her way towards the edge of the city.
Eliza wasn't paying attention to where she was going, not really - there was a lot to think about, and a nightmare still weighed on her mind, but the fresh air was doing wonders to clear her head, and the headaches had quite gone away - amazing what a stroll can do to help matters!
The girl's mind was buzzing now with new ideas, and her excitement was difficult to contain, so that was probably, she justified later, why one other person found himself directly in her path. It was like hitting a soft wall - she squeaked in surprise as the bump saw her fall backward, slipping a bit on the sidewalk as she, rather uncharacteristically, lost her footing!
Anger flared a moment an she looked up to the man she'd bumped into... And the flash of fury died with a pathetic little puff.
The dark-haired man before her was in excellent shape, and his face was... Striking, well-shaped and pleasing to the eyes, yet he had a look about him that suggested... A seriously intellectual nature. She realized then she was staring in admiration, her jaw slightly ajar. She shut it and blinked, and sat there tongue-tied.
What could she say to such a god? She half contemplated an apology, but couldn't find the words for a full three seconds.
"S-sorry..." She started "I didn't see you..." And gave him a sheepish little smile.

((WOW I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T NOTICE YOUR REPLY.)) Bruce hadn't noticed the female either until he collided with her. He was instantly snapped out of his thoughts as he felt the bump and heard the squeak. His head snapped to see a woman slipping a bit on the sidewalk before falling backwards.
"I'm so sorry," Bruce started to say before the woman apologized as well.
"N-No it's my fault really," he replied, offering the woman a hand as she sat on the sidewalk, "I wasn't paying attention. You're not hurt are you?"
The doctor in him set in as he looked over the woman as she sat on the ground, inspecting her for any outward injuries like scraps or cuts. Those he could easily take care of with things he kept in his medical bag....which unfortunately for him was back at Stark Towers with a hungover Tony.

Eliza was floored by the man's good manners and gentlemanly nature. Not only was he good looking... But kind, too! She could have been frozen as a statue - it felt like it for the girl as she sat there, but only a moment passed before she delicately took his hand to accept the help up. He had strong hands, too, soft hands - a bit dry, maybe, but that just meant he washed them often - a doctor maybe? She wasn't certain - she for sure didn't notice her scraped up hands though until she really thought about his question!
She blinked at her hands and realized - ow, that hurt! She winced, and looked to his hand - some of her own blood had gotten on him.
"Oh... Ow, just a scrape..." She said, feeling foolish. It wasn't like she'd ever sue someone - after all, she was a missing person according to public records, she couldn't get a lawyer without a massive legal backwash and a pain in the ass, but she wouldn't consider it anyway - her magic would ordinarily suffice.
So she didn't look too disturbed by this, and smiled a bit sheepishly at him, reaching for her bag - surely somewhere she had a napkin to help with the blood she'd left in some ample quantity on his hands.

Bruce looked a bit more alert when he noticed a bit of blood she'd left on his hand. He then followed her movements to eye the scrape she'd acquired from her fall.
"I don't want to sound creepy or anything," Bruce continued to look between the female's face and her injury, "But why don't you let me clean that up for you? I'm a doctor and I wouldn't want that to get infected because of my stupidity."
Bruce would have felt horrible if the simple scrap manifested into anything worse than that. The least he could do was offer to help her patch it up. Even though his doctor's bag was back at Stark Towers, but luckily it wasn't too far away...
